Loading class in Oracle

I have a development database in Windows NT Server. One of my colleagues try to load the scripts which basically drop a JAVA class in the database and it picks up an error:
*** SESSION ID:(28.197) 2001-09-25 08:54:52.953
*** 2001-09-25 08:54:52.953
ksedmp: internal or fatal error
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [26599], [1], [14], [], [], [], [], []
Current SQL statement for this session:
drop java class "com.atune.presentation.plan.prePlaMaiAddresses"
Then he tried to recreate that class and provides the error:
*** SESSION ID:(13.3227) 2001-09-26 09:18:30.421
*** 2001-09-26 09:18:30.421
ksedmp: internal or fatal error
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [26599], [1], [14], [], [], [], [], []
Current SQL statement for this session:
create or replace java class using 'com/atune/presentation/plan/prePlaMaiAddresses'
However, the databases are working fine when we are loading other Java Classes with no errors.
As I have checked the documentation of the error messages, there are number of possible errors coming up.
What is the error?

user497328,
Please provide more information.
1. Exact database version, 9.??
2. Java version, 1.??
3. Platform (windows, linux, solaris, etc)
4. Command you are using to load the java class
5. Entire error message (and stack trace?) you are getting
You may find the answers in the Oracle documentation, which can be accessed from here:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/index.html
The java documentation is not the same for every release of Oracle, so I can't tell you the exact place to look without knowing what database version you are using. But I believe you should try the Java Developer's Guide.
Good Luck,
Avi.

  • Class not found error afer loading classes to oracle

hi i have loaded quite a few jars into oralce 11g databse
    created a java stored function
    and executed it
some times it works... and hits the java front end environment... we are hitting a servlet.. and recording some output statements .. in the function
but sometimes it throws class not found error
any idea why its working sometimes and not some othr times?
Also when i load the jars.. the classes are loaded but when i see the name of the classes using
    select * from user_objects where object_type like 'J%'
then i see some additional characters prefixxed the class names ... is that causing the problem?
    something like this

    Learning_man,
Obviously you need to learn how to ask a question.
There is nothing in your post other than 'It doesn't work. Why? Help"
without any specific example. Also you still fail to include a 4 digit version!!!
It is also the third or the fourth time you asked this very same question.
Can you learn how to ask a question please? And stop repeating the question when you don't get a response?
And no, the extra characters are not the problem.
    An incorrect CLASSPATH probably is.

  • Load class in Oracle

    Hello!
I wrote the java class that uses classes from jar files that are not in Oracle. Jar files I added to the environment variable CLASSPATH. When I load my class through the program loadjava you get an error ORA-29521 referenced name (the class from the jar file) could not be found. How do I fix this problem? Oracle 10.2.0.4

    Hi,
I think you are not pointing to the jvm inside the database, please look at the 10g2 documentation
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/java.102/b14187/chone.htm#BABCFDJH
    it states:
"In this release, the system classes are upgraded from J2SE 1.4.1 to J2SE 1.4.2"
So if you use generics you have to remove then or try to to use
If you want to keep the code with generics you can try retrotranslator and see if it works with the Oracle jvm (I didn't try)

    Hi,
We were trying to override the "coherence-eventdistributionpattern-pof-config.xml" with our own event distribution pof due to conflicintg type-id's. We changed type-id's for few of the classes. We changed the type-id for the following classes and left others as such.

    Hi Manish,
It seems that you are using a custom security provider and the weblogic server is not able to find the class / jar file that contains the class.
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Failed to load class com.msl.security.providers.SessionPrincipal]
Make sure you have all the required jar files in the server classpath.
You can use the JarScan utility to find the jar that contains the class.
Refer the below link regarding the jarScan.

  • Load: class oracle.forms.engine.Main not found Stuck at loading Java Applet

    Hi there
I have recently installed App Server 10.1.2.0 on a new machine.
Copied all my forms to an appropriate directory. Set up formsweb.cfg to allow them to run and have attempted to run them.
Unfortunately I get stuck at the Loading Java Applet screen, and in the status bar at the bottom it says :
    load: class oracle.forms.engine.Main not found
I have taken a look at the Java Console, and the 2 things that jump out at me are that it appears to be looking for a forms90 directory, which seems odd since I am using App Server 10.1.2.0.2 and Forms Builder 10.1.2.0.2 meaning it should be looking in a forms directory not forms90 directory shouldnt it ?
And also, it mentions class with no proxy, so on looking around the forums it has been suggested that put the proxy details into jinitiator, which I have done, but this has made no difference either.
Can anyone suggest anything else please ?
    Java Console log follows.
    Thanks a lot

  • Avoid compilationof java class  in oracle using load java

we are trying to load dom4j.jar file into oracle jvm using loadjava.
    command:
    loadjava -verbose -user un/pwd:host:port:sid dom4j.jar
the loadjava utility unzip the jar and loads class files one by one.
most of the classes are marked as invlid.
if i use -resolve option in loadjava
    dependency classes are required.
how to make class are valid without using the resolve option or without loading dependent jars.

    Try with -genmissing option.

  • Wrapped: Unable to load class "com.cache.DBCacheStore"

    Hi,
I was trying out a sample application for using DBCacheStore and getting the following error...

I have the CLASSPATH set to the location of DBCacheStore.class file both in cache-server.cmd and in my application startup JVM params. But still i am not able to resolve this issue. However i am still able to hit the database and get the values for the first call and on sub-sequent call, i am able to retrive the value from cache. I also encounter the below error, after i have retrieved the values from cache...

  • ClassNotFoundException trying to load classes in a .war file inside an .ear file

Hi. I've deployed an EJB2 enterprise app as an ear file on WebLogic 6
without errors. The ear file contains web app and ejb components in war and
jar files. The web component is set to be the default web app in the
config.xml file. Everything deploys without error messages.
My problem is that I get ClassNotFoundExceptions when I try to invoke a
servlet (via its servlet-mapping) or do Class.forName() on any class file in
              the war file.
I see in '.wl_temp_do_not_delete' that the ear file has been decomposed into
the ejb jar and web war files. The war file is not 'exploded' into a
directory structure, however (as the console.war is). Is this an error
(should the class packages in the war file be 'exploded'?)
              I don't see a tag in the web.xml, config.xml, or application.xml that tells
the server to explode the war file--is there one?
Note that if I manually copy the exploded class folders into the
              '_tmp_war_myserver_myserver_<<webappname>>' directory (and not, curiously,
into a WEB-INF/classes subdirectory of that directory), the servlets and
other classes load correctly. Also, jsps and html files load just fine
              without exploding the war file.
Note also that the server complains about not being able to find the
classes, even though it reports that the decomposed war file is in the
classpath. Is there a problem loading class files from a .war file (because
the namespace is different, with root classes located in WEB-INF/classes
rather than the .war file's root?)
Also, in the application.xml file, what is the meaning of the
<context-root></context-root> element? What should its value be? What if
              you leave it blank?
              Thanks for any help,
              Reid

Is there a way to add jar libraries to the Oracle JVM CLASSPATH? Is this the same as the system's CLASSPATH env. variable?
    Thank you!

The problem is that the context factory implementation specified (com.evermind.server.ApplicationClientInitialContextFactory

  • How to list the JAR files loaded into the Oracle Database ?

How to list the JAR files loaded into the Oracle Database ?

From 11.1 onwards, the below two views are available to identify the jar files loaded into the Database.
    JAVAJAR$
    JAVAJAROBJECTS$
By querying the JAVAJAR$ view you can know information about the JAR files loaded into the Database and using JAVAJAROBJECTS$ view you can find all the java objects associated with the given JAR file.
These views are populated everytime you use LOADJAVA with "-jarsasdbobjects" option to load your custom java classes.
But unfortunately this feature is available only from 11.1 onwards and there is no clear workaround for above in 10.2 or earlier.

    Hi,
This is not the forum for WebLogic Messaging, i.e., JMS. This is the forum for Oracle MessageQ, and pure standalone messaging product similar to IBM MQ Series.

Please help to suggest me. How should I do to let out this error?
    Thanks

many people use the two interchangeably, though technically it can mean something different.
What you get back from a call to newInstance() is the same as what you'd get when using the new keyword and no constructor arguments, a reference to an instance of a class (there are other ways to dynamically create an instance using other constructors).
"Creating a class object" technically means loading the class which causes a Class instance (so an instance of the class Class) to be created for that particular class, making the class available to the JVM for instantiation of instances.
newInstance() and its sisters are useful for when the class to be instantiated is not known (or even doesn't exist) when compiling the class that needs to instantiate it.
This is of course the case with JDBC. The people creating the JVM can't know what driver classes will be out there at some point in the future (and if they did know and have access to all of them in the past it would still be foolish to have them all hardwired into the JVM).

  • Couldnt load database driver: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver

    Hi,
I could appreciate some help here.
I have saved my classes12.zip and nls_charset12.zip in my c:\work\WebDev and I have added this to my classpath. But when I run my servlet, I still get the error of "Couldnt load database driver: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver"
I also tried using jar files but still got the same error.
    Any sggestions to solve this?
    Thanks!!

If it is Tomcat, extract the classes12.zip and place
    in the tomcat-home\common\classes folder.
I am rather certain that it does not need to be extracted. I am also rather certain that the documentation for Tomcat points out the correct way to install it (which includes changing the extension from zip to jar.)
