LinktoURL with no title bar

Hi all,
I am using IWDLinkToURL to create a link to create a popup window containing another WD app.  In the popup window I am looking to remove the title bar and resize the pop up.  I looked into setting the target properties of the link to URL but found nothing that fit my needs.  Is it possible to do either? If so how?
Thanks
Jonathan

You could use a LinkToAction instead. In the action handler, the following code opens an "external" window displaying the content of a given URL and removes some window features:
IWDWindow window = wdComponentAPI.getWindowManager().createNonModalExternalWindow(url, title);
window.removeWindowFeature(WDWindowFeature.MENU_BAR);
/* etc. */
The title bar cannot be removed.

  • X11 is opening windows with the title bar under the menu bar

    Hi, I've just upgraded to Leopard and I use X11 at work to log into a Sun and run Cadence. Some of the windows open with their title bar under the menu bar at the top of the screen making it impossible to move or resize the windows. Is there a way to make it open the windows slightly farther down or is this a bug in X11 that will be fixed soon? Previously with Tiger, I never had this problem.

    Great I switched to it shortly after upgrading to 10.5 and as far as what to stick with, i'm not quite sure, but my understanding it's the same open source stuff apple uses and I believe some of the fixes are intended to be used in the future updates, but maybe the xquartz site could fill you in a bit more.

  • Window goes transparent with only title bar left

    I'm trying to download Adobe Flash Player (11.5) for mac OS X (10.6) and when i should get the window to check box and instal- it disappears!!!with only the top of the window (title bar) left so i can close or minimize only

    This happens when i am installing (i have already done all the steps of the window you see behind on the screen shot: http://get2.adobe.com/flashplayer/download/?installer=Flash_Player_11_for_Mac_OS_X_10.6_-_ 10.8&os=OSX&browser_type=Gecko&browser_dist=Firefox). I took two screen shots: one right before and one after the content has disappeared. Thanks

  • I just got new lenovo with windows8.1, toolbar for this came with microscopic title bar size

    just returned asus zenbook and bought lenovo yoga, it came with big differnce on title bar font size only on mozilla browser. when i oppened new window, icons on very top right corner (minimize, restore down, close) are microscopic. i know how to enlarge buttons itself and it work , but icons remain same size. Then i downloaded adobe flash player for live streaming. It came with toolbar on the side, which is impossible to read without magnifier. I'm not on Windows, so can't check if this code still works.
    Add code to the <b>userChrome.css</b> file below the default @namespace line.

    <pre><nowiki>@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

    The customization files userChrome.css (user interface) and userContent.css (websites) are located in the <b>chrome</b> folder in the Firefox profile folder.

    You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
    *Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
    *Create the chrome folder (lowercase) in the <xxxxxxxx>.default profile folder if this folder doesn't exist
    *Use a plain text editor like Notepad to create a (new) userChrome.css file in the chrome folder (file name is case sensitive)
    *Paste the code in the userChrome.css file in the editor window
    *Make sure that the userChrome.css file starts with the default @namespace line
    *Make sure that you select "All files" and not "Text files" when you save the file via "Save file as" in the text editor as userChrome.css.<br>Otherwise Windows may add a hidden .txt file extension and you end up with a not working userChrome.css.txt file

  • How do create a channel with no title bar/header ?

    Hi,
    II need to add a image to Portal desktop. I have created a channel without boards but I could not remove the title bar. Has any one managed to remove the title bar without editing the leafwrapper.jsp ?
    Thanks,
    Ravi

    Hi Guys,
    How can I remove the titlebar for very channel (it's too much work to make a property line for every possible channel and besides I immediately want to have a channel without titlebar when creating a new channel).
    I understand that this is possible by changing the leafwrapper.jsp, and by adding the following line for each channel.
    <Collection name="channelsHasFrame">
    <Boolean name="channelname" value="false"/>
    </Collection>
    but isn't this possible (having no titlebar for every channel) in a general way which is one line somewhere in the display profile or so?

  • How to get standard Windows (7) title bars in Visual Studio 2013 Express?

    Using Win 7 in "Windows Classic" theme.

    Hi sponge_bob_128,

    Based on your issue, could you please tell me more detailed message about your issue.
    For example:
    (1)What did you would like to do in the Visual Studio 2013 Express?
    (2) If you want to develop a program like the "title bar" background color changing when active vs inactive from the VS2013 Express.
    Generally, I know that when we set the theme as "Windows Classic" theme on the Windows 7 and then start two VS windows, it will show an active VS window like the following screen shot.

  • Xfe Not Displaying Title Bar

    Ok, new problem.  I have xfe installed but when it starts up it is in the very upper left corner of the screen with no title bar(and hence no way to move it around or minimize it and what not), I tried forcing it with <decor>yes</decor> in the rc.xml for openbox but it was a no go...  Anythoughts?  Thanks in advance for your time.

    No, no. You can have windows decorations, but I have seen several bugs in which the decorations disappear, so you'll have to identify what is causing it and then you'll probably find a solution here or in the wiki.
    That time I had the same problem I had to add an option like 'addargbxvisuals' or something like that to the nvidia-driver section of my xorg.conf.
    Zl.

  • Firefox opens and I see a title bar but the main window content is not refreshed or loaded

    I installed Firefox 4.0 and it installed fine. When I run it, the window opens with the title bar and borders but the inside content pane is blank. The only option I have it to close it.
    If I uninstall 4.0 and reinstall the latest 3.x release, it works fine. I've removed all of the 3rd party add ons but am still having this issue.

    I think I found the problem. I have 3 monitors, my primary monitor is connected through an external USB video card (Sabrenet Viewmax) using DisplayLink drivers. When I move the Firefox browser window over to the laptop monitor or to the monitor that is connected through the laptop's VGA port, Firefox works as expected. Is this a driver issue? a Firefox issue? As a side note, one of my Microsoft apps is having the same exact issue, Microsoft Visual Studio Web Developer Express.
    Help?

  • Why do I have two title bars - one with the title of the page I'm looking at and another with the new orange drop down menu? Plus I can't get FF4 to save my tabs, even when I go to about:config, why is that?

    I downloaded FF4, thinking that it would merely update from my previous installation, but all my tabs were gone. FF looks really weird - here is a link to a picture of it: http://tinypic.com/r/2mwdus4/7 - I have two title bars, my bookmarks toolbar is missing and the tabs are on the bottom. If I go to view => toolbars and click one of them, suddenly the second title bar (with the orange menu) disappers and my bookmarks toolbar comes back (even if I don't click on it in "view"). I can't get the browser to remember my tabs between sessions even though I set it to remember them in my settings. I even changed the browser.showQuitWarning to true in about:config, but it didn't work. What is going on?

    Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
    * Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
    See:
    * [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]]

  • How to see document file name with full path when hovering mouse over title bar?

    Using PS CS6, Windows 7 x64.
    I was under the impression that when hovering my mouse over the document title bar, I would see a tooltip showing the full file name, including the path.  This isn't happening and I'm wondering if there is a way to do this.  I know I can click File > Save As, or Ctrl+Shift-S to see the full path, but hoving over the title bar would be easier.  (What I am seeing now in the tooltip is the file name, % magnification and which layer I have selected.  Basically, the tooltip is just showing what's in the title bar without hovering.)
    Thank you!
    John

    Hm, I wonder if it's something they may have enabled only for the Cloud version (I have 13.1.2).  If so, I didn't notice the change at the time of the upgrade.
    Nope, it's not that - I have a virtual machine for testing with 13.0.1 installed...  This is what I see there:

  • Is there any way to link the individual rows of data to the corresponding bars in a bar chart so that each legend title appears simultaneously with its corresponding bar when creating a build? I can do it in a pie chart but can't in a bar chart.

    You used the data.  Verizon can not see what it was sued for.  However your phone can see whats apps used the data.  go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle.  line the dates up with your cycle.  then there will be a bar graph below that   extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right.  after those are extended below that will be a list of apps,  there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse

    While I drag window something like a conture remains behind, aspecially on white background.
    Similar code in VB works perfectly.

    class NoTitleBar extends JWindow
      JLabel label = new JLabel("Title Bar  ");

          new NoTitleBar();
      public NoTitleBar()
          getContentPane().setLayout(null);
          label.setHorizontalAlignment(JLabel.CENTER);
          label.setBounds(0,0,400,25);
          label.setOpaque(true);
          label.setBackground(Color.blue);
          label.setForeground(Color.white);
          label.setBorder(BorderFactory.createBevelBorder(BevelBorder.RAISED,new Color(100,100,255),new Color(0,0,100)));
          BevelBorder bb = new BevelBorder(BevelBorder.RAISED, Color.blue,Color.blue);
          getContentPane().setBackground(Color.pink);
          getContentPane().add(label);
          setBounds(0,0,400,400);
          setVisible(true);
          label.addMouseListener(new labelListener());
          label.addMouseMotionListener(new labelMotionListener());
          addMouseListener(new MouseAdapter(){
