Module pool programming in ECC 6.0 version
Hi All,
Any one can help me how to work on module pool progrmming in 6.0 version,it was completely different to 4.7 version, plz send me some documentation regarding the module pool programming to my mail-id [email protected]

The difference you see might be because you are using the alphanumerical screen painter in 4.7 where the default in ECC is the graphical screen painter. Both are available in 4.7 and ECC.
To switch back to the alphanumerical in ECC6, just do:
- SE80
- menu Utilities
- Settings
- tabstrip Screen Painter
- remove the flag for graphical layout editor
This will start the alphanumerical instead of the graphical one
However the graphical one is much easier to use so you might want to look into using that one instead of the (old) alphanumerical one.

i am working on ecc 6.0.
i tried to create a modulepool program but not able to do as the screen has changed completely in the layout editor.
its not the same we see in 4.7 version. can some one suggest me how to create screens in ecc 6.0.

Select-options in module pool programming
hi,
I need to have four fields as part of my layout that are select-options fields with multiple values entry options. Since layout doesnt have 'select-options" functionality, i defined it from the module pool program, ie: I wrote a selection screen in the PBO module. The problem is if i make any changes to the code, the layout changes back to the previuos format.
Is there any way in which i can combine selection-screen logic with my layout.

Selection Screen Version
Only for Executable Programs
If you do not specify a selection screen version, the system automatically creates a selection screen based on the selection criteria of the logical database and the parameters and select-options statements in the program.
If you want to use a different selection screen of the logical database, enter a number in this field. The number must be smaller than 1000 and correspond to an additional selection screen of the logical database. The possible values help displays a list of available selection screens. You can also look in the selection include of the logical database (program DBxxxSEL, where xxx is the name of the logical database).

1. In the top include define the selection screen with
selection-screen begin of screen 9250 as subscreen.

2. Using the screen painter create a subscreen area in
the main screen where you want to have this.
3. Then, in the screen flow logic code as follows:
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
MODULE STATUS_1000. etc
call subscreen SUB1 including 'PROGRAM NAME' '9250'.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
module exit at exit-command. etc.
call subscreen SUB1.

can anybody tell me how to download a <b>whole module pool program</b> into my desktop with .sap extension???
Actually i want to download a whole module pool program from a server so that i can upload the same program into another sap server instead of writing the whole code.

Checkbox issue in module pool program
Hi all,
I have a small issue in a module pool program using checkboxes. The requirement is that my basic list should contain the data with checkboxes and as per the selection by the user, the selected records should appear in the next screen (secondary list). But after selection, all the records barring the last record is appearing in my secondary list. Below are the screenshots of my program:

Now on executing the program,
As you can see, sales orders 4970,4972,4974 and 4975 are selected. So after clicking NEXT, in the secondary list , the data for these selected sales orders from VBAP table should come up. But instead, the records from 4970, 4972 and 4974 are displayed except the last sales order which is 4975.
This is happening for all the records. The last selected sales order is not getting selected. Why is it so?

I have modified the code but there are still a couple of things which are confusing me. In the below screenshot you can see the modified version of the code:
Now to see what is going wrong, I tried to debug the code. I placed the breakpoint on 'NEXT' as shown. Then I selected the following sales orders and pressed NEXT.
In the debugger, IT_VBAK1 correctly holds the 2 selected values:
IT_VBAP displays the values correctly as well.
Now, this is where the issue is. On clicking the BACK button and selecting another sales order (4974):
IT_VBAK1 holds the additional sales order 4974 along with the previous ones as well:
IT_VBAP also displays the values accordingly as per the debugger:
But in the table control, the sales order 4974 is not displayed. Only the initial sales orders are displayed.
1) There is nothing wrong with the code as the debugger shows the records are held and displayed correctly by the internal tables. So what could be the reason for the data not to be displayed correctly in the table control? I also tried refreshing IT_VBAP after the BACK button, but still it isnt working.
2) Also, another thing I've seen that is after clicking the BACK button, when I select the sales orders, only data from 2 sales orders are displayed in the secondary list.
For example, if I select any number of sales orders and press NEXT, then all the data are displayed correctly in the secondary list. Once I click the BACK button and deselect all of them and then I checkbox 3 sales orders (more than 2), then only the records for 2 sales orders are displayed, not the 3rd one. Why is this happening?

How to call a "Z"module pool program in a "z"report

I have two reports .
1. Report : uploads a tab delimited " .Txt1" file and update the "z1" table

2. Module pool. :Uploads a a tab delimited " .Txt2" file and update another "z2" table

I had a requirement where I need to call a report from the module pool program where in when we click REPORT button, it should display the report output in the another screen.
Can we do by calling screen after pushing REPORT button. If so, where we should write that code ( In pbo or pai). Please give me an idea.

How to make a fld mandatory in module pool program?
I need help on following 2 things
I have module pool program created, in that many screen subscreens created.
1.I want to make a field mandatory
second one is, I have a general tab and data tab.
General tab screen - 2101
Data tab = 2102
In general tab, I have edited the values (change mode), when change the values and try to save it,
It is holding old value.but If i exucute the transaction once again, it is showing the changed value(new value)
For ex: there is a date field value is 03/08/2009
If I change this to 03/09/2009 and press on Save button from the standard menu, still it is showing the value 03/08/2009. but I execute this transaction once again it is showing the value as 03/09/2009

Go to the properties of the filed select program tab and say input required.
then you will get the problem solved.
For second one actually its saving but not displaying the saved value at the same time ,
for this you write the select statement after saving , so that once save is execute m, select statement also will execute and it will display the newly saved value.
so after saving imdeatly u write the select statement.
