Make emacs+LaTeX/Auctex more WYSIWYG

Ok so I thought I make a new thread on this issue, since I didn't want to hijack the screenshots thread.

I see his formulae are right there, visible, kinda like WYSIWYG. So is a chapter name, you can see it in bold.
How could I set that thing up?
For example I write a lot of reports using LaTeX, but no fancy stuff, only page headers, titles etc. I often have bold text inside normal text, bigger text for titles etc. How could I set emacs up to see all this while I'm editing? Right now I have to compile my .tex to see the result. It would be nice to see my stuff while editing

Fold-mode
Keys: C-c C-o C-b or look under LaTeX-->Show/Hide
This will make the buffer more readable by hiding markup commands, some environments, \item etc.

This will generate pictures of given environments and display them in the buffer.

I don't customize AUCTeX all that much. My setup is similar to arkham's setup. The following differ though:

LaTeX (AUCTeX) strange fonts and other problems

It appears that I'm missing some latex fonts because things are looking weird. The top is what I currently have, the bottom is an old document:
I've recently reinstalled arch and now my latex/auctex stuff seems to be very disagreeable even though I have the most recent versions of each package. I cannot change my default viewer from evince (http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php? … 64#p726264) and the old shortcut for it no longer works. My knowledge of emacs customization is very basic so if someone could please point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful.

It appears like I'm using AUCTeX from what I can tell (addition of pdflatex/pdfview buttons in gnu emacs). I just reinstalled it and pacman told me of two additional lines to add to my .emacs file so it now looks like, where the bolded lines are the ones I just added:

I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first.

How do you make PP CS5 use more allocated physical memory???

As you know, you can go to Preferences > Memory and change the amount of RAM reserved for other applications.
Now, I have 8 GB of RAM installed (Windows 7), and I have set my “RAM reserved for other applications” option to 1.5 GB. That leaves 6.5 GB of memory for Adobe AE, Pr, Encore and Media Encoder.
Here’s the problem: every time when I’m rendering or exporting in Premiere, I can see through Task Manager that Premiere uses only 1.5 or 2.0 GB of the physical memory, not the 6.5 GB that I’ve allocated. I know the rest is reserved for other applications, but none of them are running at the moment. So, how can I make PP CS5 use more of all the physical memory that’s left?

Memory management in CS5 is clever enough to use an amount of memory that minimizes the use of the page file and maximizes buffers, However that depends on the material in the project, the effects and transitions used, the export format and the hardware in use.
There is no sense in using large amounts of memory, when other components cause waiting before the contents of memory can be offloaded. Just as it makes no sense to use a Ferrari in traffic jams.

Using Apple's camera connection kit, you can use a flash drive to IMPORT photos and videos. However, you can't EXPORT any type of file to the flash drive.

Sad to say MediaMan5335, there's no real defined way to read
a Flash movie file. Currently there are tips and tricks to do it,
but all of them are merely patches to somethin long overdue and
needed. Since Google is setting the trend, the best way to gain
ranking is to follow their set of new rules.
There were several ways to gain rankings, whether is be
paying your way to the top, putting multiple links within your
site, or placing tons of words that would be read by spiders.
Google has multiple articles pertaining to Search Engine
Optizmization or SEO. Head on over to Google and just type in

Right now to answer your question, META KEYWORDS and META
DESCRIPTION are your best tools for METAs. Having legit links

Surely Apple can think of a way to make these stolen phones more difficult to re-use ? No matter the precautions, a cell phone is easy to steal. But it seems even easier to re-use stolen cell phones. I had "find my phone", passwords, and another tracking device on my second stolen phone. Thieves just shut it off and wipe it. You would think with all the technology available, these phones could be rendered completely useless if stolen. Unless of course this "second hand market" is considered valuable.

Your best bet is to as soon as you realize your device has been stolen is to go to iCloud.com on your computer and put the device in Lost Mode. This gives you the opportunity to not only add a Lock to the screen, but also to send a message to the lowlife who stole you phone, giving them the opportunity to return it, (of course, don't give them any of your personal information!). But you may be able to find a way to communicate with them anonymously via a 3rd party phone or something to see what can be done.
You will be happy to know that your device and its contents cannot be accessed by the thief, and if you don't care for tracking it, you also can also Erase all of your personal information from the device. This does not remove the Activation Lock, so they still won't be able to use it for anything.....

Every programmer have their habit to code, but this lead a problem , it is difficult to read other people's code, especially the complex logic.
So how to establish code standards to make the abap code more readability?
I came up with this:
1.Unify the naming rule.
2.Reduce the nest of 'if' statement. (better in less than 4 if statement in one block )
3.Use more Perform to replace the big code block.
Is there any other standards to make our abap code more readability ? （if we establish the standards, in sap is there any tool to help us to follow the rule we set ?）

There are a number of things you could do. Some of which are:
I would recommend creating your own in-house document on Coding standards, some of which you can control with the code inspector.
It is also possible to set up the transport request in such a way that objects that do not pass the SCI test are not allowed to be released.
I would also assign a senior developer to act as quality control for all developments. You can have a rotation scenario where this work can be divided by the number of senior developers you have.

Hi Peter,
yes, that makes sense. If you want to use different combinations of repository services you need different repositories. Or if you want to include existing data (e.g. file systems) from different locations. Or if you need to use different backup strategies (RDBMS, file), or ...
BTW, my KM Installation (NW04 SPS9) has 23 CM repositories by default.

Emacs, LaTeX: a path problem?

I've got two different boxes, [presumably] the same configuration (texlive, auctex); emacs configs shared via GitHub. It works fine on one box; on another it won't compile the same test file with message "LaTeX: problems after [0] pages". Google shows that such a thing usually happens when Emacs can't find the necessary executable. Meanwhile, it's right where one would expect it:
$ ls -l /usr/bin/*xelatex*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 49 Mar 12 11:53 /usr/bin/htxelatex -> /usr/share/texmf-dist/scripts/tex4ht/htxelatex.sh

getenv PATH inside Emacs shows /usr/bin/ just as it should, xelatex starts in command line from everywhere. What else could I try?

Looks just as cryptic for me.
This appears to be a known issue. The only catch: I've got no .texmf-var anywhere on the system.
fmtutil --all, they say. Still, no luck:
$ fmtutil --all
/usr/bin/fmtutil: line 395: /usr/share/texmf/texconfig/tcfmgr: No such file or directory
fmtutil: config file `fmtutil.cnf' not found.
UPD:
moved fmtutil.cnf.pacnew and texmf.cnf.pacnew into place, run fmtutil(-sys) --all. Got a longish log not quite free of errors. No compilation for me, as before "Fatal format file error; I'm stymied". Looks like clean reinstall of texlive is in order .

If you do not like the new appearance of Firefox 4 then you can change some setting to restore the Firefox 3 appearance. 
You can right click the orange Firefox button to open the toolbar context menu or use (F10) View > Toolbars.

How can I make the GRID lines more bold within a table in the new Pages? (Not the outline of a table)

I can't find where to darken GRID lines on a table in the new Pages. I can make the outline more bold, but not the grid lines within the table. Is there a way to do this? The default grid lines are far too faint.

Yeah, the Help is missing a little.
If you select the block of cells that you want to change, then in the Format inspector:
Select the Cell tab
Expand the Border section
Set a line type
Set a line width
Choose a line color
Choose one of the nine options for which borders get the new settings

Can we make the Lookup Query more dynamic?

Hello OIM gurus,
I have a lookup field in my process form and I am entering the properties of this field with the design client, such as Column Names, Captions, widths, Lookup Query etc. I would like to make the Lookup query a little more flexible in that it can take in different lookup codes based on some criteria. To be specific, I would like the lookup query specific to each resource.
A sample of my query is: 'select v.lkv_encoded,v.lkv_decoded from lkv v, lku u where u.lku_key=v.lku_key and u.lku_type_string_key='<my lookup code>'
I have lookup codes that are specific to each resource and I would like to use these codes here. I see some things like $Process Data.xxx$ and I am not sure how to use this or change the lookup code dynamically. Or is there a totally different way to do this?

can anyone please let me know the exact usage of Lookup Quey. I tried to find out in OIM docs but end up with no luck. By this post i am able to write basic lookup query (find out the USR_Login from USR table). I have couple of queries which i am not sure about and will apreaciate if anyone could provide me answer
1. We have to add property - Lookup Column names, Column names, Column width and Caption for lookup query. What are their usage and restrictions (what values we can use and what we cannot).
2. I am using my lookup field currently in AD resource form. My requirement is to provide manager options to search for user (in AD resource form only) for his/her direct reports having AD account. For this i tried to lookup the query on UD_ADUSER table but it is giving me error (even resource form on console is not coming up) Does LookupQuery is not much flexible to query the connector tables. if so how can i compete my requirement.
3. Does lookup querry (in resource form) provides you option to provide the filter as per user attribute value in OIM user profile.
