Moving big files(600MB) with FTP Adapter error The IO operation failed

I everybody, I have the next trouble:
I need to move big files from one server to another remote server through ftp protocol. All the configuration is correct and I am able to move little files
with no problem, but when I move big files the server shows the next error:

Hi idavistro,
You can try setting the XA Transaction Timeout for SOADataSource.
1. Log in to the WebLogic Admin Console.
2. Select in the left tree: Services-> Datasources-> SOADataSource->Transaction.
2. Select Set XA Transaction Timeout.
3. Set XA Transaction Timeout to 0.
4. Restart the server and check if the error still appears.

I am not able to open the forms giving the error as "Fiscal Days Input - is invalid". If a form is invalid it generally means that one of the dimension references is missing. Can you get in to edit the form? If you can, see if you can preview it. I suspect you will not be able to. If not, check all dimension boxes have at least one member against them. If you have multiple rows and/or columns check all of them too. I've had a couple of forms in dev "drop" a dimension reference but only once or twice so not enough to reproduce or find out what is causing it. Each time I got the "form invalid" error message and managed to fix it. Hope this helps.

File Matching with FTP Adapter

Guys,
I have particular requirement where FTP Adapter needs to read set of files
FILENAME.PCL
FILENAME.I01
the file name would be matching but extensions are different.
the adapter needs to read the file match if they are SET of files ( based on file name) and move into target directory if not move into Error Directory .The Data needs some manipulation before it's written into target location so we are using ESB ( also for error notification) is it possible with FTP Adapter within ESB?

Memeber server in a domain connected with external trust. The agent operation failed, DPM could not communicate with the DPM agent. Error ID 270

I manually installed the agent on a member server in a domain (domainB) that has an external trust with the domain the DPM 2010 server, mydpmserver.domainA.int, is in.
I pointed the agent on myprotectedserver with setdpmserver -dpmservername mydpmserver.domainA.int
I successfully ran attach-productionserver.ps1 in DPM Management Shell.
When I click refresh in DPM 2010 Administrator Console/Management/Agents I get error id: 270
The agent operation failed on myprotectedserver.domainB.int because DPM could not communicate with the DPM protection agent. The computer may be protected by another DPM server, or the protection agent may have been uninstalled on the protected computer.
If myprotectedserver.domainB.int is a workgroup server, the password for the DPM user account could have been changed or may have expired.
I can ping myprotectedserver.domainB.int from mydpmserver.domainA.int
DPM 2010 backup of the domain_controller.domainB.int works fine.
The application log on myprotectedserver.domainB.int does not show any DPMRA related event logged.
The firewall on myprotectedserver is off.
Computers in domainA and domainB use their own networks connected through a router.

JCA Binding error with FTP Adapter on put operation

I am facing a problem with put operation with ftp adapter. my soa service will get file from the 1st ftp server (Unix) as attachment and is putting the file on another ftp serve(Unix)r. the put operation is failing with the below error:-

this is a SFTP server and the corressponding property is set to true on the configuration. I had also recreated the jndi again & also increased the max connections to 700, but still facing the same issue. Also i am able to ftp the files to this location through filezilla. Error code 36 when moving big files

getting error code 36 when moving big files from my mbp (10.6.8) to my external hard drive. have tried using the sudo command in terminal, but it doesnt work. what do i do?

I'm moving movie files around 800mb++ to HFS+ and NTFS formatted drives. no problems when using the NTFS drives with other computers but i cant really test the HFS drive on another computer since im the only one with a mac.
I've tried:
sudo cp /source/folder /destination/folder
but to no avail.

I try to connect with a partner with FTPS Adapter, I load the certificate from server and have the next error:

I try too with a certificate created in XI in the Visual Administrator, but don't work, the error is the same.
The channel is in Sender mode.

SFTP with FTP Adapter - Missing class: com.maverick.ssh.SshTransport

I am trying to use the SFTP with FTP Adapter for a project requirement.
I have followed the steps as mentioned in the below link

Have configured the oc4j_ra.xml file, but after creating a sample BPEL process with the FTP adapter, got this error message in the log file.

The missing class is not available from any code-source or loader in the system.
I tried getting a trial licencse for the maverick SSH tool from http://www.3sp.com/requestEvaluation.do?productCode=MAVERICK as discussed in one of the threads, but it redirects to http://www.barracudanetworks.com/ns/products/sslvpn_overview.php
Could anyone please help in this?

As per client's requirement, we shouldn't be using java service for this functionality.
And as you said, the oracle adapters are not taking anywhere, but guess have no other choice..

Change in file permission in ftp adapter

Hi All,
I am facing a problem in ftp adapter. I have a text file with 777 permissions when i am moving the file with ftp adapter(FTPMove operation to another folder file permissions are getting changed to 644. But if i move the file using command prompt permissions are same. The server is unix machine.
Can anyone plz tell me that how the files can be moved with same permissions using ftp adapter. i m using jdeveloper11.1.1.4.0. and soa11g.

Actually i use File Zilla client for file move and my question is that Is there a way that ftp adapter dont change file permissions while moving a file from one directory to another directory.

Sending Email When FTP Adapter Errors Out

Hello everyone,
I am developing a very simple interface to grab a file from a directory and ftp it to a partner's server. Now I want to be able to check if an error occurs when I send the file so I can send a notification e-mail to the administrator and move the file to an Error-Archive directory.
Some of the errors that could happen are:
1. Partner server is down
2. FTP Username or password is wrong
3. FTP account does not have permissions to write to the Partner server
4. ...etc
I have defined an Integration process and for the block where I ftp my file, I defined an exception which I catch in an exception branch. In the Exception branch, I have then defined steps to send notification emails and move the file to an error-archive directory. But unfortunately all the steps of the Integration Process seems to pass, although the FTP Adapter throughs an error.
I'm not sure how can I get the FTP adapter errors to be passed back to my integration process. I already searched in the service market place for OSS notes and also searched the SDN but I can't find any helpful information.
There is one OSS note, 821267, that mentions the use of System Acknowledgements. I'm not sure if this will help me and I don't know how to set it up.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to handle this particular scenario? Did anyone implement System Acknowledgements with the File/FTP adapter?

To do the alert configuration as suggested, please go through the information below.
From SP 14 on PMI-free alerting was introduced. That means before SP 14 one has to configure and activate the End-to-End Monitoring, and to schedule the report SXMSALERT_PROCESS_DATA_GET in order to extract the alerts from the PMI data. For SP 14 and higher, that's not longer necessary.
If no alerts are being delivered, please check if "Suppress multiple alerts of this rule" is checked for your rule.
For SP 14 and higher you could also have a look at the report sxmsalert_logreader. This report shows some information about alerts being created or not.
You'll find more information about trouble shooting the alerting in SAP Note 913858.
Also just check if this batch program (RSALERTPROC) is running or not.

Problem with FTP Adapter in creating a new Folder

Hi all,
I have a requirement in which a BPEL process shud create a folder named as sysdate dynamically and write a
CSV file into that.(ex: PO/2010-03-09/PO_1.csv).I created a header variable for Oubound FTP adapter and
passing the file directory as concat('PO/',xp20:current-date(),'/') to outbound header directory variable.Problem is FTP
adapter is not creating the sysdate folder its says:1.check u have privileges 2.file name is too long....Blah....Blah.
But i have all the privileges for that user.If i manually create the sysdate folder the FTP adapter is placing the CSV
file.The same works fine with file adapter...but i need to use FTP since the FTP server can change in future.Seems to
be a problem with FTP adapter....can some one help.
