Multi update region with 5 checkboxes - problem in updating

Hi,
I have a multi update region with more 5 checkboxes which 2 tables LO & SCLO. LO ID is the unique id for each row.
1st checkbox - If we select 1st checkbox, I am adding a record to SCLO with LO ID.
2nd Checkbox - yes/no attribute in SCLO table.
3rd - 5th checkboxes - T/F attributes in LO table.
Everything is working well if there is LO ID, because I will have a hidden item for LO ID and process where I am only updating LO and adding SCLO.
When I add a new LO, the trouble occurs for updating 3rd - 5th ck boxes because there will be null value for all the columns in the row.
What I did is, I first insert LO and gets LO ID from OUT parameter, sets 3rd - 5th ckboxs as null. Then get the out parameter (LO ID) and tried to update again the LO table which is causing some problem and the code, loops are getting very tricky.
Is there any easy way to handle this?

Try waiting, a lot of people are also interested in updating to iOS 5.1 so it's probably server related.

Updating regions with setDataFromArray()

I have a Spry Region "players" that has a Spry.Data.DataSet "dsPlayers" that is EMPTY onload
on an unrelated event I "add" rows to the dataset by first acquring any array of rows currently in the dataset and adding a new row on to it.
I then setDataFromArray(rows) with the new array of rows. My problem is that the spry:region DOES NOT update and list out the data.

Note that in debugging I see the dataset recieving the data and the regions notification events go off.

the definition for setDataFromArray() is
Replaces the data inside the data set with the row data in the specified array. If the row data does not have a ds_RowID column defined, it will automatically create one and assign an ID that is the equivalent of the row's index within the array.
Developers should be aware that the data set takes ownership of the objects within the array that is passed in. That is, it uses those objects as its row object internally. It does not make a copy of the objects.
By default, this function will trigger a synchronous "onPreLoad" notification, followed by asynchronous "onPostLoad" and "onDataChanged" notifications that are made sometime *after* the function has exited. If developers want these notifications to happen synchronously before the function exits, they can pass a true for the optional 2nd argument to the function. Developers should be aware that synchronous notifications could cause potential notification cycles in complex situations where data sets and regions are used together, so use sync notifications with caution.
Are you guys NOT suggesting that even though the notifications happen after they DON'T affect the regions?

Help me plz with a problem after updating to ios 6.1

Hello guys, i have a iphone 4S runnig ios 5.1.1 today
i updated him to the last version wich is ios 6.1
before that i did a back up using the itunes.
so far so good i did the update via itunes..
and then i choose to restore mine informantion from the back up that i did earlier..
the back up succes all my photos, apps and wahtever came back to the phone, and one problom with it...
after the back up, on the settings app i have on the right top corner a red icon with the number "1"
wich tell me that i have a update or notficition.. whan i go to setting to see what is about
i cant fing anything, the phone is updated to the last version..
how can i delete the annoying red simble from my settins app??

To solve the contacts problems try to create a "dummy" new contact. I have created new contact in the phone and all contacts appeared. Seems like the contacts app problem.
Not sure about messages and other stuff..

Updating email with iCloud problems

After switching to icloud, while icloud updates for my calendar and email they are not progressing. What's the problem?

POP depends on emails being downloaded to the accessing computer, usually deleting the messages from the server once downloaded, so that they are not visible to other devices.
You can usually set the mail clients not to delete the messages, or to delete them after a specified period, so that they can be downloaded by other devices. Of course if you answer a message on one device it won't show as answered on the others, so you have to keep mental track of which ones you've dealt with. Also sent messages won't be visible to other devices.
With IMAP the messages live on the server and are read from there by all the devices (like webmail) so that the whole process of multiple devices works much better (as you see it's not actually 'syncing' at all).

5530 V.20 update - anybody with these problems?

Hey, So the update is available for the UK phones and I updated my 5530 to the v.20 firmware. Unlike what most users say that the phone is faster, I dont really find that to be the case. When I startup, it takes awhile longer. Sometimes the wallpaper appears and then disappears and then reappears again with the contacts bar and everything. The problem really seems to be the home screen. Every time I go back to the home screen or click on menu, theres a black line in the center, a flash n nothing happens or a flash n it works. Sometimes, the flash is not there and the menu just opens up. I dont really know how to explain that, but I hope uve got an idea of what i'm saying. I'm wondering if I should soft reset.

You could always soft reset and make sure you store everything on E instead of C, but I have one little question. Do you have a wallpaperpicture in bigger size than the screen allows by pixles?

Afraid to install update; anyone with NO problems?

Hate to sound like such a fraidy cat, but having read all the posts reporting serious issues after installing the latest update (I guess it's 10.4.9 since I'm running 10.4.8 and am getting update notices via Software Update), I'm hesitant to install it!
Is there anyone out there with an iBook like mine (G4, 1.42 Ghz) who has installed the update withOUT problems?

IMO, checking your boot volume for any directory errors via Disk First Aid repair via Disk Utility when booted from your Tiger install disc is more important than repairing disk permissions beforehand.
I've installed every major OS update when released with Jaguar, Panther and now Tiger without repairing disk permissions beforehand without a single problem but I always check my boot volume for any directory errors with Disk First Aid repair beforehand.
After using the Migration Assistant with my PB when new 1&1/2 years ago, Software Update indicated there was a major OS update available along with some additional updates. Although my PB was brand new and had not been on for more than an hour, I ran Disk First Aid repair on my boot volume before installing the available updates. Lo and behold there were some directory problems that were successfully repaired. I venture to say that I probably would have experienced some sort of problem after installing the updates had I not done so. As always, I didn't repair disk permissions beforehand and the updates were installed without any problems.
I usually repair disk permissions afterwards which is where any problems with permissions can turn up.

I have been using Firefox with no problems recently updated to new version and now getting message "The proxy server is refusing connection firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connection" what do I do?? thanks

You may have installed an extension that made changes to the connection settings.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Update calendar with holiday problem

I have a small problem, I'm not managing to add a holiday into my holiday calendar.
In SCAL in public holiday - my holidays is well created but when i want to edit holiday calendar I'm chosing the calendar and then i have a screen to assign the holiday. When i click on the assign holiday my holiday that before was present in public calendar is not exisiting. What to do?

Deleting With Checkboxes Problem

I have created queries and processes as per the How To's etc. for deleting rows via check boxes. The problem I am having is that if the query returns 3 records for example and I select only 1 via the check box, all 3 records end up being deleted.
This is my query which is in an SQL Query (updatable report) region;

I have a "Delete Checked" button and the process behind it is as follows;

"test" is simply the PK for the "test_tab" table. "id" contains the values of "FUNDING_ID" returned and deleted. Note that only id = 5050 was selected for deleting via the checkbox, yet 5049 and 5051 were deleted also.... @#$%#@
I want this to work such that only 5050 would be deleted...

I have modified the process code to the following to try and see what's going on;

I haven't been able to access the iTunes store for almost a year, having been knocked out after downloading an iTunes update. With the most recent update, I can no longer access radio broadcasts as well.

To solve the iTunes store problem, I have tried the suggestions suggested by Apple on the website to no avail. Since downloading the last iTunes update, I can no longer access radio broadcasts. It tries to connect to tuning service, but the refreshing catagory list notice never stops and connection is never made. No store connection and no classical radio connection--What will I loose with the next update? I'm not a computer person and don'y know what to do! Help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Java 1.6 update 7 with Java 1.6 update 10 Next Generation Plugin, possible?

Hello,
I have a quick question. A client I work with has a need to use Java 1.6 update 7 to access their Oracle applications. We need to have the plugin (Next Generation) work with this version, even though I am aware that it does not come with it. I tried moving the npjp2.dll plugin in to the Firefox plugins, and although it shows up as the plugin inside Firefox, Java never loads.
Is there a way to force upon Java 1.6 update 7, the Next Generation plugin for it to be compatible with Firefox? I am currently trying this on Firefox 10 due to browser security features that killed my testing in later versions.

V19 Update: Articles with Audio contents - New, Update, Preview Error

After v19 ipdate,
Articles with Audio contents (worked well on v18) don't work New/Update (Folio Builder), Preview (Overlay Creator).
Articles with Video contents, they work well, Create, Update, Preview is OK.
How am I wrong?
