Move textarea item after report
I have a page displaying a 1 row report vertically. I want to add a comments text area field to the same region, but after the report. How do I get the item to display after the report instead of before it within the same region?

Hi,
Check the region's Display Point setting - you can use one of the "... (.. items below region content)" options
Alternatively, you can just create an HTML region in the same column but with a higher Sequence number and put your textarea item into that.

Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1. -
Expense (PR05) - Line item change report
Hi:
We are looking for a report on the changes made in the trip line items after the trip was submitted, approved, transferred to FI (at every status).
Basically if a consultant has submitted an expense and is approved by the manager, Then if consultant is opening that trip again and making the changes in the line item (change in cost object, amount etc) or adding a new line, we need a report which tells when was the change made, what was the change etc.
With the custom program, we are able to get the trip status history but not the line item details (change).
Any suggestions.It tells the status of the trip but doesn't tell me what change is made.
For example:
If the original trip had one line for Airfare (say 1000) which was approved and transferred.
Later on this was adjusted to Airfare (say 1010) which was again approved.
We want to know amount was changed from 1000 to 1010 on this date. Similarly to cost assignment. Any field which has accounting effect.
Basically our Accounts payable needs to know if they should settle the expenses without waiting for the receipts at month end (in the scenario where cost object is changed later but amount is same, so there is no revised receipt from consultant. They can just settle it again)
Some kind of report which tells when and what change was made (at item level).

I have icloud and a new iPhone5 ! They work good , took pictures and a few short movies, plugged in my phone to my iMac transfered Items to iPhoto then inported items to iMovie. when getting to know what i was doing i decided to delete pictures and movies i no longer wanted. when i looked for a few missing items i opend Finder and there some where buyt i had already trashed them and deleted the doubles. Still could not find missing pictures and movies 3 items and today after calling yahoo about a different complant with sending feed back for Yahoo mail Applications login . i opened up Attachments Not the Large Attachments just Attachments and there were the 3 items i had been hunting for to Trash and delete. the mail Attachments file does not have the Option to delet Files and photos and movies. When i tried to Download the 3 items a window shows up that says Error While Downloading the Files, A Server Error has occured, please Try Again later. nothing works how do i remove the Trapped photo and movie Blank Files and trash them? Onece they get into my downloads i can do something with them as i understand. That part of it kind of keeps me in Question also because why should i have to down load my own files of Attachments / Pictures and movies if they are comming from my iMac? How much better is iLife11 then iPhoto08 and iMovie08 . Thanks Greg

I have a peculear requirement for the inhouse application.
I generate a standard Purchase order report with normal requirements using d2k reports. This report is being printed as soon as the transaction commits and goes to the printer.
The Purchase order comes in 2 pages dependsing on the items and terms and conditions.
I have a standard Pdf doc comp_prof.pdf (which changes regular intervals conists of various comp. info and not related any database activity).
Currently this information is being printed manually after the Purchaae order is being printed.
I tried to incorporated in after report trigger. I was not succesful.
Pl. help what are the various options I have to solve this.
If I convert a PO to mail this doc also should go.the pdf need to print is not from oracle d2k report. That is pdf is a particular location. The pdf is not getting generated form oracle or any d2k component.
It is a standard any pdf doc consists of 3 page information. -
I have a service that moves finder items to a particular folder. Since I started using this I noticed I occasionally will need to move an item with the same name into this folder. Is there a way I can get the service to move the second item with the same name, but instead of overwriting the first item, have it add a -1 or something? If I open something like a zip file multiple times in finder, it creates the second one with a 1 after the name. That's exactly what I need. Any way to do that with a service like this?
No, I didn't give up on the thread, I just went to work with what you gave me to see what I could do with it. It's just that you've been nothing but extremely helpful and patient with me in the past; and I started to feel like I was coming to the board, putting up my problems, and you do everything for me. Okay, here is the deal with this item. I actually want to apply this with more than one operation, but the basic script or concept would remain pretty much the same. We create lots of documents like invoices, receipts, shipping labels, etc., that usually get saved as pdf onto the desktop. Then, they are named, often with the date and particular file name and finally moved into the proper folders. For example, shipping labels get saved to desktop with the default name of something like
vty3RlsIK.LabelGenerationServlet.part
Then I would change the name to something like
12-31-2009USPSLabel.pdf
Then, I would move it to the folder where we keep the shipping labels for records.
So, the service I created actually does more than just moving the file. It goes like this:
service receives selected pdf
in finder
name single item in finder item names (to: USPS_Label.pdf)
add date or time to finder item names (before name, underscore separator)
move finder items (to target folder)
open finder item (with default application)
The other ones I need would be similar, except they don't usually need to be opened afterward, just named and moved, for the most part. I figured I could continue to just use the name change function of automator before running the script, but if would run faster or more efficiently if that were also part of the script, I suppose that would be better. And I would like to be able to have the numbers go up through as many as I need. If it's a matter of just adding in all the possibilities of existing names up to the number I need, that's tedious work I don't mind doing now to save on having to name all these files in the future!
Also, these files are always named differently, so the source file would need to just be selected file, not the actual name.
Finally, I tried to play with the script to name the desktop like you said, but would it be something like
set source_folder to folder (path to desktop)
or
set source_folder to (path to desktop)
I still need to learn a little more before I understand the way that works. I am so used to only using the unix path, I like the ability to use (path to desktop) that's really interesting.
I think I may have rambled a bit, but that should explain the details of what I'm trying to accomplish.

I ordered an XMEN: Days of Future Past box set with a robot head last night for $17.99 plus tax for store pickup online. The total came out to be a bit over $20. When I checked my email today, I was charged $29.99 for the item, and tax based on the new sale price. This is an increase of more than 50%!
It is not legal to change the price of an item AFTER a price is agreed and someone has paid. I would like someone to fix this, as this is a big deal for your customers.

Problems with After Report trigger Updating using User-defined functions
Hi,
I have a report which uses SQL to select data that uses a user-defined stored function in the WHERE clause.
I use the same SQL in the After Report trigger with and UPDATE statement to flag all records selected as being run.
Data is being selected by the report no problem, but the records are not being updated. In a test, If I remove the conditions using the user functions, the records update as expected. In Live conditions I must have these conditions in the script.
I originally tried putting the UPDATE in a formual column, but that would not fire on records where that page was not paged through (or paged to end) in the Runtime Previewer.
Can anyone advise?In case anyone is interested.
The issue was that the stored functions have roles assigned for security.
PL/SQL for After Report doesn't seem to recognise the roles having been assigned for the report, so the implicit cursor update/select I had wouldn't work.
I changed the SELECT into an explicit CURSOR and introduced a FOR LOOP, keeping the UPDATE as an implicit statement.
I know see this was more of a PL/SQL issues than a report one, but such is life. So if anyone feels the urge to move it to the PL/SQL forum, then feel free!!

I assume you're running version 13 of DWI/RDW? What matters to RDW is that every row from the incoming RDWT file which slsildmex.ksh consumes, is output to slsildmdm.txt file, and that every row from slsildmdm.txt file is consumed and properly loaded to RDW target table sls_item_lm_dm table. DWI modules like slsildmex.ksh do have reject processing, for instance if an RMS.ITEM_LOC_SOH/ITEM_LOC record is not found for data in the RDWT file. In that case, the batch log and error (rfx/log and rfx/error) output of the run of slsildmex.ksh should have noted such a reject. I'm wondering if your itemfile and vatfile are artifacts of an RMS batch process such as posupld. If you're doing proper data validation from the RDWT file, to slsildmdm.txt file, to SLS_ITEM_LM_DM table in RDW, and the F_SLS_AMT (i.e. retail value) facts match how you have RMS/ReSA configured, then your sales integration to RDW is fine... and thsoe files might be more related to RMS sales uploading. Cannot move the items. You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation.
Recently, I upgraded outlook from 2007 to 2010, but I got a problem that I cannot move any mails to personal folder and the error msg is "Cannot move the items. You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation.".Even I create a new personal
folder in 2010 and try to move mails to it, I still get that error message.

Movie menu item no longer visible
The movie item is no longer visible on the menu bar. Internet, Computer and General are all there. Everything works including access to YouTube. Just the movie rental item is not longer there. Any ideas?
.....this problem is known and is fixed easily but making changes to the network config. I was hoping someone knew about that.
Most network issues are as a result of interference, with a lesser number being as a result of set up, you could try using another wifi channel for your network if the problem reoccurs at regular intervals after restarting your equipment. -
Alt-Click to move connected items on block diagram
Often, in block diagrams, I'd like to be able to slide all connected items together so they stay in the same relative position to each other. Currently, to move multiple items, you have to select them (rubberband), then click and hold to move them. It would be convenient if you could just hold Alt, then click, and have Labview automatically select all the items connected to the point you clicked.

Go to Solution.You can't. If you really want to delete a thread you need to send a note to the moderator. Simply select "Report to Moderator" from the Options menu (above and to the right of the message). I'm assuming you intended this to go into the LabVIEW Idea Exchange.

I need to create a program to Pack multiple delivery items after the PGI is done.
Single Pack(handling unit) may contain items from multiple Deliveries.
is there any BAPI or FM to Pack deliveries after PGI ?
I checked SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PACKING and HU_PACKING_DELIVERY but didn't understand which parameters to pass.

yes, normal flow is Delivery=>Picking=>Packing=>PGI but in our warehouse we are not following that process, we do Delivery=>Picking=>PGI and afterwords they do packing for export orders.
While packing our checker will capture packing Box number, Customer code, Delivery No, material number, qty with the help of VB.NET application which i need to update the data into SAP using program ( Batch mode )
here they want to pack based on customer code or based on destination address or etc that they will decide manually..
what ever way they have packed i need to update those details into SAP for reporting purpose.
This is our requirement, hope i conveyed properly..

I have tried changing the "DataSourceMode" as below, now the insert command is working, but update command is not working.

While there can be many causes for this generic error message, in my case the first parameter or ddwrt:DataBind function inside the SharePoint:FormFields element was
