Mail Subject area overlapping From text

Hello,
When I go to read my mail where it says who it's from and the subject they are both on top of each other. Hello Ryan.
This is a font issue. You’ve probably either disabled or removed a font that Mail needs to work properly (e.g. Helvetica):

  • My mail subfolders are missing from the viewing pane, but available from inbox drop down menu. How do I get them back in the viewpane?

    After a restart, all of my mail subfolders are gone from the side view pane. I can pull them down individually from the 'inbox' drop down menu. How do I get them back into the sidebar so I can sort mail out of the inbox?

    No anti virus software running as far as I am aware, as in I didn't launch any before reinstating the search email function.
    I was running a folder repair function on my inbox (which seemed to complete successfully for the emails in the inbox) when I noticed the majority of the mail folders had disappeared.

  • Possible to have E-Mail button pull address from text field?

    I've added a button that will submit the form as a PDF to an e-mail address. Another field will pull the customer e-mail address from our system. Is there a way to merge the two to ensure the E-mail button set up will use the e-mail address pulled in?

    It's a generic button, with the control type set to Submit.
    Submit As is set to PDF, unfortunately submitting this as XML wouldnt be a viable option for the nature of how this will be used.
    Submit to URL is -- mailto:CUSTOMER_EMAIL?subject=blahblahblah
    CUSTOMER_EMAIL is the variable pulling data into the form, would like for this to populate as well into the mailto address.
    I do apologize for the ambiguity on the first post! I can certainly attatch the form if need be and I greatly appreciate the help.

  • Please make it possible to print e-mail which are forwarded from gmail (google - apps domain).

    With my HP LaserJet Pro P1102w setup to use e-print which works very good.
    Now I want to automatic print the e-mails when received on my (order) google apps email address.
    So I setup a forwarding rule in Google Apps - gmail to the printers e-print email address.
    No I got a error in ePrint Center, to many recipients.
    Can you please make it possible to allow more recipients with a settings or that it is possible to forward-and-print from a gmail e-mail?

    Ok, I made a fresh provider hosted application to test out Dragan's suggested solution.

    After comparing this new application and the old one, I realized I had a misunderstanding of how the SP.RequestExecutor expected urls to be constructed. I thought it was required to use the SP.AppContextSite() endpoint.
    I was incorrectly constructing a request to the appWeb with a url similar to the following:
    https://contoso-6f921c6addc19f.sharepoint.com/ProviderHostedApp/_api/SP.AppContextSite(@target)/contextinfo?@target=%27https%3A%2F%2Fcontoso-6f921c6addc19f.sharepoint.com%2FProviderHostedApp%27
    As you can see, the @target was set to the appWeb url but infact when making request to the appWeb using RequestExecutor you do no need to do this.  It is simply appweburl + "/_api/contextinfo".  It is only when making requests for
    resources existing on the hostWeb that you need use the AppContextSite and set the @target.

  • My e-mail messages are disappearing from my inbox after only three days and I don't know where they are going or how to retrieve them and need help with this!

    THe messages are not in my archives and I don't delete them as soon as I get them. Where in the world are they going? I needed a number of them in order to make appropriate responses, and they are no longer in my inbox!

    do you get your mail on another device which might be deleting them after 3 days. A phone perhaps.

  • Sent items in mail box are sorted from sender name

    Hi friends, 
    I just purchased P780 two days back & trying to configure my corporate mails ( & also my Yahoo mails ) on it using Active Sync. Everything works fine apart from the fact that when I am going to the sent items, it is sorting all my mails by the sender name ( which is me ) & I am not able to find any configuration where I can change it to sort using receiver name.
    Please help me in sorting out this issue.

  • Mail contacts are different from my addressbook

    When im composing a mail in my ipad 2, i start to type a name in the "to" and many contacts appear, even contacts not in my "contacts" app. I even cheked the mail servers, so i deleted my gmail contacts and it doesn't change anything! Please help!

    Are the contacts that show, contacts you may have ever sent emails to?  This may be annoying, but you may not be able to change it.......When you compose a message and start typing in a TO recipient, a list of anyone you've written can appear, even if they've changed their email address and you have removed the old address.  At first it was annoying, but I've gotten used to it and just make sure I choose the right address.

    I'm installing OBIA againt R12 Vision for demos and testing, starting with Vision. The load crashes with out of tablespace errors due to the large number of Product dimension rows. Anyone run across this before?

    Me too - 796 with EBS 11.5.10.2 Vision. It is chaotic. Recently I ran the load, hit the problem, I aborted after 5 hours watching it struggle to load, started again, I had made absolutely no changes, none, not to the configuration, not to the parameters, there are no users on the source system so the source data is identical, but this time it loaded products in 2 minutes with 8 thousand rows!
    The issue is with workflow SDE_ORA_ProductDimension wich calls 3 workflow sessions SDE_ORA_ProductDimension_Derive then SDE_ORA_Product_Categories_Resolve then SDE_ORA_ProductDimension. I checked the log for SDE_ORA_ProductDimension_Derive to see that after a truncate the mapplet mplt_BC_ORA_ProductDimension.SQ_BCI_PRODUCTS loaded as expected 1895 rows into W_ORA_PRODUCT_DS_TMP from MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B and MTL_PARAMETERS. After that something goes "pear shaped" because SDE_ORA_ProductDimension ends up trying to load 70 million rows ?

  • Add Remove Subject Area greyed out in Answers

    Hi,
    I am using Obiee 11g and want to create a report from two subject areas with a common dimension. Unfortunately the Add / Remove Subject area button (the one with the - usually green - cross) in the subject areas pane.
    Any idea why ?

    No. its by defaults its working fine. in our obiee11.1.1.5.0 versions there are two add/remove subject areas

    The text "Add/RemoveSubject Area" is the tooltip for the encircled button.

  • Subject area in RPD  got deleted

    Hi,
    A subject area in Business layer of RPD got deleted and i have all my joins and logical keys defined. I have a backup of the rpd taken a week back. Can i import the deleted subject area alone from the backup rpd and restore in business layer of the latest rpd?
    This rpd is in OBIEE 10
    Kindly help me in this regard.

    Hi User,
    If your old rpd has all the changes in place for the deleted subject area try this,
    ->Take a backup of the current rpd
    ->Goto File-> Import from rpd and select old rpd
    ->In the pop up window, select the subject area to be imported
    ->If you have any init blocks associated with the model, import them and complete the merge process
    This should import the deleted subject area.

  • Mail always being sent from first account

    When I click "reply", my mail always goes out from my eathlink account, even if the original email came in on my website account. I have to manually change it, to have it go out from website account.
    How can I set the default so all my mails now are sent from my web account automatically?

    Hello Mimi.
    Have you created and are accessing your website email account as a separate email account in Mail or are you forwarding messages received by your website email account to your Earthlink email account?
    If you are accessing your website email account as a separate email account in Mail, when hitting reply for a message received by your website email account, the website email account should be used by default as the sending email account.
    With all Mail.app versions prior to Tiger Mail, there is not a default email account selection used when selecting New to compose a new message.
    When selecting New to compose a new message with Jaguar or Panther Mail, the default email account used is based on the current mailbox selected in the Mailboxes drawer. If you have your website email account's Inbox or Sent mailbox selected in the mailboxes drawer when selecting New to compose a new message, the website email account will be chosen as the sending email account automatically.
    When "In" or "Sent" or a user created "On My Mac" mailbox is selected in the mailboxes drawer (without an account's mailbox selected), the default account used when selecting New to compose a new message is the first account listed in the Account's pane or list at Mail > Preferences > Accounts. If you are accessing multiple/separate accounts in Mail, you can select/drag the chosen account in the Account's pane or list to the top of the list to be listed first.
    Tiger Mail includes a default "Send new mail from" account selection preference when selecting New to compose a new message regardless which mailbox is selected in the Mailboxes drawer but when selecting reply or forward for a message received by an email account, the default account used is the account the message was received by.

  • Swithcing Subject Areas

    I want to use all the reports created for one Subject Area A for another Subject Area B as I am removing Subject Area A from repository. Is there any way to remove rework of creating all the reports again for SA B.

    Ummm are you saying Subject Area A and B are basically the same hence you want to re-use the reports? Otherwise how do you expect reports with different attributes to work? If they are the same or similar and the same attributes exist then you should look into "Renaming A Subject Area" so that your reports get migrated to the new SA. Once you done that you can copy them to another installation where you din't rename the SA they they should point to the new SA.

  • Mail.app From and Subject are blank in list

    From time to time I get an email and once it is deleted, the "From" and "Subject" do not display in the list of emails. Its just blank. The "Date Received" shows up as well as if there were any attachments I get the paperclip icon, but no "From" or "Subject". If I open the email I can see the "From" and "Subject" in the email header just fine so I know the data is there, just doesnt show up in the list of emails. If I move the email back to my inbox and the delete it again it usually fixes the problem. Not a big deal but wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue and has a fix.
    I am running Mail.app 3.2, and my emailemail is being routed through google apps setup as imap account.
    This also happens on my wife's computer, who has an identical email setup as mine, just a different account, which leads me to believe its a mail.app ->imap ->gmail issue.
    Dont get me started on the dreaded "All Mail" folder.

    I have tried suffering through changing the message encoding back and forth to get messages to appear, but it has reached a level of absurdity that I just can stand anymore.
    I view my mail with IMAP from three places; Mac Pro, MacBook Pro, and iPhone. If I read a message on any one of the platforms, the remaining Mac (not iPhone) do not display the header information in the message list pane. The iPhone always shows everything fine. And if I download the message first on one of the Macs, it looks fine there, but when that message is downloaded on the other Mac (doesn't matter which was first or second, the pro or macbook pro) the from, to, sent, subject are all invisible on the second machine.
    I wrote an automator "watch me" recording to toggle message encoding, but with over 2000 affected email messages, it was taking hours to run, and makes that Mac useless until it is done.
    I am less than happy with this situation. Why no bulk message encoding change capability? If you select more than one message the encoding options grey-out.
    I've tried rebuilding mailboxes. Using the "defaults write ..." on both Macs. Nothing is working.
    Surely someone else is seeing this too?

  • Mail header problems: overlapping sender/subject

    Hi all,
    I have this problem with my Mail: when I open a message the header information are on the same line, i.e. sender name and subject text overlap. Labels (From and Subject) are in the right place (one word, one line) but variable content doesn't and the sender email address overlaps the subject.
    Very strange, have you ever heard about it? Anyone can help?

    sstreger you were right: the problem was with fonts.
    I controlled my font list and I noticed that Helvetica was missing (the standard Helvetica font file installed with Mac Os X) maybe I disabled it when installing a new Helvetica set a few days ago. Nothing seems related to Arial font.
    The solution is: find all your fonts folders (system, library and user/library) and double click on Helvetica packages to activate them (double-clcik opens font book).
    Also the red icon of "new message" now is back again.

  • Tab from Subject field to message text with attachment

    When I choose "Send to Mail Recipient as attachment" from Word, Mail creates a new message with the attachment in the message body area, and places the cursor in the "To" field.
    I can enter the recipient name, then tab to the Subject field and enter a subject, but can't tab out of Subject into the message text area. Shift-Tab goes backward through the BCC, CC and "To" fields, but that won't get to the message body area either. In order to add text to the body of the message one has to reach for the mouse and actually click in the message body area.
    Anyone else had this experience? Any suggestions?

    Try going to the Keyboard and Mouse system preference, Keyboard Shortcuts tab, and checking "Text boxes and lists only" instead of all "All controls". This will let you use return or tab to advance to the next field including the message field.
