Try to check the vendor which you developed in table LFA1, LFB1 in tcode se16...
If it exists there then it will be available while making the external procurements...
If its not getting save there, then pls contact ABAP consultant to into the matter...

In SPRO, go to:
>Logistics-General
->Business Partner
-->Vendors
--->Control
>Adoption of Cusomter's Own Master Data Fields
and read the documentation provided there.
You will need to implement following BAPIs
Processing Master Data Enhancements: VENDOR_ADD_DATA
Customer Subscreens: VENDOR_ADD_DATA_CS
I am not aware of any other way to add new fields to Vendor master (however, check with your consultant for config related screen modifications)
Should you need any further info to implement it, post back (read it thoroughly first, it's quite self-explanatory).

Reg the Sort Key field in Vendor Master Record
Hi MM Gurus,
I have the requirement of displaying the Purchase Order number & Line Item number in the Accounting document of the Goods Receipt. i.e., in the "Assignment" field.
I have made the necessary configuration in FS00 for the specific GL account & also specified 014 code in the corresponding Vendor master record.
However, once I post the GR document, and checked the "Assignment" field, it displays only the Purchase Order number and not the Line item number.
Kindly help me on this.

For one user the CIN details is not come when create vendor in vendor master XK01. what is the problem.
I used Tc OMT3E,this code is directly access the configuration,but I think there is another one way to bring the CIN Detials in vendor master. Pls help me.

Goto
SPRO -> Logistics General -> Tax on Goods movement -> India -> Master Data -> Assign Users to Material Master Screen Sequence for Excise Duty
1. Double-click User Screen Reference.
2. Assign all users who need to see the excise duty information to the screen reference in the Vendor Master.
In the creation mode or change mode you can find the CIN Details icon in the header screen

But there are 5 account groups for my business where the vendor customizations are done. So the screen flow is getting changed. So how can i handle this scenario . First identify what are the fields available and those not avaliable in the screens for each of the 5 account groups you use. After you identify them, in the BDC you can control whether the field should be updated or not based on the checks on account group

I am uploading vendor master data using bdc call transaction method for XK01. In that i am getting an error message that the fields " smtp_addr" ( for email) and "time_zone" (for time zone) doesnot exist on the screen '0110' ( this is the second screen) . the field timezone will be displayed on the screen only when we go for communications button and select the URL field .
Do anybody have the solution for this problem. if possible can you give me the code for that screen.Create a recording via SM35 (menu go to=>recording), this will generate automatically the code for filling your bdcdata-table...

Creating Vendor Accounts from HR Master Record
Use
In the Travel Management application component, which is assigned to Financial Accounting (FI), personnel numbers are used to pay business trip costs into vendor accounts. To pay business trip costs, you require an appropriate vendor account in FI.
HR master data must be replicated in the FI system using ALE. The Create Vendor Accounts from HR Master Record interface enables you to transfer HR master data to the FI system. After the data has been transferred, a program runs in the FI system that uses the HR data to create the appropriate vendor accounts. Once these vendor accounts have been created, the FI system can pay the trip costs.
Integration
The Create Vendor Accounts from HR Master Record interface is supported by ALE. You must replicate the following infotypes:
● 0000 Actions
● 0001 Organizational Assignment
● 0002 Personal Data
● 0003 Payroll Status
● 0006 Addresses
● 0009 Bank Details
● 0017 Travel Privileges

You can create one vendor master record for each employee, and enter each employees personnel number in its vendor master record.

You can create a single vendor master record for all employees, and leave the personnel number field in the master record blank.
Then, when you make a cash disbursement to an employee, you can enter the vendor account number and the employees personnel number.

We are merging with two other companies. The two companies are going to shift to SAP. We requested some mock up data for them to setup our master records. I was asked to setup vendor master record. Can some guide me of the most important looks I should be looking/asking for them to determine if I have all the information that is required to create a vendor master record. Assume you would like to create 2 VMR's for 2 company codes.
In my opinion, check the master data fields one by one, and maintain uniformity in the basic mandatory fields.
Recon account could also be same, payment terms could be similar, and so on.
In any case, there would be clash or overlapping of any transactions, as both the vendors belong to seperate company codes.

Some one deleted withholding tax code line in Vendor Master and added one new tax code.
I checked in T.Code-XK04 but all changes are not displaying.
Can you have any t.code or table or Program where I will find all change detail of Vendor Master.

SE11 - Table name -- Button called 'Technical settings'
bottom check box called ' Log data changes'
If above check box is not ticked then it will not store the data.

The field clerk'internet in correspondence in vendor master data will be used for communication with the vendor side. the concerned person' mail id ,in vendor company , who is responsible for dealing with the customerwill be filled in that field.

For blocking a vendor manually XK05 is used .
Moreover creation and maintainance of vendor master should be maintained by the power user and inturn will be controlled by the auth process.
Im not sure whether SAP provides option for the automatic blocking of the vendor if its master data is changed .

The IDOC has three parts, the header (Content, structure,sender,receiver and status) Data segment (Segment number and field of 1000 character), status records.
Modifications to IDOC can be done by the ABAPer by changing the logic in the program. Please discuss with the tech team / change / test .
