Modes in ALV

Question

Hi Experts,
I got the requirement of Creating a New column next to G/L account number as G/L account Description .
I created it with the logic of
CLASS LCL_EVENT_RECEIVER1 DEFINITION.
  PUBLIC SECTION.
    METHODS:
    HANDLE_DATA_CHANGED
    FOR EVENT DATA_CHANGED OF CL_GUI_ALV_GRID
    IMPORTING ER_DATA_CHANGED.

DATA: G_EVENT_RECEIVER1 TYPE REF TO LCL_EVENT_RECEIVER1.

when I test this by giving G/L account number , its description populated automatically using the MODE "I" and I saved it,
Now the problem is , when I enter the Record number and the Mode as P the display is showing only G/L account.. Not its description...
In the Image 1, the saved data is showed and saved using record number and the Mode "I" . But when I check in Mode "P", it is showing only G/L account number .. not its description.. in Image-2
As I think, the code needs to b trigerred in the PBO of the coding screen... what will be the logic ?
Kindly help me out...

leave screen.
will take you back to the selection screen.
