  • How to use Satellite M500-ST5401 for mobil calls using Bluetooth

    Team,
    I would like to know more details about bluetooth connectivity of a laptop to the bluetooth compatible mobile phones.My Model is Toshiba Satellite M500-ST5401.
    What i like to get to know is,I am having a mobile phone Sony Ericsson and it has bluetooth with A2DP feature.
    Normally if we have a bluetooth stereo headset
    mobile can be paired and listen to the music using the bluetooth headset for the music which is playing on the mobile phone.
    Likewise what i feel whenever i receive the call on my phone ,i would like to transfer the call to my laptop where i would like to use laptop speaker to listen to the incoming voice and the laptop Mic to respond the call in laptop and then it will be taken care by mobile phones.
    Please let me know if this is possible,i just want to keep the phone away from my hand and wanted to manage incoming and outgoing calls just sitting infront of the computer using Inbuilt bluetooth technology available in both laptop and mobile devices.
    Please recommend me what are all the software and hardware driver to be installed for achieving this.
    Your reply is very much appreciated thanks in advance.

    Is there a way to make a video call from my iPhone 4 to a non apple phone? Also is it possible to transfer pics using bluetooth from iPhone to other company mobiles? Its a great phone but sometimes I feel struck inside it.

    You'd need an app like Skype to video call with other phones.
    Data transfer is not supported via bluetooth and iphone to iphone is not supported at all.

  • Mobile video streaming using bluetooth

    hi to all!!
    im current ly workin on my project regarding video streaming using bletooth in mobile phones.
    the mobile phones are both the server and the client.
    my question is this:
    Is it possible to stream videos using bluetooth?
    and could you please give references regarding this matter??
    many thanks!

    This is possible
    because you will get streams for both data in and out...
    but the problem is that the j2me player is not always streaming supported.
    Since your server is mobile for streaming you have to implement a streaming server on ur server mobile.
    but you can play the whole video chunk by chunk... in many fashion...

  • Data transfering between a mobile and  F2M03GLA device using bluetooth

    I am using F2M03GLA (which is a low power embedded Bluetooth v2.0+EDR module with built in high out put antenna).
    I want to send and receive data from mobile to this device using bluetooth . I want to know wheather the data transfering from a mobile to F2M03GLA device is same as data transfering between a mobile to mobile. If there is any difference can u please specify me those differences.

    Have you looked at the peer to peer stuff from Adobe? That might solve the data transfer without needing to stand up your own server.

    What printer are you using?
    How are you connecting it to the computer?
    HP designed a quick and easy tool that diagnoses and resolves many printing, scanning, and connectivity problems: The HP Print and Scan Doctor. HP recommends that you download and install the Print and Scan Doctor any time you need to troubleshoot a problem with your HP printer from the link below.

  • How do I print from an Android device using bluetooth?

    You had purchased the Officejet Mobile 100 printer to print from your Android device using bluetooth.
    You have the devices paired with bluetooth, but do not see an option to print or the print button does not work in this case.
    Well, here is how this can be accomplished in Android.
    For this example, I will use the steps to print a photo.
    1.  Pair the devices.
    2.  Open a photo you want to print.
    3.  Select the share option (may say send using depending on the version of Android).
    4.  Select Bluetooth.
    5.  Select the printer from the list of devices.
    6.  The file will be sent to the printer.  You can check the notification area at the top to see how the progress is going.  It may take a few minutes for the sending to finish.
    7.  It should then print the photo.
    HP Bluetooth printers natively support the printing of photos only, but a third party app can be used to print documents and other items.

    Hope this information is useful.
    I know there have been many instances of users that have not been able to print through bluetooth from an Android device.

    Iam using Nokia E5.

    "failed to connect to network.the modem is in use by another application ormay not be configured properly"
    please advise how to over come this.

    Same problem here with E72...well in 75% of cases, sometimes it connect easily, which make me believe the settings are correct.
    Any news here? Does the problem lie with the computer or with the phone? Sometimes, but usually not, restarting one or both device helps.
    Thanks,

    Hello shreejith786
    The iPhone does not transfer music and videos via Bluetooth. To move content from one iPhone to another, you will need iTunes or iCloud handle that. If you have purchased content from the iTunes Store, you can download them directly. The articles below will assist with getting your media to your other iPhone.

  • Symbian bluetooth working, windows mobile 5.0 bluetooth not working?

    Hi guys,
    I am running an application on my Nokia 6680 mobile phone (symbian series 60), and I am able to recieve a bluetooth connection using a hard coded address of the bluetooth device. The bluetooth device I connect to is a GPS device, HOLOX BT-321. All working fine!
    Problem occurs when I use the same application on an XDA Exec from O2 (also called i-mate Jasjar and M5000), the application does not connect to the bluetooth gps device, it pairs with it but when I run the application it doesnt communicate with the gps reciever, i.e the bluetooth light doesnt flash on the gps reciever to show a connection.
    Why does it work on one and not the other? Both Nokia 6680 and XDA Exec uses bluetooth v1.2 as does the gps device. Both support J2ME and CLDC 1.1 with MIDP 2.0! So why doesnt it work? Any ideas??
    The code i use is on the folowing website...
    http://www.hcilab.org/documents/tutorials/BT_GPS/BT_GPS.htm
    As I said you have to hard code the gps device your connecting to. It works on the Nokia 6680 fine!
    Thanks...

    The quality of Windows mobile java is very poor.
    Very recently some features doesn't work on core level.

  • Excel transfer using bluetooth

    hi,
    i need to send excel file from smart phone to labview using bluetooth. once the file received, it need to be analyze. i have no idea on how to send the excel file using bluetooth in excel. can anyone help?

    Hi Varsha88,
    I would suggest you to check out this link which explains how we can develop bluetooth applications with LabVIEW.
    http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3260/en/#toc2
    Maybe you can refer to the link below which teach us how to interface LabVIEW with smart phones via Bluetooth.
    http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/How-to-interface-Labview-with-smart-phones-android-via-Bluetooth/td-...
    Generally for setting up a bluetooth connection is making sure that we can detect and acquire the appropriate bluetooth adrress for your device from your LabVIEW.So you need to be able to configure your device address in Android OS settings.To get started, you may refer to the link https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-7981,, try making use of the Bluetooth Discovery LabVIEW to detect your devices within range.
    Besides that, you may refer to this article which teach us how to make a bluetooth device work with LabVIEW.

  • Garmin Mobile 10 GPS (Bluetooth)

    Hi all,
    I'm looking to get a GPS to go with my Palm TX PDA. The Garmin web site recommends the Garmin Mobile 10. It uses bluetooth pairing to communicate between devices. It seems that as of May, Garmin has beta software for the Mac.
    I will be getting MBR in October after Leopard comes out. Has anyone used this GPS with their MacBook Pro?
    What GPS would you recommend? I'd like the device to work with both a MBP and a Palm TX.
    Thanks,
    Steven

    Since no one here has Leopard, nor knows Leopard's finalized driver status, any advice we give you on a future purchase for post-Leopard release would be futile, as drivers can change, and the you are referring to may take more time to get updated, if at all. It is called vaporware. People here can tell you what currently works, but you are putting too great an imposition on anyone who offers you help here, as you have already stated that you are waiting till after Leopard's release and for the machine to include Leopard. Historically Macs can only run the operating system that comes with them, is available at the time that they are released as new, up to operating systems which overtax their hardware. Unless Apple's past behavior as far as operating system compatibility changes the advice may be faulty. If you want to get a currently available MacBook Pro you can check this user tip for various GPS solutions already available for the Mac, and look for those that have Universal compatible drivers:
    http://discussions.apple.com/click.jspa?searchID=-1&messageID=607273
    If you want to learn how to make the most of Tiger to be as closed to what features are advertised for Leopard, tell us which features matter to you most, and we can help you find what is currently available.
    Terms of Use forbid us from speculating about unreleased products.
    Thus that's another imposition you give to the poster. Even though it may work now, that is no guarantee it will work on a future operating system that hasn't been released. Everything that is known about Leopard is on this page:

I have tried my program in emulator WTK2.2, it's working like what I want..but there's a problem when I'm trying in N7610,N3230,N6233..it said that "there's no services" when client program try to find services from server program
    ServiceRecord[] listService=null;
    listService=new ServiceRecord[records.size()];
    for(int i=0;i<records.size();i++)

                            if(n==-1)
                              {throw new IOException("Tidak dapat membaca data movie");}
    length+=n;
    inputStream.close();

    catch(Exception e)
    {System.err.println("Error: wrong image data from:"+url);
                      continue;

  • Using bluetooth printer with Iphone4 IOS5.

    Is it possible to connect to e.g. Canon Selphy 780/800 from the iphone?
    I'm doing a lot of scrapbooking and want to be able to print when I am travelling to update some of the projects I do. I have seen both the popo printer and the Canon Selphy printers which  both uses bluetooth from mobile phones.....but does anyone know whether it will work from my Iphone?

    not out of the box
    to print one require a printer driver bluetooth is just a means to connect with
    ios dont support 3th party driver
    ios support a generic driver called airprint this is wifi no bluetooth and if printer makers follow that std they printers can be printed to from ios
    many printer makers make their own printing apps and put them in app store for free look for a printer app from canon in app store to see if your printer is supported
