Loading Measurement Files through a SubVI

Hello!
Please forgive me if I sound inexperienced or naive, I am still fairly new to LABVIEW. Hopefully this is an easy question for you experts...
I am attempting to make a subVI that loads data and sets conditions for the main VI. I have a subVI that loads 2 seperate channels from a Measurement file. I want to somehow move that data from the SubVI back to the main VI, where it will then be loaded onto an express XY graph. Should I dump it into an array or a table or what? Right now, it only sends the last value of the file being read.
I guess my question comes down to: What is the easiest way to save a stream of Dynamic Data, and then put it on an XY graph?

It's hard to give you any sort of specific advice without seeing the code you have written, but there are a couple things to bear in mind:
There is a distinction between how data appears on a front panel and the datatype of the underlying data. Sometimes this difference is large. Fot example, take the case of a table indicator. On the front panel it looks like a table with row and column headers, movable dividers, scrollbars -- in short it has all the bells and whistles. However, from the block diagram, it's just a 2D string. Likewise, if you connect that table to a terminal on the connector pane, it just presents itself as a 2D string indicator and can wire to anything that can accept a 2D string input.
Second, instead of spending time worrying about the dynamic data, which is really only useful in conjunction with express VIs, which allow you get running very quickly, but are very limited. They also tend to be pretty inefficient. Better to spend your time going through the tutorials that are available and learn how to use LV better.
So post your code and we will consider it and advise you. This is a great place to learn.

It seems that you are trying to use the file as your staging areas. Hyperion LKM extracts essbase data into a DB staging area which can then be used by your file IKM to load it into file.
You need to use a RDBMS for your staging area.

Loading Data From File Through EM on Mac OS X

Has anyone been able to load data from a file through the Oracle Enterprise Manager on Mac OS X?
Specifically, I'm trying to follow the example in the 2-day DBA manual (Chp. 08 "Managing Schema Objects" --> "Loadng Data Into Tables").
When I enter the appropriate user name and password entries into the fields under the "Host Credentials" section, and I click the "Next" button, I run into a "Validation Error." The rest of the error message reads:
"Examine and corrent the following errors, then retry the operation: Error - RemoteOperationException: ERROR: command process interrupted before exit"
Has anyone else encountered the same error? If so, would you please share the solution? I'm also curious to know how to diagnose the problem (i.e., which logs can I reference to trace what's happening in the background?).

I used to get an error message stating that I entered the wrong password whether or not I actually entered the password correctly. Then, I modified the NetInfo entries for the local user account that I was using; I changed the "authentication_authority" property to ";basic;" and changed the "passwd" property a traditional unix hash password (using the 'openssl passwd <password>' command). All changes were done using the NetInfo Manager.
After I made the change, I got a little further, but only as far as the problem that I described at the start of this message thread.
Likewise, I hope someone from Oracle can actually provide some insight into this.

Data load fron flat file through data synchronization

Hi,
Can anyone please help me out with a problem. I am doing a data load in my planning application through a flat file and using data synhronization for it. How can i specify during my data synchronization mapping to add values from the load file that are at the same intersection instead of overriding it.
For e:g the load files have the following data
Entity Period Year Version Scenario Account Value
HO_ATR Jan FY09 Current CurrentScenario PAT 1000
HO_ATR Jan FY09 Current CurrentScenario PAT 2000
the value at the intersection HO_ATR->Jan->FY09->Current->CurrentScenario->PAT should be 3000.
Is there any possibility? I dont want to give users rights to Admin Console for loading data.

First let us know if you are in BW 3.5 or 7.0
In either of the cases, just try including the fields X,Y,Date, Qty etc in the datasource with their respective length specifications.
While loading the data using Infopackage, just make the setting for file format as Fixed length in your infopackage
This will populate the values to the respective fields.

Loading external as file through url

Hi
I have external actionscript files that I call like this:
#include "../events/allevents.as"
But if I want to inport the full URL i.e.
#include "http://www.essentialeventsmanagement.com/events/allevents.as" it does locate the file although it is the correct URL. How can I set this up so it always calls the server as and not my local as file

Plz help me to correct unsatisfiedlinkerror - on loading a library file

Dear friends,
I have to load a .dll file through System.loadLibrary() method. Dll file is stored in c:\<appname>\lib\sample.dll in server machine.when a client calls this java prgm,dll has to be loaded to client machine.JVM searches the dll file only in the directories which are specified in PATH env variable.
Before calling System.loadLibray("libraryname"),I include my library path to PATH variable by the following way

Instead of setting path thru command come set path vis System.getProperty("path") then add ur path in return value. Set modified path again as System.setProperty("path", value). Try this solution.

Java through javawebstart not loading the xml file.-- need help

Dear All,
I am using jdk1.2.06, tomcat 5.25
In tomcat- inside webapps--mydirectory-- load.xml, applet1.java is present
in the browser applet1.java is called through javawebstart,
load.xml is loaded in applet1.java,where parsing is done in applet1.java,
but my problem is load.xml is not loaded in applet1.java through java webstart
Whether i want to do any pplicy file setting.. please clearly mention it..

Load two input file into One Target table through SQL LOADER

Is that a little clearer?
Are you saying there is a relationship between the data in the two files?
How do you know which last name relates to which first name in the first file? Is there a reference key between the records on the two files?
Perhaps you'd better show us an example of the contents of the files so we can see what you are trying to do.

Error while deploying EAR file through SDM

I am deploying EAR file through SDM. Its taking too much time to deploy in the 3rd stage (its just a simple hello file for testing purpose and its still in that stage for 2 hours).

'Error loading plugin: Plugin file not found' message on ONLY 5 sites, but all others OK. Help, please!

I posted this problem here before, but since I really need to access the sites that receive this error message in less than a month, I had to re-post; hopefully someone who didn't see it before will see it & have a solution for me.
Here are the details: I'm running windows 8.1 & I use Firefox 33.1.1, Pale Moon 25.1.0 or Opera 26.0 as my browsers, (I have IE installed & up-to-date, but I never use it). I followed the 10-point checklist on Adobe & everything was done, except for "uncheck Hardware Acceleration" in Flash 'Settings'; I tried to uncheck it on this site, where it's indicated, as well as in my 4 browsers when I'm doing something that uses Flash, but no matter how hard I try, I can't 'uncheck' the check mark in that tiny box! Since this error problem only affects 5 web sites, & I can watch streaming media on all other sites, I don't think it's an issue.
Here's how this problem began: I was watching a live, streaming nest-cam on 5/09/14 around 11:00AM, (yes, I DO know the exact time & date, because it happened so suddenly while I was watching this website that I'd been watching since the end of February, 2014), when my screen went black. I thought it was probably an Adobe Crash, but when the usual Crash Report window didn't show up, I just closed Firefox & reopened it, expecting to resume watching the nest-cam. When I went back to the site, I got the black screen with the "Error loading plugin: Plugin file not found" message. The chat portion on the site still works, though. I know there are other sites with this nest-cam feed, so I started trying them, but it took several tries for me to find one that didn't get the error message! I posted this problem on "Windows BBS" forum, & someone else posted that the same thing happened to them AND on the same sites! They didn't have a solution, either. I cleared my cache, rebooted my PC & even did a System Restore, but whatever happened in that brief second made using ONLY 5 sites impossible. Here are the sites that receive the error message:

I'm an amateur nest-watcher & it's vital that I have access to these 5 sites, so if anyone knows how to fix this, PLEASE tell me!

I have exactly the exact problem described below but do not have a folder with the same name as the volume created under the volume. Please can someone help - I've tried everything. This problem only happened when I upgraded to Dreaweaver CC!

FDMEE - unable to load an erronous file

I created an HFM and FDMEE application.
I was able to load a flat file, whose dimensions' values were identical to the metadata.
I tried loading a file with values that are not in metadata, to see a validation report, but I keep getting this:

Thanks for the quick response.
The flat file I load contained 2 rows (it was a test load).
The correct file, that I was able to import, validate and export to HFM included these 2 rows:
L0108140140,11101000,[ICP None],[None],[None],[None],Base,2000000
L0108140140,42001101,[ICP None],[None],[None],[None],Base,-2000000
The erroneous file that I wasn't even able to import included these 2 rows:
L0108140140,11101000,[ICP None],[None],[None],[None],Base,2000000
L0108140140,42001101,[ICP None],[None],lil,[None],Base,-2000000
The only difference is in one of the dimensions lil instead of [None].
I wanted the system to show me that the value wasn't mapped so it cannot proceed in the export to HFM.
Any ideas?

Unable to Load Portable Collection File

Hello, I created a Portable Collector and am trying to load this file into my Zenworks 7.5 (R12) but I keep getting the following error message when I use the wizard to import it:
"There were problems loading 1 workstation inventory files. For details, refer to the Manager event log or the error log file from which you loaded data."
I'm not sure where the Manager event log is nor the error log file that they're referring to. I checked the application and system event logs in MS event viewer but that showed nothing. I resorted to checking the install path event logs and found this in TSCMgrEvent20080617.log:

Load Portable Collection Failure

I check the inventory from the web console and the computer isn't even listed there. Can anyone shed any light? I've searched the forums and the KB and found nothing at all. I need to get this portable collector up by this weekend...any help would be greatly appreciated!

A couple of things... first, you MUST load a Portable Collection using the same Collection Server as created the Portable Collector. Second, it sounds very much like somehow your Portable.Ini has gotten dinged. That's not a file you can simply edit and save; if you try, ZAM will stop working. It needs to be updated in the File Store before it'll be accepted. That's a security measure to prevent outside influences from altering that file (as others) for nefarious purposes.
Please contact Novell Technical Support and tell them that your Portable.Ini needs to be replaced. They'll send you a good copy of Portable.Ini and set you up with UpdateFS, which will register the good copy in your FileStore.
Another possibility... are you running Oracle instead of MSSQL? It's possible that one or more filenames in the File Store are out of sync with their names in the DB. Oracle being case-sensitive, that's very very easy to do. Again, Novell Technical Support can help you through fixing it if it's true. It's not something that can be simply remedied by oneself.

How to load a text file int JEditorPane and highlight some words (Urgent !)

I want to load a text file into a JEditorPane and then highlights some keywords such as while,if and else.I am using an EditorKit in order to style the JEditorPane. I have no difficulty while giving the input through the keyboard but lots of exceptions are thrown if i try to load the string from a file.

I think the setCharacterAttributes(int offset, int length, AttributeSet s, boolean replace) will solve the problem.
You can create your own Styled Document and set it to the Editor Pane.
