does anyone know what are legal chacters for JMS properties for SJSMQ?

which mentions:

Cause An attempt was made to use a property name containing an illegal character. See JMS Message API Javadoc for valid property names.we are sometimes hitting this problem.
e.g. '1' is not valid or strings with '-' but what else what else?
i am migrating a huge application from STCMS (which allowed such property names) to SJSMQ and i would like to know exactly what is legal and not legal. does anyone know?

It worked totally fine till FF28. I feel that it is an issue related to getting connected to XPCOM from Javascript.So my webpage is not responding for any event(eg:CLICK). I believe that I can use some other wrapping technique.Do you think XPCNativeWrapper will work instead of WrappedJSobject??

You can get this error message if JavaScript uses a variable name to reference an object that has now become a reserved name and thus can no longer be used.
It will be necessary to modify the code and use another name if this is the case.
You probably can see this if you use the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) and start typing the name of this object and possibly get a list of available object for auto-completion.

Trying where? What sort of email address? The following answer is based on a guess as to what you are talking about.
If you already have an @me.com address, perhaps as a result of having had a MobileMe account, and you are now setting up an iCloud account with an Apple ID you will find you will be asked to create a new @me.com address, and that you can't add your existing one because it is already an Apple ID.
You can do one of two things:
1. Sign out at System Preferences; sign in with your existing @me.com address and enable Mail.
2. Stay signed in with the present ID and add your @me.com address in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts & Calendars.
If you have further questions, or if your situation is different from what I've assumed, do please post back, but in a suitable forum - this one is specifically about using these Forums.

I created a site column at the root of my site and I have publishing turned on. I selected the Hyperlink with formatting and constraints for publishing.
I went to my subsite and added the column. The request was to have "Open in new tab" for their hyperlinks. I was able to get the column to be added and yesterday we added items without a problem.
The problem arose when, today, a user told me that he could not edit the hyperlink. He has modify / delete permissions on this list.
He would edit the item, in a custom list, and click on the address "click to add a new hyperlink" and then he would get the error below after succesfully putting in the Selected URL (http://www.xxxxxx.com), Open
Link in New Window checkbox, the Display Text, and Tooltip:

The farm is running SharePoint 2010 SP2 Enterprise Edition August 2013 CU Mark 2, 14.0.7106.5002
and I saw in another post, below with someone who had a similar problem and the IISreset fixed it, as did this problem. I wonder if this is resolved in the latest updated CU of SharePoint, the April 2014 CU?

We had the same issue after applying the SP2 & August CU. we open the case with MSFT and get the same resolution as you mentioned.
I blog about this issue and having the office reference.
Later MSFT release the Hotfix for this on December 10, 2013 which i am 100% positive should be part of future CUs.
So if you apply the April CU then you will be fine.

I invoked New Mesage
I typed a Name in Manually (rather than using the blue + icon)
I clicked on the "to" name and got this

I don't get a Bonjour Option here.
I do get a Jabber ID showing up for them but for soem reason it does not list my "From" account.
I would say that I have seen multiple "To"s and the same for the "From" choices and I think I have seen the Bonjour one listed.
However the "To" And "From"s don't seem to match and it appears you can iMessage Jabber names/ID or Jabber AIM names (which you can't in either case)

Find and print illegal character in a string using regexp

I have the following simple regexp that checks for illegal characters in a string:

1. You call lookingAt(), but you don't check its return value, so you don't know if the regex actually matched.
2. matcher.end() returns the index of the character following whatever was matched, assuming there was a match (if there wasn't, it will throw an exception). So either it will point to a legal character, or you'll get a StringIndexOutOfBoundsException because an illegal character was found at the end of the input. The start() method would be a better choice, but...
3. Your regex can match multiple consecutive square brackets or semicolons (and why not put the at-sign in the character class, too?), but you're acting like it can only match one character. Even if there is only one character, group(1) is an easier way to extract it. Also, if there are more than one (non-consecutive) illegal characters, your regex will only find the last one. That's because the first dot-star initially gobbles up the whole input, then backtracks only as far as it has to to satisfy the rest of the regex. If your goal is to provide feedback to whoever supplied the input, it's going to be pretty confusing feedback. You should probably use the find() method in a loop to pick out all the illegal characters so you can report them properly.

Hi, this is a common problem, mostly just irksome though.
It can have many cause, like using more than one Interface for connections, Router temporarily losing x.local & seeing a new connection with x.local already used, insists it must be x-1.local, x-2.local, etc..
What all Sharing do you have enabled?

Error message when publishing to MobilMe using GoDaddy domain name

I am trying to publish my site from iWeb '09 to MobilMe. I am using a domain name purchased through GoDaddy. When I publish the entire site in iWeb, it seems to publish fine, but when I click to "visit site", I get a page with an error message, "Looking for something on MobileMe?
The account you requested doesn't exist or is currently inactive. Please make sure the URL is spelled and capitalized correctly, and try again.

That Vist button has been a problem for others also. Why, I don't know. Try using the File ➙ Visit Published Site menu option. That has worked for me when the Visit button wouldn't.
If that menu option works you can try the following to see if you can get the Visit button to work:
1 - close iWeb.
2 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your Home/Library/Preferences folder.
3 - go to your Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete the contents.
4 - reboot.
5 - launch iWeb and try again.

Messages will only use AIM names from Contacts

Hi, all of a sudden, Message will only use AIM names from my Contacts when I create a new message. In the example below, all three of these people have multiple other address in Contacts that Messages used to present as options but, as you can see, now I only get the AIM names.
Does anybody know what might be happening here?

Bottom left of that pic (out of sight) will be a extra info spot that tell you how many Non iMessages accounts you have logged in and tells you the Description Names (taken from the Preferences > Accounts)
If in the Preferences > General Section you have Unticked the item about "Gather(ing) all Accounts into one List" then you will get a similar List in the Window Menu (of Logged in Accounts).
If only an AIM valid ID/Screen Name remains Logged in then the "To" drop down will only show AIM Buddies.
A Pic I have used elsewhere showing the Prefs/Accounts with the Descriptions and the Window Menu plus a arrow to the Main Messages window list of same
I restricted my Logins to one AIM (Main AIM - highlighted) and a Google Login and the Bonjour account.
As Eric says make sure other accounts are Logged in or Enabled.

Illegal character error on good filename

I created a new RoboHelp project and tried to insert a graphic named Timeline.jpg. I got the following error:
Unable to rename file, "Timeline.jpg".
The filename contains illegal characters.
I tried inserting a graphic that I had used in a previous RoboHelp project and got the same error. Then I opened a previous RoboHelp project and was able to successfully insert the Timeline.jpg graphic into that project.
I'm on Windows XP and RoboHelp 8. I would really like to avoid having to re-install RoboHelp, but I'm not sure where to look to troubleshoot this error message. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry that I wasn't more specific in reporting my solution.
I cannot say that the deletion RB7 helped because I had done that before making my other changes. Another website that I had visited suggested that Robo sometimes has a problem when a previous version still exists, so I can't say that removing it solved the problem.
Previously, all the project files were in a folder on my desktop, several layers deep. BeforeI upgraded to v.208 I did not have a problem inserting images and I never got the "illegal character name" or "cannot rename" errors. AfterI upgraded the problems began. BTW, I had checked the file path back to the image locations to make sure there were no spaces, illegal file names, etc. So I knew the errors were bogus.
After the upgrade I also noticed that all of the images I had previously inserted remained viewable in Preview Topic, but ALL of the images disappeared when I looked at the project after compilation. At that time I was able to insert new images by saving them to the Gallery folder of RB8. Perhaps I may have been able to insert them from another, nearby folder...I don't know.
AfterI deleted RB7 I figured, heck, why not make everything clean and simple and copy the whole project from the desktop folder to a new folder in the root of "C." When I re-opened the project everything was okay - back to normal.
If I can suggest anything from my experience it would be that clean, simple directory structures are what RB-8.208 likes most and if you get too far away from RB's project folders you may get similar errors.
