Missing Class = "Monitor" from registry related to Desktop monitor

There is certain registry key named "Class" under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\DISPLAY\Default_Monitor\...\"  with value as "Monitor" is missing.
I need to get desktop monitor information via EDID on check for Class = "Monitor".
What is the reason for this missing registry key?

  • Missing Class error from handler class - urgent question!

    Hi,
    I am getting an "Missing Class" error when running a web service. The web service was generated from a Java class via the "create J2EE web service" option.
    The web service has a JAX-RPC handler class added, which belongs to the same package as a logging class. The logging class is used to write to a file for debug purposes. A "missing class" error is being generated whenever I attempt to invoke the web service (via the enterprise manager test util), the error refers to the logging class which is used by the main handler class. The JAX-RPC handler works fine by itself, the error is only seen when I attempt to use the logging class.
    I have re-built, re-deployed from scratch again, but still get the same error! Am I missing something simple here?
    thanks for any advice

    Hello,
    I have posted something similar, but I am not sure how to get over this issue. I am not sure if this is a code issue, I have scanned both EJB 2.0 and 2.1 specifications, but nothing caught my eye.

  • Missing class file from tools.jar file!

    I have been playing around with the code:
    import com.sun.tools.javac.v8.JavaCompiler;
    import com.sun.tools.javac.v8.util.Context;
    import com.sun.tools.javac.v8.util.List;
    public class Compiler {

    JavaCompiler compiler = new JavaCompiler(new Context());
    List list = new List();
    list = list.append("Hello.java");
    try {
    list = compiler.compile(list);
    } catch (Throwable t) {}
    I am running into a problem with the statements:
    import com.sun.tools.javac.v8.util.Context;
    JavaCompiler compiler = new JavaCompiler(new Context());
    The compiler tells me that Context does not exist. I checked the tools.jar file
    and sure enough Context did not exist! Can somebody point me in the right direction as to what I can do to fix this problem!
    Thanks

    Put the jar in your class path.

  • WTC, wls-api.jar, weblogic.wtc.gwt.*, missing classes ?!

    Hi WLS fans,
    I've installed WLS 10.3 and I've tried to migrate WLS 8.1 App to WLS 10.3 via Workshop.
    I was supprised NOT to find the classes: TuxedoConnection, TuxedoConnectionFactory and all the rest needed classes to compile the code, in the wls-api.jar, weblogic.wtc.gwt
    package .
    WLS-ARI.JAR,  weblogic.wtc.gwt package_ (in WL_HOME\server\lib)
    I've realized that till v. 9, the package contained these classes.
    Since v. 10, the pachage contains ONLY one class: genpasswd. And there are a lot of missing classes/interfaces from the weblogic.wtc.jatmipackage as well.
    Could somebody tell me where are the other needed classes ? Have they been moved to some other package ?
    Have the WTC EJB logic been modified ?
    I use this code:
    {color:#0000ff}import weblogic.wtc.gwt.*;
    import weblogic.wtc.jatmi.*;
    TuxedoConnection myTux;
    TypedString myData;
    Reply myRtn = myTux.tpcall("MyTuxService", myData, 0); {color}
    //etc.

    Hi, George.
    From weblogic 10 onwards, weblogic transitively includes jars in the BEA_HOME/modules directory. The jar you are looking for is:
    modules/com.bea.core.jatmi_1.0.1.0.jar

    1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
    OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
    Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
    Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
    Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
    Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
    How much free space on it now?

  • Missing class indicator field from database row

    Hi,
    I have following problem :
    There is a class inheritance with root interface and 4 subclasses, they are initialized with class indicator field. If I use ReadAllQuery with an interface or some of concrete class as search class - it is working perfect, but if I try to build query with custom selected fields (addPartialAttribute) I always get an error - Missing class indicator field from database row.
    AFAIK This field have not to be mapped in Workbench to real table column, how can I tell TopLink that I will read this indicator field too by reading some custom fields ? I thought TopLink reads such fields automatically, like it does it with primary keys.
    Thank you
    Maksim

    This sounds like an issue with our partial attribute queries and inheritance as the type indicator column must always be read. Can you map the type indicator to a read-only attribute (mark mapping as read-only) and include this in your list of attributes as a work-around?

  • How to get missing classes from J2SE to J2ME?

    Hello,
    I am currently developing a J2ME project. As IDE I use Eclipse with the plugin EclipseME. It works great.
    Now I have the following problem: I need some classes which are present in J2ME (e.g. sorting of Strings, date functions). So I downloaded the source code for the JDK. Now I want to compile the missing classes (the ones that are not in the libs coming with the WTK) from JDK source into my project, so I can use these functions which are missing in standard J2ME. Importing the whole JDK tree is problematic, because then all classes will be compiled from source. This will cause errors with the JVM on the target device.
    Is there a possibility to import the JDK sources and only let compile the classes that are missing in J2ME libs? What is the best way to do this? Or do I have to add the source of each class (and it's dependencies) i need manually? Can I in this case use the original tree of packages and classes (e.g. java.util.ClassName) or do I have to create and new subtree (project.ClassName) in my project and import from there?
    Greetz
    schneidexe

    Generally, this is not possible. The classes have far to many references to other classes, and there are far to many incompatibilities to make it work.
    Best solution is to make your own J2me substitution, or find some j2me api that already does what you want.

  • Missing classes from servicegen client jar

    If you generate the WSDL, stubs, etc from an EJB jar, not all the required classes
    are copied to the service_client.jar.
    If your EJB method takes a class (say HomeAddressDTO) and that class inherits from
    a base-class, AddressDTO, then the AddressDTO is not included in the client jar.
    Regards,
    Nick

    if you want to use the same classes on both client and server side
    pls set useservertypes=true in the client element of servicegen.
    It seems wls 7.0ga is not adding base classes for value types to
    the client.jar file. I have filed a CR on this bug. Hope this will be
    fixed for sp1.
    Anyway, it is ok to add more classes to the client.jar manually.
    You may have to do it when reflection cannot find all the required
    classes or if you want to add your client app specific classes.

    I have the same problem. Do you think it is a bug? AFAIK, the processlooks
    like this: value objects --> WSDL --> client-side stubs for value objects,
    that actually do not have much in common with original ones. As I
    understand, it is possible either to copy manually created value objectsto
    client JAR file (no portability to non-Java clients), or to generate these
    stubs from WSDL. There is a parameter for clientgen task which changes the
    default behaviour. In my case all the parent classes in my value object
    hierarchy are not "mirrored" in client JAR. I think that this is correct,
    because client stubs do not have any hierarchy in them, they are just flat
    structures.
    I added needed classes to client JAR manually, but I think that this is my
    personal design error that I need these classes.
    What do you think?
    Michael.

  • Problems running servlet due to missing classes?

    Hi everyone,
    I am doing a project which requires me to convert a java coding into a servlet. This java coding I am working on is some kind of location based service which tracks people (receiving an argument of a string as IP). It imports an external SDK called Ekahau SDK (some off the shelve product). Now I wish to convert it into a servlet so that the function that the java coding performs can be run from a webpage i created.
    I have previously posted a thread on this forum called "Converting java coding into servlets?" when I had trouble compiling the servlet. Now that I could compile the servlet already, I still have problems running the servlet from my browser.
    The webserver I am using is Apache Tomcat. Previously I was trying Apache HTTP server but since now I need to use servlet, I have shifted to Tomcat instead. I have been getting these "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:" when running the servlet from the browser. From the previous thread, I got suggestions from the replies saying that I need to put the jar files I need into my "C:\Tomcat\webapps\try\WEB-INF\lib" directory. I have been looking for the missing jar files from the internet and putting them into my "C:\Tomcat\webapps\try\WEB-INF\lib", but each time after adding a new jar file, I get another new "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:". Are the missing jar files really the problems? Cause it seems a bit weird to me that I need some many jar files which I dont even know why I need them for.
    The HTTP status 500 error look like this:

    Well, it's kind of logical that as you put more jar files (classes) in Tomcat, it changes the error to ask for the classes (inside a jar) it cannot find.
    There was a good class->jar finder on the internet some years ago, but i don't remember the address. Try looking for that and search all the missing classes (NotDefined) and their correspondig jar files.
    Good Luck!
