Move value from one listbox to another listbox

Hi,
I have two list boxes with list of values in it. Can anyone help me to move values from one listbox to another listbox on click of a button in AWT. It will be of great help if i can get any sample code.

do u want to move a specific item that is selected or all of the items?
anyway the logic is very simple!:)
if u want to transfer the currently selected itme form the first List box,
use the method getSelectedItem() to get the currently selected item.
then keep this value in a String variable (item)
and use getItemSelected() to get the Index of it in int.
keep this value in an int variable (index)
then delete the item from the first list using the method remove(index) on the first list object.
then add the item to the second list using
add(item) on the second list object.

How to move cursor from one textfield to another textfield byusing enterkey

hii all,
I have a problem in java script.
To move cursor from one textbox to another text box ,I have take the length of the textboxes of the first column.I used onkeyDown event .
in the function ,firest i checked the condition like
for(i=0;i<form1.box.length;i++) //box is the name of the textboxes
if(event.keyCode==13)
form1.box[i+1].focus();
return false;
by using this the cursor is moving from first text box to secon textbox and stops.
if i use event.returnValue=false; instead of return false ,then the cursor automatically going to the laxt textbox of the column.
my problem is how i can focus the cursor from one textbox to another textbox one after the other till the end.
if any one has solution please help me.
also if we can do in another way also,please help me.

Move data from one table to another table

Hi all,
I had a custom table called sales_data in that table there are columns like JAn,FEB,upto DEC including other columns so in each month there is some data total data is 23000 count but each month has has specific data like JAn-2500,FEB-2000 like that it has total 23000 records
My Requirement is i have to move data from one table to another table that too if i will pass jan only jan data should move like that feb,march,.....
in my table there is no month column i had get it from another table called gl_periods and by using cursor and case function i have written the code
well while when i am inserting data am passing year,month as parameters but 23000 data is moving it should get like that.
Please suggest me.its urgent

I have created a funtion module and i am calling this function module inside a method and it is exporting some value in a table, now i have to pass table value to another method where i have do some thing based upon this values.
I think there a marco available to move the values from one method to another method.
Please help me in this issue.

Hi,
Let me make certain assumptions!
Method 1 - You export the table values
Method 2 - The method where you need the table values
Once you create a method from a function module which has tables as one of the export parameters then the code automatically puts in the macro code which looks like : SWC_SET_TABLE CONTAINER 'Table' TABLE.
The 'Table' in the above code is the container element which is created by the workflow once you use this method and the TABLE (The table that gets filled in the function module) is the variable to code automatically created.
Now you can use the other function module in the workflow as a background step and pass the values from the 'Table' container to this method using the binding. When you use this then the method automatically has the macro SWC_GET_TABLE CONTAINER 'Table' ITABLE. Here the 'Table' is the same container table you used in the binding and the ITABLE would be the variable you can use in the other function module.

How can i get value from one item into another item.
Ex: I have a report, in there i have check boxes, and when i have checked some rows, and press submitt, a prosses computates it into a item on another page, and a branche redirects to page 3. Then i'm going to use the value in the item into a PL/SQL script in an report to show the submittet items.

Use the V() function from pl/sql.
e.g. V('P3_MY_ITEM')
will return the value of that page item.
As long as the pl/sql is called from within the Apex environment.

we get values where cusor is placed but in my requirement i want to get to field values from one screen to another screen.

Just think of dynpros as windows into the global memory of your program... so if you want the value of a field on dynpro 1234 to appear on dynpro 2345, then just pop the value into a global variable (i.e. one defined in your top include), and you will be able to see it in your second dynpro (assuming you make the field formats etc the same on both screens!).

I have a problem while copying values from one cursor to another cursor.
The code looks like below.

   END LOOP;so basically i want to iterate the "temp_cursor" and depending on the values i get it from here i shall update a table. Actually i want to exclude few records from "temp_cursor" and add it/copy rest of the records to "TransactionResultSet"
That means say initially " temp_cursor" has 100 records and i updated 5 records in a table and same number of records should be excluded and rest should be added to the output cursor TransactionResultSet.
How do i achieve it?
while saving i am getting
(1): PLS-00456: item 'WIP_REC' is not a cursor.
Do any one has any idea what to do in such scenario?

Passing the values from one pgm to another pgm (Calling pgm has no sel scr)

In my requirement i need to pass the values from one program to another program.
I am using SUBMIT statement . But , the program which i am calling has no selection screen.
So how can i pass the values?

Export your internal tables or work areas to a memory id in ur program before u use submit.
Then in second pgm you have to import from memory id given above.
example.
EXPORT gs_header FROM gs_header to memory id 'HEADER'.
EXPORT gt_item FROM gt_item to memory id 'ITEM'.
SUBMIT YFIIN_DISHC_MAILREPORT EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY AND RETURN.
In your second pgm you can write
import gs_header TO gs_header from MEMORY id 'HEADER'.
import gt_item TO gt_item from MEMORY id 'ITEM'.

Can I move photos from one computer to another using Vault? I use an external hard drive as a vault for my Imac and I want to import photos to my Macbook pro. I have aperture 3 on both units. Can I just plug the ext. drive into the laptop and import from the vault?

You can't import from the vault but you can restore that vault onto the MBP. This will restore the complete library that is contained in the vault.
