Loaded movie is not cropped

I created a first movie 750 x 235.
Objects in this clip are often larger than the final document bascialy sticking out of the scene throughout the movie
I then created a second document "main page" that will be hosting the first clip.
I created a content frame 750 x 235 to host (position) my SWF file and used the loadmovie function.
PROBLEM:
Everything is showing, even the off screen elements, size is not limited to what I see when I preview publishing. Size reaching 5000 x 3500!
What can I do?

Do I do that in the first 750 x 235 movie when it's in the fla format?

Load Movie, FLV not showing up

I'm publishing to Flash Player 8 from CS3. I have a MC placed
on main timeline that loads an external MC onto level 10 of the

The external mc, "video60.swf" is linked to an FLV file. The
FLV, SWF and the "AC_RunActiveContent.js" are definitely uploaded
to the web server. When I preview in Flash locally it all works
fine. When I open the file locally in a browser (same result in
three browsers), it works fine. When I go to the URL, "video60.swf"
loads (I see type in the mc), but I do not see the video.
Could this be a server issue? Any other possibilities?
Need a solution quickly, of course.

hmmm....nothing obvious jumping out for either of us then.
Someone else might know something there... but I'm stumped.
All I'm left with is what I'd try to do to track it down (I
haven't tried googling, so that would be first...but I guess you
already tried that.) Here's what I'd check.
What happens if you (just for testing) load the video60.swf
directly into the html page .... i.e. not into the other swf.
Beyond that I would try some trace code and possibly a try
catch block around the contentPath setting and play methods. Use
FlashTracer plugin in firefox to see what comes gets traced.
Another alternative is the xray component to see whats
happening.
Because things load much quicker from local it may be some
event related thing as well... but if it is then I can't think what
it might be and presumably that would also work the second time
once the flv was cached by your browser.

Thanks. I can change the forwarding settings in Gmail to be either POP or IMAP. That is quite simple. I just looked at those settings on the Gmail server and, to my surprise, both are enabled. In order for outlook client on my computer to receive IMAP emails I have to change the email account settings in my current outlook from POP to IMAP. I don't need to be using the Exchange version of Outlook to receive IMAP. I guess I'll do a little research tomorrow on Exchange so i can figure out what, if anything, it might do for me.
I glanced at the link you sent me and it looks like it might be very helpful - another project for tomorrow.
BTW: I hit "This Solved my Question" by accident. I meant only to "like' your response so you would get some benefit from the help you've given me so far. I hope I haven't discouraged others from taking a shot at helping me. I suspect there is more than one way to approach this and, as you know, my problem isn't really solved until I have what I need all set up and running smoothly.

I rented a movie on an iPad mini while connected to wifi. Now I'm in the car with out Internet and when I try to play the movie is says "could not load movie" what can I do? I purchased it from iTunes and let it load fully before leaving.

Now that I'm in the car I tried to watch the movie but it isn't working. When I press play an error message pops up saying "could not load movie" can I not watch it with our wifi? What's going on? Embedded m4v, avi and mov did not load, when published to server

Hi there,
today I created a new webpage, for the first time with iWeb. It work perfect on my mac including embedded movies. When I published it to my server, all pages loaded fine, but the movies did not. They started a bit and then everything ended in endless loading sessions. With ongoing "reloading" with the browser, it did improve, but did not work in one go.
So I had to upload it to youtube, and embedded it via the youtube widget. This is not the way I wanted it, but I found now solution, why it did not load?
Any idea what the reason is? Possibly wrong css lines?

What's the URL of your site? Visit your site in Safari, use the Window->Activity option and see what files for your site are not getting uploaded.
There are ways to embed a movie other than dragging it onto the iWeb page. This method, Opening Item in New Specially Sized Window, has you uploading the file just once manually to your server and linking to it there. It does not load with the page but only after the Play button is selected.
There is another way, Adding QT Movies via the Export for Web Option from QT Player, which is more difficult but gives a different appearance.

After watching 25 mn, it stops "Could not load movie"

I rented a movie on my iPad from iTunes Store.
After 25 mn of watching it stops and it says "could not load movie” then it has been fully downloaded.
The Apple assistance says "if your download was interrupted
1/ From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
2/ For iPad, tap Downloads."
But I don’t have Downloads button ("More" give me only the kind of movie)
If I go back on the icon of the movie on iTunes Store, it suggests me to "play" and the problem remains the same.
I switch iPad off and on again, nothing better happen.
I put 3 days to download in HD, so rental will expire before the end if I delete and I try to download it again.
Any idea? Thank you.

When I tried that I got a message that moving the rental HD movie back to the computer would delete it instead and I would have to re-rent (for an additional fee) the movie.
No word from Apple on how to solve this problem.
Does anyone here have a solution?

Poster Frame QT Movie linked to standard QT Movie loads in Firefox not I.E.

Ok, this may be a rare question here. Here's what I've done following a small blurb of directions in iMovie6/iDVD the Missing Manual by David Pogue. (awesome book)
I've created a "poster frame movie" in QT. This is a one -frame movie I use as the picture on the page.
This poster frame movie, when clicked, is linked to a full version of the same movie that opens in the same place. The reason for this poster frame movie is to start the QT plug-in download as soon as someone reaches my page so there is no wait time when they click to watch the movie, it should be instantaneous.
I tested this last night on my Mac with Firefox, and after clicking the poster frame movie (i.e.) the picture; the linked movie loaded right away. This worked on PC with Firefox as well.
However, when this is page is loaded in Internet Explorer, on Mac or PC, the poster frame movie is there, but when clicked, the full movies do not load.
Can anyone think of why or what setting I.E. may have that doesn't allow my QT movies to load when other browsers allow it?

Yup, that's your problem.
Before the <embed> you should add:
<param name="href" value="http://blip.tv/file/get/Awarner20-AnniversarySecondTry745.mov">
<param name="target" value="myself">
As predicted, your problem is that while the QuickTime plug-in has the HREF and TARGET parameters, they are missing from your OBJECT code, meaning that the QuickTime ActiveX Control will never see them. You need to include all parameters in both places (unless you want different behavior in IE).
Also, TECHNICALLY, you should also add a </embed> just before the </object>. The <embed> tag, like, for instance, the tag is self-closing, but the most recent XML standard (HTML is a subset of XML) says, "Thou shalt close all of thy tags". So it won't make a bit of difference in function, but it is good practice. And yes, you should also close your tags and use or , too.
(although technically we're not supposed to use EMBED at all anymore, as it isn't in the HTML spec, but it works with all browsers except IE while OBJECT doesn't always...)

Over resent weeks the down load time for the Appel TV Gen 3 has gone very slow, To the point that you can not watch the movie as it does but buffer and you have to stop about every 15 mins. I have a fully cable internet at 100mps or more. Other Australian sites down load movies in 2-3 min at worst and often can stat and play thought in 1 min 30 secs.
Apply TV was not like this in fast month to April, But May and June are Not Good

Have you verified speed via speedtest.net ?
Have you checked at different times?
Check istumbler or netstumbler to verify interference
Make sure you are on your ISPs DNS (settings - network - configure DNS - automatic)

ITUNES MOVIE DOES NOT LOAD ALL THE WAY

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

"Could not load movie" with YouTube videos.

In both the past and present I have had much difficulty with playing many YouTube videos on my iPod touch 4. This happens to be the case no matter if I am in the YouTube app or on the mobile YouTube site in safari. I will try to play a video to watch it and often times I blue box will pop up saying 'could not load movie'. This makes video viewing and sharing quite difficult! Please help! Thank you very much!

If you run across this error on your iDevice, keep the following in mind:
This is taken from another site, so I will quote:
"Most of the time its due to the age of the video upload, this one for example was done back in 2009 which was 2 years ago now. YouTube as you know relies heavily on Flash for video playback which is not compatible with the iOS range.
However to combat this, YouTube did work on converting chunks of videos to H264 playback, but by default the entire backlog of videos did not go through this conversion process...so you will find the odd video out there that does not play.
I believe though (and please someone correct me here if i am wrong) YouTube by default now encodes uploads in H264 as well as flash and a few other formats for multi-platform enjoyment :-) "

Hi my name is Patrick. I downloaded a tv show episode SOMEHOW three of the same episode downloaded. Want to delete these episodes (I have already seen them) one episode can be deleted but the other two episodes won't delete when i swipe. It starts opening the movie, and when I'm offline, it won't play and it says "could not load movie" but when i'm online it plays. It's weird.
How do I delete these two episodes?

So im tired with this error message .
I tried a soft reset but problem still the same .( btw when i do a soft reset i do not see the apple logo appears like some say... Is it normal ? I just obtain a dark screen and the device shut down thats all..)

IPad:Could not load movie

I downloaded a 'digital copy' DVD via iTunes onto my Mac. I then synced it to my iPad and when I try to play the video it says 'Could not load movie'. Is there a solution?
