Message Bundle class not found
Hello,
i'm using JDev 10.1.3.3, and creating ADF BC application. When i've created the jspx page, went to it's Page Definition, and in Structure editor tried to add the Message Bundle file to this page - selected the "Generate Resource Bundle" from the context menu - i'm getting error "Class ...app_XXXPageDefMsgBundle not found" .
Other pages in application got the same error.
How can i solve this problem?
And in the same time, Message Bundle classes for Entity Objects (XXXRowImplMsgBundle.java) are generating well, without any errors.

JSF resource bundle class not found,
When I put the resource bundle class in session-ejb.jar, it works fine. But when I moved the resource bundle class into web module web.war, JBoss AS complained: the resource bundle class were not found.
In the web module, I put the bundle class under:
/WEB-INFO/classes
war file:
/WEB-INF/classes/resource/Messages
JSP file:
<f:loadBundle basename="resource.Messages" var="bundle"/>
Thanks for help.has anyone made the following example work in JBOSS?
http://www.coreservlets.com/JSF-Tutorial/code/jsf-messages.zip
I got error message:
resouce bundle not found.
The resource properties files are under WEB-INF/classes.
Where to put resource bundle files?
Can any one please shed some light? Thank you very much. -
Message Manager Class not found
Weird stuff again.....
I was cleaning up unneeded controller nodes when in the view implementation where I use the message pool the message started fussing at me about "IMessageManagerManagerMassRosterComp cannot be to resolved".
The component's name is ManagerMassRosterComp thus the interface class to the message pool should be IMessageManagerManagerMassRosterComp right?
IMessageManagerManagerMassRosterComp.PERNR_NOT_FOUND was there before - if I look in the message pool the message is there. Every message is showing the same error.
Did something happen to the generated class? How would you recommend I get it back? I've closed and reopened NWDS but haven't checked the code in.
Regards,
DianeOk now I have closed NWDS again and reopened. Now the IPrivate<>View cannot be found.
Do I need to delete the .metadata file and have NWDS install itself again?
Ok so I deleted the .metadata and restarted my PC.
It's back and fine. Why does this happen? I've lost the Private stuff before, the ability to apply template, etc.

For weeks I have been viewing a doggy day care center via their web cam. This weekend I upgraded to Lion and have been unable to view the center. I get an error message for Java plug-in 1.6.0_29 ....webcam class not found. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Sorry, don't know what else to suggest unless there's a URL to the problem stream that someone here can try. Otherwise we can't test it to try and determine what might be wrong.
BTW, make sure they're testing it with a Mac, not with a Windows system. If they test only with Windows, what they say is or is not working doesn't mean much.

OEP 12.1.3
Following the instructions in 4 Adapters (12c Release 1 (12.1.3)) I have created a custom message converter bean for my Outbound JMS Adapter (I had to add the JAR file com.bea.wlevs.adapters.jms_12.1.3.0_0.jar from OEP_HOME\oep\modules to my project to make the code compile). However, upon deployment, I ran into a class not found exception:

I have tried adding the JAR file (com.bea.wlevs.adapters.jms_12.1.3.0_0.jar) to my deployment JAR. That did not make any difference.
Does anyone know why this class OutboundMessageConverter is not found - and more importantly: what I can do to make it available in the run time?
thanks.
LucasTo make a package available to your application at runtime for OEP, you will need to add it to the application's MANIFEST.MF file to the Import Package section (since the OEP server is OSGi-based). There's no need to supply a version number, you can just enter the package name (e.g.)

Class not found in applet using 2 jar files
I have an applet which has been working for years as a stand alone or connecting directly to a derby database on my home server. I have just changed it to connect to MySQL on my ISP server via AJAX and PHP.
I am now getting a class not found error in my browser, probably because I'm stuffing up the class path.
The HTML I am using to call the applet is:
<applet code="AMJApp.class"
codebase="http://www.interactived.com/JMTalpha"
archive="AMJ014.jar,plugin.jar"
width="500"height="500"
MAYSCRIPT style="border-width:0;"
name="jsap" id="jsap"></applet>The AMJ014.jar contains the applet and supporting class files.
The error message is strange to me because it refers to a class I noticed on another web page but which has nothing to do with my applet. Anyway, the message in full is:

I have seen your two posts and there are something you need to notice:
Where the ClassNotFound exception you got? From deployment tool or
application server kjs process?
Of course, you need not to add supporting classes to each ejb jars or ears.
1. If you use deployment tool to package your application, I'm sure you'll
fail to resovle your classes without supporting classes added to jars.
Please select Edit->Preference,in Classpath entry, enter the supporting
classes(packaged to jar files) location. This should work.
2. After deploy to ias, please edit the registry using kregedit which you
described in your posts.

Johnson

When I deploy EJBs to the iPlanet app server I find that I need to include
all supporting classes in each ejb jar file. According to the
Administrator's manual I should be able to modify the kjs classpath bydoing
the following:
On Windows
a.. Open iPlanet Registry Editor.
(See About iPlanet Registry Editor)
b.. Open the following key:
SOFTWARE\iPlanet\Application Server\6.0\Java\
c.. Modify the class path and restart the server for the change to take
effect.
However, when I add my supporting classes to a jar in this directory Istill
get a class not found exception when I run the deployment tool.
Adding the classes to each EJB jar is redundant and introduces lots of
problems. How should I configure iPlanet so I only need to put my
supporting classes in one place?
Thanks,

Java applet class not found exception for check scan
I am getting a class not found exception when trying to scan a check into a banking website. The application uses Java and the exception error has the name "com.epaysol.checkscanAppletV2" in the message. I have the latest Firefox and the latest Java installed. I tried going to an earlier version of Firefox and of Java where this app worked in the past and it does not work now in the earlier versions either. So I am now back to the latest version of everything.

Class not found error for COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver
i have written this code:
import java.io.*;
import java.sql.*;
public class tryjdbc
{ public static void main (String args[])
{ try
{ Class.forName("COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver"); }
catch (java.lang.ClassNotFoundException e)
{ System.out.print(e.getMessage()); }
and once i try to run it, it gives out a class not found exception error.
I haven't changed anything with the classpath since I don't think the problem is with the classpath. I have read in the IBM Developer Kit for Java documentaton that the AS/400 Developer Kit for Java automatically adds the db2_class.jar file to the classpath. So why do I get a class not found exception error?I was using Web Spehere 4.0.3 and trying to connect to a database on DB2 7.2. I was just following a tutorial and trying to get a handle on Web Sphere. I am running all of these on a Windows 2000 Operating System. Here are some of my observations :
a. db2java.zip packaged under %DB2ROOT%\SQLLIB\JAVA, does not work.
b. CLASSPATH needs to be set to %DB2ROOT%\sqllib\java12\db2java.zip
c. Include this as one of the packages in the package defined in
WebSphere, using the Java Perspective.
d. Ensure that case sensitivity is respected. All though the package
shows up as COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver, for some reason, it
will only accept com.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver.
With these settings, I was able to connect to a db2 database.
I am a little puzzled on the following. I did not include java.io package, but still it could print the messages. Did anybody have a similar experience

Class Not Found Exception After Connecting From a JDeveloper
Hi,
I am following the tutorial on SOA and started to experience problems in deployments (all but the console, including em) after the connection to the remote weblogic (10.3.5) from JDeveloper. I would know if the connection modifies the WLS environment. Unfortunately I did not note the message before wiping the setup, but found many entries on Google referring to some ADF library. I followed the suggestion to apply the adf runtime to the WLS install but this not helped.
By the way, I would just understand if the remote connection from a JDeveloper adds some configuration which is then eventually not found in the target WLS.
Thanks

Class not found for class generated by autotype when deploy
I'm getting a ClassNotFoundException when I attempt to deploy a webservice that was originally generated from an XSD.
1) I create the stubs using "autotype" and the schemaFile attribute. Class files are generated and placed in the location specified by destDir.
2) I then run source2wsdd to generate the web-services.xml and WSDL files. source2wsdd specified the "javaSource" attribute and points to the java file the WebService is to call.
I also take all the generated JAVA classes and put it into a JAR file for step 3.
3) I run wspackage to create the EAR file. For "webAppClasses" I specify the class files that goes with the "javaSource" specified in step 2. I also take the JAR file created in step 2 (which contains all the code generated by step 1) and use "utilJars" to put in the the /lib directory of the war file.
4) When I deploy, I get a "class not found" for one of the classes that is in the utility jar file I created in step 2. I have verified that the jar file is in the "web-inf/lib" directory.
What am I not seeing that is causing WebLogic (WLS 8.0 SP2) to not find the class?
Thanks in advance...

My service now deploys, but I'm having problems doing a "source2wsdd" from inside

For now I have to run the build outside Eclipse, but at least my service is deployable.
