Midp guide, how to use it.

Hi,
I like to make midp programs for my mobile device, but my mobile device supports only midp 1.0.
I was wondering is there a way to install midp 2.0 or above and how ?

wrong bold beginning tag.

Can I make something like a remote control through bluetooth, my goal is next>
a list of items represents a name of commands
play(p)
pause(b)
stop(h)
seek(f)
next(nx)
previus(pv)
shutdown(pd)
exit(x), when I press the item it must send a string to bluetooth, on the other side on a computer a server is reading the string, depending of a content it do some actions.
Now, about the bluetooth api, is it available in midp 1.0 ?

  • How to use "Referenced Output"

    Dear Sir/Madam,
I find the concept "Referenced Output" in the GSM user guide, How to use or set Referenced output in formulation?
    Thanks
    Terry

You can also "graduate" an external output material to a referenced product. From the External Product Material specification, look under the Material Attributes section, you should see the Output Type property with a "graduation cap" next to it (you made need specific role membership, the Oracle docs would have the specifics for this). Clicking the cap icon will change the output type from external to your choice of Referenced - Product, By-Product or waste. Saving the spec will change the output type, but be aware that changing to a referenced output type severs the theoretical roll up link with the original formulation (nutrients will no longer be rolled up from the formulation, nor will breakdowns and compliance information, etc.)

  • How to use a Certificate authentication to connect to a ONTAP 8.3 Cluster in Posh?

Hi All,      I've configured my Cluster Vserver to be able to authenticate via a self signed certificate. I'm able to use Perl NMSDK to connect and it works good. I want to use Powershell cmdlets for this. How can I do this? I've tried Connect-NcCluster but I don't see any option to specify a certificate there.  I'm also open to use NMSDK for Posh if someone can guide how to use it. I've tried that too but I can't get it working. Can anyone help? sinhaa

Hi Sinhaa - You've discovered the key difference between the Perl API bindings in the NMSDK and the PowerShell toolkit.  The NMSDK, and with the Perl bindings in particular, easily exposes the entire SDK from basic connection methods, the lowlevel XML building mechanisms, and a single function wrapper around each individual ZAPI function call that handles both the XML building from and recoveyr into convenient Perl data structures.  The entire API is accessible including higher privilege level options and commands. The PowerShell toolkit is much more a convenience wrapper around common functions for those in a Windows environment.  It doesn't expose the entire API, it doesn't expose all the parameters of the APIs that it does wrap (for instance, you can't access or use options only available in Advanced or Diagnostic mode), and security is somewhat Windows centric in that it uses a saved credential model similar to other Windows systems. As my company tends to be more Windows centric the PowerShell toolkit tends to be the default utility used for most automation, but I drop to the Perl NMSDK bindings for almost everything I do of substance because I need the abilities it provides.  I've asked through many channels for the PowerShell toolkit to at least add Advanced mode privilige options for a number of the cmdlets it provides.  Haven't yet seen any indication that those will be forthcoming. Bob

    Dear Doron
Solution Manager system will never physically participate in the upgrade of a Netweaver Server. It will only help you to find the right files via the maintenance optimizer. Also if you want to develop / use a Project for your upgrade you could use the upgrade roadmap and then use Solution Manager as a Project Management tool for the upgrade.
Besides this there will be no guide available for "upgrading" a system, since the upgrade roadmap is generic and the maintenance optimizer feature is isolated from the roadmap. You will have to follow the upgrade guides available on
    http://service.sap.com/instguides.
Hope that this answers your query.

  • Any guides on how to use UIScrollView?

    Hi,
    having difficulty implementing UIScrollView.
I have UIViewController which has UIView on it. I have changed UIView class inside IB to UIScrollView, but have no idea how to make it to scroll vertically?
At the moment its static and doesn't scroll at all.
On my UIScrollView I have label, image and textview and text view length is unknown as it is loaded from database.
What I want to achieve is that if textview doesn't fit on current view I want to be able scroll up and down. Do I need to have another UIView inside UIScrollView and place all my components on UIView instead of UIScrollView? Do I need to resize UIScrollView myself to be big enough for my components to fit?
    Any help is really appreciated.

Don't know about tutorials for smart mailboxes, but I would suggest playing around with them as they are fairly self explanatory, as in you can filter either messages or to dos according to the rules you can see and choose. You can also create a smart folder that will filter messages from other smart folders, and so on and so forth.
If you mean inbox, sent... for "standard" mailbox, you are correct. You cannot add a "sub mailbox" to these, you can only add a "sub mailbox" - mailbox within a mailbox - to a mailbox you create on your mac or if you have an IMAP account, under that IMAP mailbox/folder structure.
As for best practice, again it will be up to you depending on how you use Mail and what type of messages you get, how many you get, and what you want to achieve. Some users filter their incoming mail to smart mailboxes directly and view in smart mailboxes, others create rules to move their email or set up automatic actions - see mail>preferences>rules to create rules - and view the mailboxes the incoming mail was moved to others just work straight from their inbox and drag and drop manually, and nothing stops you from using a combination of the above depending on the type of emails you receive and what you want to do with them.
    hope this helps

  • Sender Mail Adapter - S/MIME - How to use it?

    Hi guys,
I am trying to figure out how to use the S/MIME security parameter of the Sender Mail Adapter in PI 7.1.
Could anyone point me to some useful documentation/examples/blogs ?
Or perhaps explain what steps are involved when configuring this parameter?
We are pulling emails from an Microsoft Exchange server.
    Many thanks,
    Aldo

First of all one sender mail adapter has to be tight with a specific sender email address.
The email has to be decrypted as whole, you cannot decrypt parts of it.
Then you store certificates to secure store in J2EE server and point to it in send agreement, this should be equal to HTTPS setup
    Check security guide:

    1) Download Root Explorer from google play ( Or any similar app ) .
    2) When you'll open this app Superuser would ask for permissions. Allow it
    3) Now using that app go to SYSTEM/ APP / Copy all the apps and paste them somewhere on memory card ( incase if you need in future)
    4) Now again go to SYSTEM/ APP / . On the top right corner you'll see Mount R/W , tap on it ( Now you should see it as Mount R/O )
    4) Now to delete an app tap and hold on the app you want to delete and press delete
After deleting the necessary apps, restart your phone. ( You can also select the mark options and delete all the NECESSARY apps in one go )

    How to root 4.0.4 (4.1.B.0.587 & 4.1.B.0.431)
We cannot root 4.1.B.0.587 directly, so to root it we first flash 4.1.A.0.562 kernel, run the rooting toolkit and in the end flash 4.1.B.0.587 kernel.
Few devices don't have their own 4.1.A.0.562 kernel, so we need to flash the 4.1.A.0.562 kernel of other devices just to root. However all devices have 4.1.B.0.587 kernel.
    Follow all the steps.
Go to settings > Security > Mark  "Unknown sources"
Settings > Developer options > Mark USB debugging
Settings > Xperia > connectivity > USB connection mode > select MSC mode
    Download Flashtool
    Windows Users > Flashtool
Linux Users > Flashtool ( From previous release tab, download 0.9.0.0 version)
After installing flashtool, reboot your PC.
1 ) Download the respective 4.1.A.0.562 kernel to flash
Arc and Arc S  - Kernel
         Ray                -  Kernel
         Neo/Neo V      -  Kernel
         LwW, Mini       - Kernel
         Active             -  Kernel
         Neo L             -  Kernel
All other users -  Kernel or even try the kernels for Arc S and Ray
    2) Go to C:/ Drive > flashtool > firmwares > delete everything present and put the downloaded kernel
    3)  Run Flashtool > click on the flashing icon ( left side below "file" option)
    Select flashmode > ok
Setup should be like this > select OK
    Flashtool Setup Screenshot
Follow the steps, connect your mobile and flash. Note: on devices with touch navigation keys, hold volume down key instead of back button while connecting your device.
Flashtool may show error after flashing kernel, no worries. Even your build number and android version won't change. Everything would remain same so please don't visit phone's settings to check anything
    4) After flashing restart your device, It may not start completely, may remain at Sony logo or with blank/black screen.
Whatever the status is, just restart your device and proceed with the rooting >
    Download Rooitng toolkit > 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 and extract it.
( Make sure you close flashtool before running the rooting toolkit )
Now  connect your mobile to PC ( Mobile should be ON)  and wait for 2 minutes. Then run the rooting toolkit. When it says all done, close it. disconnect your phone and switch it off ( By pressing power button/ or by taking out the battery and reinserting it).
    5) Download Kerenls, If you are on 4.1.b.0.431 rom then download the respective kernel, same goes for 4.1.B.0.587
For Neo L > Download the kernel version on which your phone is running 4.1.B.0.626 or  4.1.B.0.631
    Xperia
    4.1.B.0.431

    Mini Pro
    Kernel
    Kernel
Now flash the kernel ( same procedure as step 2 and 3 above )
Your mobile should now b rooted (See if any Superuser app has been installed on your phone ) and working fine again.
