LO Cockpit and which extractor to use

Hello All,
We have several teams implementing data all from within the LO Cockpit. We have noticed a pattern on the different modules. The pattern below is for PP-PI, but holds true for other areas. So this answer should resolve the other areas.
We see there are 3 main areas:
1. 2LIS_04_P_MATNR (Header Info)
2. 2LIS_04_P_COMP (Component)
3. 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL (Operation)
We noticed that ARBPL basically has every field that COMP and MATNR has. Then COMP has every field that MATNR has. So our question is: Why 3 different extractors? Why not just always use ARBPL and when a Header or Component field is need only this extractor has to be modified?

You can do that and its totally dependent upon the requirement.
I havent worked on PP extractors but this is the case with all the areas.
Data source enhancement create performance problems and more the tables are read in CMOD.. more the performance goes bad and also there is a limitation on the number of fields on the data source but I am not sure how much it is....so it is better to have separate data sources logically he way SAP stores it.
Some requirement could be to see all the fields for the item as well as header and if you put everything in one extractor then the number of fields increases by a greate deal.
Also it has to do with the tracking the delta for all the fields......more the number of fields in the extractor...more the lines and complexity of code to track the changes to all those fields for delta...
So I think it was also one of other possible reason to keep things simple.

Hi Srinivas,
The BI Admin Cockpit is a place where you will be able to get all the statistical information about the BI Application, for example
Runtime of queries, DTP's, Infopackages, processes and so on. All this information is based on the Metadata of the BI application.
This will help you analyse the operational and performance related aspects of the BI application and hence help in focusing on the areas which need improvement. The Admin Cockpit is total web enabled and has drilldown features where you can navigate to the underlying process to some extent.
Moreover quite a lot of the information shown in the Admin cockpit is near online as that is built in the architecture.

I just bought a new portable battery. It uses 2 USB ports to charge devices, a 1 amp port and a 2 amp port. My question is which port do I plug my iPhone 5s into and which do I use for my iPad 2?

It's a 10,000 mAh external battery. I got this for traveling and because I go to disneyland a lot. My phone wont last all day there and unlike some people, I would never plug my phone into their outlets (I watched a girls phone spark and practically melt once), their voltage is way too high. I have other batteries, but when I saw that this one can charge the 5s fully 3-5 times, I new it was a must. Online, there were wonderful reviews about it and that it charges the 5s and the iPad 2 wonderfully. However when I opened the package and read the directions it listed that there were 2 USB ports, a 1 amp and a 2 amp and to match your device to the port. Now it's been a while since I've studied about volts, amps, etc. so the first thing I do is google it. I know that the iPhone 5s uses 1 amp and the iPad 2 uses 2 amps, and from what I read, you can use the iPad charger to charge the iPhone (which I didn't know there were conflicts about this, I've always used my iPad charger for my phone). There are a lot of articles with people going back and forth about charging techniques, but I want to make sure I'm not going to damage any of my devices if I plug it into the wrong port.
Any responses will be appreciated as this isn't an area where I am very knowledgeable! Thank you!!!

When i want to install a free app using my apple id [email protected] - it asks me to enter billing details...why is that? :s

And when i try to install it using my icloud id [email protected] , it does give me the option of 'none' in payment method but when i select it, it asks me to first fill in the details only then it would move to the next step.
And i wanted to ask....is it better to use my id the one with [email protected] or [email protected] ?

For a standard account, a valid payment method is required even for free apps.

To Verisign or not to Verisign my Code? (And which do I use?)

I have been using the netscape signing tools to sign my applet using a certificate from Netscape's Certificate Signer (in house). I am able to sign my applets and run them in IE (4.0 and 5.0) on Windows NT 4.0 without any problems. It also runs on Netscape 4.x but it does not have to run on Netscape so it does not need to be considered.
We are considering using a commercial Certificate from Verisign. The one we identified was the "Sun Java Signing Digital ID" using the "Code Signer Pro" package.
1.) Is "Sun Java Signing Digital ID" / "Code Signer Pro" package the right one?
2) Do I now use java's jarsigner tool instead of the signtool I am currently using?
Anyone have problem with that combination or have suggestions, please let me know before we go shell out $695 for this. I want to make sure that I get the right Certificate, not a "dud".

I researched this very thing almost a year ago, and in contact with Verisign they said that they did not support Java code signing yet. They suggested that we talked with Thawte and got their Java code signing certificate. We got it and it worked with the java tools no problem. The certificate was around $200 so $695 sounds a little high. I would try to contact Verisign and ask them to be absolutely sure that the certificate would work with sun's tools.
The only thing that I warn you about Thawte is that they did not contact us after we submitted the paper work to them for the certificate!! So anyone could practically claim to be a legit company and Thawte would give them a certificate!! We sent them a letter alerting them to this so maybe they've cleaned themselves up.

The requirement is to store employee photos so that can be linked to Image Container used in Who's Who application of ESS.

if u want to make your task simple just use default documents repository a type of cm repository as also said by prem.

Compatible Wireless and USB Printer Lists using AirPort Extreme

Long night researching this issue. I bought a new AirPort Extreme (802.11n) yesterday and I LOVE IT. Very fast and no lag whatsoever. Then I tried to setup our printer via the USB port and BAM - issues.
Here is a short summary of what I learned (thanks to all the guys who posted a lot of this info on separate posts)
- Unfortunately not all USB printers are compatible with AirPort base stations. - The AirPort's USB port does not support the "advanced" printer functions, like scanning, copying or faxing, of multi-function printers.

I believe most retail printers that use Postscript, PCL3, PCL4, PCL5 and PCL6 interfaces should work.
I learned the hard way that printers that use the "HP LIDIL" interface must be connected to the computer directly and will not work via the AirPort Extreme USB port.

Remember that when you attach a USB printer to the AirPort, the AirPort will perform the function of a Print Server. As you can imagine, if the server cannot locate the printer (for whatever reason), it will treat it as unavailable and not attempt to share it out.
However, like you expect, you wouldn't have to restart a dedicated print server, and thus, you shouldn't have to do the same with the AirPort. Of course, anything is possible.
I would suggest a couple of things to see if they would help: 1) Even though you have a single printer attached, I would suggest in investing in a powered USB hub. Plug the hub into the USB port first, and then, the printer into the hub. You can then power cycle the printer as required. 2) Completely remove the printer and associated printer drivers that were installed and reinstall it.

Hello mlazaretti. Vacation time is awesome. (Especially a road trip!) Since you will be going out for two weeks, you never know if having extra data may come in handy. I highly recommend switching to the next tier up so this way you have more data. This way it is only $10.00 more versus $15.00, and you dont have to worry about overages. Then change back at the start of the next billing cycle.

This post was about having updated the primary email address on an iTunes account via a computer - if you do that you might need to log out of the account on an iPad by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in with the updated version of the account for that email address change to be recognised on your iPad. If you don't log out and back in then an iPad (or iPhone or iPod Touch) might continue to show the old version of the iTunes account id.

You cannot download the same Apps that you have on your iPhone. They are two seperate stores.
The store you have on your iPhone is the same for any iDevice (iPad, iPhone and iPod)
The store on your MacBook is only for Macs.

Are you trying to print through the airport express wirelessly or the built in wireless of the lexmark? If you want to use the airport express, there is no need to mess with the wireless printing on the lexmark at all. The airport express will be easy to set up, all the wireless setups through the printers are a pain.

It could be that someone has accessed your AppleID/iCloud account with out authorization. Or it could be that you forgot to remove find my iPhone form a phone that your previously owned.
Change your Apple ID password.
