Multiple Queues - JMS adapter

Hi,
I have different queues at my sender side from which i need to pick the data ,using JMS adapter, so do i need to create seperate communication channel for each queue and thus corresponding sender aggremnet for each communication channel.
Regards,
Kiran.

hi,
just like Wojciech said you not only need it
but it will be very helpful
as if you one message type per one queue
you will be able to route it in the XI
if you would have all message in one queue
(with one sender agreement)
if would be much more difficult

    How can a JMS adapter be configured in BPEL to consume messages from multiple queues ?

    If you want to use JMS with AQ as datastore then there is some configuration you need to do to enable this. This is outside SOA Suite per sa, e.g. no adapter required.
    If you want to connect to the AQ direct then use the AQ adapter.
    this blog may be of some help understand the configuration

  • Having multiple service operations in a single JMS adapter best practice

    Hi All,
    I am using JDeveloper and SOA Suite 11.1.1.6. I need to read from multiple JMS Topics and transform and enhance the messages through the Mediator and then persist into Database.
    My question is
    What is the best practice to consume from multiple topics, Should I configure separate JMS adapter for each of the Topic destination
    OR
    have a single JMS adapter with multiple operations by manually changing the JMS adapter wsdl and jca file?
    I find cannot have
    Please suggest.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Vijay,
    did you actually test this? When I finish creating a DBAdapter, there is a operation present. Then when I click edit again on the DBAdapter, and I create another select, when I finish only the first operation is gone, and I can only see the one I've created via the last edit.
    I dont understand your reply. Can I have two operations, each one with select underneath, in the same adapter?

  • Using JMS adapter with J2ee native queuing system

    Hi there,
    As far as I have understood J2EE contains it's own native queuing system (JMS). Since the J2EE is part of the WAS, shouldn't it be possible to somehow use XI's JMS adapter in conjunction with this native JMS?
    I've tried to search many places in many ways, but haven't been able to find any info. Is it possible at all?
    Hope, some of u guys can help out there:-)
    Regards,

    Hi Keith,
    It looks as if you are in the same situation.
    We have this working very nicely now and I'm happy to share. In fact I was just granted wiki permissions so I can add the information there along with screen shots.
    Informaiton on this configuration is very scattered but I imagine many people would find it useful for integrating with Mainframes without adding any complexity to the legacy environment. Let me come back to you with some more inormation, but for now you can get started with this:
    Insert a module as the 3rd line in your Module Processing Sequence to use AF_Modules/MessageTransformBean and give it a key in order to associate with the parameters you will need to type in below. These parameters are very similar to normal XI File adapter parameters.
    SAP Note 793922 has more info on the parameters... not the greatest reference I know.
    Also this has some info...

    I'll try and get some screen shots up on the Wiki.

  • Can we use 2 queue File in same JMS adapter

    I am doing a scenario where 2 queues( Queue1file and Queue2file) are coming from MQ series but in the receiver end both are processing one after another or one only at a time. Can I achieve this using a single JMS adapter or can you suggest any other possible way?

    The second submit is within an elsif so both programs will never get fired.
    It will be either first or the second.
    Also check if the program is getting launched but some other issues are preventing email. Try to submit some other program in the ELSE part.

  • How to remove header data from JMS Queue while sending by jms adapter

    Hi.
    I have a problem regarding the MQ-series JMS adapter.
    When writing the file the JMS adaptor putting  some additional tags.
    Actually we are converting idoc-xml to flat file by using ABAP mapping which is available in SAP document. We are using JMS Receiver adapter, whiel sending flat file to JMS QUEUE,  it is displaying some extra xml tags. I think this is the header data available in IDoc XML. Can any body help me in removing header data.
    There must be some way for XI's JMS adaptor to not include these information.
    My example looks like this:
    RFH Ø
    ¸MQSTR
    ¸ " is junk that I really dont need in the file.
    How can you setup the JMS adaptor not to put in these information?
    Thanks & Regards,

  • JMS adapter transaction. Rollback message to queue.

    Hi all !
    A have question about jms adapter transaction. My composite application has 3 steps : JMS adapter (listener), mediator, WS adapter. JMS adapter listen queue push message to mediator, mediator invoke web service. If ws not available (server down), mediator try recovery 5 times. After 5 times, reject message from queue. I wont rollback message to queue. I saw examples with JMS + BPEL, but it not help me. Anybody can help me.

    Hi,
    You don’t need to catch a mediator fault – you can let it rollback to the JMS Queue and let the Queue do the retries.
    To get the retries working, log in to the weblogic console and navigate to JMS Modules -> Your Module -> Your Queue -> Configuration -> Delivery Failure
    Here you will find options for Redelivery Limit. Set this to the number of retries you need.
    Then navigate to the connection factory you want and set the redelivery delay.
    This should get your desired behaviour, but once the message has failed it will be discarded. If you prefer to put it on an error queue you can create an error queue, and in the original queue’s, goto Delivery Failure, change the expireation policy and set the Error Destination to be your error queue.
    Hope that helps!

  • JMS adapter settings for response to dynamic queue

    Hello,
    We are sending a message through JMS to SAP in a synchronous manner (client waiting for the reply after sending the request). The SAP is receiving and processing the message.
    We configured the JMS Sender & Receiver channel as per solution given in SDN for the quetion. ( (2.8) Does the JMS Adapter support the JMSReplyTo feature? )
    1. In Sender communication channel, checked the "JMS Message ReplyTo Destination" attribute  of 'Adapter specific message attributes'
    2. In Receiver communication channel, added the "JMS.Message.DynamicDestination" parameter and value 'true' (without quotes for both strings) in "Set JMS Additional Parameters" table
    3. Added the "JMSReplyTo" header syntax in input xml message as below:
                        a. Message : <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
                                 <ns0:getEmployeeInfo xmlns:ns0="namespace">
                                 <employeeId>0000001</employeeId>
                                 </ns0:getEmployeeInfo>
                        b. Destination = com.someDestination
                        c. JMSReplyTo= com.someReplyQueue
    We have selected Transport protocol option "Access JMS Provider Generically"
    But it is not able to send the reply to replyTo destination of the message.
    Wondering if there is anything in the JMS Adapter setting like reply to Destination (technical term DCJMSReplyTo) which can be set to reply queue of the message (to a dynamic destination).
    Please let me know in case anybody knows about the same.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • JDeveloper - ESB / BPEL - JMS Adapter - prefix queue name with db schema

    When I use the JMS Adapter in ESB to create a new message queue producer or consume using database (AQ) I'm experiencing a problem when selecting the queue.
    I can browse the queue in the database but when I have selected the queue JDeveloper prefix it with the schema name owning the queue.
    Example:
    java:comp/resource/DocumentQueueResourceProvider/Queues/QUEUES.DOCUMENT_IMPORT_QUEUE
    Schema owner is QUEUES and the name of the queue is DOCUMENT_IMPORT_QUEUE.
    The problem is when I try to use it its unable to look up the queue and I have to manually remove the prefix from .wsdl file before deploying it - as with setting mcf.IsTransacted='false'.
    When the resource provider finds the queue and exposes it in the JNDI three it does it without the prefix.
    Question: How do I either:
    a) make the schema prefix be removed by JDeveloper
    b) make the resource provider prefix the queue name with the schema name.
    Anybody?
    Best regards
    Christian Damsgaard

    Try this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xsd:schema targetNamespace="http://www.yourcompany.com/msg"
    xmlns:tns="http://www.yourcompany.com/msg"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns:nxsd="http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/nxsd"
    nxsd:encoding="ASCII" nxsd:stream="chars" nxsd:version="NXSD"
    elementFormDefault="qualified" attributeFormDefault="unqualified">
    <xsd:element name="rootnode" type="xsd:string" nxsd:style="terminated" nxsd:terminatedBy="${eof}"/>
    </xsd:schema>
    This will result in a single node xml.

  • How to send message to a queue using JMS adapter

    Hi,
    I need to send messages to the default queue(demoQueue) available in the server using a JMS adapter in a BPEL process.
    I tried doing the same by using an invoke activity that invokes the JMS adapter service to send the message to the queue. I deployed this process in the server and gave an input to send it to the queue. The prcoess executed without any errors in the BPEL console.
    I am also using Hermes v1.0 to monitor the queue but it says that it dint receive any messages in the queue to read.
    I am sorry that i have restrictions from the client that i can't post the code here. Please let me know if anyone has got any solution or if you know any other way of doing the same.
    Thank you

    You can use the following procedure :
    DBMS_AQ.ENQUEUE (
    queue_name IN VARCHAR2,
    enqueue_options IN enqueue_options_t,
    message_properties IN message_properties_t,
    payload IN "<ADT_1>",
    msgid OUT RAW);

  • JMS adapter fails to open IBM WebSphere MQ Manager V6 Remote Queue

    Hello,
    We are trying to connect to a Remote Queue with the SAP PI 7.0 SP9 JMS adapter to IBM WebSphere MQ V6 on Linux SLES9 x86_64.
    We did deployed the JMS-adapter with the V6 native libaries on SAP PI.
    In the Communication Channel we use the Adapter Type = JMS, Sender, Transport Protocol = WebSphereMQ(non-JMS).
    The MQ Queue Manager is on the same server as SAP PI so we use localhost, Server Port, Queue Manager Name, Channel Name and JMS Queue Name
    The <sid>adm user is a member of the mqm group.
    When I check the RWB I see this fault message:
    Error during channel initialization; exception trace: javax.jms.JMSException: <b>MQJMS2008: failed to open MQ Queue</b> at ...
    and also
    com.ibm.mq.MQException: <b>MQJE001: Completion Code 2, Reason 2045</b>
    When we lookup the reason 2045 we get this explaination on MQ:
    MQRC_OPTION_NOT_VALID_FOR_TYPE
    We also have a type = Receiver Communication Channel on the same MQ Queue Manager that one is working fine.
    Please advise!
    Best regards,
    Mike Laanen

    Mike,
    check whether the Queues are created and activated if it done. then check whether you have authorization for those queues.

  • Configuration for JMS Adapter Sensor action and JMS Queue sensor action..!!

    Hi,
    Id like my BPEL process to send an XML message to JMS on Websphere,I was able to do this through a JMS adapter.But I would more like to add sensors into my process which would really do the same thing - send an XML message to JMS Q.
    Now I understand that there are two ways to do this,JMS Queue and JMS Adapter - thorugh bpel sensor action.
    I am able to use JMS Queue and it works fine , but adds its own xml tags to the message,Is there any way I could send only my xml payload as a message to the queue??
    Also could any1 tell me what is the configuration for JMS Adapter sensor action?
    Any suggestions how do I go about it??

    Hey Anirudh,
    Thanx for the response :-)
    All these hold good when I have an AQ adaptor right,But the thing is I want to send a message to a 'JMS' queue with out actually using an adapter configuration wizard and everythng..So I resolved to JMS queue Sensor action..Heres the xml snippet from the sensorAction.xml files which is generated..
    <actions targetNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Test_JMS_Logging" xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/sensor" xmlns:tns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Test_JMS_Logging" xmlns:pc="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/sensor">
    <action name="JMS_LogEntry" publishName="" publishType="JMSQueue" enabled="true" filter="" publishTarget="jms/L_Queue">
    <property name="JMSConnectionFactory">jms/L_QueueCF</property>
    <sensorName>ActivitySensor_JMS</sensorName>
    </action>
    </actions>
    This works grt and adds messages to the queue..But adds its own header info according to the sensor.xsd loacted at the Oracle_home\bpel\system\xmllib\ folder.
    Right now the XML message added to the Queue is:-
    <actionData xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/sensor">
    <header>
    <sensor sensorName="ActivitySensor_JMS" classname="oracle.tip.pc.services.reports.dca.agents.BpelActivitySensorAgent" kind="activity" target="AddLEntr
    y" xmlns:pc="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/sensor" xmlns:ns2="http://www.ulrhome.com/2008/10/L_Entry" xmlns:tns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Test_JMS">
    <activityConfig evalTime="completion">
    <variable outputDataType="string" outputNamespace="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" target="$WriteL_Produce_Message_InputVariable/L_Entry/ns2:L_Entry/ns2:LCName"/>
    </activityConfig>
    </sensor>
    <instanceId>950016</instanceId>
    <processName>Test_JMS</processName>
    <processRevision>v2009_04_15__40833</processRevision>

    <timestamp>2009-04-15T11:21:23.596-04:00</timestamp>
    <midTierInstance>app01.ulrhome.com:9700</midTierInstance>
    </header>
    <payload>
    <activityData>
    <activityType>scope</activityType>
    <evalPoint>completion</evalPoint>
    <durationInSeconds>0.011</durationInSeconds>
    <duration>PT0.011S</duration>
    </activityData>
    <variableData>
    <dataType>12</dataType>
    <data>
    <ns0:LCName xmlns:ns0="LC_Test1http://www.ulrhome.com/2008/10/L_Entry">LC_Test1</ns0:LCName>
    </data>
    <queryName/>
    <target>$WriteL_Produce_Message_InputVariable/L_Entry/ns2:L_Entry/ns2:LCName</target>
    <updaterName>AddL_Entry</updaterName>
    <updaterType>scope</updaterType>
    </variableData>
    </payload>
    </actionData>
    My requirement is that I need to add a sensor to the BPEL process which posts 'Only my payload message to the JMS queue'..
    What I would want the message in the Queue to be is : -
    <data>
    <ns0:LCName xmlns:ns0="LC_Test1http://www.ulrhome.com/2008/10/L_Entry">LC_Test1</ns0:LCName>
    </data>
    Also while creating a Sensor action I get another option as JMS Adaptor,I am not sure of what value to type in this wizard..Heres what I keyed in..M sure this is not right..Cos it dosnt work :-)
    <action name="SensorAction_JMS" publishName="" publishType="JMSAdapter" enabled="true" filter="" publishTarget="jms/LoggingQueue">
    <property name="JMSConnectionName">Log</property>
    </action>
    </actions>
    Could any 1 tel me what values are the right values..And does JMS Adapter mean that I have to create a JMS Apator in the project and give that connection name as a Value..
    I am not finding sufficiant Documentation for 'JMS Adapter' so M clueless and right now any help will be appriciated :-)

    I have created AQ Queue in my Database, Using JMS Adapter i am able consume and produce the messages. I want a filter condition, which is not happening.
    The scenario is i have a field ImportInd in my XSD and i need to pick the message with ImportInd = 1, otherwise the message should lie on the queue.

    In my case the queue is on a separate machine, and the BPEL is deployed on a separate machine. Cross-domain security config needs to be done for these machines to be able to talk.

    Under JMS Module Queue Name SOAPostActivityStatusQueue which JNDI name is jms.SOAPostActivityStatusQueue
