MedRec example under stress

Hi,
I tested MedRec example of WLS 8.1 cluster. The configuration is
Tiger 4 box (IA 64, 4* 1.4 GHZ CPU, 8GB RAM):
OS - RedHat AS 2.1 (kernel: 2.4.18-e.12smp)
3 WLS instance - one Admin, 2 managed server in one cluster.
JVM options of managed servers are -Xms1024m -Xmx 1024m -Xgc:parellel.
Each managed server has 35 default threads.
HP box (IA 64, 2* CPU) runs Oracle 9.2.0.2 as persistent store. 35
connections from each managed server.
OS - RedHat AS 2.1 (kernel: 2.4.18-e.12smp)
There are 2 kind of virtual users: patient - edit profile, view records;
physician - search patient, view patient's records, prescribe.
When there are 35 patients and 35 physicians request any one of the
managed server, it makes that server hung.
Thread dump of JRockit is follows.
Is it a kind of Out-of-Thread deadlock?
Thanks,
Kevin Huang

I'm sure there are details on this in the documentation, but, in short:
-- If you want to support persistent messages (which I'm sure MedRec does), then your JMS server has to be configured with a store.
-- You can use either a file store or a JDBC store.
-- If you use a JDBC store, it uses the JDBC connection pool you provide and the username/password you provide there to create two tables in which it stores persistent messages.
-- The database username you use for this has to have permission to create a table.

  • Error when opening Find Examples under the Help menu

Today when I tried opening the Find Examples under the Help menu in LabVIEW 6.1, it would not open correctly. The Find Examples window appears and then an error window appears on top of it with the following description -
"Error 1 occurred at open or create file (function 1)."
Then ther is a list of possible reasons.
I have had this version of LabVIEW installed for over 6 months and had no problems until today. I tried running the installation program for LabVIEW and repairing LabVIEW but had no success.
What should I do next? Is there a file/s I can delete and then install manually?
    Thanks,
    Rodney

I've never actually heard of this error ocurring with the Examples Finder before. If it continues, I would probably just reinstall LabVIEW. That should clear up the problem.

  • Decision Service - Failure under stress

After a recommendation from an Oracle consultant, we have decided to use the new Decision engine in 10.1.3.1 instead of using BPEL code to do some business rules.
So, we created a simple rule using the rules author and then deployed this onto WebDAV. We then added a decision service to call this rule, all good so far....
We then ran this from the BPEL Console, and it works fine.
However, when we place this under stress using the Stress Test tool it fails with about 2 requests in 5.
On disectiing the results from the BPEL audit, it looks to me as if the decision engine is single threaded, which is no use at all in our high throughput environment
My question is, has anyone actually deployed this experiencing the same issues?
The error we receive is :
    <summary>exception on JaxRpc invoke:
    start fault message:
Internal Server Error (Caught exception while handling request:
    java.lang.NullPointerException)
    :end fault message</summary>
    Many thanks
    Pete

    Hi,
I am using oracle business rules with WEBDAV configuration for linux.
The rules are present in a linux box 10.1.3.3.0. (Box1)
The BPEL process with a decision service is deployed in another linux SOA Server 10.1.3.1.0 (Box2) and its conencting to the rule engine of Box1 using WEBDAV (not file based.)
Unlike file based there is not a local copy of repository file in j2ee/home/applications/rules_default_Invoke../
If any rule is changed in Box 1 the BPEL process in box 2 is not reflecting the change ,however if the BPEL process is redeployed the chanage is again visible.
Please let me know is there any configuration I need to change or is this a bug.
Note - As already mentioned the patch is present for 10.1.3.3.0 (i.e box 1) but still this bug is present.
Please let me know any pointers to proceed.
    Best Regards
    Ashif

  • Normal temperature - rpm under stress?

Hi, I am new to mac and have found a lot of forum posts about the new macbook pro freezing/fans spinning like crazy when under stress. I have a But I could not find one information: what is the normal level of temperature and fan spinning when under stress? I know, this might sound like a newbie question, but I'm converting a 2h movie from .avi to .flv in adobe media encoder cs5, and from the beginning to the end (it took about 30minutes) according to smcFanControl the temperature rose to 85-90°C and fans spin between 5000-6000 rpm. Is that a lot or not? Should I worry and return the mac?
Sorry if this information is somewhere else on the forum, but when posts have hundreds of pages it's kinda impossible to find this kind of information..
    thank you!
    Charlie.

That's normal and no cause for alarm.

  • Delete the databse of the medrec Example

How to delete the databse of the medrec Example and where does the admin user and password information gets stores(which table).

    Hi,
Do you mean to say that a blank ALV should be displayed. You can try by deleting the contents of the Internal Table from which the ALV is Displayed.
If you are searching for something else kindly elloborate it.
    Thanks,

I think this is some sort of networking security problem and I would be grateful for some pointers on solving this ?

do you have an rmiregistry running? the server is trying (and failing) to connect to a registry. i believe those examples refer to starting the rmi registry before running the example code.I didn't do that. Thanks for the help.
In a real application I assume you start the registry service in some way when the server is started if it isn't already running ?

  • Macbook Pro getting really hot and loud under stress.

To put it simply, i use my macbook pro for game development. Some of the programs/games i run on it are high quality and make my macbook pro (with a 750M installed) incredibly hot. Judging from the app (iStat) the average RPM's of the fans are around 2000rpm. When i have to render something, the macbook starts to get really really hot, and the fans start getting really loud. I checked the fans RPM and it shows that they are going at 6000rpm.
The average temperature when not doing things of the CPU and other components is around 35-50 degrees celcius. When i'm working and it has to render something, and i have to play/test my creation the temperatures go up to around 90 degrees celcius.
Is this safe? I don't want the inside of my brand new laptop to melt under the stress. Keep in mind, i bought one of these because it was suggested that mac's are the better option for graphics and design rather than PC.
If you look at the picture and see that my OS is not Yosemite, that is because i've seen many bad reviews that it can cause overheating. I'm trying to prevent that as much as possible with the workload i have to work with.
    Thanks for any help possible.
    My Specs = http://i.imgur.com/fIGlzcZ.png

I just got mine a week or two ago and I also have noticed how loud and hot mine gets. Mine also has the GT 750. The heat is normal enough but how loud it gets is very annoying.
I think I know why its so loud but cant say for sure. I think its one of those fans on the gpu with side fins rather than a normal fan. Ive had graphics cards before with those fans and they are louder than the normal fans when under load. Now I go for a card that has a couple of larger "normal fans" to keep it cool. Also these side fin fans would be better for a laptop as they will shoot the hot air directly out the back.
Im still not sure why the fan spins so fast when playing a simple game. Its understandable with a more demanding game.
Hopefully you know what I mean though im not explaining it that well.

  • Where to find JCo server examples under NW04

I am using NW04 and do not know where to look for or download demos showing how to set up a JCo server program that can be called into using ABAP.  I have seen references to a JCo.zip file, but that file seems to have been pulled from the downloads.  Can someone tell me where I can download sample programs?

    Hi,
you can download Jco (and yes, documentation and examples are included in the download package) from SAP Service Marketplace at: http://service.sap.com/connectors -> SAP Java Connector -> Tools & Services and then select the Jco version you need from the right hand side frame.

  • Airport quits under stress - Requires restart

I'm experiencing nearly the exact same thing that iBook users were suffering from
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=208672&tstart=120
When downloading large files and multi-tasking my Airport reception cuts off. No amount of toggling it on and off restores the connection. However, upon restart all is well until I stress the computer again. For many of the iBook users the 10.4.3 update and/or Airport update 2005-001 cured their problems. The only symptom I don't have that they experienced is the jumpy cursor.
I'm still using 10.3.9 so these aren't options for me. Because of work I can't upgrade this particular machine to Tiger. Has anyone else been experiencing? Does anyone have a fix? Is Apple only release fixes for Tiger machines?

In case anyone else is having this problem I do have something of a solution (other than 10.4.3 and the Airport Update). If you disable a portion of your RAM so that there is only 1024MB available then the problem goes away. This was the same fix that iBook users were initially using. Of course, losing a fifth of you RAM *****. But my connection is rock steady now.

  • Medrec example getting unknown error on the web interface

Hi, I've been able to set up my medrec server following the instructions and everything seemed to go fine. I try to go test it on the server and I get an error with the bery helpful error code of "Unkown Error". It appears on every .do file and .jsp files seem to be fine. I have scoured over all my logs and can't seem to find any errors. I have boosted up debug as much as I can and sitll nothing. The only thing that I can see is the following which I'm not completely sure is an eror and not sure how to fix if it is. This is from the admin server log:
    <Error> <JDBC> <spuvpars.zko.hp.com> <adminser
    ver> <ExecuteThread: '1' for queue: 'weblogic.admin.HTTP'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <BEA-001151> <Data Source "MedRecTxDataSource" deployment failed with the following error: DataSource(MedRecTxDataSource) can't be created with non-existent Pool (connection or multi) (MedRecPool-PointBase-XA).>
on the managed server (the one running MedRec) there is nothing in the log
I hacve the pools created and everything looks happy

  • MOVED: Gtx 460 Hawk downclocks when under stress... what's wrong?

This topic has been moved to Overclockers & Undervolting & Modding Corner.
    https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=155567.0

Test using games to see if the same condition occurs.  If the card functions properly in games, nothing is wrong and the card is operating properly.
Of course, if you go by the answer MSI Tech Support gave me, their cards are designed to downclock under load....in which case, even if it's trying to render heavy 3D graphics at idle clocks it's operating properly....

  • Gtx 460 Hawk downclocks when under stress... what's wrong?

    Hi people,
i've received a GTX 460 Hawk, i've been testing it to check if it worked fine and how it overclocks but when i use Furmark to check stability after a while the gpu clock gets to 450mhz...
No driver error, just is gets to 450mhz.
This happens only in overclock, the card works great at stock speeds. Temps are fine, and i've changed the power setting from adaptive to max power.
I've tried latest 290.36 beta drivers and latest whql 285.62 drivers. It does the same.
I'm on a clean installation of Win7 64bit since i got an SSD and re-installed everything, my PSU is a Corsair HW1000Watt that used to run GTX 580 until a couple of months ago, so i think is powerful enough.
What can i try? Thank you in advance.
PS my card has 70.04.13.00.01 bios version (MSINV238MS.115), i've seen that on TechPowerUP! there is a 70.04.2E.00.04 (MSINV238MS.116) version too. do i have to update the bios or is kinda the same?
the MSI Updater won't find any new bios for my card...
    PS my specs are:
    Intel 950
    Asus Sabertooth X58
    G.Skill Trident 6-7-6-18
    SSD Crucial M4
    MSI GTX460 Hawk
    Corsair HX1000W

  • Receiving an error in Print Report.vi in the Text Report Example.vi

I am trying to run the "Text Report Example.vi" example under Windows XP Professional, MS Office 2003 and LV 6.1 and I get an error in the "Print Report.vi" saying that there is an unknown error (-2147452567). I have searched through the Knowledgebase and found a couple of things to try but none of them worked (namely this solution). Is there a known problem with Office 2003 and LabVIEW 6.1? I can run the same example on another computer that is running the same setup except that it has MS Office 2002 SP3 and it prints properly.

There are several reasons why you could get this error. There was a problem with a DLL change that caused either an invoke node or a property node (sorry, I don't remember which) to need to be replaced or relinked. I think that this is the problem that you linked to.
The other potential problem is that you could be calling a font that you have on one of the computers but not on the other.
    I hope that this helps,
