Multiple button actions not working in frame

In the first frame of an fla I have the code below , only the functions in red works. When rolling over the second only the first function in blue works but the mouse freezes when attempting to rollout (green)
But if I remove the code from the first frame and code each seperate button the functions work.
Any reason for this

Yes, I agree it has to do with the main_mc file. I just hardcoded each
button separately and all functions work, so that means the problem is
in the mc.
I will leave this for now but will have a good look when I have time
as I gotta get this to a client.

AS2 button actions not working

I've created a dropdown menu movie clip, and I want the various buttons in the dropdowns to link to various Scenes.
When I test the movie the dropdown menus perform as intended, and the buttons appear to have rollover states, but they do not link to my additional Scenes.
I have gone into the movie clip containing the buttons, and given the buttons instace names, and then added the following AS2 script to go to the next scene, but it does not work:
displayB_btn.onRelease=function() {
gotoAndStop("Scene 2",1);
In a nutshell, I cannot move beyond Scene 1.
I have tried making the instances movie clips rather than buttons, but that has created its own problems.

in as2, do not use scenes for navigation and do not use the goto functions.
use frame labels and use the goto methods:
_root.gotoAndStop("scene2_frame1");

Save button is not working for ONE CLICK ACTION

Hi All,
We have embeded a custom table view in a standard component.While we are editing the first row of the table view by ONE CLICK ACTION & pressing the SAVE button of overview page,then the record is saved in the database. But if we edit any row other than the 1st one,the save button is not working.
We have used transaction context here for simple object.
lv_tx_ctxt = lr_ent_bt->get_transaction( ).
my_tx_context->add_tx_context( lv_tx_ctxt ).
Please suggest how we can focus on the current line which we are editing & can save the record in database?

Probabaly this is not my problem. I know that how bt one click we can get the desired row.
Let me briefly explain you my requirement and currently where I am stuck.
I have a assignment block ( custom) in the main overview page with a custom table view ( ie in the view we are displayng entries in the table view ) and the user can press edit button on any row and that will open the particular row in edit mode . User will change the value in any of the columns and press save button on the main component and the custom changes will be saved in the database.
Now the problem that we are facing is when we are chnaging the first row it si working but when we are doing chnages in the 2nd row or 3rd row changes are not saved ( not even in the table view that is getting displayed) .
*Let me briefly tell you the approach that we took . Since our table view uses a simple object ( which is not a related object with BTORDER so we need to explicitly save the simple object entities to transaction context and for doing that we have redefined the eh_onsave method in the overview page) .
*Now the save button is in overview page so to pass the entry from our custom table view to overview we are using custom controller . The custom controller 's collection wrapper only has the first entry of the table view custom_controller->collection_wrapper->get_next is failing which is the reason why the 2nd entry is not getting saved.
Can you tell me how i can get all the table entries in my custom controller's collection wrapper?

File Upload Action Button are not working

In the File Upload Process when the processor are open change request there are Action Buttons Approve/Reject ,
When the CR Processor are Click on either Approve or Reject these two Action Button are not working (means its not show any activity) , while rest of all action button like save,close check , Run validation are working ...
While Processor has authorization to Approve/Reject that CR ...

These buttons are dependent upon the workflow steps. Check that. Check the linkage for workflow. Check SWI6 - CR number and the step. Based on the step you can identify whether the proper step is assigned or not.

Windows 8.1 - Upgrade from 8, Start Button Does Not Work

I cannot find a fix for my 8.1 start button.
It works when I move the task bar to the top, right or left but not at the bottom. I ran all windows updates and there are no missing/unknown drivers in device manager. No errors in the event log. I've restarted multiple times and created a new local profile.
I've also tried:
Copy WinX folder under C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows into C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows.
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Any ideas? I would prefer not to do a clean install. Thanks in advance.

Could you please describe a little more detailed about “Start Button does not work”? What is the symptom?
Yes, when the taskbar is at the bottom of the screen, I cannot left click on the start button. The machine is also a touch-screen, which does work when I touch the start button. If I move the task bar to the left, right or top; the start button does work.
And what is the kind of the account, Domain? Local? Or both?
This is local machine.
It still doesn’t work in a new account?
Same issue happens with a new account.
What happens if you use win + "X"?
Win + "X" works fine; displays options.
Regarding to the “doesn’t work, both for screen touch and mouse?
Left-click via the mouse does not work. Touch works fine.
Can you try to copy the WinX folder from a working PC to your PC for a test?
I do not have another Windows 8.1 machine available to me.

Button actions only work the first time used then nothing?

This is what I have...
I Have 2 buttons in MC named mcMovieTrans the AS for these buttons are in the MC's timeline, the code is:

when the buttons are activated they go to there corresponding frames and Stop. As an example of what happens next I'll show you frame 3 which plays MC mcKraveMovie:
Frame 45 has a flv. movie on it that plays at this frame. The AS for this timeline on Frame 45 is:

I replaced all the button symbols that where in tweens on the MC mcKraveMovie with static art. But I still Get this error:

Button is not working properly- why not?

Hello Everyone!
I have searched the forums for the answer for my question, and I have read the "read this before you post" information, and I can't find the answer to my issue/question.
I have a Captivate 4 project I have started, and I have inserted buttons on the slides (pretty basic task!). My issue is that the buttons I put on slides don't work 25% of the time. For example, I have a slide with a "next" button. I made sure to set the button up to "continue to next slide" when clicked. I go to view the project, and click "next" and nothing. *Sigh*
Then on another slide, I have put a transparent button over an image. I click on the transparent button over the image and nothing. It does nothing. I have saved the project, closed it, reopened it, and the buttons still don't work.
I recheck the properties of the buttons, and everything seems to be configured properly, but yet they do not work. Very frustrating. I can get most of my buttons to work properly, but randomly buttons are not working. What am I missing here?
Otherwise, I have Captivate 4, and my company probably won't be upgrading to Captivate 5.5. After reading how Captivate 4 projects won't open in Captivate 5.5, I'm fine with that decision. We have too many projects created in Captivate 4, to not be able to open them with 5.

Okay, here is a trip up spot. When you configured your button or click box, did you also maybe clear the "Visible" check box? Many users misunderstand that beastie and clear it thinking "well, I don't want the user to see the button or click box".
Clearing it is a misguided attempt. The option is used when you wish to control things using Advanced Actions.
Also, is there a question slide between where you are and where you want to be? If so, sometimes your Quiz settings will prohibit jumping to a slide beyond the unanswered question.

Printer Power button in not working,no light indication

HP Deskjet F2400 Series
My Printer Power light is not working, and Indicator lights are also not blinking. but Scanner is working fine. Also an error message showing "Cover is open".but the cover is closed properly. There is a problem with printer.

I see that your printer power button is not working, and that their is no light indicators.
I think this guide should help. 'The Cover is Open' Message Displays on the Computer.
If that doesn't work, please respond with the type of printer you have as their are multiple Deskjet F2400s. Finding Your HP Product Model Number.

None of the links or buttons do not works after change the name of the page

hi,
I made some modifications on the original page and changed its orijinal name LoaSummaryPG to XXLoaSummaryPG. Although all of the components are the same as the orijinal one, none of the links and buttons are not working in the newly copied page. Neither only changing the name LoaSummaryPG to XXLoaSummaryPG nor creating a new page with a name XXLoaSummaryPG did not work.
A page works with no error and the data shown is correct when it opened.
Is it about regionMap.xml? or what can i do?

I can't make any other action in the page. Now, I can only say that al actions in the page except about this page link and personalization link cause this error.

Default button behavior not working with melting group

Hi,
I just realize that the default button behavior, i.e. fill out form and press enter without clicking on the actual button, does not work if one or more input form elements are in a melting group. This is a bug, right? I'm using CE7.1 SP5.

Hi Dharmi,
I define a button as default, fill out the inputfields and press enter on the last one. As soon as I put this one in a melting group and press enter, the action of the default button is not triggered anymore. I can press enter in another field which is not in a melting group and the form is submitted correctly.
I just noticed that if the button is in a melting group (with or without an input field) it doesn't work either.
Can you reproduce this behavior?

Can multiple button actions be implemented by creating just one RFC?

Hi All,
I wanted ask a general question "is it possible to create just one RFC for multiple button actions such as delete, insert, search, modify, copy".
I tried using one RFC for all the above mentioned actions but I wasn't able to consistently get expected results. So, I just want to confirm from SDN forum members that is it a good practice or is it advisible to create individual RFC for each button actions?

Hi,
I did not see any problem for that creation on multiple button actions such as delete, insert, search, modify, copy". These actions depending up on your RFC.
For Example. Your RFC having Insert and Delete Functionality you can develop these two Actions. i.e is depending upon your requirement and Depending upon you r RFC functionality. That
RFC donu2019t gave insert, Delete, modify these functionalities no need to create these Actions.
So there is no restriction for call the RFC Via Actions(buttons)

Advanced action not working on slide end

Hi,
I am new to captivate.
I am creating a toggle button. On clicking this button an image appear and disappear.
It works fine if I click the button before captivate slider reaches to its end. Slider stops moving when I click.
But if I try to click the same button after slider reaches to its end the button does not work.
I am applying the advanced action.
Pleae help me to resolve the issue.

I just set up the same toggle action but I had mine slightly differently set up so that:
If toggle == 0
Assign toggle = 1
Show img_1
Else
Assign toggle = 0
Hide img_1
This worked for me and clicking the button did not advance the slide timeline.
Do you have Pause After X seconds selected for the button properties under Timing accordion?
If your button is not pausing the slide and you allow the timeline to move beyond the button's active area (at the end of the slide or at the end of the button's duration on the timeline) then it will cease to work.

Sleep/Wake Button Weird - Not Working?

My brother kicked my iPod touch 2nd gen off of the couch and I didn't see how it landed, but the Sleep/Wake button is not working now and acting weird. It seems sticky and doesn't click easily, but when I press it, it doesn't lock the screen at all. Sometimes if I click it multiple times in quick succession it gives me the option to turn it off, or it will give me the same option to turn it off if I just press it once. Does that mean it is sticking inside the iPod? Because you normally have to hold it down to turn it off, but I'm only clicking it once.
Snd once, after clicking the Sleep/Wake button many times without anything happening, I pressed the home button, but the screenshot had been activated somehow. I ended up taking about 30 screenshots of my calculator before a boy in my Geometry class fiddled with it a little and I finally got back to Home. What does that mean?
Will Apple help me? What should I do? Can it be fixed? I just got it for Christmas, about 5 months ago, so my warranty is still going.

It may be a mechanical problem, it may be software. Do a restore through iTunes and see if the problem persists.
As for your warranty, if your touch shows any signs of "abuse" they won't repair it under warranty. You can try taking it to your local Apple store and see where you get. Just be carefull about what you tell the Genius.
