Multiple Label fields within the Parameter List of Available Values

Hi,
I have a business requirement where this is a period number which will be a value filed within a parameter. The labels of the parameter need to be the start date of the period and the end date of the period. What is the best way implement this in SSRS please?
Since SSRS seems to be limited to one label field. My best quess at a solution is to concatinate the start and end period into a single field then expose this as the label.
Is this the best approach to take?

You need to modify the dataset to concatenate start and end periods to get new field which can be used as your label field.

When you say field, do you mean specifically a form field, such as a text field? Or is the information regular text on the page?

Passing Java statements in the parameter list

I am relatively new to Java and have a need to create a method which has a Java statement passed to it in the parameter list. The purpose is to optionally run this statement within the method. For example:
I have a method called rotateAndTranslate that sets up an Affine Transform by saving the existing transform context, creating a new transform, and then invoking that transform. After the new transform is invoked, I would like to have the ability to run different Java graphics commands (or not) before continuing with the remaining portion of the existing method (in this case, restoring the previous transform.
I am not able to find any clear information on how to pass in Java statements and then invoke them.
Can someone help with this? Please keep it simple as I am still trying to get my head around Java and OOP.

you're talking about closures, more or less, which java doesn't currently have
you can get close to it by using anonymous inner classes. define an interface, say Transformer, and pass instances of that as arguments:

Transformer transformer = new Transformer() {
public void transform() {

...obviously, the MyTransformerClass.doTransform() must take a Transformer as a parameter

No, that's just wasting space. A back up needs to be on a different disk.

Currently I created a SharePoint hosted Apps project and I need to know how can I get additional field from the second list base on lookup information column. example List1 Have 2 columns column1 and column2(Lookup Information from list2 (category)),
List2 have 3 columns title, and category, and color. so how can get the title and color from list2 base on this lookup information column (SharePoint Hosted apps and Javascript code)? that is possible?

What are all the ways that can add fields in the output list of FBL3N transaction?

Hello dear experts,
There is this transaction FBL3N, which you might be aware of. Now, the requirement is to add 4 new fields in the output list of the standard program.
The fields are:
NAME1   KNA1
LOKKT    BSEG
USNAM   BKPF
TXT50      SKA1 -> SKAT
Please tell me how to do this apart from implementing the note 310886. What are the other ways?

I agree, start reading 984305 - Line item: Definition of special fields (T021S)
Then for non BSEG/BKPF fields, better use BAdI FI_ITEMS_CH_DATA (1323512) and not the good old BTE 1650, the BAdI will be called once with the full internal table with special fields already filled, when the BTE will be executed for each and every record without special fields, so harder to optimize, and may require access to BKPF/BSEG for missing fields.

How to add a Field to the Result List in Activity

Hello Experts !
We are on CRM 7.0. I want to add a field to the Result List of Activity (Component: BT126S_APPT / View: ApptSR). This field is the address of the "Employee Responsible".
So, how can I add a field to the Result List? AET is not a relevant tool for us because we don't want to create an attribute it already exist in the BOL. We just have to enhance the result list with BOL existing attributes.
Also, after I add the field, I will need to populate my field with Data via some method.

The component was missing some technical data. Implement sap notes 1226612, 1363752, and then follow the manual procedure shown below.
u2022     Execute transaction SE11.
u2022     Choose the Radio button "Data Type" and enter value
              "CRMST_QUERY_R_ACT_BTIL" in the Data Type field.
u2022     Click on "Change" button.
u2022     Position the cursor before the Includes added to this structure. Click
             On the "+" button to add a new attribute.
u2022     Enter the following details in the newly added blank row.
     Component: PERSON_RESP_LIST
     Component Type: CRMT_PERSON_RESP_LIST.
u2022     Save the changes and activate the structure.
u2022     Add the "Employee Responsible" field to the View configuration.
u2022     Open the BSP application BT126S_APPT.
u2022     Double-click on the view BT126S_APPT/ApptSR in the left side panel.
u2022     Choose tab "Configuration" in right side panel.
u2022     Choose the right configuration by using the "Choose Configuration" button.
u2022     Click on the Edit button.
u2022     Add the "Employee Responsible" attribute from the "Available fields" list to "Displayed fields" list.

Hi Sid,
You need not modify the xml file. You have to change the JSP file(not sure which one) for your application using the netweaver developer studio.

'Notes' field within the Address Book is greyed out

The 'Notes' field within the Address Book is greyed out. The resolution seems simple enough yet this does not work: "Select the person in the Name column in Address Book, then click the Note field in the card."
It's still grey after doing so and data cannot be entered into the 'Notes' field.
Any help much appreciated.

I am using 10.1.3.4 and cannot use ESB/mediator.
For the 2nd option,
I have tried to put multiple receive's to poll data from a table but it does not work(it waits at the 2nd Receive). Let me try to elaborate the issue a bit.
I have created a table for polling.
The table has 3 columns :- transaction_id, status, is_read
is_read is kept to implement the logical delete strategy of DB polling.
What I need to do is to maintain a single instance of BPEL to maintain a transaction(which is uniquely identified by transaction_id).
The BPEL should track the different stages of the transaction, i.e whenever a new row is inserted in the table with the updated status for a transaction, it must find the correct instance(by co-relating the transaction_id) and go to the next step (wait for the next receive activity) until all the steps of the transaction is completed.
In the code, I created a correlation set consisting of transaction_id(only). The property transaction_id has an alias to the inbound variable's payload.
In the first Receive, I checked the "create instance" checkbox. Also the correlation set is initialized.
From next Receive onwards the correlation set is checked.
The polling frequency is 5 secs.
The first Receive works fine and the process is instantiated. But it waits at the 2nd Receive indefinitely.
It will be very helpful if you can try this once. If you feel this is not the right approach, please guide me.

Hmmm...I thought this tool was going to be a good replacement for Survey Monkey. I was wrong. I definitely need a way to tabulate responses from multiple surveys so that I can roll them up by region or state or district. Do you have any suggestions of how I could accomplish this in AFC?

Lookup field to the same list - bug in IE

I have a list and lookup field refers to the same list. If I add items with the same name, then the dropdown list for this field on the new\edit form stops functioning in IE.
Unable to get property 'split': null or undefined
core.js line 2...
In other browser everything ok. So, it seems bug in IE.
May be there some fix? Please advice

Per my understanding, there is a lookup field in the current list which lookup a filed in the same list. When add item with same name as the previous item, new/edit
form stop functioning in IE.
What version of IE in use in your environment?
I tried to reproduce this issue in IE 8+ versions, it turns out that all works without issue:

How to Display values in order when Multiple values are selected in the Parameter List

HiI have a report which runs on the parameter(SalesPersonName) selected. Report has a group section where for each SalesPersonName we have different actions(Lead,Prospect,Active and so on) he had performed which is the basis for the group.Now if i need multiple Value selection in the parameter,which i am able to acheive but the order in which it gets printed is not the right one.I want intially all the actions performed by one sales person printed and then the second one should start.Can any one help me in this aspect.Thanks in advance

If I understand your report structure correctly - you have one Grouping on Actions. So could you not add another grouping on SalesPersonName above the Actions grouping that you currently have?So the new structure would be:G1 - SalesPersonNameG2 - Actions (current grouping you have) Whether or not you suppress or don't suppress the new grouping is your choice, but it will then force the ordering that you are asking about (assuming I understood)
