List ofJMS destination in portal--path?
Hi Experts
I am developing Message Driven Baen using JMS concept. In Enterprise Portal, Where can I find the Destinations (List of Topics and Queues) ? Can anyone guide me the path?
Thanks in advance.
Mehul
Hi Mehul,
Not sure about EP but you can view existing JMS destinations and register new ones with the JMS Connector service in the Visual Administrator. Check these links:

Add support for <destination-include directory-path="mydir"/>.
This will process each file ending in ".xml" as an individual <destination-include file-path=""/> element, allowing a web application to define a directory of destination configuration snippets.
Added a new API to ConfigurationFileResolver.java: getFiles(String dir).
This returns a list of XML files contained in this directory relative to the current configuration file.
Updated both the ServletResourceResolver and the LocalFileResolver with implementations.

Material not listed for destination country
Hi Gurus,
i have an error when i create a Sales Order...
"Material TEST not listed for destination country US"
Can anyone help me to fix this error?
regards
KumaraHi Kumaran...
This is clearly the case of Material listing....
This is happening just because for that particular customer/Country you might have made the configuration through material determination that, he can order materials only which is listed to him.
In other words, That customer/Country can only order the materials which is in the list created by you through material determination.
If you desire to add this material to the list... go to Tcode VBO1 (its 'o1" not 'zero 1') and select the type as A001 (Listing). Just check weather the material is listed there.. if not.. add the material to the list.
Hope this help.. Reward if this is informative...
Thanks,

list.Update();
web.AllowUnsafeUpdates = false;
as u see the work flow not selected .
ASkHi,
Please check whether the list name is valid?
Also, it is recommended to debug your code to watch the variables in use, it will help us to collect more information about this issue.
If all the steps executed as expected, I suggest you create a new list and do the test again.
Feel free to reply with the test result.

Where to find the list of administrators on portal??
Hi,
I am trying to resolve an issue related to the login page.
The customer is getting notifications in case any user registers problem loggin in.
The user who fails to log in, uses the 'GET SUPPORT' link provided on the login page. On the support page, he enters the details and submits the request. This request is supposed to reach the portal administrator,but instead,it is going to the inbox of the customer who reported this error. He is getting a notification for the same.
Where is this list of administrators maintained on portal?
How can we edit it?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Aditi SharmaHi,
If you need the list of administrators, then goto portal -> Identity Management tab. Here specify Administrator as the user name in the box provided and press Go. This will show the list of Administrator users in the portal. It will list out all users that have administrator roles assigned to it.
If you want to edit the users, select the user from the list. A tab automatically appears below. Select edit.

List of users of portal per group
Hi all,
I need to make a list of portal users of each group.
Where is the table, procedure, function...etc for that ?
Exist some solution ?
Thanks!!!Search for LDAPSEARCH in metalink. I've seen a stored procedure that one may use to list either users or groups. You have to use both if you want to dump list of groups with users. Optionally there's an LDAPSEARCH command that may be used via command line. Refer to Metalink Note 251776.1. This note will give you syntax on the command line LDAPSEARCH. In order to do this though, you must know the base domain parameters for your portal groups...which you can obtain from the Administrator -> Global Settings -> SSO, and you also must know the password to your orcladmin superuser account that's used to login to the LDAP.
Hope this helps... -

Displaying BPF listing within a SharePoint portal
All,
Are there any standard SAP/BPC webparts that would display a list of reports or business process flows within a SharePoint portal? Currently, I have taken to chopping up the various .js files and embedding them into our portal, but that functionality requires control of the BODY tag and onLoad events. I know I could continue to work around this issue, but ideally an officially supported webpart with BPC functionality would make the long term solution more supportable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.Hi,
Since this issue is more related to SharePoint, I'm moving it to a SharePoint forum:

It's recommended to download and install

Hello There,
I am recording an SAP portal application, whereby the list boxes are recorded twice.
For example: see the code below where during the recording I selected the value from drop down once but this step recorded twice. Moreover, It happens only to the drop down objects only.
Browser("Create Sample Request").SAPPortal("Create Sample Request").SAPFrame("Sales Sample Create -").SAPList("Sample Reason: *").Select "Quality Issue"
Browser("Create Sample Request").SAPPortal("Create Sample Request").SAPFrame("Sales Sample Create -").SAPList("Sample Reason: *").Select "Quality Issue"
Please advise.

How do i get a list of users into portal 9.0.2 using OID
I want to display a list of the users within a portlet.
how do i get the users name and details out of OID, so that i can use then in a PLSQL function.Hi Chris,
first, welcome on SDN!
UMFactory.getInstance().getRoleFactory(roleID).getUserMembers() returns the users which are members of the role, see http://media.sdn.sap.com/html/submitted_docs/60_sp2_javadocs/ume/com/sap/security/api/IRole.html
addGroupMember(...) adds a group.
removeUserMember(...) removes a user from a role.
Corresponding method exist for the groups.
Hope it helps

How to list long file names and paths longer than 260 characters in vbscript?
Hi there,
I have looked in different posts and forums, but couldn't find an answer to my question.
So, here it is... imagine the small piece of code attached below. I need to be able to iterate and rename recursively (I didn't include the recursive part of the code in order to keep things simple) through files and folders in an user selected path. I thought that by using vbscript FileSystemObject I would be able to do so.
Unfortunately, it seems like the Files method does not detect files whose path is larger than the OS 260 (or 256?) character limit. How could I do it so? Please, don't tell me to use something different than vbscripts :-)
Thanks in advance!
Set FSO = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
Set objFolder = FSO.GetFolder(Path)
Set colFiles = objFolder.Files
For Each objFile In colFiles
Wscript.Echo "File in root folder:" & objfile.Name
NextYes, that describes the problem, but not the solution - short of changing the names of the folders. There is another solution. That is, to map a logical drive to the folder so that the path to subfolders and files is shortened. Here is a procedure that offers a scripted approach that I use to map folders with long names to a drive letter and then opens a console window at that location ...
Dim sDrive, sSharePath, sShareName, aTemp, cLtr, errnum
Const sCmd = "%comspec% /k color f0 & title "
Const bForce = True
if wsh.arguments.count > 0 then
sSharePath = wsh.arguments(0)
aTemp = Split(sSharePath, "\")
sShareName = aTemp(UBound(aTemp))
cLtr = "K"
with CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
Do While .DriveExists(cLtr) and UCase(cLtr) <= "Z"
cLtr = Chr(ASC(cLtr) + 1)
Loop
end with
sDrive = cLtr & ":"
Else
sDrive = "K:"
sSharePath = "C:\Documents and Settings\tlavedas\My Documents\Script\Testing"
sShareName = "Testing"
end if
with CreateObject("Wscript.Network")
errnum = MakeShare(sSharePath, sShareName)
if errnum = 0 or errnum = 22 then
.MapNetworkDrive sDrive, "\\" & .ComputerName & "\" & sShareName
CreateObject("Wscript.Shell").Run sCmd & sDrive & sShareName & "& " & sDrive, 1, True
.RemoveNetworkDrive sDrive, bForce
if not errnum = 22 then RemoveShare(sShareName)
else
wsh.echo "Failed"
end if
end with
function MakeShare(sSharePath, sShareName)
Const FILE_SHARE = 0
Const MAX_CONNECT = 1
with GetObject("winmgmts:{impersonationLevel=impersonate}!\\.\root\cimv2")
with .Get("Win32_Share")
MakeShare = .Create(sSharePath, sShareName, FILE_SHARE, MAX_CONNECT, sShareName)
end with
end with
end function
sub RemoveShare(sShareName)
Dim cShares, oShare
with GetObject("winmgmts:{impersonationLevel=impersonate}!\\.\root\cimv2")
Set cShares = .ExecQuery _
("Select * from Win32_Share Where Name = '" & sShareName & "'")
For Each oShare in cShares
oShare.Delete
Next
end with
end sub
The SHARE that must be created for this to work is marked as having only one connect (the calling procedure). The mapping and share is automatically removed when the console window is closed. In the case cited in this posting, this approach could be applied using the subroutines provided so that the user's script creates the share/mapping, performs its file operations and then removes the mapping/share. Ultimately, it might be more useful to change the folder structure, as suggested in the KB article, since working with the created folders and files will still be problematic - unless the drive mapping is in place.Tom Lavedas -

a list used in the singleSelectOne component does not change or set the currency in the list VO (in opposite to the navigation list). So this synchronization needs to be done programmatically. Examples of dependent list of values are available here

Simple name for the portal path
Hello.
Is is possible to setup Apache as to have a simple name for the http:\\servername\pls\etc.etc.etc. address? How do i set this up?
Thx.Thx, but i wanted something like this:
the address
http://<servername>:<portnumber>/pls/portal30/etc.etc.etc.
should be contacted only by typing the following address:
http:/portal
The homepage of Portal should be shown then. I managed it now, but that is not the right way. Normally, when you type the servername, you will see an information page on Apache. I edited that page, so that it redirects in zero seconds to the url where portal is running.
But that is not a real nice way to do it. Any ideas?
