Mi iphone no reproduce musica ni videos a menos que tenga los audifonos conectados, no nada en el altavoz no reproduce ningun ringtone no funciona Siri. Lo mas extraño es que tambien me esta limitando el uso de internet, funciona perfectamente solo con los audifonos, sin ellos hasta presenta falla de conexion a la red. que podria hacer?

Last night I finally thought i'd figured out how to get music and video onto my phone. It worked but then it stopped working while driving down the road. The iPhone then began telling me that it contained none of the things that i'd just been using minutes before. "No Music" "No Video" "No Playlists". When I got home I plugged it in and it synced. I can see the playlists in iTunes but everything is Greyed out. It shows as taking up space but the iPhone still says "no music" "no video". This is really really frustrating. Really really FRUSTRATING. Apple? Can you help me?

My songs and videos and podcasts were loaded yesterday, but after removing from the dock after overnight charging this morning, the iPod function indicated that there was no content, even though the "About.." option in the iPhone settings showed all of the iPhone space was being utilized but also reported 0 songs and 0 videos. After powering the iPhone off (hold the sleep button until the red power off slider appears and turn off) and powering back on, essentially a reboot, all of my song and video content reappears. Maybe it has something to do with the overnight docking/sync and interaction with iTunes?
Hopefully others who experience this can find this post before they lose hope. Other than this glitch, the iPhone has been spectacular...like an artifact from the future. -
Why won't iPhone 5 sync music and videos?
I bought a new iPhone 5 and can't get it to sync my music and videos.
My iMac is running the latest OS, the iPhone is running the latest iOS and I'm using the latest iTunes 11.0.1.
It syncs all the apps, books, and other files okay. When I select, or deselect, a movie or playlist that I want synced the Summary page shows the Audio Video Apps and Other colour-coded space allocation bar correctly but when I run the sync no music nor videos are copied, the sync only takes a couple of seconds, and the Audio and Video parts of the space allocation bar disappear.
Variously I've tried checking and unchecking 'Sync only checked songs and videos' and 'Manually manage music and videos'. I've tried restarting both devices of course. I've signed out of iTunes and signed back in just in case it was an authorisation issue. I've tried creating a backup of the iPhone on iTunes in case this was needed to make a connection between both but nothing will work for me.
The music in question is NOT DRM. They are all files I've ripped myself from CDs and DVDs over the years. They sync correctly on my iPad - also running the same latest version of iOS - so I can't see how it would be a problem with the files themselves.
I've tried googling this but it just throws up so many hits that I can't find anyone having the exact same issue.
Any suggestions gratefully received before I tear my hair out.
ThanksI'm having the exact same issue... The first time I plugged in my iphone it came up as a new iphone and asked me what I wanted to sync, and then I tried to put a bunch of my music on there. It acted like it was syncing, but only put a bunch of empty unplayable reference files on my iphone, nothing I can play. I deleted all of those, and tried to sync my music again, along with some videos. No luck. The files appear as if it recognizes the amount of space my music will take up on the iphone, but when I hit sync it disappears as if it synced in about 1 second, and nothing new is on my phone.
I'm on a PC, quad core, Intel i-7 2.2 Ghz, 8 Gigs of RAM, Windows 7. I don't see any reason that this would be happening based on my system.

Hi. Downloaded iphone 6.0 and my video playlists in "Music" are now gone, but their names are still there. The videos are still in "Videos" and play from there 1 at a time manually. It gets weirder:
When looking at the empty screen with the name of my former playlist on top, if I tap the edit button on the phone, tap the + button to add a 'song' to the playlist, and then tap 'Done' without adding anything, I can see all my videos in the playlist with the red minus symbol next to each of them. But as soon as I tap 'Done' again they all disappear!
I saw on another forum that someone has had the same problem but fixed it by, and I quote
"If you go to Get Info and change the Media Kind from Movie to Music Video under the Options tab, they all now appear in the playlists!"
I'm happy this worked for him, but when I tap "File" in itunes, the "Get info" field is greyed out, so I can't test the solution proposed.
Any ideas?

Hi, I've an iPad Mini with the latest version 6.0.2, a windows 7 Home Premium laptop and iTunes 11.0.1 (12), but I can't synchronize my music or videos with it. I managed to syncronize my books but thats all.
I also have an iphone 5 and everything seems to work fine with it.
I see all movies and music available to be sync but when I click on the sync button, the process starts, the bottom bar shows an increase in consumed space then nothing happens and the bar goes back as nothing was added.
Please help..

Can't add music my iPhone from iTunes.
When I try to drag a song over to my phone, I get the circle w/ the syncing line through it, but it does not update/load.
[Manually manage music and videos] is checked. And, this is the only Mac I have ever used to add music to my phone.

Have you tried resetting the device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if your Music app is behaving normally.

You will need a SIM to activate it. There is no way around that. The SIM does not have to be active, but it must be from the correct carrier if the phone is carrier locked. Once activated, it can be removed and used like an iPod touch, but if you ever have to restore or update iOS, you will need the SIM to re-activate it.

I have Mac itunes and a touch 2G. My wife has Win7 and touch 4G (both iOS 4.2.1). She got a new iphone, I now have her touch 4G, and am trying to sync it to my Mac itunes. The music and videos sync to the 4G, but apps & podcast will not. All are checked to sync. During sync, it gets to "determining apps to sync" then immediately goes to "finished syncing". No apps or podcasts from my Mac itunes are on the touch 4G.
You can only sync to one iTunes library but you can manage music and videos among different computer/libraries.
It appears that you are trying to sync with a different library.

--- Restore the iPod from that backup. Note that synced media like apps and music are not in included in the backup. -
Recently Got a Mac Book and was wondering if there is any software that Apple recommends to import my music/pics/video from my Iphone onto my computer. I no longer have the previous computer and if I sync my Iphone I'll lose everything.

You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new windows installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup! (Windows tip). For a Mac use Time Machine or Carbon Copy Cloner.

Cannot sync music and videos to an iPhone 5 running iOS 8.0 b1 on iTunes 11.2.2
Hey everyone.
Yesterday, I decided to take the leap to iOS 8.0 beta 1 on my iPhone 5. So far, things have been working ok (with the expected bugs here and there), except for this one thing above.
After I got it all installed on my iPhone, I then proceeded to restore from my most recent backup that I made prior to the install of this first beta of iOS 8.0. All that other stuff (my contacts, apps, and ringtones) came back just fine. For some reason, when it got to the part with syncing my music and videos, it was able to initally get them copied over, but then iTunes would get stuck on either "waiting for items to copy" or "waiting for changes to be applied". I remember this same thing happening last year when I updated to iTunes 11 as well.
Is there any workaround I can do to get this to work, or am I going to have to wait for the next update of iTunes to come out? What I'm guessing is that I won't be able to sync these things right now as the current version of iTunes only has full support for up to the most recent public release of iOS, 7.1.1. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
Also, I have one other little error to ask about. After clicking on check for updates from the menubar, for some reason after checking for updates to iTunes it will show this message: "The iPhone software update server could not be contacted. An unknown error occurred (-50)." My iPhone isn't even connected to my Mac right now in any form, whether it would be by a lightning cable or wifi.Same issue that everyone else is having with me, and I'm also upset with Apple. Hardware is superlative, but software keeps going downhill. I'm running OSX 10.9 anditunes 11.4. I've tried every sync fix that may have worked for others, but nothing works for me. iTunes was great in the beginning, but the programmers seem dedicated to cutting its knees off with redesign that is inane instead of intuitive,, dropped feaqures, etc. I even hear the itunes 12 drops the sidebar!! I am getting the clear impression that the itunes group is a dumping ground for the rest of Apple. Fix this sync problem now. At a minum just re-use the code that worked before. N.
