LIS: How to put an additional selection-field into sel-screen

Hi LIS-Gurus,
I have a self-defined information structure with a method for list enhancement. In this method I want to calculate values. So far so good.
The problem is: for the calculation I need a date. The user should be able to enter this date in the selection-screen of the standard-analysis (MCSI).
Is there any chance to define a parameter or select-option, that can be readout in the method? The field should only be used to allow the user to enter a date. There must be now selection in any kind for that field...

Imposing selection fields into a screen field

Hello Frnds,
I have a FM in which I am calling a report. That report doesn't have any selection screen but it calls a user defined screen in which i have an input field PARTNER (KNA1-KUNNR).
           In my FM i have import parameter as partner same type as in the report screen field and an export parameter sy-subrc.
            Now my issue is I wanna impose the import parameter partner to the screen field in my report which is called. How could I do that?
          I am using a submit statement to call the report from the FM.
Please feel free to ask 4 more details or 4 any other questions...!
Note: I do not have standard selection screen for my report. I have to impose the FM import parameter to the screen field in the report.

stored procedure is nothing but a named PL/SQL block
so you can do it like this see below example

How to put data in MESCOD field of in IDOC Control Record ?

We have a File->XI->IDOC scenario.
Two different types of files have to been mapped to the same IDOC (WMMBXY).
We want to use the field MESCOD in order to differ idocs from one type file or the other.
In the Message Mapping, I have the EDI_DC40 record dissabled, to permit that it is fulfilled by XI.
How can I put information in MESCOD field?. Is the only solution to enable EDI_DC40 record ? (I don't like this solution because automatic fulfilled is lost ).
I've seen that a Header Mapping exists in Receiver Agreement, but this is only available to Sender&Receiver.

If you have not set the Apply Control Record Values from
Payload indicator in the receiver IDoc adapter, the
fields are filled as follows:
now you see which fields are taken from ID
so enable EDI_DC40 and just fill MESCOD
this will be much easier than any other routing
(if such exists if you disable it)

How to know no of selected fields in Table Control in at the first iteratio

Hi ABAP Gurus,
I have developed screen with Table control. At one particular scenario, I need to
display an error message if all the displayed records are not selected. So I need to know the No of selected fields on the Table control in the very first iteration of the Loop in PAI event. Is there any Function Module/Method or any other way to Achieve this.

You can simply count them, but looping the table and checking the "select" flag.
data: records type i.
data: counter type i.
clear counter.
Loop at itab where sel = 'X'.
counter = counter + 1.
endloop.
describe table itab lines records.
if records <> counter.
message e001(00) with 'Not all records were selected'.
endif.

Change Selection fields into Multiple Selection

I would like to know if it is possible to change a standard Selection fields box into a Multiple Selection box.
Example:
In VA05, I have this (Further Sel.criteria > PO number)
I want it to be like that (like in VA05N)
Therefore, when I click on the Multiple Selection button, I have all the standard options as shown below:

    as u said that we can select check boxes while recording, but my problem is i'm using this procedure in creating STO delivery in VL10B, here we enter ship-to party and date as input and in second screen we click on show/hide documents button and after that we check the STO document no. which was created for our suppl. plant on given date and press background button, so here my problem is STO document no. place is getting changed every time.

IT WORKS, BUT THE FIELD P39_FKART isn't filled . It shows the value of the table ZUMFA (only one value) in form of list.
I've tried with :P39_FKART or &P39_FKART. It doesn't work.

I think it should work when you do it like:
zsql:=zsql||:P39_FKART||' from scmoper.ZUMFA WHERE
Oh wait, now I see what you are doing...
You shouldn't do the select INTO in the buildup of your dynamic sql, but where you use it. I'm not sure of the syntax, but a quick search on Google or the forum should help you along. It should be something like EXECUTE IMMEDIATE zsql INTO :P39_FKART;

I need to add a new field namely 'PLFAZ' of table 'PROJ' to my dynamic selection screen, hence i tried to achieve it through selection field modification of the logical database PSJ in SE36, but my problem is ,the field is not displayed in the dynamic selection screen even after assigning function group and checking the preselect option against the field, plz suggest what is to be done to display the field in the dynamic selection screen.

VL10A - adding selection field in standard screen

I have added two selection fields in General data tab like "Original Delivery date & Latest Delivery date".
In Resulting report Layout all data is displayed except these two new columns ("Original Delivery date & Latest Delivery date"). Please guide me where should I change the code to get the data in these two new columns. Any help is highly appreciated.

How to put 58 columns of data into an array in one shot?

I have a set of data with 58 columns and 5000 rows. However, I need to find offset for all the elements in this 5000x58 set of data. Is there an easier way to put all the data (offset) into an array in one shot other than using build array function? This is because if I use the build array function, I will need to separate all the data into 58 columns by indexing them. This is too time consuming.

You need to explain in much more detail, because your problem is not clear.
Is this a 2D array with 58 columns and 5000 rows?
What is your definition of "offset"?
Where does the offset value come from?
Is "offset" it the same for each row (or column) or does it depend on the data?
What is the definition of "one shot"?
Why would you need to seperate all the data into columns in order to use build array?
It it "too time consuming" to write the program or is the execution slower than expected?
Is the final output a 1D or 2D array or something else?
Please attach a VI containing a small 2D array diagram constant with typical data, then show us what kind of output you would expect after applying the described operation.
