  • LSMW Vendor Load - Including Email Address

    Hello Experts,
I am using LSMW to load vendors from a legacy system into SAP using the following:
    *Batch Input Method
    *Object 0040
    *Method 0001
    *Program RFBIKR00
Now, I understand that RFBIKR00 does not support the ARD6 table for email addresses, which brings me to my question.  Is there a way for me to load vendor email addresses after the vendor is initially created, with a BAPI perhaps?  I have looked into BAPI_ADDRESSPERS_CHANGE, and have not been able to make it function.  I do not know what values to use for the following:
    OBJ_TYPE
    OBJ_ID
    OBJ_ID_EXT
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Kohl Kemp

    Hello Kohl Kemp ,
Were you able to load the vendor email address via recording?
When I tried it, I do not see the email address field. Please let
    me know what you did.
    Thanks.

  • Asset:load

    Hi,
    for
    asset:load
from database which table will be queried for retriving the data.
    Thanks in advance

    Hello,
This tag is mainly used (and should only be used) to query Basic assets.
After you have created basic asset say - "TestBasicAsset", tablename with same name is created.
Hence, with asset:load tag, you can query an asset either with type+objectid attribute or name+type+value attribute. You have to provide this tablename - TestBasicAsset in type. Check the tag - asset:load
Read about Basic and Flex assets from Developer's Guide - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29542_01/doc.1111/e29634/toc.htm

  • IMPORT ISSUE: "assets loading" but no thumbnails

While in my "work" library during a recent image import, I get the "assets loading" text and spinner, but once the processing is over I have a blank screen: no thumbnails at all.
I made a new library to test if they'd show up there- they do.
But I'd like them to import into the work library.
(Of potential relevance, I recently sucessfully recreated and transfered all my libraries to accomodate a problem I had with Nikon D600 RAW images showing as unsupported file format)...

What is the format of the drive you transferred to?  Mac OS X Extended (Journaled)?  If it's a FAT32 drive you're going to have problems of this sort.

  • Business partner migration using lsmw direct load .

    Hi,
We need to do business partner migration using the direct load method.
We are thinking of using direct input method of lsmw for the data transfer.
Could someone suggest a proper object/ subobject for the same.
Alternatively has anyone done the same using LSMWbapi or LSMWidocs.
Inputs will be highly appreciated <<text removed>>

    Hi ,
Does this solution give any way to update the customer fields too ?
We have few customer fields added to BUT tables ... How can we update these fields using LSMW and IDOC ?
Could you please give your opinion on thesame.

  • Problem in lsmw while loading the data

    hi,
I am trying to load the mm data by using batch input in LSMW,when i am trying to load the data views are not populating automatically ,while recording is there any other way to select, kindly give me idea, its urgent issue.
    Thanks,
    Rammohan.

    Hi Rammohan,
ya its better to use the existing bapi from the list rather than using the batch input recording for the mm data. There is one standard bapi existing, try to use that othewise its very much difficult to do it in case of views with batchinput

  • LSMW to Load - Equipment Task List/Operations/Inspection Characteristics

    Hello Experts,
Any suggestions on standard LSMW load program for this. The Standard batch Input - 0470/IBIP program does not have the option to load Maintenance Package and Inspection characteristics.
    Any other suggestions please.
    Thanks

    Hi Ananthram,
instead of using the standard batch input program, you could also create a new recording that performs exactly the tasks you need. Mark "Batch-input-recording" and click on Overview. From there, you can start recording your transactions.
I hope this helps and solves your issue.

  • LSMW for loading characteristics

I have created an LSMW object for loading characteristics, using RCCLBI02, CL20.  The porblem is when loading multiple characteristics for a material in a single class, after loading the 1st characteristic, it tries to create the class (again), thus errors out.  See example below:
    Material____class___     characteristic_______     value
    A_________Engines__STEEL_____________Y
    A_________Engines__MGR_______________A
1st record loads fine, 2nd record errors out, since it is trying to create class Engines, which already exists.
How can one get around this?  Ultimate desire is to just load the characteristics and values, as I have created the class itself with a different LSMW load.
    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hi,
Please let me know in how many data files you are supplying the data??
In your example you need 2 files. For ex:
    1. Header:
    Material____class
    A_________Engines
    2. items / Characteristics:
    Material____class___ characteristic_______ value
    A_________Engines__STEEL_____________Y
    A_________Engines__MGR_______________A
I believe you have used following LSMW object:
    Object               0130   Classification
    Method               0001   Batch input
    Program name         RCCLBI02
    Program type         B   Batch input
    Hope this helps.

  • Standard LSMW to load Routing Long text

We are migrating data to sap for Routings. We are using SAP best practices to load the data into sap using idocs. But we dont have idoc structure to load Long Text.
Do you know a LSMW standard direct input to upload the routing long text.
    Please help me out.

Yes, you can upload long texts to pretty much any application, routings, boms, material masters, etc.
In LSMW select the following direct input method:
    Object               0001   Long texts
    Method               0001   (No selection)
    Program Name         /SAPDMC/SAP_LSMW_IMP
    Program Type         D   Direct Input
You can define the following as constants in field mapping and conversion rule.
    TDOBJECT C(010) Text: 'ROUTING'
TDID C(004) Text ID : 'PLKO'           <<< if you're uploading to header
    TDSPRAS C(001) Language : 'EN'
TDFORMAT C(002) Paragraph format for text line : '*'
If you want upload to operations etc look at the following table
    ROUTING     PLFH     Long Text
    ROUTING     PLFL     Long Text
    ROUTING     PLFT     Long text
    ROUTING     PLFV     Long Text
    ROUTING     PLKO     Long Text
    ROUTING     PLPH     Long text
    ROUTING     PLPO     Long Text
internally SAP stores, routing group with zeros padded on the left. For example if your routing group is 200 it will be stored as 00000200 so in your flat file either you have to pad the zeros or in the LSMW you need to use the conversion exit function module.
You can following link below if you want to deeper understanding on this subject.

  • Runtime asset loading - best practice

    Hello,
I'm creating my first mobile air app, to start with it's going to be on ios then I hope to launch on Android and other platforms. I'm wondering is it a good idea to load my bitmap assets during runtime as and when I need them or is it advised to load them all at once upfront and store in memory?
I guess obviously it's going to depend on how many, how big, whether items are reused etc but would be great to get an overview of other peoples general approach.
    Thanks is advance!

If your object pooling (creating assets up from before game play), I don't think there is any performance gain from embedding or loading a bitmap from an external source, with the exception of file size if your loading tons of bitmaps and dont want to package them with the application. I could be wrong though!!!
In my opinion, once you create a new bitmap instance, and its on the display list or ready to be used, it shouldn't matter how you had retrieved it..( i think)
Depending on what your doing, you may want to load your bitmaps first to store in memory (create a pool)...  if they are going to be used soon enough that is.
for example if you have a mario brothers type game with character and recyclable enemy's,coins, terrain pieces... I would recommend to create them all at the start of the level. You don't want to be creating new...() instances during game play, but do you want EVERYTHING in the app created up front? most likely not.
My personal "technique" is to pool all my game objects up front. If the user goes into the game menu, i am often creating new instances/bitmaps at that time, then calling dispose() and setting things to null when the leave the menu to attempt to save memory.

  • LSMW to load Additional Data....

    Hi All,
I  uploaded some GL accounts using the LSMW tool.Unfortunately i need to load additional Data-the Commitment items which was not captured initially. How do i upload this additional data-commitment items using LSMW to its field?
I cannot do this manually as i have over 2000 recorded.

You can use LSMW with the following parameters:
Object: 0010 GL A/C Master Record
Method: 0001 Hier. structure or 0002 Flat structure
    Program Name: RFBISA00
Within the structure you can assign TCODE = 'FS02' to change the GL account. Commitment item is FIPOS.

  • LSMW GL Load using RFBISA00

When loading GL entries using LSMW direct input program RFBISA00.  What is the difference between using the flat structure or the hierarchical structure?  Why are there two file structures for input?
    Thx

The result is the same, but why there are the two options...I'd say depending on the structure of your source data you would choose the hierarchical or flat target, so the mapping process can be a little easier.

  • Background asset loading

    hi all,
I would like to implement a caching of sorts, where the
initial app loads with some assets. After this I would like to
downlaod the reset of the assets in the background while the user
is using the application. I have quite a few images that have
transitions on them when shown/hidden and would like them available
    so the transitions always work.
Eventually i would like to databind to an event that fires
when the assets is ready and enable menuitems on this event, thus
enabling the navigation as the content becomes available.
    Kind regards,
    Maurice

    You can't. Welcome to java.
