LV 2012 Calling FPGA method node with reference 0x000000 does not return error

Why is it the case that when an FPGA reference is initialised with a constant (resulting in it having the value 0x000000), it doesn't return an error when passed to a method node?
I'm having some weird behaviour in my code where 99% of the time when run, it doesn't function correctly (the reference is deemed valid despite being 0x000000) and then when initialised to an actual running FPGA, the FPGA doesn't seem to respond to commands.
Edit: Further to the message, linking the reference to a NaN/Reference comparison returns true. So it's detected as being not a reference, but yet the method node doesn't see this as an error.

Hi Alex,
Can you please post a screenshot of the portion of your Host vi where you are creating the FPGA reference?
Thanks,
Allie

  • JDWP reference implementation does not return anonymous nested classes?

    Using
    $ java -version
    java version "1.6.0_22"
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_22-b04)
    Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 17.1-b03, mixed mode, sharing)
    it appears that when I connect with JDWP and issue a NestedTypes command, the result does not include anonymous nested types. The only references to this that I could find is a comment in a svn commit at apache (http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/harmony-commits/200611.mbox/%[email protected]%3E)
    Is this intentional and desired? Is there a way to get all of the nested types, including the anonymous ones? I could do ClassesBySignature with "package.ClassName$*" as the signature and filter out doubly nested classes, but that seems overly complicated.

    exept, you can NOT have an implementation of an
    abstract class (which foundPlugin) is without an
    implementation of all it's subclasses (such as
    argsObject) You're mistaken in a couple of ways here.
    First, a nested class is not the same as a subclass.
    Second, a concrete class must have implementations for all its methods, but it can still have an abstract nested class.
    Third, you can have an instance of a concrete class that has abstract subclasses. Object is concrete and has many concrete subclasses. Classes don't know anything about their subclasses.
    This compiles.
    public abstract class AbOut {
      public abstract class AbIn {  public abstract void bar(); }
    public class ConcOut extends AbOut {
      public abstract class AbIn2 { public abstract void foo();}
    foundPlugin MUST have an implementation
    of argsObject, according to the rules of java,And you think this because...?
    You read it in the JLS? Citation please.
    You tried to compile and it failed? My sample above demonstrates the countereample. If I'm misunderstanding what you're talking about, please post an example
    Or maybe you just thought it had to be that way because that seemed the most intuitive and when it wasn't, rather than trying to understand or adjust your thinking, you figured it would be more fun to throw a hissy fit and call Java "stupid"?

  • Report with Stored Procedure does not return until refresh

    I'm using RAS server 2008 to run many Crystal reports from a web application (TrackWise) over Oracle 10g DB.
    A new report is using a stored procedure that takes several minutes (5-10) to return before the rest of the report's SQL can execute.
    When running the report from Crystal Developer there is no problem,
    but when running from the application (using the RAS), the report seems to be running forever,
    However, if you wait a few minutes for the DB utilization to drop (i.e. for the stored procedure to finish) and refresh - the full report appears on the screen in a second.
    Since I have many other reports that run for much longer time with no issue, I assume that this has nothing to do with the web application, but rather related to the connection between the RAS and the DB (i.e. the idle time between the beginning of the stored procedure execution to its return and the continuation of the report creation).
    I assume that I need to change one of the RAS settings/ parameters (in the properties or in the registry), but which?
    Please assist.

    Since this app is from TrackWise, I'd recommend contacting TrackWise and see if they have an answer for you. As it is, we have no idea how they implemented the CR components in their app. If they cannot help you, it should be them coming here and asking us - or better yet they should be creating a phone incident.

  • Calling oracle function from Access passthrough query does not return list

    Thanks to the help I received in an earlier post I've created an oracle 10g function that returns a list after executing the sql it contains. It works in oracle, using sql developer.
    I need to have the list that it returns show up in MS Access via a passthrough query. It's not working so far. The connection string etc is ok, I'm able to use passthrough queries to run sql strings successfully. But when I try to call the function via the Access passthrough query at first nothing seems to happen (ie no list appears) and if I try to run it again, there is a odbc error 'call in progress. Current operation canceled'. There are only the three records in the table. I'm missing something, can anyone spot it?
    The passthrough query looks like this
    select * from fn_testvalues from dual
    Again that runs in oracle.
    To create the testing table and 2 functions see below.
    CREATE TABLE t_values (MyValue varchar2(10));
    Table created
    INSERT INTO t_values (
    SELECT 'Merced' c1 FROM dual UNION ALL
    SELECT 'Pixie' FROM dual UNION ALL
    SELECT '452' FROM dual);
    3 rows inserted
    CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION fn_isnum(p_val VARCHAR2) RETURN NUMBER IS
    n_val NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    n_val := to_number(p_val);
    RETURN 1;
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
    RETURN 0;
    END;
    Function created
    testing the table:
    SELECT val, fn_isnum(MyValue ) isnum
    FROM t_values;
    VAL ISNUM
    Merced 0
    Pixie 0
    452 1
    Now the function that is called in the passthrough query:
    create or replace function fn_testvalues
    return sys_refcursor is
    rc sys_refcursor;
    begin
    open rc for
    Select t_values.*, fn_isnum(MyValue) IsNum from t_values;
    return(rc);
    end fn_testvalues;

    lecaro wrote:
    OK. But obviously there is some oracle object that one can call via an Access pass-through query which returns rows?Just to clarify. You could fetch data in Access from an Oracle function that returns a ref cursor using VBA editor. To use a pass-through query Oracle function should be a table function or pipelined table function:
    CREATE OR REPLACE
      TYPE testvalues_obj_type
        AS OBJECT(
                  val varchar2(10),
                  isnum number
    CREATE OR REPLACE
      TYPE testvalues_tbl_type
        AS TABLE OF testvalues_obj_type
    CREATE OR REPLACE
      FUNCTION fn_testvalues
        RETURN testvalues_tbl_type
        PIPELINED
        IS
            CURSOR testvalues_cur
              IS
                SELECT  testvalues_obj_type(MyValue,fn_isnum(MyValue)) testvalues_obj
                  FROM  t_values;
        BEGIN
            FOR v_rec IN testvalues_cur LOOP
              PIPE ROW(v_rec.testvalues_obj);
            END LOOP;
            RETURN;
    END;
    /To test it in Oracle:
    SELECT  *
      FROM  TABLE(fn_testvalues)
    VAL             ISNUM
    Merced              0
    Pixie               0
    452                 1
    SQL> Now in Access pass-trough query window enter:
    SELECT  *
      FROM  TABLE(fn_testvalues);SY.

  • MIRO - Invoice Verification with reference to Delivery note.

    Dear All,
    In our organisation we are doing MIRO with reference to Delivery note. As same number of delivery note is being submiited by multiple vendors, after entry of that delivery note in MIRO system shows large list (Closed & Open for MIRO). This becomes difficult to select the required delivery note.
    Is it possible to make display of only those delivery notes against which MIRO (Invoice verification has not done).
    Also MIRO with reference to GRN number is possible or not ?
    Please suggest.

    HI,
    To avoid difficulties post miro with Reference document (PO Reference Tab) - Delivery note click on Radio button a possible entries for delivery note screen will appear. Here you can search specific delivery note by a lot of criteria which will save ur time and effort also you can see MIGO Document.  Click and put tick to adopt and post Delivery note / migo and enter required field.

    Connecting nodes with uninode -apply
    is not taking affect.
    <P>
    There are two problems with the utility uninode. They address different issues
    and require different workarounds. Please review carefully.
    <P>
    <OL>
    <LI>Applying changes to a nodes.ini
    file using uninode where there is a mixture
    of + and - nodes.
    <P>
    There is a problem with uninode where the flag -ALL doesn't completely update
    all of the remote node information. If you are removing a node from a node
    network, keep in mind that it is really a two step process: <P>
    1)Connect to all "+" nodes and remove the "-" node from each of their databases.
    2)Connect to the "-" node and remove the "+" nodes from that database.
    <P>
    The best possible workaround is to run uninode -apply ALL followed by
    uninode -apply all.

    <LI>Applying changes to a nodes.ini

    With this you are forced to use unidbfix -export
    to generate your remotenodes.ini
    file, and then you must manually edit this file as required. Run
    unidbfix -import to
    update the remotenode.dat file.

    HI All,
    I've used the OITM along with the ITM1 and I still receive the "Updated Successful" message but no changes.
    I created another pricelist within SAP B1 Client and updated the prices within that pricelist and it worked just fine.
    I noticed when I queried everything from OPLN that the pricelists that I am trying to import have a different value for "Data Source" which is equal to O, I copied these price lists with Copy Express. The pricelist I created within SAP B1 Client has a Data Source = "I".
    I've included the OITM and ITM file I used which was returning a successful result but no change.

    Any ideas?

  • MIRO (Credit Memo) with reference to delivery note

    Hi,
    Our problem is that we are not able to post miro (credit memo) pertaining to return delivery 122 movemnt type with refrerence to delivery note, however it can be posted with reference to purchase order.
    How can we do it.
    regards
    GR

    Hi,
    Thanks for the answer. Please note down the complete scenario.
    First we made PO of A item for 1000 Pcs, then we post migo and miro for 1000 Pcs. In migo suppose I have entered 123 as delivery note number and I have posted miro withreference to delivery note no. 123.
    Now suppose, we made return delivery of 500 Pcs (122 movemnt) and put delivery note no. 124. Now when I post credit memo (miro) of the return delivery I am not able to post miro with reference to delivery note number, but when I try to post withreference to Po, I am able to post. But I have to change 500 Pcs Qty and its amount manually, which we don't want, we want that the credit memo should be posted withreference to delivery note number as we have posted for 1000 Pcs. and we also want that return delivery qty and value should automatically come in miro screeen.
    Regards
    GR

  • Error on Undeploy:  Application with name "crazy" does not exist.

    I am working with Jdeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.6.0 Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.6.0_GENERIC_111205.1733.6192.
    I have applications that run fine, however when I click on the undeploy, I get the error below. Please keep in mind that this is a simple sample application -- no security. Just one form with reading an HR schema table. Just a sample to try and figure out why I am getting this error. Any ideas?
    1. I have deleted the system folder (repeatedly)
    2. I deleted out my entire C:\Users\stuart\AppData\Local\Temp directory (someone mentioned this in another post)
    3. Reinstalled Jdeveloper.

    Frank,
    Thank you for your answer. I had not checked (will do so tonight).
    I had considered it adequate to wipe out the entire system directory (thereby wiping out the integrated weblogic server), but perhaps it was not adequate? I did not specify that this is on the integrated server, but that is the case....

    Hi,
    This forum is for issues migrating from non-Oracle databases to Oracle.
    It would be better to ask this question in one of the Weblogic servers but as there are several Weblogic forums but it may be better to try this one first -

    Process instance with key '0' does not exist
    Such issue typically appears when the Provisioning is initiated without "Auto Save" i.e. before ORC_KEY entry goes in the OIU table...
    Second possibility can be that the mandatory attributes in the process form are not populated..
    Third possibility can be that the Status is Waiting... And Resource is dependent on another Resource...
    Are you able to Direct Provision the account? I mean without raising Request Based provisioning?
    Please give us following details:
    (1) Resource Profile:-status of Auto Save
    (2) Approval Process:- status of Auto Save and Auto Pre-Pop
    (3) Prov Process:-status of Auto Save and Auto Pre-Pop.
    (4) Is the object form properly populated?
    (5) Is the Process form properly populated?
    (6) Any Exception occurred during Approval process?
    (6) In the OIM Database, fire the following query:-
    SELECT OIU.ORC_KEY
    FROM OIU, USR, OBI
    WHERE OIU.USR_KEY=USR.USR_KEY
    AND UPPER(USR.USR_LOGIN)=UPPER('ABCDEFGH_USER')
    AND OBI.OBI_KEY=OIU.OBI_KEY
    AND OBI.OBI_KEY IN (SELECT OBI.OBI_KEY FROM OBI,OBJ WHERE OBI.OBJ_KEY=OBJ.OBJ_KEY AND
    UPPER(OBJ.OBJ_NAME)=UPPER('AD USER'))
    This will show whether any proper ORC_KEY was generated for this resource instance..
