Lock screen weather update

Is it possible to get pictorial weather update on lock screen like we get in adroid phones

This missing iOS feature is an incredible overlook by Apple. The "widgets" is a step in the right direction, but they also needs to be applicable and customizable on the lock screen. There's no reason that it shouldn't be. It is completely wasted prime real estate.
Music (I believe iOS handles music on the lock screen), weather, exercise, calendar, etc should all be configurable as a widget on the lock screen. major over looked feature that needs to be addressed.

Lock Screen Weather Location

I am guessing this was an issue that came up as a result of the Lollipop install but in truth I didn't pay much attention to it as it was something that was just "there."
On the lock screen, the time and date are being properly displayed but the weather indicator is going to a different location; specifically to the location where my family lives in South Carolina; I am in Maryland. I went into the Lock Screen Weather setting and changed the setting to "current location," then went around and removed the South Carolna reference anywhere I could locate but the weather on the lock screen is STILL coming up for South Carolina.
Anyone know how I can get this thing to reset itself for my current location os somehow force a location?

Morning...I downloaded two other weather apps and both had no problem pickling up my location; problem is, they only work by touch as a widget and aren't automatic like the installed lock screen app originally installed.
If and when I get time I am going to stop by a Verizon store and see if they have any ideas and will add them here. From what I am seeing in other areas, the Lollipop update seems to be causing a host of other issues that I am also seeing intermittently. This reminds me when the Android OS updated the last time; fortunately I was within my timeframe as I had to get a new phoine since the other one was so badly mangled by the update. Here we go again......

My 4s freezes on the lock screen after updating to ios 7.0.2

Ever since I updated my 4s to the ios 7.0.2 the phone constantly freezes on the lock screen. In just one day it froze at least more than 6 times and made me reset many times using the power and home button just to unlock the phone. Is there a permanent fix for this please help!!!

I tried restore backup but it says that itunes could not restore the iPhone 4s because not enough free space is available on the iPhone.. I did it twice but it kept giving me this message. Should I go ahead and restore as new?

Music player on lock screen after update?

when i lock my iphone instead of the big clock on the lock screen im now getting the music player instead how can i remove this as its really bugging me i prefer having the clock instead. recent update to ios 8.0.2

no that was not it - I eventually found out by a thorough review of the user guide Settings - Sound & notification, When device is locked Don't show notifications at all. However, I came across a new problem: When the setting above is activated the icon(s) from incoming notifications is hidden by the mobile service provider icon in the status bar when screen lock is on. When the screen is unlocked the icon from the incoming notification is showing. It is not possible to manage the mobile service provider icon like fx. alarm, wi-fi, clock etc.. I have tried 'To manage status bar icons' from the user guide Do you know if it is at all possible to remove the mobile service provider icon from the lock screen ?

Locking screen after update

just updated my Iphone 5S and it locked on the screen showing the charging connector and a red itunes logo.... ??? tried everything I know any help.... I searched thru other questions but did not see another one like this... tried to ipdate from 8.1.1 to 8.1.2.... miss it

If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Your phone is in recovery mode, you must restore your phone via iTunes to get out of it.

Camera App Won't Launch from Lock Screen after update

After updating to ios 8 and then 8.1 my camera app will not launch from the lockscreen. When I swipe up on the camera app I see my home screen wallpaper until I press the home button or the lock button.

After erasing and setting up as a new device, your device is now in a factory configuration. Test to determine if erasing and setting up as a new device resolved the issue. Content on the device may have caused unexpected behavior.

N95 keypad lock, screen stops updating?

When running a sample application that moves a ball around the screen and the keypad gets locked, the application freezes and the screen dims. When the keypad is unlocked, the app continues from the point it left. I can't find an explanation anywhere on the behavior of the phone when keypad lock is on. I would like to have an app keep running normally without the screen dimming, even if the keypad is locked.
Questions:
Is there any documentation on the behavior of the n95 when keypad lock is on?
Is there any way to keep an application going w/ keypad locked?
Can the backlight be set to stay at the level the application had it set to when the keypad gets locked?
Is connectivity (i.e. bluetooth) also affected when the keypad is locked?

try this
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings (or for network connection issues 'reset network settings').
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).

Image does not show in lock screen after updating to ios7

when i first downloaded ios7 the lockscreen was showing the selected wallpaper. Now it is missing. Any one else having this issue? Any ideas? I have rebooted and that did not work.

Advertisements on lock screen?, Advertisements on lock screen?

I am now seeing a small advertising bar on the bottom of my lock screen after updating to IOS 7.1. Has any one else noticed this? The ad is under the unlock swipe bar. how do i make this go away?

iOS 7.1 does not put any advertisements on your lock screen. That's most likely one of your applications. You can try resetting your settings to see if it helps: Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

IOS6 Auto Brightness on lock screen not when unlocked

Auto brightness working only on the lock screen after updating to iOS6. Opposite of what it used to be. When I unlock the phone in a dark room it's now nice and dim on lock screen but goes bright as soon as it's unlocked.

So after updating my ipod touch 3rd gen to 4.3.1 i noticed a lag everytime i turn it back on. it stays on the lock screen for minutes sometimes hours. the screen is usually unresponsive the only things usually changing are the time and battery percentage.

so aafter upsating my touch to 4.3.1 i have noticed everytime i restart the ipod there is a huge lag at the lock screen. the screen only updates itself every three to five minutes only updating the time and battery status. i cannot do anything, usually it will stay like this for minutes sometimes hours. i have tried restoring it and thought updating will fix the problem but it hasn't yet. i currently have ios 4.3.3. recently i had a friend look into the ipod and he told me on a folder called damaged files he found this, 37c3ad com.apple.autowake.plist. how can i fix this?

We aren't Apple, just users like you. Have you tried a reset? Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

TS3694 After updating to iOS 6.1.2, iPhone 5 got problems which are lock screen, Sounds, syncing iTunes?

After updating to iOS 6.1.2, iPhone 5 can't connect to iTunes. When i am trying to connect, then i can connect. After secods, the phone is not connecting with iTunes again. Then Automatically connect to iTunes again by itself.
My sound works with headphones, the alarm works, ringer works but can not listen to any music/videos without headphones plugged in.
Then lock screen bugs; bypass fumble. When I start to open the iPhone and swiping is heavily to do on the slide to unlock. What's the matter with it?

i am confused in last line you wrote,

i did not understand last sentence - if i have one? you mean to say if i have data or not in my iphone?
i have many pictures, messages, contacts which are very much important.
so will it be all restore and will be backup again in my iphone if i restore?
