Migration from Photoshop CC to Photoshop CC 2014 looses all settings?

Hi!
I installed Photoshop CC 2014, started it and agreed to migrate the Photoshop CC setting to Photoshop CC 2014.
But all my workbench settings are gone. And some of my performance settings also.
Please fix that. In my case, it's already too late, but perhaps it will help others.

The install of 2014 doesn't move or copy anything from a previous version, with the exception of settings. You can go into your Photoshop CC installation folder, navigate to your plugins folder and then just copy all the plugins you've installed from that folder and into the Photoshop CC 2014 plugins folder. The plugins should then be available in 2014 the next time you launch Photoshop.
The only thing that may prevent this from working is if you're using the 32bit version of Photoshop CC. Photoshop CC 2014 is 64bit only so 32bit plugins don't work. If this is the case for you, check out the manufacturer of the plugins and see if they have 64bit versions available.

How can I take the files that were migrated from my PC to my Mac and add all those files to my current user instead of having 2 users? Having to log out just to sign in on a different user to access the files is absurd.
Do I make all the files sharable to all the NOW users on the mac then just delete the files? Or can i erase my account that I made when starting up my new mac and then just use the one with the transferred files?
I just dont want to have to og in and out of 2 different accounts .. Help please.

Sorry. /Users is a folder path. It would be similar to C:\Users (if that exists on Windows).
So, in the Finder, select Computer from the Go menu.
You'll see Macintosh HD, double-click that to open it.
In there you'll see several folders. One is Users. That is where all the user Home folders exist. Select the other account's home folder and go to step 3.
If you have any more confusion, please stop and ask. We'll get there.
If you feel more comfortable, you can just log into that other account and move the files into /Users/Shared.
Then, log into the account you wish to use and copy the files from the Shared folder and paste them into your Home folder, wherever they belong, Documents, Music, Pictures, etc. That just takes a little more work. Transferring them into Shared, and then copying into your home sets the permissions on the files so that you won't have a problem accessing them later. The steps I provided just prevent you from having to do the double move, since you are not going to use the old account once you are done.
Quick unix shorthand. If someone gives you a file path that begins with a /, that means the root of the hard drive, ie Macintosh HD (if you haven't renamed it). The path separator in unix is /, not \.
A path that starts with ~/ means your Home folder, the one inside /Users named with your account name.

Based on my knowledge,
the Upgrade of the function level do not affect the trust relationship.
Besides, before you upgrade the Functional Level,
verify that all DCs in the domain are, at a minimum, at the OS version to which you will raise the functional level.
Once the Functional Level has been upgraded, new DCs on running on downlevel versions of Windows Server cannot be added to the domain or forest.

Having problems with aperture 3 on imac osx 10.7 and wish to install adobe photoshop elements 10, question will i loose all my liberary from aperture??

You'd only loose your Aperture libraries if you deleted them or damage them in some other way. The simple act of installing another app will not do this.
Of course you do realize that PS will not have any access to the Aperture libraries. If your originals are referenced then PS can get to them as it would to any file. If your originals are managed you will need to export them in order for PS to use them.
This all assumes you are abandoning Aperture for PS. If you are looking to do something else post back,

During my holidays I placed all my camera pictures while using the sd card reader adapter to my ipad mini. Now i'm back home and I want to transfer all the pictures to my mac. But i've already created albums on the the ipad and sorted all the pictures and placed them in the different albums. How can I transfer also these albums onto the mac?

I haven't used iTunes on my laptop in a while but I believe that if you authorize your computer it will allow you to transfer the pictures. Not 100% sure though.
How do I authorize a computer?
Open iTunes on the computer you want to authorize.
Choose Store > Authorize This Computer from the menu bar.
You might need to show the menu bar to see this option in Windows. In earlier versions of iTunes, you can access this option from the Advanced menu.
Enter your Apple ID and click Authorize.
If iTunes asks you to authorize your computer again, it won't use a new authorization. iTunes uses the same authorization for the same computer.

Trying to sync but getting told i have 2 itunes librarys and need to remove my iphone from 1 library but i will then loose all my pics,songs ect

i plug my iphone 4 into my laptop and try to sync but i just keep getting the message THIS IPHONE ALREADY HAS AN EXISTING ITUNES LIBRARY,REMOVE THIS IPHONE FROM THIS LIBRARY TO ACCESS PREVIOUS LIBRARY.
I have 905 songs on my phone and only 5 of them show on my itunes library so if i remove my iphone from 2nd account i will loose 900 songs right,but without doing so i can no longer sync my phone to laptop...

Partitioned iMac 27, HD2 set to be isolated from Internet, suddenly when HD2 is revived from sleep, it makes an Internet connection. All settings are the same, Network shows Ethernet is unplugged, but the indicator on modem shows connection. Why?

Original set up 4 years ago stated no Internet connection HD2, it was fine until now. What can I do about this? Thanks.

What I tried first was restoring all those files in that folder to a week before the problem, to no avail. When I was trying to find what was going on, I tested the coming out of sleep again with the Network window open. The light started flashing, for 4-5 seconds, and then the little Network window jumped visibly, and the connection light went off. Great, I thought, until I noticed that the iV4 had been switched from Off to DHCP, and I looked inside in Advanced, and it was the same there, when I had them both turned "off" for absolute certain. This is a pro assault, and so from now on I am just doing a manual disconnect for all time except when I need it on HD. Do you know of any app to disconnect from the Internet? Windows had one on my last computer, and that was very convenient. I am concerned that unplugging all the time will affect the socket, and that is a major problem to get that repaired. This is not a portable. Why? you say. Let me put it this way. There is no such thing as freedom of speech in Canada. Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).
You may also have to move the files in the sessionstore-backup folder to a safe location.

Any advice about migration from an 2009 to a new 2014 macmini using yosemite on both machines.
Apple does not provide guidence as they seem stuck in earlier os.

I have run it successfully for my applications, but my user pictures, music, and documents didn't come across.
It may be because I cancelled and restarted the migration several times so I wouldn't recommend doing that.

Report generation failed after migrated from 6i to 10g.

Hi All,
i have migrated the 6i application to 10g.
There was a report which was generated in .html format and saved to a remote server location.
Now after migration to 10g,when i run the report through the URL ,It is still generated on the same remote server location but the it is not showing in the application interface.

First of all direct upgrade is not possible from Oracle 8i to 11g.
What's your four digit of the Oracle 8i Database? indirect upgrade can be done as the foolowing version,
8.0.5 (or lower) -> 8.0.6 -> 9.2.0.8 -> 11.1
8.1.7 (or lower) -> 8.1.7.4 -> 9.2.0.8 -> 11.1

When login to the em to check, I found these 2 errors.

I have a few questions
1>When we are migrating from one environment to other environment what are all the objects we have to move.
2>If there are 100 reports migrated from one environment to other environment and again we did small changes for 2 reports and if we want to migrate that 2 reports which was the best way to migrate is it possible any by XML.
3>One subject area can consist more than one fact table...?
4>Is it possible join fact-fact table if yes in which type of scenarios we will go for that.

How do I migrate my plugins from Photoshop CC to Photoshop CC 2014? e.g. Nik plugins, Alien Skin etc ...

For a quick fix, I made an alias of the Plug-ins folder in Photoshop CC and dropped in in the Plug-ins folder for Photoshop CC 2014. Everything I have tested so far seems to be working. This includes Alien Skin, Nik Collection, Topaz Labs, MacPhun Software, DxO, and Perfect Photo Suite.
