Loading Movies from Tile List

I have two questions.
I want to click on a thumbnail in a tile list and have that
thumbnail load a related movie into the video player.
I also want the loaded movie to continuously loop, however,
quicktime doesn't support above actionscript 1.0.
Any Ideas?

If it has a FireWire connection, use that to connect it to your MBP, open iMovie, and import.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

YouTube API can't load movie from youtube rightnow?

But after upgrade the FlashPlayer,not working, can't load movie to ytplayer.

This problem lost every YouTube movie in our content.
But It's working normal one(or two) month ago.

Load .mov from my Nikon to FCX

when I load .mov files from my Nikon The windows show only a small part of the frame. If I bring the frame to full screen it is all there. Both browser and clip windows.
Files are 1920 x 1080 H264 - 29.07hz Set up is Apple inter codec 1920x1080i60
Runnubg Mavrick 10.9.1 FCE 4.0.1
How do I load these files so they appear properlu and can be edited.
I tried converting to mp4 but got the same result.

Does iTunes purge movies from their list?

Seems I can not rent the film "Taken" from iTunes. I watched it last year and now it does not show up using the Power Search with iTunes.
How can you see the entire list of available movies from iTunes? I may need to go to NetFlix I guess.
I wonder if iTunes (Apple) drops films that are no longer popular?

Down load movies from itunes

I am trying to down load a movie from Itunes but it tells me that "i don't have write access for my Itunes media folder or a folder with it. Change permission ( in the finder ) and then choose store > check for available downloads".
I can't figure out how to change the permission.

First of all try repairing disk permissions (use disk utility for this, you can find it on applications>utilities). Also remember that your computer has to be authorized to play itunes content. Go to the top bar on itunes, click on Store and Autorize this computer.

Airplay will not load movies from my vudu app on my ipad to my apple tv.

I just received an apple tv as a christmas present and was beyond excited. I have been wanting one for a long time now. The main reason I wanted an apple tv, was so I could stream my movies that are in my vudu app on my ipad, to my television. They are both synced together and are on the same wifi network, however it is not streaming correctly. Everytime I click apple tv under airplay, it acts like it is going to send, but it kicks it off and returns the airplay mode to ipad. I even tried clicking on mirroring and that is not working either. I updated both devices with new software updates. Please help!!!

I don't have vudu but understand it to contain content protection, you can purchase movies from the iTunes Store instead.

Loading movie from mini DVD

I have a Sony DCR-DVD92 that uses the mini DVD's for recording. There is no firewire or USB port on this camera. Since the iMac can't run the mini DVD's how can I transfer the movies from my Handycam to my computer?

If you can, buy a better camera. This camera was not designed for use with a computer or with editing.
If you have a lot of mini-DVDs from this camera that you want to edit, your best bet is to [buy a USB DVD player recorder that sits flat on your desk like the ones at this link|http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/firewire/optical-drives>. Do not put these little DVDs into the slot on your iMac. You may not be able to get them out.

I was down loading music from my list of songs from my computer, the playlist on my iPod shows the title of the song, but there is no music, and the iPod shuffles to the next song

I down loaded songs from my playlist off my computer to my iPod, the playlist on my iPod shows the title of the song, but no music plays and my iPod shuffles to the next available song. I down loaded about 300 songs at once, was that to much at one time ? How do I get those songs on my iPod without duplicating song titles on the playlist? Plus I have a couple of song duplications on the playlist, can't figure out how to remove them.

Otherwise delete and resync if they play OK in iTunes on the computer

Need to remove movie from video list

Hi, I imported a movie into my iTUnes 6 video list and I want to remove it. I put it up there as a test and I even deleted the file but the thumbnail is still up there on teh screen with my other videos. THis isnt a major deal but jsut kind of annoying.
I tried right-clicking and going up to the menu but i saw nothing abotu removing. Cut was grayed out so it wasnt an option. Is there a setting i need to change to give me manual control or something?

I'm having the same problem. I had some old Rocketboom.com videos on my hard drive that I didn't know I had. When I updated to iTunes 6.0 it added these videos to my iTunes library. The problem is that the files had a read-only attribute set. Windows/XP OS. Since the files have read-only permission, iTunes won't allow me to delete the files. So I deleted the videos manually from the OS, unfortunately iTunes still won't let me delete the video from iTunes, even though the videos no longer exist. UGH! iTunes does ask me if I want to "browse" and find the file. I tried pointing the library to a file that was deleteable, but iTunes still thinks the file is protected and won't let me delete the file. I'm stumped. I can't think of way to delete all these files from my iTunes video library. We may have to wait for the next update. I hope it's not too long in coming.

I Movie HD quits while loading movie from desktop

I am assembling a movie, importing still pictures in jpg format. After saving my work 2 days ago, upon booting up iMovie HD the next day it starts to load the project from the desktop, prompts with box asking if I want to view the trash. Regardless of how I respond to the prompt, the program freezes with the spinning ball then quits and the Finder menu appears at the top of the screen. I've tried force quitting to no avail. The program indicates I have 350MB RAM left. How do I get back into my project?

Are you sure that is what it is indicating? Normally it will be telling how many GB of storage is left un-used. RAM is a quite different type of memory. Could you be running short on storage space? 'Get Info' about your hard drive and see what it says about available storage. Ideally for smooth functioning, a good 10% of your HD should be kept clear. Also remember that iMovie consumes 1 GB for every 5 minutes of footage.

Won't load movie from PC to iPhone

I can't get a movie I purchased from iTunes to load onto my iPhone. Everything else syncs just fine. Anyone have a similar issue?

There should be TWO copies of the movie in itunes, you need to select the copy for the iphone/ipod to sync to your phone.
