Localization problem, changing the language
I have now menus with two language. (Portal 8.1.3) The page tab names change fine by browser language, but is there any solution to change language with submit button? Like clicking the language flag image? (Tabs localization is done with portalAdmin web tool)
In other frameworks, there usually is a key name+value, which should save in session, but I can't find anything like that from Portal.

When I change the language in p1 , the language is also modified in p2, p3 and p4
however , after a navigation in p2, p3 and p4 , once I come back in p1 , the default language is back automatically although I did not touch the language bar!!
I don't know how to solve the problem
to my mind , the script reset itself each time I come back on p1
is there a way to keep the saved settings even when I am back on p1 until I modify manually again the language bar

I installed Windows 10 Technical Preview with original language settings for the US region.
No that I need my Windows localized to Espanol - Spanish.
I type "language' in Cortana, select Add language to this device and click Add a language on the Region & language.
Then I select added language and click Set as primary.
After the restart I see that while Windows Explorer is displayed in Spanish, Start menu is displayed in English (including app sections such as Explore Windows), as well as Modern apps that have retained their English names (such as Mail).
I even set the location to Spain in regional settings (although I didn't like the idea, as I want to browse the US market). To no avail.
How do I change the language of the Start menu and modern apps?

What I did:
1. Downloaded and attached Espanol edition of Windows Setup ISO.
2. Started setup.exe from that ISO.
TIP: If need be, you can downgrade your installation of Windows 10 Enterprise Technical Preview to Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview by changing two registry values, EditionID and ProductName. You may use the following registry file on Windows 10 Enterprise

I DO remember them but Apple chose to put them in Japanese and I can not change the language on Manage my Apple ID so I do not know if I made an error ,it threw me off , it was the wrong question Where did you fly to on your first Aiplane trip ? then I was unable to enter until 8 hours then called Apple Japan 4 times each time threy asked me would you like to speak with an English speaker,I said yes then they told me sorry today is Sunday no English speakers ,but they refused to speak Japanese, then I called 5th time and a kind guy could speak English we were on 1and 1/2 hours he got me to log in but the reset key chain could not be completed still pending.
He said do not mess with that ! then I got a text from somewhere to reset 4 pins suddenly it was very strange I said to him that I got this pin this morning but it said you can use maximum 3 hours it had a UK number and I told him I do not like this and will not enter the code he said do not do it if it is from the UK and then I said to him ok you did a lot to help but we can not go any further ! and we cut of I went back to my computer to re do the ID but I found everything a mess so I call and a stupid sounding Japanese women with a squeaky voice came on I was calm at first and they want your phone number your IMEI number your iPhone serial number date of birth Address email address it takes 10 munutes to check then they ask what are you caling about so I try to explain my keychain is broken or problems with language security questions and can not change my pasword because the security question have failed me so it is ONE BIG HEADACHE AND I START I GET STRESSED she says Do want an ENGLISH speaker ,I say yes ,that guy i talked to earlier but I never got his name and first time I ever talked to him but they said he is not here so I said ok and then she said today is sunday so call back in the morning ,I said ,well ok in Japanese but they make you feel stupid because they do not want to speak Jap@anese with none natives and they are to busy,And they feel that I should not bother them ,then I say that Apple Japan is trying to refuse Apple foreign customers and then she wants to hang up and ask me to visit the shop ,but they are the same I have a very bad time with Apple Japan since they do not discuss software problems or security with customer meaning if you have a problem they ask you to come on a time 20 minutes max so they do hardware test and say you phone is fine then I say no I can not reset my ID they say you must call call centre so I am going around in circles ,When I call English it is usually Australia so if my problem is in Japan surely if do not want me to talk to them in Japanese and they ask me to call Australia but every time my call charge is expensive after asking them is this free because I have Apple care they say yes but when the call goes to Australia 0120 277 535 it might change to paid call so I call then I have to ask is this charging they say we can not give you that information ! so what can I do I have have been at the computer and phone all day on my day off work and in tre week I am so busy and can not use my phone I can not work without it ,this new technology for you ,they can not cope with the fact that the customer have problems yet they do not want to deal with us because they can not solve it and so it shows them to be useless they like to walk around in their cool tee shirts and retro shop but when it comes to functionality we are unwelcome they got the money so do not return because apple is perfect that nothing should go wrong .
But it does somehow my English security answers do not work on a Japanese Question especialy if I did not choose that question I set up the multiple choice In English and wrote the answers in English or Roman and set them langauge preferences in English, do you really think you can correctly write english name or word in Japanese they write a police patrol car pato caa パトカア they do not have r and l .So it is my choice to make my security easy for me and as difficult for others to hack.But they also have patororoo choo meaning ' now patrolling ' so why they have pato caa patrol car and patoro patrol and have thousands of Chinese words kanji they can find patrol.
I am getting off the topic but I am at a loss to fix this problem when they hold the keys and i have all the info to verify my ID.You have to enter the Apple ID and password. You are running into the Activation Lock

Hi All,i am currently working on a flex application that will allow the user to change the language within the application from english to Japanese and vice versa. And everything works fine.
I am using flex 4.5
We allow the user to save records with english or japanese texts.
problem
When the user manually enters Japanese text and tries to save it the record defaults back to the default name (which is in english). But if you copy the entered text and paste it and then save it.It works fine.
Any idea , why this is happening?
Please let me know if the question is not clear.

If its a gateway configuration for your site domain then single page for all layout will work , but if you are using button code for all renditions then you would need to create separate pages for all.

How can I change the language in Motion 5 from German to English
Hi Folks,
I just bought Motion 5 and I am eager to learn. I also bought some video tutorials about the program.
Now my problem is, that motion is set to German, since I live there and that's my native language. But the tutorials are english. so in order for me to understand the program even better; i'd like to change the language in motion to english without changing my whole system.
Ist that even possible?

Ok, I figured out whats the problem. I configured Netflix on my smart TV (LG 47LW6500) and gives me the option to choose audio and subtitles. Then configured my preference on the Netflix web page and set default audio to english. And it is actually working with an exception, the default audio will be english unless there is an other language that has better audio, for example, if the movie has 3 languages English (Stereo), Spanish (Stereo) and Portuguese (Stereo) english will be default, but if the theres a case were 1 of the languages is not stereo but better, as 5.1 Dolby, the better audio will be automatically selected as default, for example if English (Stereo), Spanish (Stereo) and Portuguese (5.1 Dolby), then the movie will play in Portuguese, no matter what your default preference is.
There is no way to fix this, because the ATV does not give the option to change the audio language on Netflix (It does on iTunes), and and Netflix App is omitting the web page preferences and the ATV preferences. Basically is and App problem, I don't know who developed the App, but the problem is definitely the app, that has not implemented all of the options the API allows. -

I'm leaving in Korea and while having my whole computer in English and even iTunes and Quicktime set in English, the Software Updater is in Korean (which is not very useful as I can't really work my way through it).
_I know_ there has been a post about not solving the problem but avoiding it by changing the language settings, but I still need to keep Korean as a language for non-unicode in my settings as I am still working with some Korean software and else my whole display is just filled with question marks. And trust me, Korean and GoogleTranslate is better than just question marks...
So, any idea ? Or maybe some developper passing by willing to add a little menu or at least give the change to download the updater in English ?
Anyway, thanks for any help you may be willing to give !but ASU re-installs automatically the language files after reboot when I launch the program
(mutter mutter) My fault, sorry. I assumed that ASU wasn't using advertised shortcuts. We've still got a shot at this, I think.
Try deleting all but the en.lproj folders again.
Now head back into the main Apple Software Update program files folder. Right-click on SoftwareUpdate.exe and select "Create shortcut". Rename the shortcut as you please ("English ASU" perhaps?) and drag it out onto the desktop.
Reboot, and now try launching ASU by doubleclicking on the "English ASU" (or whatever) shortcut. Does it launch in English this time?
(With an advertised shortcut, before launching the program a check is run against the installation database to check to see that all the program files and registry entries that ought to be present are indeed present. If there are some missing, a repair install of the program will run in order to replace the missing files and whatnot. That's what caught us last time. But if we launch her from an ordinary shortcut, then we should be able to avoid the repair install replacing all the missing language resources.) -

Problem with the language on certain apps
Hello,
I just restored my iPhone. After I open the phone at the first time after I restored it, it asked me what language I want to use on my phone, in a mistake I clicked chinese. Then I clicked go back and chose my language, and I did the process to set up the phone after the restore.
I downloaded some apps but some apps is in chinese and some apps in the right language they should be(for example Facebook, Quickoffice and Skype is in chinese. Google, Google drive and ebay in the right language). What do i need to do to fix the problem? I need to restore again?

Music List is not ordered alphabetical when I changed the language
I changed the language from Turkish to English and I have seen that the list of the songs is not ordered alphabetical.
A song whose first letter is J and it is in the K list.
A song whose first letter is Q and it is in the R list.
How I can solve this problem.I restarted my iphone and re sync and it doesnt work. I tried reset all setting doesnt work. I will try remove all folders apps and songs. Maybe solved. if this doesnt work I'll wait 4.2 .

I got my series number from my Institut (which is in Paris, FR). I do not use Creative Cloud.

The thing is I live in Germany and was about to buy a film on iTunes —for the first time as currently stated— but I wouldn't like to have the film dubbed in german —which is how they normally have them here—, instead, I'd like to have it in its original language; english. ¿How could I do this? ¿Is it even possible to change the language even though I'm on the german store/live in Germany? Just bought an Apple TV from the France Apple store. I've got a few films that I've purchased from the iTunes store too. The ones I've purchased there are both in English and French. Not all films are done in two languages but it seems that if the original version is in English, then it will have both.
As for switching between two languages, I just ran into that problem. I sent the video from my laptop to the Apple TV. On my computer it would play in English but played on the TV, it would play only in French.
Solution, you don't have a simple menu icon to click on, or button on the Apple TV remote. You'll have to go into settings --> audio and video -- > Audio Language (or subtitle language if you are looking for that).
If it is set to "Default" it chooses the language you hear. I heard French probably because I bought the film in the French iTunes store. When I chose "English" as the Audio Language, the film switched to English.
I hope this helps you and others who run into the same question.
