List All Collection ID's

Is there a canned report that lists all Collection ID's in my SCCM 2012 environment? If not, which attributes would be use to create a query showing all collection id's?

There is also a builtin report called "All Collections"which will list all collections in the site and their collectionIDs.

  • Report to list all computers and their collection membership

    Hi
I am currently working on a site where direct membership is used for collections but a need has arisen to move to AD Queries.
I have created a simple powershell script that creates groups based on the contents of a csv file and another script which populates this with the members listed in another csv file.
To help speed up the process is there a way to generate a report that lists ALL Computers and their Collection membership?
The only reports I seem to find that are built in require an inputted value of either computer name of collection ID. I simply need a report that lists Computer Name is column 1 and Collection Name in column 2 for all computers and all collections.
    Many Thanks,
    Matt Thorley

  • PS-script that can list all clients in a specific collection and if possible, point out direct members...

    CM2012Sp1Cu1
Need a powershell-function that can list all the clients in a specific collection, and then somehow define which of them are direct members. The most important thing for me is to list all the members but it would also be great if I could know which ones are
    direct / query members.
Very grateful for all the help I can get!

Here is a very simple example via PowerShell and WMI. It requires your collection id, site code and site server as input. It writes as output the collectionmember plus query, or direct.

    $SiteServer = ""
    $CollectionMembers = Get-WmiObject -Class SMS_FullCollectionMembership -Namespace root/SMS/site_$($SiteCode) -ComputerName $SiteServer -Filter "CollectionId='$CollectionId'"

  • Can you sort ibookshelf books by collections and list all of the books in each collection?

can you sort ibookshelf books by collections and list all of the books in each collection?

The collection changes a little by the criteria you use to view the books, and you can view them by Title, Author, and Category. So, yes, you can.
The default view is Book view. On the upper right part of the page, you'll see four white blocks - that's the icon for book view. The icon on the right has three white lines; that's where you find Title, Author, and Category view. You can't create folders in any view.

The above one is SMS collection query. For SQL report you may try the below query:
    query for IE 10
    select SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name,SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client
    from SMS_R_System inner join SMS_G_System_SoftwareFile on SMS_G_System_SoftwareFile.ResourceID

    = "iexplore.exe" and SMS_G_System_SoftwareFile.FilePath
    like "%prog%internet%" and SMS_G_System_SoftwareFile.FileVersion
    like "10.%"
    query for IE 9
    select SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name,SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client
    from SMS_R_System inner join SMS_G_System_SoftwareFile on SMS_G_System_SoftwareFile.ResourceID

Is it possible to list all of the master pages along with the site URLs in my web application? There are thousands of site collections and subsites etc.
    Thanks so much.

Apologies for formatting, reply on iPad sucks.... Use this example: http://iedaddy.com/2011/11/sharepoint-information-architecture-diagram-using-powershell-and-visio/ But in the powershell for the select, include the MasterURL property so it will write
it out to the .csv file as well. I assume you are just looking for what are your active master pages per site are....won't report if you've hard coded the values into individual pages as it is just querying site properties.

  • Query to list down collections for a period- Invoice No and Incoming Pymt.

    Hi,
I have used the following query to list down all collection made during a particular period:
SELECT T1.CardName, T0.DocDate as 'Posting Date', T0.DocNum as 'AR Invoice Number',
+T3.SlpName, T0.DocTotal as 'AR Invoice Total', T0.DocTotalFC as 'AR Invoice Total FC', +
+T1.DocDate as 'Payment Date', T1.DocNum as 'Incoming Payment Number ',T1.CashSum as 'Cash +Amount', +
+T2.CheckNum as 'Check Number', T2.CheckSum as 'Cheque Amount', T1.TrsfrSum as 'Bank Transfer Amount'
    +FROM OINV T0 INNER JOIN ORCT T1 ON T0.ReceiptNum = T1.DocEntry LEFT JOIN RCT1 T2 ON +
    +T1.DocNum = T2.DocNum +
    +Left Join OSLP T3 ON T3.SlpCode= T0.SlpCode +
    where T1.DocDate >=[%0] and T1.DocDate <=[%1] and T0.U_AT_SLST = 'Local' ORDER BY
    T0.CardName,T1.DocDate
But there are certain Incoming payments which do not appear in the report although it satisfies all the clauses as per the query.
Can anyone comment on what could be the issue?
    Regards.

    Hi Vishal
Did you retype the query in the thread, or copy and paste? Try changing the Where and the Order By references to the same tables as the Select portion as follows:
SELECT T1.CardName, T0.DocDate as 'Posting Date', T0.DocNum as 'AR Invoice Number',
+T3.SlpName, T0.DocTotal as 'AR Invoice Total', T0.DocTotalFC as 'AR Invoice Total FC', +
+T1.DocDate as 'Payment Date', T1.DocNum as 'Incoming Payment Number ',T1.CashSum as 'Cash +Amount', +
+T2.CheckNum as 'Check Number', T2.CheckSum as 'Cheque Amount', T1.TrsfrSum as 'Bank Transfer Amount'
    +FROM OINV T0 INNER JOIN ORCT T1 ON T0.ReceiptNum = T1.DocEntry LEFT JOIN RCT1 T2 ON +
    +T1.DocNum = T2.DocNum +
    +Left Join OSLP T3 ON T3.SlpCode= T0.SlpCode +
    where T0.DocDate >=%0 and T0.DocDate <=%1 and T0.U_AT_SLST = 'Local' ORDER BY
    T1.CardName,T0.DocDate
    Was - where T1.DocDate >=%0 and T1.DocDate <=%1 and T0.U_AT_SLST = 'Local'
    SB - where T0.DocDate >=%0 and T0.DocDate <=%1 and T0.U_AT_SLST = 'Local'
    Was - ORDER BY T0.CardName,T1.DocDate
    SB - ORDER BY T1.CardName,T0.DocDate
Unless your SELECT was pointing to the wrong tables, but I think the problem is with the Where and Order By.
    Kind regards

  • TFS 2010: Query over all Collections and Team Projects

is it possible to generate a query which queries all collections and team project on a TFS?
For example if I want to know all work items assigned to me. Actually I can only query over a collection and not over the complete TFS.
    How can I do this?
    Thanks,

    Hi Mat,
    Thank you for your post.
You may need write a TFS API to list all team project collections in server. For detail information, you can refer to Taylaf's blog

  • List All artists....please?

    Hey.
Great as it is to now have all my music on one little player why does some of iTunes seem less organised or adaptable than my old phone's music interface?
Is there any way I can get iTunes to list all the artists seperately, including those that appear on compilations, in the 'Artists' column?
That would be a start and then I'll move on to why does it break up albums that are by the same artist but may 'feature' another on some songs?
    Thanks.

Is there any way I can get iTunes to list all the artists seperately, including those that appear on compilations, in the 'Artists' column?
*Edit > Preferences... > Advanced*, remove tick from *Group compilations when browsing*.
    <hr>
    *HowTo: Grouping Tracks Into Albums*
Excuse the long post, but hopefully covering all the bases (that I can think of) will help you fix the other issues you are likely to run into as you try to organise your iTunes library.
    *Use an album friendly view*
iTunes will let you sort music on many columns, some of which are unlikely to group albums together or put the tracks in their normal order. The most useful order for editing the library is probably *Album by Artist*. If you're not already there, select the list view and click on the column heading for Artist until it reads Album by Artist.
    *One cover, too many tracks*
The iPod (and iTunes to a lesser extent) conflates two or more albums with the same title, most obviously with *Greatest Hits*. On the iPod this can result in one album acting as a combination of two or more. Selecting any cover gives all the tracks of all albums with the same title. The workaround for this "Greatest Hits" bug is to give each album a unique title - I tend to go for *Album - Album Artist* as this reads clearly in the iTunes browser. Alternatively you could use the wording as it appears on the cover or append different numbers of spaces for each different album. Somewhat oddly, setting different values for Sort Album doesn't work.
*Album not with others by same artist*
iTunes relies on the Gracenote CDDB database when identifying CD's. This often marks collections or anthologies of an artist's work as a compilation. In iTunes, however, the compilation flag has the logical function of grouping together tracks with the same album name, but different artists on each track, e.g. "Now That's What I Call Metal 666!". These compilations are then all grouped together at the end of cover flow. Most of us however, would expect "Greatest Hits" albums to be listed with the other albums by the same album artist. For albums which are essentially by a single album artist or group it is best to set the appropriate value for the album artist and clear the compilation flag.
    *One album, too many covers*
For true compilations, where each track is by a different artist, the answer is to set the compilation flag to true and enable the iTunes preference to *Group compilations when browsing*. Otherwise tracks which list guest artists will be treated as separate items. Filling in the Album Artist field is enough to link things in iTunes. Sadly, however, the iPod ignores the Album Artist field when grouping albums so this is only a partial solution. You can simply mark the entire album as a compilation which seems to be the way iTMS handles it, however that's not an ideal fix. Short of waiting for Apple to address this issue (and as far as I can tell it goes back to the 1st gen. of iPods) we need a workaround. What I do is to put any additional artist info. in square brackets after the song name. E.g. *Track \[Feat. Guest\]* and then set *Artist=Album Artist* for each track. For anthologies where the Album Artist is credited as part of another group, e.g. for Cream tracks on an Eric Clapton anthology, I use *Track \[As Group\]*. For a track where the main Album Artist doesn't receive a credit, e.g. the first track of the Slim Shady LP credited to Jeff Bass, I just set the track name to *Track \[Guest\]* while still setting the artist to the album artist. N.b. I use square brackets to indicate this is not part of the actual song title and also use this style for Mix/Live/Bonus info.
*One album, still too many covers*
iTunes may split albums into two or more sections if some tracks from the album have different values for Artist, Album Artist, Album, No. of Discs or Part of a Compilation. Tiny differences such as trailing spaces, accented characters or variants of symbols can sometimes be quite hard to spot. The iPod is also more sensitive to case variations and may split or reorder an album that looks okay in iTunes. Normally overtyping the desired value for each shared field will complete the grouping of the album into one entity. Occasionally, however, this method seems to fail. When this happens I've found that you can force every field to update properly by adding some extra text - e.g. a trailing X, which once applied seems to complete the joining of the tracks into one album. Once this has happened the extra data can be removed and the album should remain properly grouped.
*Tried that, there are STILL too many covers!*
The Sort Artist, Sort Album & Sort Album Artist fields can be used to override the normal sort order. For example iTunes automatically drops leading articles (a/an/the) so "The Beatles" are arranged under "B" instead of "T". Occasionally different tracks from the same album can have different values in these sort fields which can also break up the grouping. Making the sort columns visible in iTunes can help with spotting & correcting such problems.
    *One cover for multi-disc album*
Multi-disc albums are often listed as *Album (CD1)* for CD 1, *Album (CD2)* for CD 2 etc. To display these properly using just one cover, each disc should have the correct *Disc X of Y* values set, and then the entire album should be given the single title Album. Being somewhat obsessive I also renumber the tracks sequentially, working backwards from the last track (so that no two tracks ever have the same number) until I reach disc 1. BTW You can still give the individual discs different artwork should it be relevant so that the correct artwork will be displayed as the album progresses.
    *One artist, many names*
With some artists, particularly classical composers, you should be aware of alternative representations of their names. E.g. 2Pac vs. Tupac. The menus will work best if for each artist you standardise on just one form of their name. E.g. make a choice between Mozart, W.A. Mozart or Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and then apply it consistently. For classical music I tend also to use the Composer as the Artist & Album Artist and either discard the performer details or place these into the Comments field.

  • Snow Leopard finder doesn't list all files on Windows 7 volumes

From my Macbook Pro (10.6.8), I can connect to my Mac Pro, while it is running Windows 7 in Boot Camp, in order to access the Mac Pro's 6 volumes (1 Boot Camp, 5 Mac volumes). This is using SMB via Finder's 'Connect to server…' on an Airport network.
However, Finder never displays all the files and folders on any of the Mac volumes it connects to through Windows 7. It seems to show approximately the first 18-9 files and folders, and then nothing. The same applies when I open a nested folder — it doesn't list all of its contents.
Any ideas as to what's causing this and how I can fix it? I have searched all over but can't find any answers yet, so I'm hoping someone here has seen this before.

Thanks for the reply, but I do have the Restore Windows box checked (see below). And the Resume features info (cnet link) only addresses how to turn the feature off, either selectively or globally. I'm simply looking for the functionality that I had with Snow Leopard and now seems to be absent. Maybe it's a bug in my Finder.

  • Mac does not list all folders in a SMB share

Hi guys, this is a bit of a weird one and I've tried everything I can think of.
In our house we have a media centre running Windows 7. It has several shares, one of which we'll call folder "X". Folder X opens correctly on the media centre, and any other Windows machine perfectly. Almost every other machine in the house is running OS X 10.6, and one of my housemates today noted that some of the folders inside of folder X were not listed on a Mac. So far we've tested it on 2 Macs and 2 Windows machines, and everytime the Windows machine lists all folders inside of X, where the Mac does not. The weird thing is, it's cutting them out alphabetically, so it's basically from D through to I that are missing, all in all there are 30 (out of 160) folders missing inside of Folder X...here's what I've tried.
    On the Windows 7 machine:
    -Restarted server service
    -Removed Share X and re-added
-Checked share permissions on folder X
-Checked permissions on folder X, propagated to all child folders just in case.
    -Restarted machine after every change.
On the Macs we haven't really tried much as there's not much we can think to change. We've tried Finder, Path Finder (which I'm guessing will be exactly the same), restarting, removing from workgroup and re-adding...I can't think what would cause such a weird problem.
To make things harder we don't know exactly when it started happening but the OSX machines definitely used to list the folders and it happens on more than one mac. which I guess makes me think it's something on the Windows client. The 30 folders are not using any nonstandard characters, some are only a few letters long.
    Ideas on a postcard!?

    Reporting the same problem.
    1. Have Windows 7 MediaCenter with file sharing set up properly (LM+NTLM Authentication allowed and 128-bit encryption disabled in security policies).
    2. Test folder ("C:\income") and all the subfolders' owner is 'Guest', full access is granted for everyone.
    3. Connecting to MediaCenter from MacBook with Finder by pressing Cmd+K and typing smb://ip-addr/income
    4. Finder connects successfully, but some sub-folders and files are not being listed.
    Workaround:
    5. You can open a not-listed folder directly by pressing Cmd+K and typing smb://ip-addr/income/some-invisible-folder
    6. Voila! You're inside invisible folder.
In the meantime, i can see all the sub-folders on a Windows XP client machine, so i can make a conclusion that all of these 'invisible' sub-folders are actually accessible by Finder, but in some reason are just not being listed on Mac.
