LoadVars on Oracle Web Server

Hi!
I developed a web page on flash that sends an loads variables
(using LoadVars) and tested it successfuly on a ASP server page.
But it does not work on an Oracle Web server page. As an example,
if I call this page, nothing is loaded on flash:
http://www.credconstrucao.com.br/webcred/pck_crm.prc_resultado?cpf=14587565259
Is there any special config that I must set so it will work?
Thank you very much!

Hi,
Add CoreDumpDirectory "/your directory" in httpd.conf and let
< LoadModule swe_module modules/libmod_swe.so
uncommented then it works. This is a known bug # 12-1J73A00 for OHS

  • Oracle FileSync: not able to find the Oracle Web Server

    Hi,
    I am having the OCS 10.1.2.3.0 on a Linux server. I am not able to create a mapping in the Oracle FileSync
    While Adding a mapping in the Web Server mapping wizard
    the http://<server>:<port>/<DAVRoot> i have given as per my server settings as http://server.domain.com:7778/content/dav
    but it is showing the error as
    The URL you have entered is not a valid Oracle web server
    Is this because of the Web Listener is not running in the server.. How to clarify this..?
    Thanks,

    Hi Arnaud,
    Yes , Oracle FileSync is a separate tool that can be used to Map folders in the web server and synchronize the files
    The issue is when i was trying to create a mapping, it ask for the Web Server URL for the first time
    its format is http://<webserver>:<port>/<DAVROOT>
    when I tried with my OCS server : server.domain.com
    Port: 7778
    DAVROOT: cmsdk/content or content/dav
    its showing that the WebServer you entered in the URL is not a valid Web Server
    NB: **** I am facing the same issue with the Oracle Messenger also..
    -- How can i verify that the Oracle Web Server is up in Linux and the Web Port that is listening..?
    Please update...

  • Upgrade from Oracle Web Server to Oracle 9ias(9.0.4).

    Hi,
    I want to upgrade Oracle Web Server to Oracle 9ias(9.0.4).
    Can anybody please tell me what are the pre-requisites for this and where can I find the documentation for this?
    Regards - Sachin

    Hi Sachin,
    If you are indeed running Oracle (Web) Application Server 4.0.8.2 or similar, the best way to upgrade will depend on what applications that you are running.
    There are upgrade guides from Oracle (Web) Application Server to Oracle Internet Application Server 1.0 as well as guides from 8i to 9i and 10g avaliable under documentation here at OTN.
    The latest version avaliable right now is 10.1.2.0.2. It might make sense to go to 10.1.2.0.2 than to 9.0.4 at this time.

  • Problem running Forms on Oracle Web Server 3.0

    I have implemented Developer/2000 forms on Oracle Web Server 3.0 (Non Cartridge Implemetation). Whenever there are multiple client request for the form, Forms server raised the Dr watson error (windows NT 4.0).
    Kind request to anybody who has solution for the above.

    Someone got the same message on a Suse 6.0. On a redhat 5.x, the
    required files (libraries) are in packages
    libstdc++-2.8.0-8
    libstdc++-devel-2.8.0-8 (? may not be necessary)
    You can get the above packages on redhat ftp and mirror sites.
    Again, oracle on linux is really "RedHat-ish"!!!

  • Oracle Web App Server performance problems

    I am evaluating Oracle Web Application Server 3.0 and while
    everything seems to work ok, the performance is noticeably
    slower than Oracle Web Server 1.0 or 2.0. I have narrowed the
    problem down to the access/execution time to a database
    package. In other words, the PL/SQL code I have built does not
    contain any Oracle SQL statements. The package simply builds a
    small web page. If I had to guess, I would say it appears to be
    related to either a log-in to Oracle (which does not take that
    long in a ProC program) or excessive child process creation
    overhead (other programs like Apache handle this just fine). I
    created the package in the www_user account, set a virtual path
    of /test/owa/ to access it and while the page displays
    correctly, it takes about 12 to 13 seconds to do so.
    I'm running Linux on a Dell 400 MHz Pentium II with 1 Gb of
    ram. I have tried changing the cartridge configuration so that
    it starts with 2 processes instead of the default 0. This
    helped some after the first execution of the package (response
    time went from 12 seconds down to about 7). I am running it
    without security on the virtual path (I thought maybe that was
    slowing things down). I tried setting the user sessions to true
    (default was false) and setting a timeout of 1200. None of
    these things helped (nor did they make it any worse).
    On an old HP system (much slower SQLPlus response time than this
    Dell system), web pages fly at a pretty good speed using PL/SQL
    and version 2 of the web server. Except for the actual database
    query time to perform SQL queries, pages display in subsecond
    time frames; not 12 seconds.
    Please give me some idea how to improve the performance.
    Obviously, something is different with 3.0 than the older wrb
    and server.
    Thanks,

    Hi Recco,
    I hope I'm wrong , I think XP is not supported for AS.
    The second thing is U have not enough memory to run AS, that why U will always get problem with Java.
    The third thing is about your Env. I mis jre path
    ex. at your user profile & system profile just put for example
    ORACLE_HOMe just give your oracle software home
    by PATH U need to say for example c:\oracle_HOME/jre/1.4.2/bin

  • Use apache webserver instead of oracle http server in EPM 11.1.20?

    Is it possible to configure enterprise performance management 11.1.20 with apache webserver instead of using the default oracle http server and if so, can someone point me to the instructions for how to set this up?

    Wow. You really need to keep going back to check the certification matrix, huh. The version I have shows that Apache is supported. Apparently that was deleted on 7/28.
    I don't think it should matter much, though, since Oracle HTTP server is Apache under the covers.I ran into this when I had to use the IBM HTTP web server, which is also Apache under the covers. when you look at httpd.conf, it looks just like Apache. So, I would guess that whatever configuration you did with the Apache web server you will also be able to do with the Oracle web server.

    We too were receiving Dr. Watson consistently when launching our

    We have been very sucessful with the same configuration using NT

    Finally, Oracle notified us that for Service Pack 4 a special

  • Install PS Web Server / Weblogic?

    Installing PTools 8.48...
    I chose to install Weblogic web server, per the installation guide. When I install PTools, one window asks which servers I'll be installing, and one of the options is PeopleSoft Web Server.
    Should I check this? Is this a PS component that works with the selected web server, or is it yet a fourth alternative to the three (Weblogic, WebSphere and Oracle web server) that have already been offered?

    When you are installing the Peopletools, the Installer ask you if your server will be an Application server, a Batch server, a File server and a Web server.
    That has nothing to do with the webserver software you are choosing to use, this is very separate.
    Those options are to install or not the Peopletools' associated components.
    So, if you checked the Web server, the Installer will install all the components you need later to deploy the PIA.
    Separately of the Peopletools installation, install your prefered Webserver software (mainly WebSphere or Weblogic), then go to for the PIA deployement. That'll prompt you the Webserver vendor you choosed to use, and the HOME directory of that one.

    Nicolas.

  • Client-cert auth impl in web.xml does not work in Oracle Application Server

    Hi,
    I am new to implementing security features on the web applications.. I have developed a new web service using jdev1012 and deployed in OAS 10.1.2. Its working fine according to the business requirements, but I am in need of implementing client-cert authentication to enable the web service available to only those who have client certificate.
    My server details are:
    Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2)
    Server certificate is in place and SSL mode have been already enabled.. able to access my web service through https://<mydomain.com>/myws/TreqWS as well able to see the WSDL file through https://<mydomain.com>/myws/TreqWS?WSDL.
    I tried to include the following in my web.xml file as part of implementing CLIENT-CERT authentication.
    <security-constraint>
    <display-name>SecurityConstraint</display-name>
    <web-resource-collection>
    <web-resource-name>WSCollection</web-resource-name>
    <url-pattern>/*</url-pattern>
    </web-resource-collection>
    <user-data-constraint>
    <transport-guarantee>CONFIDENTIAL</transport-guarantee>
    </user-data-constraint>
    </security-constraint>
    <login-config>
    <auth-method>CLIENT-CERT</auth-method>
    <realm-name>WSCollection</realm-name> <!-- am not sure about this realm-name and its purpose -->
    </login-config>
    It is not woking as expected, though I have restarted my oc4j container after including this content to the web.xml file. i.e, I am able to invoke the web service though my sample java client program, though I donot have client certificate/keystore.
    I believe I am missing something..Can anyone help me in this regard to implement CLIENT-CERT authentication successfully?
    Thanks,
    Ms
