Money Management Download Suggestions??

I wanted to see if anyone had any comments or suggestions about some of the money management software downloads from Apple and which ones are better or worse? I've been using Microsoft Money with my PC before I switched and I would love to find a program that is similar to it, if possible.

The author states that there are no financial apps. that compare to Microsoft Money.
You don't give specs on your Mac, but if it is an Intel you can run that PC app. using Parrellels Desktop
or VM Vusion Ware.

I think the usual advice is to use the Rebuild command in Library Manager.

Please help!! Making a `Money Manager` application!!

Hey, im trying to make a simple money manager in Netbeans whereby the user enters two types of data, 'Income' and 'Expendature', incomes would include part time job, student loans, pocket money, expendature items would be money paid out for rent, food books and entertainment.
I would like the money manager to be able to show the user the total income and total expendature for the current month, showing the amount left in the 'bank', it would also be cool if it could show income and expendature for previous months where it has been enterd.
If anyone could give me any suggestions or have done something like this previously I would be really greatful if you could help out

Best money management software for MAC

I am a new user. What is the best software for the MAc for Money Management? I use to use Microsoft Money 2006.
I want to be able to link with my Iphone.

I have just sucsessfully installed MS Money on a MacBook Pro using Parallels and MS Windows 8.1.
So far it seems to be working just fine except bank account downloads don't automatically appear when Money starts. You have to do a file import from the downloads.

I switched form droid to iphone yesterday. I used and loved Easy Money on my droid ofr 1.5 yrs. Before the switch, I saved all my data in an excel csv file on my pc. I am searching for a similar, simple money management app that will allow me to import my past data. Thanks

Yes, I've already downloaded 3 - Visual Budget, moneystrands, and Pocket Money (lite - free version for now). I don't like moneystrands. Visual Budget is just ok, but I can't find any way to upload my data. Pocket Money is closest to what I'm looking for, but only imports QIF files...

Money management programmes

Not sure if this is the correct forum, but I am looking for some money management software that would allow me to keep track of bank accounts/credit cards etc etc. Is such a thing available within OS X (10.3 version)? I also have a copy of Microsoft Word for Mac (student edition). Many thanks

Apparently Money is not available in a Mac version, at least not a current version, but, can obviously be run on the Mac with Virtual PC, which you might want to avoid.
I don't know how complex a package you want, but Checkbook for Mac seems to be a simpler and less expensive package and can be downloaded for a free trial.

Adobe application manager - download error. please contact customer support

trying to download cc apps to my laptop (my second computer) - mac os 10.8.3 - safari browser (failed w/ firefox too)
been having this issue for a couple months... want to clear it up befor the new cc releases
so I just uninstalled and removed all adobe apps from my computer - including the adobe application manager
restarted my computer (shut down my desktop) - downloaded the 'new' adobe application manager
tried to log in and got the following error (same error I have been getting for months)

I renamed the OOBE folder to OOBE_old
but I cannot find the opm.db file -
I do not seem to have a library in my user h2oonstone folder...
I did search the HD for the opm.db file - says nothing found

Not other than parental oversight. On the computer you can implement Parental Controls on a separate user account that they would use. You can then block certain websites. But you cannot do that on the iPad.
You could change your iTunes account such that they cannot access it in order to buy or download apps.

I have recently subscribed to this creative cloud and have been trying to download some of the applications. However, I get as far as the Application Manager download and it gets nearly half way through according to the download bar and then tells me that there is a problem with the remote server responding in the proper manner, I have tried several times, at different times of the day since I subscribed last Friday.
Does anybody have any ideas?

If this is still a problem for you, please describe the issue you're experiencing. @AdamsonB - Glad to hear the workaround worked.
A fix is in progress, but it is on the server side so clearing your local cache will not fix it. When fixed the urls on the Creative Cloud Apps page https://creative.adobe.com should start with http://ccmdl.adobe.com instead of https://ffc-crawler.oobesaas.adobe.com. This is only if you do not have the Adobe Application Manager already installed in which case you should see links like aam://SAPCode=PHSP.

Looking for a Personal Finance, Money Management program that works smoothly with Mac OS 10.9.4

I’m looking for something to break down my spending into categories and merchants so I can track where I’m spending and better control it. Checked out Quicken first, but looks like Intuit is giving up on Mac integration. Can someone experienced in Mac and Financial Programs recommend one for personal finance and money management that works well with Mac? OSX 10.9.4. And, I’m an English major. Numbers and spending are my Achilles wallet.

I like Quicken personally. There is a new version in the works.
