[LV2013SP1] Strange cluster ordering from a database

Hello,
I'm not an expert in LabView since I come from the
embedded world (C/C++) yet I found something
quite strange when reading from a database.
Here's attached some screen captures of the
database content and structure, then the LabView
diagram with the probe output (yeah, had to stretch
it wide because there is no word wrap option).
Finally there is a little Excel snapshot of the result.
The database reading is performed with a certain
column ordering, the "casting" cluster do mirror
the same order and datatype, yet 'Variant to Data'
scramble things.
And even though I do use dis/assemble cluster
by name to avoid confusion, the resulting cluster
at probe 20 is right. Go figure...
Could someone help and explain what's going
on under the hood ? At least with C/C++ you have
a little grasp on how memory is ordered, but
LabView really bogs me...

Ok, I've found the bug in LabView 2013 SP1.
The 'Pdt_D' cluster had suffered several modifications and
reordering, but 'Variant to Data' doesn't follow the cluster
virtual ordering but the cluster's memory ordering.
In short, if you create a cluster one way, delete members,
add some more, adapted and reorder, the 'Variant to Data'
VI will take the members' order in which they were added
to the cluster, regardless of the hypathetic ordering you
might have specified afterward.
Probably a problem of chained list, one listing the members
as they are added, one listing the members in the specified
ordering, perhaps the bug comes from pointing the wrong
list.
If you delete the 'Pdt_D' cluster, create a brand new cluster
constant, then add one by one the members of the right
datatype, 'Variant to Data' works like expected and dispatch
the variant's data into the belonging members.
There's is no use providing you with a snapshot because
it will all look the same that I have already provided you with,
just that the cluster has been recreated from scratch and
not been reordered. That's a rather annoying spurious bug
you'd better be strong hearthed to deal with.
And for the VI, it's a rather complex proprietary application
I cannot disclose, but I'll create an example VI further in
time so that you can witness it by yourself.
Sorry for not being specific enough with my problem.

  • How to Add Sales order from one database to another database

    Hi All,
    I am trying to add sales order with sales order object.
    I have completed connectivity from one database to another database.
    but i am unable to post sales order with orders object.
    My code is
    ObjSales = objMain.objUtilities.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oOrders)
                ObjSales.DocDate = Date.Parse(System.DateTime.Now().ToString("d"))
                ObjSales.DocDueDate = Date.Parse(System.DateTime.Now().ToString("d"))
                ObjSales.TaxDate = Date.Parse(System.DateTime.Now().ToString("d"))
                ObjSales.CardCode = "C0006"
               ObjSales.Series = 92
                ObjSales.PaymentGroupCode = 3
                ObjSales.Comments = "vivek"
               ObjSales.Lines.Add()
               ObjSales.Lines.SetCurrentLine(1)
               ObjSales.Lines.ItemCode = "5127"
               ObjSales.Lines.Quantity = 100
               ObjSales.Lines.UnitPrice = 10
               ObjSales.Lines.WarehouseCode = "01"
                ObjSales.Lines.TaxCode = "0"
                ObjSales.Lines.DiscountPercent = "0.00"
                ObjSales.DocTotal = 1000
                 If ObjSales.Add <> 0 Then
                   objMain.objApplication.SetStatusBarMessage("Sales or Not Posted", SAPbouiCOM.BoMessageTime.bmt_Short, True)
                   Exit Sub
                else
                  objMain.objUtilities.ShowSuccessMessage("Sales Order Posted successfully")
                End If
    The above code is executing successfully.But the Sales order is not getting added.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Vivek,
    If the code you posted is not throwing any errors, then the order really does get created. Apparently just not to both databases, am I correct ?

    That means that apparently you have not gotten this bit right.
    Generally speaking if you want to create an order into two databases, you first need to connect to both databases and create separate order objects for each database. So you need to do this bit twice; once for each database. Something like this:
    ObjSales1 = objMain.objUtilities1.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oOrders)
    ObjSales2 = objMain.objUtilities2.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oOrders)
    Then at the end you also need to add both objects separately:
    If ObjSales1.Add <> 0 Then
    etc.
    If ObjSales2.Add <> 0 Then
    etc
    Good luck,
    Johan

  • How to delete a purchase order from the database

    PLEASE, do not recommend such, because it is a wrong approach.
    a purchase order has certainly more entries than jsut in table EKKO, and EKPO.  you can check in DB15 how many tables belong to the object MM_EKKO. If you delete jsut entries from EKKO and EKPO, then you create inconsistencies.
    SE16N and &sap_edit, is not anymore possible having current patches installed. SAP revoked this option, because people like you spread this thru the internet and this is causing security issues.
    A phyiscal deletion should only be done via archiving, this is the standard process.
    If you entered something in error, then set the deletion indicator, everybody can do mistakes, but deleting it with irregular options from the database is certainly a much bigger error.

  • Deletion of Purchase Order from Version

    Hi,
    I want to delete a resource at a factory. I have deleted all planning data related to this resource from live version 000 and Copied version.
    When I try to delele resource from the model it gives a message " Res. F313_HAND_RESO, plng ver. ALT_TEST21 has assignments in liveCache - action not possible", which indicates that the resource is still being used in a Purchase Order (PchOrd) which exists in a copied version.
    If I use /sapapo/rlcdel to delete these PchOrd from version, message is displayed "No orders exist in LiveCache". I even tried to delete these PchOrd using transaction "/SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL" (ATP: (SD) - Delete Orders from the Database), but even this program is unable to delete this PchOrd.
    Can one of you throw light as to how i can go about deleting this PchOrd from version?
    Thanks for your help in advance
    Regards
    Amod

    Try report /SAPAPO/DELETE_PP_ORDER giving the appropriate version and select checkbox Products Planned Externally.
    Please note if PO is in active version then this report can not delete it.
    In that case you need to deactivate the appripriate Integration Model, run delta Report which should propose delete of the PO in APO.
    Hope this helps,

  • OSM task web client buttons getting disabled on submitting orders from creation task

    Hi,
               I am relatively new to OSM. I am facing a strange issue. After installing OSM 7.2 in my local machine I have deployed bb_ocm_demo cartridge which comes along with the design studio as a sample cartridge. After deploying the cartridge, I have assigned user to the work group from osm admin and placed an order. After entering data in the creation task, as soon as I am submitting the order by pressing the submit button, all the buttons(including the submit and delete button) are going to disabled mode(characterized by their blurred appearance). Those are preview, full preview, Process History, Change State/Status, Save, Add Remark, Exception.
    The order is not getting submitted and is continuing to remain in the creation task only. From the worklist, it is visible that the order is still in the creation process in Not Started with the creation task in accepted state.
    I would like to add a few more information. I checked the server logs and found the below error:
    'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <oms-internal> <> <0000KAGhR_C5i^WjLxrI8A1I^uCz000001> <1385407331809> <BEA-000000> <cache.GenericTransactionManagerLookup: Failed to perform a lookup for [java:/TransactionManager (JBoss, JRun4)]>
    I am not sure whether it is relevant or not. It is not that this message props up every time I submit an order from creation task.
    I would also like to mention that prior to installing osm, I have carried out the below installation.
    1. Oracle Database 11g R2
    2. Oracle Database Patch 14828076
    3. Opatch 6880880
    4. ODAC 11.2 Release 4 (11.2.0.3.0) with Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio.
    5. jdk-6u37
    6. Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.6
    7. Oracle ADF 11.1.1.5.0
    8. Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse(12.1.1.1.0) (Design Studio)
    9. JBoss-Cache 1.4.1.SP12
    10. Saxon 9-1-0-7
    As a pre-requisite to OSM installation I have granted connect privileges to system with admin option, execute on SYS.dbms_lock to system with grant option, select on SYS.v_$parameter to system with grant option and select on SYS.dba_tablespaces to system with grant option.
    I don't have any clue how this issue is coming up. Any sort of help will be highly appreciated.
    Regards

    Pantelis;
    Are you using the same user-id in both the OM client and the Task client?
    Are all orders in question of the same order type?
    In the Task client, did you select one row per order or one row per task?
    I would be surprised if this had anything to do with it, but is this behaviour only exhibiting in the 2 node cluster or does it happen even when only 1 node is up and running?
    Brian.

  • How to create a Top 10 based on values from a database?

    I have a database table that stores scores for events, like a rating system.
    Users choose an event they want to score, enter their score/rating and insert this into the database table.
    This gives me, in my table:
    Event - Rating - User
    Soccer - 5 - Joe Public
    Soccer - 4.5 - Jane Public
    Tennis - 3 - Joe Public
    ...and so on.
    I would like to do two things.  Firstly, I need to calculate the average for each event, which is easy enough, although I haven't quite got my head around the GROUP BY clause which, as I understand it, only allows me to use one database field?
    Secondly, I would like to display, dynamically from the database, a list of top 10 events based on the results of the average ratings.
    How easy is this to achieve?  I'm using ASP/VBScript and MSSQL database.
    Appreciate any advice offered.  Thanks.
    Regards
    Nath.

    Hi.  Here is what I've got, so far, to calculate the average:
    SELECT     AVG(mgscore) AS mgAVGscore, mgmovieID, mgmovie, mgmovierelease
    FROM         dbo.MGreviews
    GROUP BY mgmovieID, mgmovie, mgmoviecert, mgmovierelease
    How would I then run the RANK function?  Here's the example you provided:
    SELECT RANK() OVER (ORDER BY Age) AS [Rank by Age],
           FirstName,
           Age
      FROM Person
    I've tried this:
    SELECT     RANK () OVER ORDER BY AVG(mgscore) AS mgAVGscore AS [Rank by Score], mgmovieID, mgmovie, mgmovierelease
    FROM         dbo.MGreviews
    GROUP BY mgmovieID, mgmovie, mgmoviecert, mgmovierelease
    ...but this produces the following error:
    Error in list of function arguments: 'AS' not recognized.  Can you help?  I'm not sure I'm quite understanding how the RANK function works.
    Much appreciate.
    Regards
    Nath.

    Well thanks for the hint. Actually, the DB was up but corrupted. I managed to solve the bug by re-deploying xMII (using the SDM tool) which kept all my data but redeployed both the config db of (x)mii and the class files.

  • Error while populating drop down list with values from a database

    Hi all,
    I have a JSP page with a drop down list that is to be populated with values from a database.
    This is the code in my JSP file:
         <!-- Form for picking the floor -->
             <!-- Get the available floors -->
             <% ArrayList<Integer> floornumbers = dataManager.getAllFloorNumbers();
                Iterator<Integer> iterator = floornumbers.iterator(); %>
             <!-- Create the form for users to select the floor -->
             <form id="floorselectionform">
                  <input type="hidden" name="action" value="floorselected"/> <!-- Guides the servlet to redirect to the appropriate page -->
                  Select floor | <select name="floorselector" id="floorselector">
                       <% while (iterator.hasNext()) { %>
                       <option value="<%=iterator.next().intValue()%>"> <%=iterator.next().intValue()%> </option>
                       <% } %>
                  </select>
                  <input type="submit" value="Go!"/>
             </form>   The DataManager.java class simply forwards this to its respective Peer class, which has the code shown below:
          package seatplanner.model;
        import java.sql.Connection;
        import java.sql.ResultSet;
        import java.sql.SQLException;
        import java.sql.Statement;
        import java.util.ArrayList;
        /* This class handles all floor operations */
         public class FloorPeer
         /* This method returns all the floor numbers */
         public static ArrayList<Integer> getAllFloorNumbers(DataManager dataManager) {
            ArrayList<Integer> floornumbers = new ArrayList<Integer>();
            Connection connection = dataManager.getConnection();
            if (connection != null) {
              try {
                Statement s = connection.createStatement();
                String sql = "select ID from floor order by ID asc";
                try {
                  ResultSet rs = s.executeQuery(sql);
                  try {
                    while (rs.next()) {
                      floornumbers.add(rs.getInt(1));
                  finally { rs.close(); }
                finally {s.close(); }
              catch (SQLException e) {
                System.out.println("Could not get floor numbers: " + e.getMessage());
              finally {
                dataManager.putConnection(connection);
            return floornumbers;
         }  The classes compile properly, but when I load this page up in Tomcat it just freezes and does not load the form. I tested the DB connection and it works fine.
    What am I doing wrong in the JSP code?
    Thanks for the help in advance.
    UPDATE: I commented out the form, and added <%=floornumbers.size()%> right above the commented code to check if the ArrayList is indeed getting populated with the values from the database (the values are of type integer in the database). The page still freezes like before. I'm puzzled now :confused: .

    Wrong usage of Iterator.
    <!-- Form for picking the floor -->
             <!-- Get the available floors -->
             <% ArrayList<Integer> floornumbers = dataManager.getAllFloorNumbers();
                Iterator<Integer> iterator = floornumbers.iterator(); %>

                       <% } %>
                  </select>
                  <input type="submit" value="Go!"/>
             </form>or make use of enhanced loop as you are already using J2SE 5.0+ for avoiding confusions.
    <!-- Form for picking the floor -->
             <!-- Get the available floors -->
             <% ArrayList<Integer> floornumbers = dataManager.getAllFloorNumbers(); %>
             <!-- Create the form for users to select the floor -->
             <form id="floorselectionform">
                  <input type="hidden" name="action" value="floorselected"/> <!-- Guides the servlet to redirect to the appropriate page -->
                  Select floor | <select name="floorselector" id="floorselector">

                       <option value="<%=inte.intValue()%>"><%=inte.intValue()%></option>
                       <%}%>
                  </select>
                  <input type="submit" value="Go!"/>
             </form>and a lot better thing would be making usage of basic Taglib provided with JSTL spec or struts spec which make life easier and simple.
    something like usage of <c:forEach/> or <logic:iterate/> would be lot better without writing a single scriptlet code.
    Hope that might help :)

  • Extracting Values of a Field from a Database Table in SAP ECC System

    Hi,
    I downloaded Extracting Values of a Field from a Database Table in SAP ECC System Using MII 12.0
    senario from sdn. I'm trying to do that senario in MII 12.05. But I have problem with section 6 in page 7 (you can supply senario from sdn)
    "6- Under the loop of Repeater, use action u2018Rowu2019 to append just the string part of the WA which will display only values for field u2018Batchu2019"
    I did not find WA elemen in Output element of Repeater_0
    How can I create WA element?
    Thanks.

    Cemil,
    Set up a SAP JCo Interface action block.  Use the RFC name RFC_READ_TABLE.
    In the link editor map the table to "MARA", set RowCount to something small (20 is good sample size) and create an xml transaction property named FIELDS and copy the following into it:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><FIELDS>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>MATNR</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>MTART</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>BSTME</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>XCHPF</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>DATAB</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
        </FIELDS>
    Then link the Transaction.FIELDS to SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Request{/RFC_READ_TABLE/TABLES/FIELDS}.  You may run into problems with two other fields and optionally they can be removed (set link type to remove xml).  I usually remove them initially for testing.  The two fields are:
    SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Request{/RFC_READ_TABLE/INPUT/NO_DATA}
    SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Request{/RFC_READ_TABLE/INPUT/DELIMITER} (or you can set this to something like a semicolon,";" or tilda,"~".  I find it easier to caclulate position by length, but that is my own idiosyncrasy.)
    Once you get this one working, we can explore how to do filtering on the dataset.  Your output should be something like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <RFC_READ_TABLE>
      <INPUT>
        <DELIMITER />
        <NO_DATA />
        <QUERY_TABLE>MARA</QUERY_TABLE>
        <ROWCOUNT>20</ROWCOUNT>
        <ROWSKIPS>0</ROWSKIPS>
      </INPUT>

    Add a repeater sourced on:
    SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Response{/RFC_READ_TABLE/TABLES/DATA/item}
    Link your repeater output to a tracer with this:
    Repeater_0.Output{/item/WA}
    What you will see in each tracer message is a single line of data with all the fields contents concatenated together.  You can look up what each field in the string represents by the length of the field as returned in the Response segment of the RFC_READ_TABLE rfc.  Then you can parse out the data you are interested in.
    Give this a try and let me know how you succeeded.
    By the way, I could not find the scenario you referred to.  Can you post a link?

  • Simple: How to copy a Table from one Database to another?

    I already know how to do it by creating an identical table and then inserting the Data.
    Like so:
    SET IDENTITY_INSERT dByDtMinusC5 ON
    INSERT INTO [DB1]..T1 ([Id], [HbyD] , [K] )
    SELECT [Id], [[HbyD]]] ,[K] FROM [DB2]..T2
    As you can see I need to have T1 in order to copy T2 into DB1. Is there any way that I could auto create T1 and copy T2?
    There are so many forums in sql server Category, I hope I posted in the right one :0 . We need tag system for forums.

    Hi Bhupinder,
    According to your description, you want to copy a table with Primary keys from one database to another database.
    As per my understanding, I think the best method is use Transfer SQL Server Objects Task in SQL Server Integration Services. The Transfer SQL Server Objects task transfers one or more types of objects in a SQL Server database between instances of SQL Server.
    Server roles, roles, and users from the specified database can be copied, as well as the permissions for the transferred objects. Indexes, Triggers, Full-text indexes, Primary keys, Foreign keys can also be copied.
    To use the Transfer SQL Server Objects Task, we should create a SQL Server Integration Services Project in SQL Server Data Tools, then drag a Transfer SQL Server Objects Task to Control Flow pane. Specify SourceConnection, SourceDatabase, DestinationConnection
    and DestinationDatabase for the Connection, select the table in the ObjectsToCopy category, then change CopyPrimaryKeys to True and the other corresponding properties in the task.

  • How to display data from a database to a  JComboBox  JTextField

    Hello
    I was wondering I have a database called "PAYTYPE" and have a colums called
    EMPLOYEETYPE     PAYBASIC     PAYSUNDAY     PAYHOLIDAY     PAYPERIOD
    What i want to do is display the list of EMPLOYEETYPE in a combo box(Which i got this part working),
         try{
              ResultSet rs = db.getResult("Select * FROM PAYTYPE");
              while(rs.next())
                   payTypeField.addItem(rs.getString(2));
              }catch(SQLException e)
              }When an item is selected from the combo box then the information thats in PAYBASIC,PAYSUNDAY,PAYHOLIDAY, PAYPERIOD will be displayed in textfields
    this is the problem im trying to solve
    Any Ideas ??????

    What im trying to do is the following
    on my Gui i have 1 JComboBox and 3 JtextFields
    The Jcombo box is populated by the data base
    try{
              ResultSet rs = db.getResult("Select * FROM EMPLOYEEPAYTYPE");
              while(rs.next())
                   payTypeField.addItem(rs.getString(2));
              }catch(SQLException e)
              }Now that i have the JComboBox filled I want the other 3 JTextField to be populated with the information that been selected by the JComboBox
    I under stand there needs to be a .addActionListener(this) to the JComboBox
                    payTypeField = new JComboBox();
                payTypeField.setBounds(130, 10,100,20);
                payTypeField.addActionListener(this);
                payTypeField.addItemListener(this);
                 c.add(payTypeField);I would just like the steps that i need to take in order to fill the JTextBoxes in pudoscode
    The information that i need will need to be pulled from the database - EMPLOYEEPAYTYPE
    Thanks

  • Inserting or embed and image into cfmail output from a database-stored path to an actual image.

    I am trying to insert or embed and image into cfmail from a database-stored path to an actual image. The actual JPEG image is stored in a folder called "images_personnel". The path to the image under the column titled photopath is stored in my database table as "/file/images_personnel/28.jpg". Displaying the image on the screen renders without a problem, embedding the same image as part of a cfloop query does not insert/embed the image into an email. All of the other output of the same cfloop displays and emails just fine. However none of the photos of each personelle show up. What an I doing wrong?
    My code is below:
    <cfquery name="Staffreport" datasource="master">
    Select staffreport.*, name.personnelid, name.email, name.last, name.noiid, stafflt, CONCAT(name.fname,' ',name.middle,' (',name.last,')') AS teammember, CONCAT(name.fname,' ',name.middle) AS teammember2, concat(name.photopath,'',name.photo)as hisphoto, stafflt.*, trim(concat(ltfname,' ',ltmiddle)) as LT from Staffreport, name, stafflt
    where 0=0
    and stalt = '#Session.user_id#'
    and ltid = '#session.user_id#'
    and staweekbegin = <cfqueryparam value="#form.staweekbegin#" cfsqltype="cf_sql_date" />
    AND staweekend = <cfqueryparam value="#form.staweekend#" cfsqltype="cf_sql_date" />
    AND stapersonnelid = personnelID
    <!---AND ltid = stalt--->
    AND CITY = 'richmond'
    AND STATUS <> 'd'
    AND STATUS <> 'T'
    AND type = 'personnel'
    Group by personnelid
    Order by teammember
    </cfquery>
    <cfmail>...
    <cfloop query="staffreport"><br />
    <table width="90%" border="0" cellspacing="2" cellpadding="4" align="left">
      <tr>
        <td colspan="2" align="center" valign="top" nowrap="nowrap" bgcolor="cccccc"><strong><font color="black"><cfif #staffreport.last# eq ".">#Ucase(Staffreport.teammember2)# <cfelse>#Ucase(Staffreport.teammember)#</cfif> - ID: <cfoutput>#Staffreport.noiid#</cfoutput></font></strong></td>
      </tr>
    <tr>
        <td align="left" valign="top" nowrap="nowrap" bgcolor="#000000">Name:</td>
        <td>#Staffreport.teammember#</td>
      </tr>
    <tr>
        <td bgcolor="E6E1FD">Photo:</td>
        <td bgcolor="EBEBEB">
    <img src="#staffreport.hisphoto#" alt="Photo" width="98" height="98">
    </td>
      </tr>
    <tr>
        <td bgcolor="E6E1FD">Email:</td>
        <td bgcolor="EBEBEB">#staffreport.email#</td>
      </tr>
    </table>
    </cfloop>
    </cfmail>

    You'll need to provide a full URL link to the image ("http://mywebserver/file/images_personnel/28.jpg"), not just a relative path.  Remember, the email client that is used to view the email content knows nothing of the internals of your web server - it can only follow a complete URL to get images and other resources.

  • Calling an Oracle Report from a database trigger

    At the moment I have an Oracle form with a timer checking a table for new orders. when
    the form finds new orders an oracle report is run from the form (sending it to the printer directly) with the run_product procedure with parameters being passed also.
    Is there a way to run the report directly from a database/table trigger (also passing parameters)? or failing that how about a batch file or something.
    Info:
    I am using forms/reports 6.
    I believe the database is 7.x
    Cheers,
    Simon

    hello,
    assuming you are using the oracle reports server, you can use UTIL_HTTP to submit a job to the server using http.
    with oracle9i reports we will introduce a feature called event-based reporting API. a plsql package that allows you not only to submit jobs but also check their status.
    oracle9i reports will be part of iAS Release 2.
    regards,

  • Different ways to Transfer data from one database to another database

    Hi all,
    What are the ways to transfer data from one database to another database. With the following options, i Can transfer data as far as i know. Please
    correct me if i am wrong or tell me if there is any other options are available.
    1) Create database link/connection string and using this string and COPY command, we can transfer data.
    2) By using Export and Import utilities.
    I told first one to my interviewer, he told, its strange, by using, COPY command also can we transfer data ? As far as i know, we can transfer data. Am i right ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Pal

    transfer data from one database to another database.You mean store the data of one to another?
    1) Create database link/connection string and using this string and COPY command, we can transfer data.every SELECT on a DB-link is transfering data. And you can have all kind of transfers and store on the e.g CTAS of materialized views or.... the SQL*PLUS COPY :
    The COPY command is not being enhanced to handle datatypes or features introduced with, or after Oracle8i. The COPY command is likely to be made obsolete in a future release.
    But there are many others. Check for ORACLE Streams, and the "COPY" your interviewer was mentioning is about the operating file system COPY right? That's transportable tablespaces.

  • How to create Transfer order from material document   uFF08Move type is 101uFF09

    Hi all,
    is there any function module, BAPI to create transfer order from a material document number?
    I want to use FM L_TO_CREATE_SINGLE,but the result is "Movement type 101 for manual transfer orders does not exist".
    Is the parameters error?
    Thank you in advance
    Regards

    The error message you get is number 196 from message class L3, do a where-used on it from transaction SE91 and then put a break-point on each line result.  Afterwards, re-execute your function call and see which break-point is hit and investigate from there.
    With that said, you really should be using Bapi BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE for all goods movement operations.  It shares code with MIGO and executes the same Badi's and user-exits, so data integrity is not broken.  Don't forget Bapi BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT to commit changes in the database after a successful call.
    cheers
