Mouse over speed change question...

I was wondering. On my website, I like to have it where I can mouse over a picture and it changes to another. Now, it instantly changes which is fine but I would love for it to fade to the next picture. Instead of an instant change, I would love it to take about a half a second like a fade out to the next picture and not instant. Is this possible in Dreamweaver CS4?

Can anyone point me to a really good tutorial for doing mouse
over also

Simple Speed change Question

When I have a clip highlighted in the Sequence window and I click Command+J to adjust the speed, once I adjust the speed, all of my other clips behind that clip move depending on if I slow it or speed it, how can I make speed adjustments without moving my other clips?

Press F to match back to the original clip. Press APPLE-J...adjust the speed. Then cut it back into your sequence.

Mouse over - mouse out - click

HELLO
i have a menu :
Mouse over : color change
Mouse out : Back to default color
CLICK : animation
PROBLEM : when I click , the animation starts , but there are still triggers of mouse over and mouse out
which means animation got issues and return to mouse out position

You need the call to the handleBackClick function to be triggered by the end of the gotoAndPlay("click") animation, not by clicking it.

Must Mouse Over to Start Playback

I have an FLV player that plays just fine locally. When I
load everything onto a webserver, it still plays fine. If I call
the JavaScript to create the Flash ActiveX object (only having this
problem in IE) from a web page on a different domain, that's where
I start having problems. Nothing happens until I mouse-over the
control. This does NOT seem to be the standard ActiveX security
thing, which I have already handled in the external JavaScript
file. Any ideas?

Changing font color on mouse over

ok I searched and didn't see anything. So hopefully I won't
make anybody mad by asking this question. I want my text to do what
the text does at the following site. If you look in the far right
column you can see that the large text changes color on mouseover.
How do I do that. I have a VERY VERY basic knowledge of flash and
am using flash 8. So I would appreciate the dummy version.

Most of the links don't work yet but I need help with the
mouse over. I would also like my text to scroll continuous. I know
this is talked about alot. But I can't figure it out. If you click
on one of the names at the above site and see how theirs scroll,
that is what I want. But right now it is just +1 and -1. Any ideas?

The cpu resources are only limited once the cpu's are 100% utilized. It is highly unlikely that dom0 will try to use 100% of a cpu, let alone all cpus. Only when there are no idle physical cpus would you run into issues.
You may want to try reducing the number of vcpus in the windows guest. I have seen reports from users claiming that having more vcpus in a windows guest causes it to run slower.

In WebHelp, when I mouse over a link, the font size changes.

Either after I generate to WebHelp or View in RoboHelp, when I mouse over a hyperlink text, the font changes from large to small text. My step is a 11pt font, my body text is 10pt. It appears the 11 pt. font switches to 10pt font when I mouse over it. Any way to fix this?
Also noticed that when I have a note at 9 pt, and mouse over a link, the text changes to 10pt.
So now it appears in most of my topics with links within a step or note. In a body, the text appears fine (or stays the same) when you mouse over a link.

You should be able to edit your CSS in a text editor. If you are not sure what to do, set up a simple project using your CSS. Any text will do and create a link.

Image question for mouse over.

I hope this is a simple question. Can I place a 150px wide image on my page and when you mouse over have the same photo pop up that is 300 px wide? I know I can swap the images if they are both 150 px. But I want to see the larger photo with the mouseover can someone explain or show me where to learn how to do this if I can even do it? Maybe it is not mouseover image swap and it is called something else? Thanks in advance.

How do i change or hide the dialogue box that pops when i mouse over a link?

i'm using adobe acrobat standard.
i'm editing a document and adding links into the PDF to my website.
i prefer only to show the "hand/pointer" when you mouse over the link.
is there a way to:
a. hide the dialogue that pops up when you mouse over a link?
b. is there a way change the dialogue that pops up when you mouse over a link (e.g. Click Here versus the actual URL).

Mouse-Over/Click to change content of Text/Images

Hey,
In the past i have seen website which have the ability for the user to select from images of news stories which would then change the content of the main frame depending on which one was moused over/clicked. I've checked for any way to do this outside of doing it with flash and embedding it and come up with nothing.
Any suggestions or methods for doing this?

How do I change the mouse-over value format on the secondary axis?

Can anyone tell me how I can change the number format for the mouse-over values on the secondary axis of a combination chart? Right now they take on the format of the primary axis values. In my case, I need the primary to reflect a general number with three decimals, and the secondary to reflect currency.

Agreed. The option I've used before is to name the axes "Revenue ($)" and "Gross Margin (%)" (or whatever) and that makes the numbers a little more readable.

To give context it's a regular practise for windows gamers to set their mouse/pointer speed to 6/11 (middle notch, 6th out of the 11) in your system settings.
The reason being that setting provides a 1:1 ratio, signal from your mouse translating into pointer movement without any interpolation.
Which brings me to my question: On what setting, in Leopard, do you get that 1:1 ratio / zero interpolation.
