Modify the content of a table inside function module

if line_bill-cust_no = line_cust-cust_no.
    line_cust-tot_amt = line_cust-tot_amt + line_bill-bill_amt.
    MODIFY it_cust1 FROM line_cust transporting tot_amt WHERE cust_no = line_bill-cust_no.
inside the function module in se 37 i am getting an error .
The specified type has no structure and therefore no component called tot_amt....
actually if im running this code inside the se38 editor its running fine . but i want to do this inside a function module. when i tried to do this im getting the above error

i have declared the tables in the changing tab.. my problem is , how to access the line of the table inside the function module .
for ex:
loop at itab into wa where field1 = 'field2'.
i have declared the wa in the function module but still it gives the error that field1 is not recognisable...
how to resolve this...

Hi Shabeer,
We don't require a function module to download ddic table content to an internal table. We can use the SELECT statement for the same. Example would be:-
DATA: <INTERNAL TABLE> type table of <DATABASE>.
SELECT * FROM <DATABASE> into corresponding fields of <INTERNAL TABLE>.
Also, function module might be required when you need the data from a remote system, but then it is the developer's task create this function module and the function module should be remote enabled function module.
This remote enable function module should have the above SELECT query as its code.

How to Delete the Content of a Table?

Hi,
Please, i need to modify the content of a table, but before i want to delete this content. See follow the code that is used actually:
DELETE (pr_name_table).
MODIFY (pr_name_table) FROM TABLE prt_table.
MESSAGE s000(zbrx) WITH text-i02 pr_name_table.
The ABAP Editor don't accept the expression "DELETE (pr_name_table).".
How to delete this content???

Table for Function modules - Changed date & Changed by.

Hi Experts,
Help me to get Function module changed date & changed by.
For programs we can get the mentained information in TABLE : TADIR.

Function Modules change history can be retrieved from table TRDIR.
Function Module stores a program Include in table TRDIR.
The details of the Function Module can be found in Attributes-->general data tab in the Function Module.
You need to pass the Include which correponds the FM.
Hence you can find the Log changes.

Build table function has an additional input called 'Reset'
Attach a boolean to it.

I want to modify the contents in a HTML page. This page is dynamically generated from some JSP. First of all, is it possible to modify the content in a HTML page that was generated at run time. If so, Pls. give me an example of the same.

Here's an example:
You have a JSP page that has a form tag called myForm.
You have a textfield named 'textField1' in the form.
You have a button on the form with an onClick event, in the javascript
function that is called for the onClick, you can change
the contents of the textfield by writing something like this:
document.myForm.textField1.value="new contents";

Normally the tables r in the form of clustertables if u want to see there is no special tcode for this go to the SE11 or SE16 give the table name as below
if the datasource is 2lis_11_vahdr after filling setup tables for this datasource9for this application component)MC11va0hdrsetupin se11 in table u give that bold one and execute it u can see the setup tables.

Hi Michela,
since the VI you want to modify is part of a Toolkit, I suggest you to copy the whole block diagram in a new VI and then save it in a new location.
Place the DB List Tables.vi on a block diagram, double click on it and go to the tab "Window -> Show Block Diagram "
Select "Edit -> Select All" to select the whole block diagram and select "Edit -> Copy"
Open a new VI and select "Edit -> Paste"
Save the new VI
In this way you can modify everything you want without overwriting the Toolkits VIs.

If there is a problem with defining it globaly, you can define a field symbol globably and point to it. For example. It would probably be better to define your table globably.

What exactly do you want to modify. The Desktop inner page consists of your detailed navigation and the <b>Content Area</b> iview. The content area iview renders all the iviews, pages and whatever you add to your roles.
So do you want to change the layout of this section or something else?

Try this FUNCTION_INCLUDE_INFO to get the include number to which function module belongs to.From this u ll get only the particular include name.
or
if u need the all the includes used in the function group u have use INNER JOIN on TFDIR and D010INC table

Is there a way to modify the content type in the Weblogic server.
Basically what I want to do is, make IE6 to IE8 compatible for CSS3. I read somewhere that ".htaccess" file should be modified to make it work. I would like to add the below line...
AddType text/x-component .htc
So, where do I add this ?? Can some1 guide me as I dont know how to play around with WLS. I dont even know if there is such setting in WLS.

Tom and I exchanged several emails on this topic. It would appear that the problem (mail setting the content-type to ISO-2022-JP) is caused when certain characters in the quoted text of a reply are encoded; mail decides it needs to specify ISO-2022-JP. Characters identified as causing the problem are smart quotes and apostrophes.
