List of included fonts in Acrobat9

I have searched for such a list, but no luck. Can anyone tell me where to find it?

There's no single place you get can a list of fonts, but it wouldn't be too hard to generate one. Iterate through all the leaf nodes, and get the font from the computedFormat. I'm thinking something like this would work:
function getFontList(textFlow:TextFlow)
     var leaf:FlowLeafElement = textFlow.getFirstLeaf();
     while (leaf)
          var fontFamily:String = leaf.computedFormat.fontFamily;
// add fontFamily to list if its not already there
          leaf = leaf.getNextLeaf();
If you want to, you could check for InlineGraphicElement and ignore their fontFamily settings.

  • How to search for a font not listed in the Fonts window

I'm unable to create a PDF of an older document built by someone who doesn't work here anymore (so I can't ask how they built it). The PDF starts to generate but it takes longer than usual then right before the last page, it stops and I get a log telling me that it can't generate the PDF because of a problem with a Frutiger-Roman font. We don't use that font so I'm not sure where it would be. Also, when I look in the Fonts pod window, it's not listed.
Is there a way to search a document to find a font that isn't listed in the Fonts pod window?
    Thanks

Sounds like it's coming in with an import, which is probably an image, but could also be a text inset.
I've seen this happen with DWG, DXF, EPS and EPSI imports. I'd expect it to be possible with PDF imports, as well as any formatted text inset.
It could even be an empty string. You can't find any text, but the declaration got triggered anyway.
Most image formats that can include fonts can be opened in Adobe Illustrator. You can then Select > Object > Text Objects and see what's there (or not). If AI throws "some objects have been outlined", you've located the offending file for sure.

  • How to find out the list of includes:

    Hi,
I want to find out the list of includes, hw can I do that..
Suppose: ex: I want to know all the includes starting with zabc* hw can I do it, and one more question, where all the (total) includes will be stored.
    Akshitha.

    Hi akshitha,
    1. We can do that from se38.
    2. in se38, Press Ctrl + F
    3. A new window will come for search.
    4. <b>by pressing 4th button on toolbar, expand the search window.</b>
    5. <b>In "Program Type", enter   :   I   (for include only)
In Program Name" enter    : ZABC*</b>
    6. Execute.

  • How to list all the fonts in an FLA?

    Hello all,
I want to find a way to list all the fonts in my FLA files. I want to see that the developers get the fonts they need before the problems crop up - wild idea, I know. Using the edit/font mapping option seems to only show fonts which are missing or have been re-mapped. How do I get the FLA to give me the name of every font it's holding?

Not the answer you want, but the closest you're going to find:
Open the Movie Explorer (Window/Movie Explorer). Select the "A" button at the top of the panel and deselect all others. This gives you a list of all text in the FLA, with the font listed at the end of each line.

  • 2 way to retrieve a list of embedded fonts in Flex 4 - which one is better?

    Hi all,
I am currently aware of 2 different methods to retrieve a list of currently available embedded fonts on the local system
    var embedededFonts : Array = Font.enumerateFonts(false)
    var appSystemManager : SystemManager = FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication.owner;
    var embeddedFonts : Array = appSystemManager.embeddedFontList();
What is best way to retrieve a list of embedded fonts out of those two approaches?

"better" in what way... performance? reliability?

  • Font not found when opening file and not able to resolve, but is listed in the fonts drop down list?

Hi, i just downloaded some files from a friend and he sent me a link to download the fonts. I did so and 98% of the fonts work, but there are two fonts i am struggling with.
When i open the file i get the font missing warning and it asks me to resolve the fonts. I cannot find the appropriate font in the drop down list so i click 'don't resolve' and start to edit the file. i then come across some text that has missing fonts and i am able to highlight the text and change the text to the appropriate font using the type tool and the font I am looking for is in the drop down list.
The fonts that aren't working are:
    Franchise Bold and BebasNeue
The problem is there are multiple separate incidents where these fonts occur, and going through changing each one manually would take a lot of time.
Is there something i can do to fix them all at once?
    Thanks,
    Harry

I do not see either font  in the list you show.  I see Bebas Neue xxx but no Bebas Neue without any extra style. Try Bebas Neue at Download Bebas Neue Font - Thousands of fonts to download for free

  • To Do Lists not included in iCal??!!

Am I missing something or are To Do lists not included in the iPhone version of iCal? If that is true why is this so? I will be including this on another list of things I don't understand about the software implementation in iPhone (no way to back up Notes for instance.)
    Dan Carter

It is well documented that the iPhone does not support ToDo lists, nor does it sync notes. Notes can be emailed, just not synced.
It is very possible that this will be corrected in a future software upgrade, but as for now neither is possible.

  • Assignments for InCopy don't include fonts?

I am uncertain how InDesign and InCopy are handling fonts. After reading on Adobe.com about InCopy, I thought that using InDesign to send an assignment (an icap-file) via email, it would include all needed files (including fonts), because according to Adobe, the receiver has to worry about nothing, he opens the assignment in InCopy, fonts load automaticaly, all done. But after downloading the demo, some testing and searching on the internet for more information, it seems I was wrong and the receiver must have all needed fonts already installed on his computer or keep them in a "document fonts" folder right next to the icap-file. Is it not possible to include the needed fonts in the icap-file or am I doing it wrong? Is there a box somewhere that needs to be checked for the fonts to be included in the icap-file?
    Thanks for any help.

No. It doesn’t work that way.
Everyone in this workflow needs to have the same fonts installed.

  • My ipads and iphone are listed and included in my 5 devices in iTunes.  But it should only be computers (my desktop and laptop).  If I deauthorize them, so that I can add another laptop, how to I keep the music/purchases from itunes on them?

I would like to add another laptop to my authorized devices in iTunes store.  But it says I have 5 devices already.  4 of these devices are actually iphones, ipads or itouch.  I am afraid to deauthorize them so I can add a laptop.  It will take the music/apps away, won't it?  How do you include an itouch/ipad/iphone in your iTunes account without listing it as an authorized device?  And where is the '10 devices' coming from?  vs. 5?  Very confused
We need to use the following devices with the same iTunes id:
2 laptops (soon to be three)
    1 desktop
    2 ipads
    2 iphones
    2 itouches
    Is this possible?
To make things more complicated, a few of these devices will also use a DIFFERENT apple id for the cloud/mobile me.
But we all use the same iTUNES id for apps/ music in the family.
Thanks so much for your help!

There is no list of authorized computers.  Where do you see a list?
You must be talking about something other than authorization.  Please clarify.

  • Getting list of used fonts in TextFlow

    Hi!
I'm wondering how i can get a list of fonts used in a TextFlow - especially usefull, when working with embedded fonts loaded
    at runtime.
The idea is to be able when loading new content into textflow, to preload the used fonts before the text is shown.
Any suggestions? - looking at the API, i have not been able to come up with any solution.
    Kindly regards

  • I want to design some products for resale and I want to know if I can use the included Fonts

I want to design some products for resale and I want to know if I can use the included Photoshop Fonts and Images or do I have to pay additional licensing fees?  Very new to this and just looking for some basic information or a link to specifics.  Most of what I'm searching for brings up content for publishing and I'm really looking for information about reselling items in a product line.  For example Greeting Cards, Signs etc...  Thanks so much!

As for fonts, you don't need to do anything as long as you don't try to sell the actual font files. In print or the screen your fine to do as you want. Most fonts include a license EULA for you to read when installing them anyway.
As for images, that may be a different story, it will depend on the image. If there is a file that accompanies the image that states you can do as you please, that fine, but other wise, assume the image is copyrighted and require permission to use.
Some programs provide clipart that is for public use this clicpart can be printed and sold. But as with the fonts, you can not sell the clipart files themselves.
In the EULA that accompanies the software, it should state what can be done with any clipart or fonts that are included with the software.
If you are still in doubt, contact the company and verify it.

  • Abap Lists - Printing - defining font and CPI and applying to printed text

    Hi,
I am trying to define some forms for matrix printing. I should change the font type, and CPI.
    We will print ABAP Lists.
    I see my fonts (courier, 100, 12CPI, Prnt.Ctrl SF005) are defined in SE73.
In SPAD - device type (choose spec. one) u2013 Print Controls (tab) I can see SF005, marked u201EDirectu201C column, as well as u201EHexadecimalu201C. Control Character Sequence is 1B6B001B4D121B57001B461B35.
I can see 31 more SFxxx Print controls here.
How do I apply specific Print Controls (SF005) from this list to a printed document? (I assume this is the list of available prnt.ctrls that can be used for printing, but how do I "select" specific ones and apply them to document print?)
How do I choose u201ECOL0N: Color off, normal fontu201D (intensified OFF u2013 I heard that sap print in bold by default)?
    Thanks in advance,
    cheers,
    Nenad
P.s. u2013 in printer settings the default font is Coourier 10, 12CPI, draft output. If I change this settings on printer directly, no effect is applied on printed documents... Printing from ECC 6.0
Edited by: Nenad Nikolic on Oct 26, 2010 4:49 PM - details...

    hi again,
    more info:
In Formats (Z_fakt1) - Formats (tab): u201EPrinter initializationu201C, I can see some predefined settings, but it is copied from some IBM printer, and I wonder is it correct. There is nothing about font type:
    #reset
    \e\0x40
    select US-ASCII character set
    \e\0x52\0x00
    set line spacing 6 LPI
    \e\0x32
set page length to 12 inch (=72 lines at 6 LPI)
    \e\0x43\0x48
    cancel bottom margin
    \e\0x4F
    set left margin to 0
    \e\0x6C\0x00
    select draft quality
    \e\0x78\0x00
    select non-proportional spacing
    \e\0x70\0x00
    cancel condensed printing
    \0x12
    disable double-width printing
    \e\0x57\0x00
    select 10 CPI
    \e\0x50
Result here is: 11CPI. Bold. Looks like "Times New Roman"
The exact copy from IBM printer is used for another format (Z_fakt2), nothing is different except:
    select 12 CPI
    \e\0x4D
Result here is: 10CPI. Bold. I am under BIG impression that the font type is different. But it is possible the font looks different just due to a size difference. Looks like "Courier New"
In both cases I print predefined text with same output device, same device type.
When I set 15CPI (0x67) u2013 I still get 10CPI, just the font looks more plain, more "draft" then before - like once in DOS. I am certain that these font type is definitely different then before (for example, here "W" have parallel endings). These fonts are even more suitable for these reports...
Shouldn't the fonts be SMALLER and more of them in 1 inch (15 characters per inch) now then 10CPI (10 character per inch - less characters to fill 1 inch)??
    If I set 1CPI - shouldn't there be just 1 big character on 24,5mm?
When I delete all entry (except # reset \e\0x40) from "Printer initialization" for one Format, the print output looks exact as before deleting (and saving)?!
I would like to set Courier font, (really 12CPI), plain text, no bold.
Where should I set this options?
Thanks and sorry for long input, but the more info you have, the more insight ou have in my problem...
    Cheers,
    N

  • MPN Material - Source list not included issue

    Hi,
I am trying to create a purchase order for a material which has a MPN material # specified in the source list. When I create the purchase order, I get the error "Source not included in list despite source list requirement".
I do not get the error when I remove the MPN material # from the source list.
I looked at MM03 for MPN material # and it looked correct.
    Please help.
    Nicky

    Hi
There are 2 settings for source list requirment mandatory at PO.
    1) Material Master record > Purchasing view
    2) IMG>MM>Purchasing>Source list>Define at plant level
if the setting is active then you have maintain the source list for that particular material.
if the above setting are not there and still you are getting error then you have to check if any enhancements done .
    Hope it helps
