Mark the checkbox based on the backing bean value in h:selectManyCheckBox

I am using the h:selectManyCheckbox based on the backened List values, the list of check box should be selected. But in my code the check box was not checked based on that value.

for save action i stored the values from checkbox to database. then for edit option i retrieve the value from database into list but cant select the checkbox.
pls help me.....

What exactly is in the checkValue list? What exactly is in the allList list? (Why not use generics?)
Were you able to use this construct successfully for input?

I added a button and a checkbox in Accounts Application(CRMM_ACCOUNT).On clicking this button it call a custom bsp application.If there r no rows displayed in bsp, then this checkbox must not be checked else it must be checked.i.e
1.I am calling bsp from pcui
2.Based on bsp application ,I should change the pcui application.
Do I have to call MAC in my BSP application?

I am using phasetracker to trace it also.I want to know whether it is it render response phase. I know FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getRenderResponse() work for normal jsf component but it will not work for qiupukit datatable. FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getRenderResponse() will not return true in the following phase. Why?

How to control the measure based on the related dimension.

Hi Experts,
In order to improve performance, I have created three kinds of time tables in DB,such as Year .Month, Day.
Then import them into the physical layer in RPD, and combine them into one dimension in BMM.
Actually, it has three level fact related with three time tables,so they are also dragged into one fact in BMM,and one column will be corresponding with three column derived from different Fact table in physical layer.
So I want to know how to control the measure based on the related dimension.
For example:
when users drag the Year,Sales column, it will come from Year Dimension and Year Fact Table.
when users drag the Month,Sales column, it will come from Month Dimension and Month Fact Table.
when users drag the Day,Sales column, it will come from Day Dimension and Day Fact Table.

Create a dimension Hierarchy, with Year >> Month >> Day Levels and
Next Double click on Year Table LTS >> click on Ocntetnt Tab >> set as Year
same way for Month LTS and Day LTS.
So now when you select year column then server canknow which LTS to hit and Hits Year LTS.

There are a lot of different ways to do this. One simple method is to use a switch statement when creating your pushpins and based on some property in your data, select the icon you want to use and create your pushpin accordingly.

as date is record the time also below query will work.

I've to extract the data based on the sysdate...like today dd is 11,

BM_PERF is the table name and
BM_PERF_YR,BM_PERF_MONTH,BM_NOP_CT_1........BM_NOP_CT_31 are the column names.

so i've to get data from BM_NOP_CT_11 and the column names changes dynamically based on the sysdate. don't use any procedures and functions.

You could always pivot it into a more convenient form for querying:

I'm not sure how I can incorporate this example into my situation. Let me explain more detail about my problem.
"servlet" in my post here actually means a custom servlet I wrote for rendering an image that is stored in db as ordimage. In this servlet, I get hold of my appmodule by using Configuation.createRootApplicationModule(). By doing so (If I'm not wrong) a new database session/connection is created. What I'm going to achieve is set application context for this new session/connection in db with the data stored in a session backing bean in the view layer.
I can pass the required data to the servlet thru url parameter, but I don't want to do it this way for the reason that the data may contains sensitive information.
I hope I have explained myself well.

How to get the application module instance in backing bean.

This is Ramesh, I am new to JDeveloper world.
In my current application I have change password screen which allows user to change there password.
Here this is a pop-up page. Here I don't have the view object and pagadef for this changepassword.jspx file.
My aim is to call the Application Module method which takes the user name, old password and new password.
In backing bean I am trying to call this method by using
MyProjAM obj = _binding.getDataControl().getApplicationModule(); //throw null pointer exception.
_binding is the object of DCBindingContainer.
( I have created the parameter called "binding" as my managed bean property and values as #{binding})
But the above line is throwing the NullPointerException.
Could you please help me to come out of this problem.

If your page has no page definition, then #{bindings} will be null during the request for that page.
If you need your page to invoke a data control method when you press a button, the simplest (and declarative) way is publish your AM method on the AM's client interface, then drop the method as a button from the data control palette onto your page. You don't even need a backing bean to accomplish this.
That said, you can refer to a data control in a backing bean using the expression #{data.[i]YourAppModuleNameDataControl.dataProvider}
So, assuming you have a helper method like this:

Can I change the request params in my backing bean?

I want to change the request params in the backing bean method.
For example:

When user click the link, myBean.test() will be invoked.
Can I change the request param values in myBean.test()?
I mean, if I can change the value of "a" to "2" or add a new param?

I'm not sure if You can change any request parameters...
You can set e.g. a request attribute in the case that You get the request object from the faces context and set the attribute.
something like this...
