'loading' symbol on button click

Hi,
I have a requirement where user want to see 'loading' icon (the circle that rotates in center of window when backend operation is in process) below a search button.
Is there any way to have this 'loading' icon at the place we want on screen?

Hi,
To my knowledge, this is not possible in a direct way.
However, you could use the following workaround:
- export a portal theme, unzip, and extract the image from ur.zip under common/loading
- store this image in the mime folder of your WD component, and embed this image at the preferred position in your view, showing and hiding upon a button click

Hello Experts,
In my application, i want to add a text area to add comment.
I will provide one button to add comment. When I click on it, it should load a text area with submit button.
After typing some text in text area and click submit, it needs to insert into the database.
How to do it. Please help me.

just add a hidden variable called P1_SHOW_COMMENT and create for your submit button and your text area a condition which checks if variable is set to "yes".
Default value is "no" or empty. On button click set item P1_SHOW_COMMENT by pl/sql process to "yes".

Loading movie clip to stage with button click AS3

I'm trying to figure out how to load a movie clip to the stage with a button click and have the movieclip close again using a close button. Does anyone have a step by step on how to do this or links to some tutorials.
Below is an example of what I'm trying to do.

Alrighty I changed the publish settings to as3. I'm still getting two errors:
Scene 1
1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: Popup1Btn.
Scene 1, Layer 'as', Frame 1, Line 3
1061: Call to a possibly undefined method addEventListener through a reference with static type Class.
So my setup on my main timeline is I have an actionscript layer with this code now:

I guess, putting it in recovery mode and restoring it "as new phone" is your only chance if you can make it. Restoring from a backup may copy corrupt files back to your phone, causing this problem.

In order to download to your phone over the air, you need to be connected to WiFi.
It's possible the Internet connection through Verizon is not stable enough for the downlaod to begin (it is a very large download).
You might want to head over to Starbucks with your laptop for the afternoon and see if you can download it over their WiFi.

1. First check if this file APSDaemon.exe is the problem here.
Close your iTunes.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del key and choose Task Manager. In the "Processes" Tab, select the file APSDaemon.exe and click End Prosses button, then close the task manager window.
Now open itunes and see if it is working?
If that works, to prevent having to do the same process everytime you restart Windows, go to. START button, type in
MSCONFIG
Hit ENTER
Click STARTUP Tab, Uncheck "Apple Push", click OK.

Project file won't open. I just get the spinning loading symbol but it never opens.

I am working on a school project video. The app was working great for about a week. Now when i click on the play button of my project file, i get the spinning loading symbol and the video never play or opens. If I right click on the project file in the left side column, sometimes it will play, but i cannot open it to work on it. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Didn't help. Thanks.

Probably corrupted project file. Do you have a saved or auto-saved version of the project on disc somewhere?

For This I have added a JScript in Layout folder in VS 2010 empty project solution and I have put
the following Jscript code. While running and clicking the ribbon button, it seems like JScript is not
invoking and not producing any result. It is like control is not going to Jscript file. How can I find out
the issue???? can anyone please help me on anything wrong with my script or is
it some-other problem which causes the blank result???
It is a farm sharepoint2010 solution, debugging is not working in Visual Studio & IE!!!!
Somebody please help, hard to find the error.....

Call Web Dynpro application on a button Click.

I have 2 web dynpro components.(COMP1 and COMP2). I wants to call the application of COMP2 from a button click from COMP1.
1. In COMP1 view i have a button. I have created an outbound plug 'TO_APP' with parameter 'URL' type string.
2. Inside the event handler method for the button i have written the code as given below.

My ipod touch displays a loading symbol and then goes to the apple logo and then repeats the process. I cant turn it on or off and has been this way for the past 24 hours. I have an 8GB 4th Gen and have over 7,000 pictures, but cant delete. help

My ipod has over 7,000 pictures and there are 5,00 i could easily delete but it wont let me do anything! it just has a loading symbol that converts into an apple logo and then back again. Ive tried pressing down the home and sleep/wake button down at the same time for 10 seconds. The apple logo does appear, but it goes back to the loading symbol or a white screen. Its been like this for 24 hours and is unresponsive. Please help.

How do you fire a button click event on apex page from fancybox iframe that was created by page

I am trying to fire off the button click event from fancybox iframe. The apex page has a button that launches a fancybox iframe which is loaded with an APEX form. On close of that fancy box, I am trying to fire a click event on the parent page which will refresh a div with html that is created with plsql. The button on the page works as expected when clicked from the page. It will show a debug alert message to prove it was called and then load the div with the correct data. I am unable to fire off this button click from the fancybox iframe when it closes.
A couple of points:
I using Plug-in: Execute PL/SQL Code and Return Content ("PLUGIN_MULEDEV.SERVER_REGION_REFRESH") to place the create fancybox statement. It is used to populate a div using plsql.
The name of the button on the main page is P2020_REFRESH_SECTION_BUILDER_BTN.
The click dynamic action on the button is calling the plugin to replace the html in the div.
The data in the form in the fancybox is being saved to the database. On close of the fancybox box I want to refresh the div so the new record is included in the div html.
Can anyone help. Here is the fancybox code:
