Linux .sh file problem SFTP

Hi,
Usually in our project, for FTP transfers we are writing linux .sh scripts and we are running those files on regular timings with crontab (out OS is linux).
But our current issue is to do the file transfer using SFTP. for that we ve written script also.
our sample code :
expect "password:"
send "XXXXX\n";
interact
It is working properly if we run the script manually ( ./test.sh)
But if we set this application in crontab by setting some time.. the execution is stopping by asking "password:".
Can u help in this?

Labview for Linux. Datasocket problem

Hello everybody,
I have a problem using datasocket connections in Labview for Linux. The problem is the starting of the connection, it's too slow. It takes around 3 or 4 seconds each connection. We are working with a lot of connections (one per Tag in a DSC code). If we test the same vi in Windows, it takes one or two seconds to open 30 connections.
What can we do?

I attempted to recreate this behavior on a Linux machine here running a Kernel
2.6 build, but could not replicate the issue (even when I gave a file/directory
777 permissions). This could, however, be related to some issues with the
way Linux updated its file searching and directory listing functions with
Kernel 2.6. I believe that the LabVIEW 7.1.1 maintenance release/patch
fixed some of these issues. You might want to install that patch, and mass
compile the LabVIEW directory (the LabVIEW mass compile command from the
"Tools->Advanced" menu). You can find links to the patch and

DW CS5 Missing Related Files Problem

Hello
Hoping somebody may be able to help me with a missing related files problem in CS5. I've tried Adobe phone support but they couldn't solve the problem.
*Some* of my sites (but not all) are not showing all the files related to that page. My pages are typically in .asp vb server model and contain .asp virtual includes (header, nav etc) plus .js and .css linked files
However DW is only showing the .asp includes as related files and not css or js ones. In design view the CSS is displaying correctly, and all styles appear in the CSS inspector but not showing as a related file in the bar. In CS4 it works fine.
I've tried deleting the site and recreating it, copying the files to a new folder and setting up a fresh site, creating a new folder and downloading all files from the remote server but no joy. I've also tried refreshing related files. if I click on the filter in the bar it only shows the asp includes and nothing else.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated, this is a great feature when it works

UPDATE:
Managed to solve this problem, this is a new issue to DW CS5, previous versions do not seem to exhibit this problem
It occurs when you use site root rather than document relative paths for js/css etc files AND don't have the remote site url (web url) specified in the site setup | local info dialog, or do not have it fully qualified with http://
ie. ../js/file.js works fine without a remote web url but /js/file.js does not show the related file in the bar unless a remote url is defined.
Hope that helps anyone else that encounters the same issue!

With conversion to Leopard, file problems with networked Windows computer

Last night I did an Archive & Install from Tiger to Leopard on my Intel MacBook Pro. Today, I had trouble finding the other computers at my office. Once I finally got them to show up, I opened a Word file found on another computer, made some changes, and when I tried to save it, I got this message: "This is not a valid file name. Try one or more of the following: *Check the path to make sure it was typed correctly. *Select a file from the list of files and folders." Since this file already existed and I wasn't changing the name, I thought this was odd, but I changed the name from "Seating Chart 3-8-08" to "SeatingChart3-8-08" in case Leopard didn't like spaces when talking to Windows, but I got the same error message. Finally I gave up, not knowing what to do, then discovered that it had in fact saved my file. Still, every time I try to save ANY Word document from the shared folder of the Windows computer, I get the same error message endlessly until I choose "Don't Save."
When I try to open an Excel file from that computer, it won't even open; it says " 'File Name.xls' cannot be accessed. This file may be Read-Only, or you may be trying to access a Read-Only location. Or, the server the document is stored on may not be responding." As with the Word file problem above, I did not have any problem accessing the files until I converted to Leopard.
The Windows machine is Windows XP using Microsoft Office 2003; I have Microsoft Office 2004 on my machine.

How do I import old FCP projects that have mysteriously changed to Linux Executable files? Is it as simple as renaming the files with the.fcp extension?

I had some FCP projects on an old G3 tower that I finally want to finish. I was able to grab everything, media, etc. to my macbook pro but all of the Final Cut Pro actual movies/projects have turned into "linux executable files" that FCP X won't import.
I tried googling this issue but didn't really see any good answers. Would it be as simple as renaming the files with the .fcp extension? I can't recall if my old version (really old) of FCP saves projects as .mov or .fcp files, but I'm assuming I'm not the only person this has happened to.

What version of FCP was this? The project files can probably no longer be opened in the newer version of the OS. You could try adding the .fcp suffix, but I don't think it will help for this. Projects files are .fcp.
Regardless of the version, no legacy FCP projects will import into FCPX.
Media is a different matter. These are probably QuickTime .mov files. If these are appearing as Unix ececutables, they're probably not recoverable either.

Sending empty files using SFTP Adapter

I am trying to send empty files using SFTP adapter. The interface has to send the file whether its empty file or containing data using SFTP adapter. I am using BizTalk Server 2013 R2. Is it a bug or the hotfix is already there for this issue.

The issue here is not your SFTP not able to send 0KB files, but the file receive adapter that is receiving the file. The file adapter deletes 0 KB files and doest not transmit it further.
If u have a ftp receive for example you should be able to send 0KB files.
If u have a custom file receive adapter , is it handling 0KB files ?

Unable to Poll files in SFTP Location using FTP Adapter

Hi SOA Experts,
I have an issue like soa composite is unable to poll files.
I have done the below configuration .
1.created the jndi by giving values to properties host name,port,username,password,usesftp.
2. refered the same jndi in composite.
3. After deployment it is not pulling files from sftp location.
From the logs I came to know it is able to list files for the directory mentioned in the composite.The permissions are read-write.
I am using sftp server credentials were the server is running on windows.
But unable to pick it by composite and no instances can be seen in em console.
Can any one can provide solution ?

1. Open your FTP Server ( ex:- Filezilla Server :- navigate to the users :- under the users you will find the shared folder.
Check the fields . Now it should work

I don't have the seeburger sftp adapter at hand at the moment, but asfar as I remember, this does not specifically have an empty-file handling option like the standard ftp adapter.
So to stop emtyp files from being written, guess would need to handle this at the mapping level. For example, check for target creation criteria in the header node in mapping. If the creation criteria is not met, you can throw an error in mapping.
You may also incorporate this condition in your Receiver determination. In this case, if the condition is not satisfied, no receiver is determined in PI.

Anyone know if the long standing duplicate files problem with File History has been fixed yet?

There are loads of public threads about the duplicate files problem
with Windows 8/8.1 File History backup system.
From all the threads I've looked at, there seems to be no solution,
and no acknowledgement from MS that they can even repro the problem
(which surprises me considerably as there are so many people who
notice the problem).
Is anyone aware of whether MS (may) have fixed this for Win10?
Are MS aware of the problem and if they're able to fix it?

along with many millions of others need it to work really well. You
are not alone.
When they implement something that doesn't work, and even if it did work doesn't do what's needed - and/beyond that/ they remove features people DO need (such as the GUI for Windows Backup), I see no wrong in advising people of the way things
really are.
File History essentially does work - it's saved me a couple of times
in the past couple of weeks. It just has a highly annoying habit of
creating 100% duplicates of some files for no apparent reason. If MS
have fixed that I won't have any known complaints about it.
If you don't like it, you don't have to use it. I generally like it, I
just want to see that its fixed.

I planned to install 2 Node Oracle 10g RAC on RHEL and I planned to use Linux File system itself for OCR,Voting Disk and datafiles (no OCFS2/RAW/ASM)
I am having SAN storage.
I would like to know how do i create shared/cluster partitions for OCR,Voting Disk and Datafiles (common storage on SAN).
Do i need to install any Linux cluster file system for creating these shared partitions (as we have sun cluster in solaris)?
If so let me know what versions are supported and provide the necessary Note / Link

Idoc to file problem.......... IDOC lost

i have a idoc to file problem,
the idoc is sent from R/3 to XI,
the problem is IDOC is sent from R/3,
it didnt reach to XI.....
i have checked.......we05 in R/3, it gives a status 3,
then i checked SM58 in R/3, it shows nothing,
when i check in idx5 in XI, theres no trace of that idoc....and no trace of the scenario run in SXMB_MONI
pls help, where can i trace the idoc.....

If Not Do The Following Steps:
Step1:
>> Give Your Existing Idoc Number.
Step 2:
>> Basic Type is Your Message type.
 Ex: MATMAS05 or CREMAS05.
Step 3:
>> In Your Existing MATMAS05 or CREMAS05 Structure say EDIDC,
>> You Should Fill Your Mapped Entries In Data Structure of EDIDC.
>> So that Those Fields Gets Framed as Segments.
Step 4:

PDFs rendered on AIX and Linux different file sizes

Hello,
If I render a PDF on AIX my file size is around 400K. If I render the the same PDF on Linux, the file size is around 1.2MB. I am using the same XDP and XML file. I am using LiveCycle Forms v7.
Any ideas?

Just found out that the file size is larger on Linux when I apply usage rights with Reader Extensions.
