List of Table names
Hello everybody,
I want to build a select list with all my LOV tables, that I've created for my project.
In the SQL Developer, I can use the following SQL statement:
SELECT table_name FROM tables WHERE table_name LIKE '%LOV%';
Now I get all tables, that contain "LOV" in their name. But that won't work within Apex. I want to get these table names in a select list. How to do this? Do I have to change sth in the query and where do I have to put it?
Greetings
Holger
Hi,
Have you tried something like:
SELECT TABLE_NAME
FROM ALL_TABLES
WHERE OWNER = '#OWNER#'
AND UPPER(TABLE_NAME) LIKE '%LOV%'
ORDER BY 1Andy

'insert_date' column's content.What do you mean by "column's content". A table can have many rows. Do you want to display all the distinct value for these columns?
Below is the query to get the tables which has columns insert_Date and update_date
select table_name

where column_name ='INSERT_DATE'
or column_name ='UPDATE_DATE'
/You can write a PL/SQL block to retrive the distinct values of INSERT_DATE for these tables
declare
TYPE ref_cur IS REF CURSOR;
insert_date_cur ref_cur;
lv_insert_date DATE;
cursor tables_list IS
select table_name

OPEN insert_date_cur for 'SELECT DISTINCT insert_date from '||cur_tables.table_name;
DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(cur_tables.table_name);
DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('--------------------------------');

FETCH insert_date_cur into lv_insert_date;
EXIT WHEN insert_date_cur%NOTFOUND;
DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(lv_insert_date);
END LOOP;
CLOSE insert_date_cur;
end loop;
end;I haven't tested this code. There might be some errors. Just posted something to start with for you. -
Is there a list of table name and object name? (oCompany.GetBusinessObject)
Hi,
How do I find the objects regarding the tables in SBO?
Example Item Master, I use following statement:
SAPbobsCOM.Items oItem;
oItem = ( SAPbobsCOM.Items ) oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oItems);
I like to find the object for SPP1.
Is there a list of table name and object name?
Thank you,
RuneThank you, Owen,
Yes, I found the table name and method name in SDK Help Center:
On your P/C, click START. Select All programs , SAP Business One > SDK > SDK Help Center. Then select DI API, then DI API Reference. If you scroll down this window you will find all existing classes. You will then find the SpecialPrices and the SpecialPricesDataAreas. All the information required to code is in there. -

List Region with Dynamic Table name
Trying to build a page that is similar to Query Builder. On the left side of my page, I need to populate a list of table names from a SQL statement. Once the list is created, will need to perform some addtional actions when user clicks onthe specific row in the list.
What is the best way to create the list (based on SQL) that will allow me to be call some addtional processing when user clicks on the specific row?
Thanks!" this is the problem
* FROM (g_dso_bic_dofr )AS t1 "<<--- check spaces in here
FROM (g_dso_bic_dofr) AS t1 "<<--- and here
INNER JOIN /bic/pzifremom AS t2
ON t1~/bic/ziparomr = t2~/bic/ziparomr

I think there's the problem, the space behind the parenthesis.

SQL Developer 1.1.0.21.97 Query Builder Table Name List Unsorted
The Query Builder list of table names is unsorted. Should it be alphabetical?
We have a number of outstanding issue for the Query Builder. These will not be updated for the next evaluation release. I agree, alphabetical would be a better approach.

Find SAP table records given a list of tables
Dear all,
I have been given a list of table names that I require to provide a report a total record counts for these table.
given such codes I have can't proceed further as the field symbol that I use is invalid. Please advice how to complete this. Or perhaps any standard system reports to find the total record counts given a specified tables.
here's the code:

TABNAME type TABNAME,
totalrec like sy-dbcnt,

data : wa_dd02l type STANDARD TABLE OF w_dd02l with HEADER LINE.
data : wr_dd02l type w_dd02l.
data : totalrecord like sy-dbcnt.
field-SYMBOLS : <f1> type ANY.
p_tab is a selection field.
select tabname from dd02l into CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE wa_dd02l where tabname in p_tab.
loop at wa_dd02l into wr_dd02l.
assign wr_dd02l-tabname to <f1>.
select count(*) from <f1> into totalrecord.
wr_dd02l-totalrec = totalrecord.
write : wr_dd02l-tabname, wr_dd02l-totalrec.
ENDLOOP.
<f1> being a field symbol is not recognize as in ABAP dictionary. Here's where I can't proceed.. dear gurus please help.

How to get a list of tables in an application
In version 6.0 I could do a simple join on views CI_TABLE_DEFINITIONS and CI_APPLICATION_SYSTEMS to get a list of table names given the name of the application system. The requisite columns to perform the join aren't there anymore in version 6i. How does on accomplish this?
Roger,
The link between containers (Folders and Application Systems) and the objects they own is recorded in a different fashion in Designer 6i. There is a new view SDD_FOLDER_MEMBERS that contains this link. It is an intersection between the containers on the one hand and all other PAC objects on the other.
The query you are after is now written as follows:
select tbl.name
, tbl.irid
from ci_application_systems app
, sdd_folder_members fm
, ci_table_definitions tbl
where app.name = 'APP NAME'
and app.irid = fm.folder_reference
and fm.member_object = tbl.irid
order
by tbl.name
Note: if you do not set the workarea context before running this query, you will get rows returned for all versions of the Application System times all versions of the Tables owned by the Application System. You can set the workarea context by executing this statement before executing the query:
begin
jr_context.set_workarea('Workarea Name');
end; -
Obtaining qualifier and table name in describe
Determining qualifier and table name in describe
Is there a way in OCIParamGet() on a statement handle/OCIAttrGet() sequence to determine the qualifier and table name?
Otherwise, how can I get this information?
When doing a join and listing the columns, we would like to be able to list qual.table name, followed by the columns associated with that table.If not with the parameter attributes (whic I haven't checked) you can always use the DescribeAny() to get the information.
If you need I can get you a fairly complete sample for DescribeAny() which demonstrates describing just about every type of schema item.

Catalog and owner remain after setting Overridden Qualified Table Name-2008
Hi all - when using Crystal Reports 10, I could remove the hardcoded catalog and owner (database and owner/schema) for a table or view by setting the "Overridden Qualified Table Name" to be the same as the table or view listed in "Table Name". (This is in the Set Datasource Location, properties of an individual table or view).
When using Crystal Reports 2008, when I set the "Overridden Qualified Table Name", the Catalog and Owner remain. This is causing a problem for the processes that we use to actually run our reports as the reports are trying to be run against the database listed in catalog.
Is there some setting in Crystal Reports 2008 which is needed in order for these hardcoded database names to be removed as they were in Crystal 10?
Thank youHi Sharon, thank you for the reply. I did not verify the database after making the change as this was not necessary in Crystal Reports version 10. I just did that now and reopened the "Set Datasource Location" section and it appears to be the same in that the catalog and owner are still present.
I found this thread - Delete catalog and owner info from tables on ODBC (RDO) report - which is the same question that I have, but it was never answered either.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks! -

[Urgent] List the tables which are in a mapping using OMB ?
Hello,
Does anyone know how I can list the table names which are contained in a mapping by using the OMB language ?
After with this list I'll retrieve the properties of the extraction and loading hints (by using the OMBRETRIEVE command).
Thanks in advance for your help !
Regards,
FlorentHi Florent
Something like the following will retrieve the table operators in a map:
set table_ops [OMBRETRIEVE MAPPING '$mapname' GET TABLE OPERATORS]
As an example of navigating the map using OMB the tcl below will traverse the map (change the mapname variable and run in the context of the module containing the map) - the results are written to a textfile in /tmp/map.txt. You can see how the operators are navigated and the connections queried, each operator is listed and the connected operators.
Cheers
David
set mapname EXAMPLE_17_21
set ops [OMBRETRIEVE MAPPING '$mapname' GET OPERATORS]
set fid [open "/tmp/map.txt" "w"]
