Master populating detail automatically

Question

hi guys, I currently have a master detail relationship, what i would like is for when a value is selected from the master is for the detail to automatically be populated. Anyone any idea how this could be done.

If you have created a "Relationship" object between the Master block and the Detail block, this should happen automatically (see the Block => Relationship node in the Object Navigator). If you haven't created a Relationship; create one and list just the join criteria in the "Join Condition" - don't include the "WHE RE" key word as this is implicit.
If your master/detail blocks don't support the creation of a Relationship object, then you have to manually code the relationship functionality. This can be accomplished using the Master Block When-New-Record-Instance (WNRI) trigger and setting the DEFAULT_WHER E clause on the Detail block and executing a query on the detail block. For example:
