More than 20 columns in keynote table

I am trying to create a table in Keynote for a scientific poster. I need 21 columns, but Keynote 2.02 doesn't seem to want to let me do more than 20. Because the final product will be huge (36" x 84" or so), creating a second table of 1 column and bumping it up next to the first looks awful.
What am I doing wrong? How do I add more columns?
Thanks!

Welcome to the discussions, Zali.
I don't have Keynote 2 on me right now, but Keynote 3 has a setting that allows you to specify a header row and header column. Once you click this, you do end up with 21 columns, you just change the fill to what you need it to be.
But, yeah, the limitation is in Keynote 3 as well.

  • Not able to view more than two line in table control

    Hi all,
I am not able to see more than two lines in table control. Although my table control height is 21...
Please see attached pic and suggest me what to do.

    hi,
You have to set the LINES property of the table control In the PBO of your screen, to the number of entries in the internal table.
    data: lv_line type i.
    DESCRIBE TABLE  gt_table LINES lv_line.
    table_control-lines = lv_line + 1.
    or else
You can do two thing in table control properties check horizontal and vertical scroll options plus in PBO you can based on number of lines in internal table assign it to TC_ABC-LINES if no lines are there then add by default 20..10.. any number of lines as you want.

    Mary

    Hi Mary,
Do you mean you need to return more than 3? If so then in the link area change the Target to URL and do something like the following:
f?p=&APP_ID.:7:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.::P7_UNIQUE_ROWID,P7_OET_TBL_NM:#UNIQUE_ROWID#,#OET_TBL_NM#Items on left separated by commas, values on right separated by commas and a colon (:) in the middle...make sure the items & values are placed in the same order.

  • Union of more than 2 fragments/Logical Table Sources in BMM Layer

    Hi,
I have come across many blogs which explain how to union two fragments/physical tables in a logical table source.
    Currently, i have a requirement where i have to combine/union 4 fragments/physical tables in a logical table source, say T1, T2, T3, T4 dimension tables.
All have the same table structure, but differ in data.
The requirement is to define dashboard prompt on the union of these tables and populate the values from all the tables.
I am able to union two of the tables using a '>' and a '<' condition on a key column.
But, am not able to union the other two tables.
If i try to put more than 2 LTS, then the union fails.
    Please share your thoughts.
    thanks,
    Varun

    Hi Varun,
What do you mean by the Union fails?
You can have a logical table source in your business layer with 4 different tables as a source.
Import the tables in the physical layer and create your joins.
Then create a logical table in the Business layer and go in the table properties you will see that you can add as much tables as you want into the source (Map to these tables).there you can add all of your 4 tables and specify what type of join you want to have between them (inner, outer...)

  • Saving to more than one MS SQL table?

I am trying to figure out if I can save to more than one
    table at a time
    using standard dreamweaver tools
Would it be possible to create a view that combines two
    tables in MSSQL and
save to that view? Does this makes sense?
If this isn't possible, which I suspect it's not, what are my
    options?

The best you can do is use the Command (stored procedure)
    menu option. You
can either issue two commands, one to update each table, or
    you can write a
stored procedure that combines the two updates and issue a
    single command
from the page calling this stored procedure.
    > Would it be possible to create a view that combines two

It's possible, but the rules for updating views (and for what
    data in the
underlying tables gets updated) are not quite what you might
    expect. It's
generally not recommended to update a view.

  • Adding field with more than 255 characters to table VBAP

    Hi experts,
i am with a requirment to add field model number to VBAP table.
but the length of the field permitted is 255 char. basically model number comprises of all the characterstics fo material explained, so naturally its lenght will be long....sap do not allow me to enter string as data type for the field.
    what should i do
    thaks in advance
Edited by: Thomas Zloch on Mar 1, 2012

Hi, exactly. Since you are trying to write a data longer than 255, try this solution:
    variable_string type string.
    var_clear type string.
    strlen type i.
    count type i.
    strlen = strlen(variable_string).
    if strlen > 132.
    Do.
    count = count + 1.
    TLINE-TDLINE = variable_string(132).
    if count = 1.
    TLINE-TDFORMAT = '*'
    else.
    TLINE-TDFORMAT = space.
    ENDIF.
    append tline.
    MOVE variable_string+132 to var_clear.
    clear variable_string.
    MOVE var_clear to variable_string.
    if variable_string = space.
    EXIT.
    ENDDO.
    *now your VBAP-ZCUSTFIELD
    concatenate sy-datum sy-uzeit vbap-vbeln vbap-posnr to VBAP-ZCUSTFIELD.
    input in SAVE_TEXT Function module.
The next time youre running it, just use the value in VBAP-ZCUSTFIELD. and run READ_TEXT FM
As much as you want to extend one field to 255 characters, it is impossible. Unless you have to fill in several fields and cut your >255 character data.

  • Why same fields appearing more than once in a Table like EKPO , KNA1 ???

    hi ,
in SAP IDES version u will see :
In EKPO table : Two fields MATNR and EMATNR having same spec. and
showing same redundant data in IDES version .
    IN KNA1 table : NAME1 field appears twice ...
why so ? any utilities / Reason ????

    HI,
    kna1 is customer master table.
now 1 customer can have 2 names like 1 official and one nick name or 2 persons or brothers who are given only 1 customer no kunnr by their vendor.
these things are done by seeing all the business scenarios.
    now in table EKPO
    MATNR IS PRODUCT NO
    EMATNR IS MATERIAL NO.
now there is a difference between product and material.
a material can be a raw material semi finished or finished good, but a product is always a material which is been purchased through the purchase order from the vendor.
the matnr is essentially the final stage of the product by the vendor.
in many cases these contain same data but there are a lot of cases when these things worry.
if you have accesss to your production system then you can check there.
    thanks

  • LOV not return values more than certain limit

    Hi Guys,
I have created 2 search fields (State, Area) in report page. Both of them are LOVs based. User select first field value, next field's LOV return values based on the first field( AJAX call). First field is states like 'VIC', 'NSW', 'SA' etc..., next field is 'Area'. when I select state other than 'NSW' in state field then next field is populated successfully. But when I select state as 'NSW' then next field is blank. 'NSW' state has records more than 100 in the table(LOV based on), but all other states have even less than 10 records. when I remove (more than 50) records of 'NSW' in the table then It works.
Can anybody know if there is a limit of LOV that can be supported?

    Thanks Varad for reply.
As you suggested to change gReturn = get.get('XML') to gReturn = get.get() for text values, But it is not simple as you said.
I have found the problem. Actualy, there are some special characters in database column that suppose to return in LOV. But LOV is returned as xml object that may not support special characters (&,$, % etc...). I have put the 'replace' function in query. My query is like
    select replace(name,'&','and') d, id r
    from table1
    where val1 = :P2_val
    order by 1
This query works in SQL WORKSHOP but not in AJAX. Any Idea? If I have to replace get.get('XML') to get.get() then what other steps I have to perform?

    PL/SQL Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production
    CORE 10.2.0.1.0 Production
TNS for 32-bit Windows: Version 10.2.0.1.0 - Production
    NLSRTL Version 10.2.0.1.0 - Production

    1) Unless you are using something like DBMS_JOB, SQL*Plus, iSQL*Plus, the Oracle XE web-based front-end, or any other application is going to execute one SQL statement at a time.
    2) There is a dedicated XE forum-- the folks over there might know how to run a script using this particular front-end.
    3) Assuming the XE database is on your local system, you should be able to log in via SQL*Plus and use that utility to run your scripts.

    Hi Bhushan,
one where clause is missing in the main update.
    update fm_profiledet
    set (....)
    =(select ....)
where id in (select your profiledetails_pkey from the xml). <--this where clause were missing.
if xml extracting is too slow(xml very large) then you can create a procedure where exract your data from the xml and then update rows in for loop.
    something like this
    create procedure up_xmls(p_xml xmltype) is
    cursor cur_xml(p_xml xmltype) is
select ......<--here you extract your xml
    begin
    for r_row in cur_xml(p_xml) loop
    update fm_profiledet set target_source_table=r_row.target_source_table
    where profiledetails_pkey=r_row.profiledetails_pkey;
    end loop;
    end;this should work:

  • More than one result to choose from

    Hello..
    Can someone please advise...
I am amending a form which brings back an image from a table, but there are more than one within this table and I need to give the user the option to choose which one is viewed.
    Any suggestions/help/advice is greatly appreciated.
    TIA

Michael, thanks for that quick response! Yes, that was it. Of course I don't know why I would have selected that option. It would seem to make sense to put this option in the Preferences instead of Edit - it would make it less easy to change accidentally.
    Regards,
    Francis.

I am facing a problem while converting data from Excel 2007 to SQL server 2005 table. I am using BIDS 2005.I have an excel file where one particular column has more than 255 characters. I use OLEDB connection for excel file as there is no driver for Excel
2007 in BIDS2005. I am using Microsoft Office 12.0 Access Database Engine OLE DB Provider for Excel file.
Next, I changed advanced properties for the column to DT_NTEXT. But when I am getting errors on execution. They are:
[OLE DB Source [1949]] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR.  An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80040E21.
[OLE DB Source [1949]] Error: Failed to retrieve long data for column "action".
[OLE DB Source [1949]] Error: There was an error with output column "action" (2046) on output "OLE DB Source Output" (1959). The column status returned was: "DBSTATUS_UNAVAILABLE".
[OLE DB Source [1949]] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_INDUCEDTRANSFORMFAILUREONERROR.  The "output column "action" (2046)" failed because error code 0xC0209071 occurred, and the error row disposition on "output column "action"
(2046)" specifies failure on error. An error occurred on the specified object of the specified component.  There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure.
Please advise on how can I deal with columns having more than 255 characters in Excel file.
    Thanks!

Here is what your connection string should look like for excel source
    Provider
    =Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data
    Source=c:\temp\test.xls;Extended
    Properties="EXCEL 8.0;HDR=YES";
