Messaging stopped delivering

Messaging won't deliver messages..  Shut down all apps which worked in the past but not this time

Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!

  • Adapter Engine Message in Delivering Status

    Hi All,
Any idea how to cancel/delete the messages which are in delivering status in Adapter Engine.
In my case a single EOIO message is stuck in the AE with delivering status. Other messages are flowing successfully using the same cc.
Earlier during such cases we had to restart j2ee/ stop/start AF Messaging to resolve the problem.
Just wondering if theres any other solution?
btw : The message was in delivering status because the password mentioned in the receiver channel was wrong. There were other messages which failed but the status of those messages went into "System Error". Nothing wrong with that, but just wondering why did a single message remain in the "Delivering" status.
I have already been through this thread Re: How to delete message in "Delivering" status. Only exists in Adapter Engine and didnt find/understand anything which could help me.
    Thanks

  • Exception: ORABPEL-05007 No messages being delivered

Can any one help me with the following errors? I have a number of composites deployed into an environment and all composites have stopped delivering messages. I can see from the EM console that the end point is being called when I run a test from the EM but the mediator, BPEL and child services are not being called. I have checked the logs and nothing is being produced?? This is stopping our whole environment from happening and this occurs more than once a week?
An internal exception has not been properly handled by the server.
Set the logging level for all loggers to debug, and resubmit your request again. The server log should contain a more detailed exception report.

We tried to diagnose the cause of this problem multiple times by initially rebuilding the environment however the same issue occurred again.
We did notice that this was occuring over time rather than immediately after deploying code and eventually stumbled across what we think the cause was. It seems that in this environment (test) over time a number of instances were failing and that these instances would continually use up all the available threads within the environment. A Restart would free up the threads and some instances would process again but eventually the environment would ground to a halt again. It seems that the faulted instances would accumalate over time to a certain point where all available threads were in use which is when we seemed to get these errors.
To rectify we made sure that the developers had appropriate fault policies implemented along with time outs and avoided long synchronous transactions which seemed to stop the problems altogether. Haven't had this issue for some time now. We also made sure in dev and test environments that old instances of processes in running or faulted state where purged periodically to reduce the problems.
    Hope this helps.

  • Smtp_out stopped delivering mail.

Yesterday, smtp_out stopped delivering mail to external domains.
Then I stopped and restarted oesctl smtp_out.
    I'm running 904 Collab suite.
I think there is a bug for this. But nevertheless, is there a way to monitor when smtp_out or smtp_in is in a problematic state?
For example , does OEM grid control able to monitor these outages?
    help please.

No, I don't think that there is a standard error message. I have had two massive slowdowns in the past 4 days in smtp_out and it seems that they were caused by totally different reasons.
The last time we encountered a problem with smtp_out there were totally different messages in the smtp_out log, stating something about the AQ, which I guess is the Advanced Queueing.
Its really a pain that a product that is praised to be self-configuring and managing has so very little possibilities to monitor these vital processes. Even to look at the queues, you'll have to use sqlplus.

  • 20 SMS Messages - says delivered - never arrived -...

I sent out 20 odd sms messages today - all say deleivered - just followed up with the people I sent them to- and they all said they never received it. Nice one Skype. Are you using some sort of 3rd World partner for the cheapest sms - that doesn;t work? Or maybe just New Zealand telcos - which are worse than most 3rd World Countries to be honest. I do not want to post the message I sent here as personal, but I do not like being charged for something that didn;t work/ never happened. I have noticed this before with Skype SMS - and just stopped using it a while back. Shouldnt have bothered again today - but you know what? I'd like my money back! please. Skype: cohenglass

    Hello jamesglass,
    Thank you for your post.
When you first send a mesage, the status should be shown as Sent. When we receive the delivery notification (Delivered or Failed) from the recipient's carrier, we will display it in your Skype client. However, if we do not receive any confirmation, we retry sending your message for up to 24 hours after which we will automatically refund you if a confirmation is still not received or if the message status from the operator indicates a failure.
If message sending used to work but suddenly stopped, or if the status indicates Delivered but the message was not received, please read this post for how to help us fix your problem:

  • Text Messaging stopped working after changing Apple password, although it is still working on my iPhone.a

Text Messaging stopped working after changing Apple password, although it is still working on my iPhone.  I tried changing the password in the Settings>Messenger, but can't get it to work.  What do I do?

After I type in the message and click on the Send button, "Sending" is displayed, but at the end of this process, a message under the message says "Not Delivered".

  • I message not delivered

Not able to send IMessage through I phone 5 and as well as IPad Air. Getting a message stating that message not delivered! Can any suggest to set right this?!
    Thanks!
    Shiv

You need an active Sim with text message capabilities to send SMS messages as they go through your carrier. You need an internet connection to send iMessages to other iOS devices.
If you are connected to the internet and cannot send iMessages, I suggest you sign off iMessage on both iPhone and iPad and then sign back in again.
Make sure your "send from" in settings is appropriate.  For example if you have selected send from your phone number and your sim card is not on the phone, this might be a problem, so if you do not want to put the sim back on the phone, then select an iCloud account or other email account to send from.
Make sure the person you are trying to reach has "received at" properly selected on their iDevices.

  • Text messages on iphone 5s getting error message not delivered

when attempting to send a text messages on iPhone 5s getting error message not delivered with a red explanation mark. I have filed cases with carrier and it comes back as device, some messages do go thru fine and then it will give the error for several message and then back to working again. Please Help.

    Hi
I am NOT trying to be mean or patronizing so my apologies if this comes across that way
    That said
SMS texts are sent on a part of the same carrier wave that carries voice calling and conversation as opposed to data - which is why even non smart phones can text - it is the unused portion of the spectrum that initially carriers were making money off of
    http://computer.howstuffworks.com/e-mail-messaging/sms.htm
In other words - to be able to text - one has to have a plan that supports that
Also that is why in some plans international texts have a cost whereas one can merrily iMessage from anywhere in the world and get away with it free
So - if the texts are not leaving your phone - chances are that they do not have a channel to do that - that is an AT&T issue

  • Why won't the messages stop?!?

I was woken at 0331 this-morning by a message from Telstra telling me that I have used 50% of my data allowance. There was a second, identical message at 0430. A third message at 0526, at which stage I angrily logged in to my account and turned notifications off. Despite turning notifications off, the messages have continued to arrive on my phone; at 0557, 0635, 0720, and the latest at 0744. I'm getting really, really pissed-off now, Telstra, for two reasons: 1. Why the hell does your system send people messages at 3.30a.m.?  In what universe is that even possibly acceptable?  It's not an emergency, it's a data-usage notification, and it is unbelievably inconsiderate to be sending people messages like that in the middle of the bloody night. 2. Why the hell haven't the messages stopped since I turned off the notifications? I shall await a reply, and I do hope said reply is more helpful than the robo-script replies I got from Telstra's email contact a few weeks ago when I had the same problem of SMS notifications arriving in the middle of the night! Totally unsatisfactory, Telstra.

Well I am not 100% sure how it works however let’s say you were using data last night and you went through 50%, 75% and then 100% of your data. 5 hours later in the middle of the night it sends you a 50% data usage message, 5 minutes after that it sends you a 75% usage message and so on and so forth. It’s not an ideal system because of the delay however I guess if you weren’t to get the messages people would be unhappy about that as well. The delay in the usage is the problem.

  • EO Messages with Delivering Status in Adapter Engine

    Hi All,
We have a scenario DB-DB Asy with Java Proxies. Proxies are there to accept the messages from Sender DB and insert in target DB. Get the response from target DB and insert back that to Sender DB.
Actually the scenario is Syn, but we made it as Asynchronous by implementing Java Proxies.
Now we are using EO mode in Sender JDBC channel. We have 17 interfaces in the similar pattern. We are using one common XI receiver channel for all these 17 interfaces.
If one message got struck, then rest other Proxies are not getting triggered and not able to resend the message ( ofcourse I know I cannot resend with Delivering Status). But not sure what causes the messages to failed with Delivering Status mode.
Any pointers would be highly appreciated.
Will increase of Parallel Queues really solve my problem? If it fails in Prod, its a big problem for us as we dont want to lose the data. Now everytime we are restarting the Message service server.
    Regards,
    Srinivas

Normally if there is any problem in target then you will see the adapter engine message as delivering
after the no of retires set then status will go to system error
during this entry check  the CC used what is the error causing for that ?

  • Synchronous message stops at inbound channel response

    Hi,
We have an outstanding issue in PI where our synchronous messages stops after receiving the response from the Receiver system. This is an ABAP proxy - JDBC scenario. We already increased the ICM Keep Alive timeout from 600 to 900 seconds but still the issue persist. Also, the processing timeout is already 900 seconds. Do you know the issue why this issue is occuring? On the R/3 side, when the abap proxy is executed it is throwing an error "Error while receiving.. HTTP 402".
    Regards,
    Geoff
Edited by: Geoffrey Mendoza on Jun 15, 2011 7:26 PM

    Hi Geoff,
The error 402 means "Payment Required".
This code is reserved for future use and does not give us a good hint.
Is it possible for you to enter more details so we may be able to point out a specific cause?
    Regards,

    Messages stopped working on iMac

No luck with these troubleshooting tips either... I don't have a lot of time to dig in, but I did capture some console logs during an auth event this morning to see if it would show anything useful.
Console logs during authentication - 10:30am EST, 13 Jan 2014
13/01/14 10:30:35.120 AM imagent[7679]: [Warning] Empty account query with service: iMessage

13/01/14 10:30:49.614 AM imagent[7679]: [Warning] Missing push certificate
13/01/14 10:30:49.646 AM imagent[7679]: [Warning] *** Listener ID: com.apple.CalendarAgent  does not have capability: (Status), not allowing request
It looks like there could be a certificate issue but I'm seeing a current valid cert for com.apple.idms.appleid.prd.xxx so I'm not sure which cert this could be referring to.  There's no indication in the console message and there is no useful information in the error message from the app.
I can log in to Messages on my iMac so I think it's a local issue only.

  • Anyone have a problem sending text messages being delivered after few minutes up to five minutes?

Has anyone have a problem sending text messages and the messages won't get delivered after few minutes? From time to time I would have this problem and it's annoying.  I would expect someone to receive it by then and response to my text right away.  But when I look up the text it hasn't been delivered and it's in the process.  I would hear that the message get delivered after few minutes? What gives? I never had a problem with my iphone 4 i think? Now with iOS 5 it let's me know whether it is delivered or not.  This new feature is awesome but disappointing when I know my text hasn't been delivered right away.  I'm not sure if it's the software or my iphone 4s or my carrier? anyone suggestions?  Thanks!!

I have the same problem when sending iMessages.. Wasnt sure if it was apple or Sprint? But it happens VERY often and I end up having to send it as a text message instead
