Mailbox server web services proxy issue

One of our 3 mailbox servers gives us an error when mailbox databases are mounted on it.
All web services are not functioning properly, there is an event log error for each web service web.config file saying file not found, If I open each web.config file and look at the line in question they all point to:
<assemblies>
        <add assembly="Microsoft.Exchange.Security, Version=15.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" />
      </assemblies>
Does anyone know what this is pointing at or what my server is missing?
It is Exchange 2013 Sp1 RU7 as are my other 2 mbx servers which work fine...
all pre-req's are installed as I double checked and no difference between the 3 mbx servers that I can see...

  • What port for osx server web services proxy server?

    I was just wondering, my server has a proxy server working on 10.1.0.xxx what should i put in the client mac network settings so it can use the proxy server should i point it at 10.1.0.xxx or the domain name and what port is the usual for the proxy server?

    There is no set standard for the port number. It's whatever you configured.
    As for hostname vs. IP address - it doesn't really matter. If the client can resolve the hostname correctly then you can use that.
    Personally, though, I'd always use a hostname such as 'proxy.mydomain.com' so that I could easily move the proxy service to a different machine if needed just by changing the DNS entry (not something that is easy to do if you have many machines all connecting via IP address).

  • Web service proxy - how to use server side in/out objects

    We have logic in oracle database. We have pl/sql api with oracle object types as in/out parameters. On server side we have pojo classes with method to convert from/to sql structs, arrays.
    pl/sql apis are exposed as web services.
    When I create web service proxy, all required pojo classes are created from wsdl on client side.
    Currently we are also writting client part of the code(where we also have oracle database and we want to reuse server pojos). Server pojo classes are in separate jar file and used also on a client side.
    Is it possible to tell jdeveloper when creating web service proxy, to not create client side pojos, exception classes, ... , but use those from jar file.
    Currently I just copy server pojo over generated client ones, make some modifications and it works. But each time I regenerate web service proxy I have to do this step manually.

    best is to wrap the generated WS proxy in a JavaBean. This way you can create the exception handling once and apply it to all uses of the WS proxy by overriding the generated code

    I have created a web service proxy using jdeveloper 11g. I'm tried to call the web service. But my output is not getting populated as expected. I mean the objects on the response object is not getting populated as expected.

  • Change/Configure Host and Port for the Web Service Proxy with Server

    Hi,
    Is there a way to configure Host and Port in generated proxy for Web service depending upon server. (ADF 11g)
    Scenario:
    We are consuming Credit Card web service from a service provider and have different Host and Port details for development, QA and Prod.
    So we created proxy classes using wsdl for development and things work fine, but when deploying code to QA or Prod we need to change the Host
    and Port details.
    Is their a way we could user variable's for Host and Port which looks to some configuration file to evaluate their values
    based on server.
    I am a bit new to this web service .. will appreciate if someone could provide an example.
    Thanks.

    Are you using Web Service Proxy or Web Service Data Control?
    If you are using Web Service Proxy. Right click on your Proxy --> Properties --> Port Endpoints. Here you can change the IP & Port details for each port.

  • Building a custom Flex web services proxy server

    Hi All,
    I'm investigating the possibility of writing a custom proxy
    server for our web services, using ASP.NET. LiveCycle Data Services
    looks very cool and would do the proxying we need, but it's not in
    our budget this year, and I would still like to take advantage of
    proxying. I figured I could probably build something simple, and
    perhaps we may be able to move to LCDS at some point in the future.
    I did some searching and didn't find anything to help me get
    started. My next step would be to fire up Wireshark and start
    looking at traffic going back and forth to try and figure out what
    Flex expects from a web services proxy -- but I thought maybe some
    folks here would be able to point me to some documentation or other
    resources on writing a proxy?

    a common, somewhat sophisitcated messaging framework that controls
    access to a range of services... one of which is the proxy service.
    This proxy service does ultimately act like an HTTP proxy on your
    client's behalf, but how it is contacted is complex because the
    messaging format is not designed just to do this one task.
    I apologize for oversimplying; I realize LCDS does much more
    than proxying, but that's all I'm worried about at the moment, so
    that's why I keep mentioning it in the same breath as "proxy".

    convention on a URL for proxying your requests to your own .NET
    based proxy. I suggested a mechanism for doing so in my previous
    post - just use the URL to point to a "distinguished" service that
    your proxy knows how to translate.
    It might be simpler, but my goal is to abstract away from the
    Flex app the fact that a proxy is even being used. I was under the
    impression that a proxy service would allow me to do this; however
    as I review the documentation I'm not entirely sure this is the
    case. It looks like I have to define explicit endpoints even if I
    am using a proxy?
    What I had envisioned was that by setting up a proxy, all web
    service requests would be sent to the host I had specified as the
    proxy, regardless of what I had put for the web service WSDL and/or
    endpoint.
    So here's my hypothetical situation (I'm making all this up
    -- it's what I'd like to do, not how things actually work):
    {services-config.xml}
    <service id="proxy-service"
    class="flex.messaging.services.HTTPProxyService"
    messageTypes="flex.messaging.messages.HTTPMessage,flex.messaging.messages.SOAPMessage">
    <properties>
    <external-proxy>
    <server>intranetProxy</server>
    <port>80</port>
    </external-proxy>
    </properties>
    </service>
    Then I could define a bunch of web services in MXML:
    <mx:WebService wsdl="
    http://webservicesHost/myService.asmx?WSDL"/>
    <mx:WebService wsdl="
    http://webservicesHost/anotherService.asmx?WSDL"/>
    <mx:WebService wsdl="
    http://webservicesHost/handyService.asmx?WSDL"/>
    Now, when it attempts to load the WSDL, it will relay the
    request through intranetProxy. When I actually call a web method,
    it relays the request through intranetProxy. No further needs to be
    done, and I don't need to touch the WSDL URLs or the WSDL
    documents.
    If I go with the method of using the WSDL URL to contact my
    ASP.NET proxy directly, there are a few drawbacks:
    -The proxy service is no longer abstracted away from the
    MXML/ActionScript code. If I ever need to move the proxy, I need to
    touch the code everywhere I use a web service.
    -I have to rewrite the web service endpoints (defined in the
    WSDL) on the fly.
    Neither of these are showstoppers. In fact, I'm already using
    this method -- but a proxy that is totally transparent to the Flex
    app seems like a better design goal. Is this possible, though? If I
    have to manually define every Web Service WSDL and/or endpoint that
    I want to proxy, then I'm no better off than using the WSDL URL to
    directly contact my ASP.NET proxy, and rewriting the endpoint
    defined in the WSDL as it passes through the proxy.

  • Web service proxy on security issue

    Using jdeveloper 11g R1(11.1.1.2.0)+fusion middleware em :
    1.I protected a web service with wss policy of wss_user_name_token_service_policy then deployed to in independent WLS 10.3.2
    2.Created a web service proxy with wss policy of wss_user_name_token_client_policy with csf-key being 'demo' in a ADF web project,the proxy can be invoked by a JSF page.Then deployed this client web project in same WLS.
    3.Access the JSF page then get error:racle.wsm.common.sdk.WSMException: WSM-00015 : The user name is missing. I created the key of 'demo' with correct user name and password on EM under map of oralce.wsm.security, still throw such error.
    However, using the web service data control can works right:
    4.Created a web service data control with wss policy of wss_user_name_token_client_policy with csf-key 'being' demo2 and a wrong user name and password in the ADF web project. Then created another JSF page using the web service data control.
    5.Deployed the web project in WLS.
    6.Created the key of 'demo2' with correct user name and password in map of oracle.wsm.security on EM
    6.Access the JSF page that invokes the web service data control.
    It worked right. This is what I expected that user name and password of service client should not be specified in design time but after deployment. The client app will send correct SOAP request with auth head after creating its required key on EM.
    The question is why web service proxy can not work right even create its key on EM after deployment to WLS? Seems the policy in client does not take any effective when sending request.

    This depends on the webservice types:JAX-WS or RPC-WS.

  • Web service proxy and data control are not working properly

    Hi,
    I am working on jDeveloper 11.1.1.6
    I have a SOA web service which requires 3 inputs and return with a set of data.
    When I tried testing that web service in soapUI it is working perfect. But when I have created a web service proxy in my application and trying to test it from class (*******_ptClient) main method everytime it is replying with the output null
    Also When I am requesting from the main method SOA is getting proper input (which I am providing in the main method) and SOA is returning proper output I have checked the SOA instance in em. So there is no problem in SOA side.
    After that I have created web service data control and tested in that case also it is not showing any result.
    What could be the problem ?
    Please help.
    Thanks

    Hi Shay Shmeltzer,
    Thanks for the reply.
    I tried in HTTP Analyzer in JDeveloper and there also it is not working. My concern is :-
    There are many other web services deployed on the same SOA server in same partition and they are working fine in HTTP analyzer and I am able to create and use the web service proxy as well. So as per my understanding there is nothing like network issues between SOA server and jDeveloper.
    1 more thing When I am creating the proxy for this web service and requesting from the proxy's main method SOA is getting proper input (which I am providing in the main method) and SOA is returning proper output I have checked the SOA instance in em. So there is no problem in SOA side. The problem is jDeveloper is not able to get back that response which SOA is returning.
    Please Help.

  • Web service proxy and security constraint

    I've placed a security constraint on my web service and set the login-config auth-method as BASIC. When I run the Workshop test and the (Test View) browser begins to appear I am prompted for my username and password since it is protected --- great, it's working.
    Here's my problem, when I create the Java Proxy and try to access the web service using the proxy in another application I am never prompted for my username and password and thus the request fails. Anyway to fix this so I can be promted using the proxy??
    thanks in advance,

  • Deployment is failing on creating web service proxy in portlet.

    Hi All,
    I am using a JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0.
    1) I have created a application (portlet producer application), which contains few jsf pages (not jspx).
    2) I have added a web service proxy ( using New>Business tier>Web services>web service proxy, provided a wsdl) for accesing a service which is exposed on different server.
    The above combination works perfectly fine.
    But When I convert the JSF pages to portlet (right click on JSF page and select create portlet entry option), and tried to run it throws following error.
    Note: soainvgpkg is the package which is generated when I create a web service proxy.
    It is generated under application resources.

    It works fine if I again remove the portlet entry and delete the portlet.xml and oracle-portlet.xml which were generated during portlet conversion time which is nothing but a normal JSf application.

  • Invoke BPEL by Web Services Proxy

    I use JDev 10.1.3.1 to generate a web services proxy to invoke BPEL, and i remove the BPEL version number in the java stub (invoke Default BPEL if no version stated) from
    _setProperty(ENDPOINT_ADDRESS_PROPERTY, "http://testmachine:7779/orabpel/TestingBPEL/1.0");to
    _setProperty(ENDPOINT_ADDRESS_PROPERTY, "http://testmachine:7779/orabpel/TestingBPEL");
    After removed it, the proxy is failed to invoke.
    However, it is works fine for those proxy generated by previous version of JDev such as 10.1.3 and 10.1.2
    Anyone knows how to fix it?

    I am facing exactly the same issue. Anyone have any pointers on how to make the proxy classes visible to the application server? I have tried including them under $JAVA_TOP and as a ZIP file added to the classpath
