Loading external fiels (json, images) using oam?

Hey there,
i have build an edge animate animation/application and want to embed it with it's "oam" file into a muse website. .. So far this isn't really a problem, BUT i am using external json data and images in my project...
After exporting to the oam-file and embedding it to muse i'm not able to load these files anymore... I've tried several folders and so on but nothing works out :/
Any idea how to solve this?
Best,
Nico

function loadJSON() {
                    jsonDATA = [];
                    $.getJSON('source.json', function(data) {
                              refCount = data.images.length;
                              // Global Path for Images
                              imageGlobalPath = data.global_path;
                              // Loop through each reference
                              for ( var i=0; i < refCount; i++){
                               var o = data.images[i];
                                jsonDATA.push(
                                                            "id":i,
                                                            "img_sw":o.img_sw,
                                                            "img_clr":o.img_color,
                                                            "url":o.url,
                                                            "title":o.headtitle,
                                                            "description":o.description,
                              createBoxes();
That's the code

  • Is it possible to load a non-standard image using some Java API?

    Hi,
    My "problem" is:
    1. I have an image called "mediterranean_sea.IMG" (non-standard image format)
    2. I need to process it (histogram, palette, etc).
    3. I'm wondering if it is possible to load this image an process it using some Java API.
    4. I've tried to do this using JAI but I think that this API only works with TIFF, PNG, JPEG, etc.
    Any idea?
    Thanks in advance,

  • Loading external swf in array using wildcard in as3?

    Hi
    I can use the following code to load in a specific swf:
    var clips:Array = ["001/001.swf"];
    but how do I tell Flash to load whatever file is in the 001 folder without stipulating a specific filename?
    Thanks
    Shaun

    Not possible in Flash Player. Though this is possible in AS3 the API is only supported for AIR runtime and not for FP.
    The alternate way is to achieve this using PHP script which you can use in combination with AS3.

  • I want to load external swf in movieclip and next external swf should load Automatically

    I want to load external swf in movieclip and next external swf should load Automatically when current swf is finished in AS3.
    How can we can check total frame and current frame of imported swf in a movie clip.
    any help will be appreciated
    regards,
    Jatin Dembla

    in as3 you use the loader class (not movieclips) to load external swfs.
    you can use an Event.COMPLETE event listener (applied to the loader's contentLoaderInfo property) to check when loading is complete and start the next swf loading.
    you can use the loader's content property (caste as a movieclip) to determine info (including totalFrames) about the loaded swf's main timelnie (once loading is initialized, for the totalFrames, or complete, for some other properties like height and width).
    var loader:Loader=new Loader();
    loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE,loadcompleteF);
    loader.load(new URLRequest("swf1.swf"));
    var loadedSWF:MovieClip;
    function loadcompleteF(e:Event):void{
    loadedSWF=MovieClip(loader.content);
    trace(loadedSWF.totalFrames);

  • Load external data to symbol (text + images)

    Hi there!
    I would like to make a symbol that contains one image and one textfield. I've got three buttons, and when I click on each button the symbol shows a different content (so an image and a text depending on what button was clicked, but always inside the same symbol).
    I've read that it could be done using an external JSON file, though I really don't know how to do that.
    Do you have something that could help me achieve this?
    Thank you very much!

    Mmmh not really,
    Actually I would like to load these data into a symbol by clicking on another symbol, but these specific data are extern (like an image from another folder in my project files).
    What I would like to achieve actually is an image gallery: when I click on a symbol (that is kind of a thumbnail), it show that other symbol which contain the image and a description. But these image and description changes regarding which thumbnail we clicked on.
    Does that make sense? =/

  • Hello, i am new to the mac and i need to learn how to re image using an external hard drive

    Hello, i am new, like baby fresh new,...lol, to the mac and i need to learn how to re-image using an external hard drive.

    How to replace or upgrade a drive in a laptop
    Step One: Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
    Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger, Leopard or Snow Leopard.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
    If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
    Step Two: Remove the old drive and install the new drive.  Place the old drive in an external USB enclosure.  You can buy one at OWC who is also a good vendor for drives.
    Step Three: Boot from the external drive.  Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager appears.  Select the icon for the external drive then click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Step Four: New Hard Drive Preparation
    1. Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
    2. After DU loads select your new hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area.  If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing.  Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID  then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
    4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
    5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
    6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
    Step Five: Clone the old drive to the new drive
    1. Open Disk Utility from the Utilities folder.
    2. Select the destination volume from the left side list.
    3. Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
    4. Check the box labeled Erase destination.
    5. Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag it to the Destination entry field.
    6. Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to the Source entry field.
    7. Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
    Destination means the new internal drive. Source means the old external drive.
    Step Six: Open the Startup Disk preferences and select the new internal volume.  Click on the Restart button.  You should boot from the new drive.  Eject the external drive and disconnect it from the computer.

  • Best Practice - load external image including rollovers

    I am attempting to use the loader component to load an
    external jpg, but experience issues having my flash app
    successfully load a roll-over image from an external source when
    the user rolls over the intital jpg. I am not a flash developer
    (actually a .net developer trying to help a graphics guy out).
    I started with the loader component, converted it to a movie
    clip and then utilized the on(rollover) and on(rollout) events to
    change the loader component's contentPath property at runtime via
    ActionScript. I am not getting consistent results with this
    strategy - what is the best way to accomplish this? Also note I
    tried converted to a button, which seemed more logical, but the
    loader component doesn't seem to like being converted to a button.
    Regards,
    Daflookie

    Daflookie,

    Check out the Loader class in the Components Language
    Reference. Loader
    extends MovieClip, so there's no need to convert to a movie
    clip symbol. In
    addition, I recommend scrapping on() in favor of MovieClip
    events, which
    will probably be closer to your .NET point of view that the
    older
    on/onClipEvent approach to event handling (those are Flash
    5-era).
    Honestly, though, if you simply want to load images, I would
    forego the
    Loader component (no need for all that overhead) and use
    MovieClipLoader to
    load your images into the user's Internet cache. You'll see a
    good handful
    of events under that class listing as well (see the
    ActionScript 2.0
    Language Reference).

  • How to Load External Images - Please Help!

    I have created a simple portfolio site. The buttons I created
    trigger separate frames. Could I not create a MC (Movie Clip) on
    each frame where the images now reside and then when the button is
    clicked (On "Click' Goto frame 1) for e.g. then the image would be
    loaded from an external folder named "Images" in my website?
    I am stumped as to how to set this up. Could someone please
    help me?
    Thanks

    Yes, you can do that. Which version of Flash and which
    version of Actionscript are you using?

  • Load external image and animate?

    This may be a naive question, but -
    What is the best method to draw external content (an image
    file) into a Flash movie, AND then ANIMATE that content?
    I assumed I would need to use the LOADER COMPONENT to draw an
    image file from an external URL, but is there a way to then perform
    a simple animation (e.g., slide the image across the stage) with
    the loaded image? I cannot seem to figure out how to manipulate an
    image once loaded (using the LOADER COMPONENT).
    Yes, I am new to Flash, so there may be six other ways to do
    this of which I am not aware.
    Suggestions/solutions?

    use the MovieClipLoader class to load the image into a holder
    movie clip, then use the onLoadInit function to animate the holder
    clip.

  • Load external images

    Im wanting to make a photo gallery that I can update easy, I
    thought if I could have a movieclip load external images for my
    thumbnails it would be nice but Im not sure how to set it up. I
    would make a file for my images and then another for my thumbnails,
    then if or when I want to switch out pictures I'd just have to drop
    new images into my folders and not even touch the FLA. Could anyone
    point me in the right direction with the right action script to use
    or a tutorial that explains how this is done..
    And when I say load external I want it so I dont have to
    click on the image for it to load, I want it to just load
    automatically , I would put an invisible button or something to
    that efect over the images for a animated effect.
    Thanks for your help.

    I don't know if you are super enthusiastic about building it,
    or if you just want the utility. If the later is the case, I just
    purchased (cheap) a really great product that does all of what you
    want, fairly automatically, including scaling large pictures down
    to smaller size so that they load quickly.
    I am not sure of the policy of recommending third-party
    applicatons here. So, if you are interested, send an email (private
    message) to me and I will show you the simple site I put together
    using it and where to get it.

  • Load external image & text into SWF

    Can someone point me to a tutorial on how to create a
    template that will load an external image file,.css styled text
    & a .css style sheet into a .swf by using .xml?
    Thank you for your time.
    CK

    You can use the MovieClipLoader class to load multiple images sequentially (one at a time), but you wouldn't use a 'for' type of loop...instead you would use a recursive loop, where a loading function is called after each load completion until all loading in done.  This is done by utilizing a load-complete listener to trigger loading of the next image.  So you start the loading process by loading one file, when that file is determined to be loaded, the listener proceses that file in whatever way you need to prepared (resizing, etc) and triggers the loading of the next file.
    If you look up the MovieClipLoader.addListener method in the Flash help documents there is an example there that uses the onLoadInit event.  You would be wanting to use the onLoadComplete event.

  • Loading external .swf with external images

    I have created a basic website and wish to load an external
    .swf file into it. The .swf loads fine but the images that are to
    load within that particular .swf do not. The images are external
    and load using this action script.
    btn1.onRelease = function (){
    loadMovie ("IMG_2812.jpg", _root.photo.empty)
    They load fine using just the .swf file but when the .swf is
    loaded within another document it doesnt load the imgs.

    add
    this._lockroot = true;
    to frame 1 of the main timeline of your external swf.
    retest.

    I spoke with application technical support.  There appears to be nothing wrong with my copy of iPhoto.  However there is no support from Adobe.  I waited for over 1.5 hours for chat support several days ago, and finally gave up.

    You are probably choosing the obvious file rather than the correct file as the PSE editor. The actual editor is hidden away inside the Support Files folder. The PSE file at the top level of the PSE folder in Applications is just an alias for the welcome screen and what you're describing is exactly what happens when you choose that. You want this one:
