MS Word property descriptions or heirarchy?

I am formatting test reports that I am creating via LabVIEW in MS Word 2000 on NT. The new LabVIEW 6.0.2 Report Generation Toolkit with Word vi's are great but incomplete. My huge hurdle for formatting directly with properties and methods is that there are no descriptions or a heirarchy showing the relationships between all of them. Does anyone know where I can find this documentation? NI does not offer this support, yet.

As i had and will have to deal with those property and invoke nodes, i'd be interested in knowing that, but for now the only way i have found is using VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), most of the properties are detailed there. It also helped me to build my program, when i have a problem doing something programatically, i record a macro and analyze the results, applying them to LabVIEW.
Hope this helps

  • How to get BP property description in query

    Hi,
    I need to retrieve the description of a BP property. I found the descriptions in the OCQG table, but can't figure out how to join this table with OCRD.
    I am trying to do something like this:
    SELECT T0.CardCode, T0.CardName, T0.QryGroup9, T1.GroupName FROM OCRD T0, OCQG T1
    Can I retrieve property descriptions some other way, or can anyone tell me how to join OCRD and OCQG (maybe there is some table in the middle)?
    Thanks,
    Johan

    Hi Mike,
    Sorry about the long long interval.
    I tried with the query you suggested, but slightly adapted (
    SELECT DISTINCT T0.QryGroup9, T1.GroupName FROM OCRD T0 LEFT OUTER JOIN OCQG T1 ON T0.GroupCode = T1.GroupCode
    ) but it only returns NULL for the descriptions.
    By now, I have also come across the need to find the description of item properties based on ItemCode. As far as I can tell the table with the descriptions is OITG. Again however again I can't seem to figure out how to join this table with OITM.
    In other words I need to do something like:
    SELECT OITM.ItemCode, OITM.ItemName, OITG.ItmsGrpNam FROM OITG SOMEHOW JOIN OITM ON SOMEHOW WHERE 'Y' IN (OITM.QryGroup1, OITM.QryGroup2, OITM.QryGroup3, OITM.QryGroup4, etc)
    Any help appreciated,
    Johan

  • Word property with multiple lines

    Good Morning,
    I have a Document Library with an Word template, I fill some properties of the library so I can put this properties in the template. I am trying to write a line break, Any idea?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you want to use Word property with multiple lines.
    Per my knowledge, you can remove two updates: KB2760769 and
    KB2760758.
    The working version of office is 14.0.6129.5000.
    Here is a similar thread for your reference:

    As this question is more relate to Word, I suggest you post it to the corresponding forum, you will get more help and confirmed answers from there.

  • Word property node:selection - Ref.Number is 0!

    Hello
    I am trying to set a word property in LabView. The problem is that the selection property node is giving me always a ref.number of 0 back!
    Therefore I can not set anything due to an error which is generated afterwards. I am using the word version 2010 with the LabView 2012 SP1.
    Does anybody know how to solve that? Is a registry key missing maybe? Attached is a demo-vi.
    thanks in advance

    Code works OK for me.  I open MS Word, type in some text, select some text, run your VI and it returns with no errors.
    Of course though if I run it without MS Word open or without any text selected it returns 0.
    Edit:
    Actually as long as MS Word is open the VI runs OK (even with no selection)

  • How to display link property : description

    hi all
    Im trying to display a link's description property in an iview.
    How do i go about doing this?
    Message was edited by: rinx

    Hi Patricio
    Can you explain this by uing code/an example..
    Where do I put in LayoutSet in the following code?
    From what Ive seen in documentation/weblog, I currently have the following code to retrieve a description property of a link:
    IPropertyName propertyname = new PropertyName(IWcmConst.SAP_WCM_NAMESPACE,IWcmConst.PROP_DESCRIPTION);
    IProperty property = resource.getProperty(propertyname);
    if(property != null){
    //description exists
    description = property.getValueAsString();
    }else{
    description = "";
    Namespace should point to the link, right?
    How would I do this?
    Say that I have links in folder path : /documents/quicklinks/financelinks
    In financelinks contains links to different locations in portal eg. link to "finance standard document"
    Link "finance standard document" has a description : "xx"
    I want to get this description.
    I very much need some urgent help.

  • OAF Personalization Property description resource

    I'm trying to extend a Stacked Layout region on a standard page by using Personalization.
    However, it seems impossible without knowing what the Properties on the Personalization page are for.
    I did some research and "Oracle Application Framework Personalization Guide" referred me to "OA Component Reference" for personalization item properties.
    The problem is, I can't find the "OA Component Reference" anywhere in Oracle Online Document.
    Does anyone know where to find a copy of that document or a good resource link/document that I can reference to?
    Thanks!

    You can find component properties in Help section in jdeveloper.
    also check the Chapter 4: UI components in the OAFramework developers guide.

I trying to resolve this problem from two days , cant figure out why I get this exception. I tried changed the property name I still get the same error. It is something to do with the bean, I am not sure why its not able to set the property, I know that the get and set methods exist in the class file. Any help would be greatly appreciated . I have pasted the bean file, faces-config.xml, and the inputname.jsp file below. Thanks a lot.

  • How do I correctly append/prepend a description for an AD user?

    I'm still a little new to PowerShell, but experienced enough to be able to search the net and formulate my own script, but I've been stuck on this one part for an entire day now.  Here's what I'm trying to accomplish using PowerShell 4:
    I've already run the following script to produce a list of users in our domain that have not logged into the network for more than 90 days (This is done as a separate requirement of the business):
    search-adaccount -accountinactive -usersonly -timespan "105" | Export-Csv "k:\Inactive90 $(get-date -f yyyy-MM-dd).csv"
    So I have a csv file with the following headers (and data below it, but removed for business privacy):
    AccountExpirationDate Enabled LastLogonDate LockedOut Name ObjectClass ObjectGUID PasswordExpired PasswordNeverExpires UserPrincipalName
    I need to pre-pend the date of disable within the description of the AD user.  The problem that I'm experiencing is that the resultant description that I'm receiving is that the first part of the description is what I expect, where it says
    Last login more than 90 days, Disabled on WHATEVERDATE, but the second part of the description, where I'd expect to see the original description of the AD user, I see this:
    @{Description=PREVIOUS DESCRIPTION TEXT HERE}, so from what I can gather, the original description is getting read as an array, and is thus being output as an array.  So I tried forcing it into a string by putting [string] at the front of the
    $Desc variable.  No dice.
    So the resultant description that I'm currently left with is:
    Last login more than 90 days, Disabled on WHATEVERDATE, @{Description=PREVIOUS DESCRIPTION TEXT HERE}
    I obviously don't want the brackets and @ sign and Description= there.  I'd like it to read as:
    Last login more than 90 days, Disabled on WHATEVERDATE, PREVIOUS DESCRIPTION TEXT HERE
    Below is the code for a script that I've written.  Any help is much appreciated.
    $cred = Get-Credential
    $Date = Get-Date -UFormat %D
    $InactiveUsers = Import-csv ".\test.csv"
    foreach ($User in $InactiveUsers)
    Disable-ADAccount -Identity $User.ObjectGUID -Credential $cred
    $Desc = Get-ADUser -Identity $User.ObjectGUID -Properties Description -Credential $cred | Select-Object -Property Description
    Set-ADUser -Identity $User.ObjectGUID -Credential $cred -Description "Last login more than 90 days, Disabled on $Date, $Desc"

    This should work:
    $cred = Get-Credential
    $Date = Get-Date -UFormat %D
    $InactiveUsers = Import-csv ".\test.csv"
    foreach ($User in $InactiveUsers)
    Disable-ADAccount -Identity $User.ObjectGUID -Credential $cred
    $Desc = Get-ADUser -Identity $User.ObjectGUID -Properties Description -Credential $cred | Select-Object -ExpandProperty Description
    Set-ADUser -Identity $User.ObjectGUID -Credential $cred -Description "Last login more than 90 days, Disabled on $Date, $Desc"
    Instead of
    Select -Property Description
    use
    Select -ExpandProperty Description
    that will give you the actual data of the property instead of what is called a NoteProperty that gives you the brackets.
    I hope this post has helped!

    Use a lower case initial on a bean property name.
    Instead of:
    <jsp:getProperty name="courseBean" property="Name" />try:
    <jsp:getProperty name="courseBean" property="name" />The same will apply to other properties. Also, make sure you use the lower case initial on form field names. e.g. <input type="text" name ="name"> for use in <jsp:setProperty name="courseBean" property="*" />

  • Help on meta tag and pagr description

    how / where to write meta tag and page descriptions on
    dreamwaver 8
    i'm currently can't find where to write down my key words and
    descriptions on the meta tag and page description place on
    dreamwave . please advise step by step as i'm a beginner
    thanks in advance
    you can e-mail me at : [email protected]

    The code you show *already* has a keywords and description
    META tag in
    place. So - what is your question? You would either modify
    the currently
    existing ones or replace them with new ones. And the keywords
    meta is
    pretty useless as has already been suggested.
