My broadband has 2MB download limit I need a counter to see how much I use. Please recommend one that I can start counting at the start of the month and be able to see how many MB I have downloaded at the end of the month to be able to work out what amount I need to pay for.
Oops I mean a 2GB/month allowance. And I found Intego Content Barrier does it.

Our satellite company's Fair Access Policy allows: 425 mb max per 24 hours, but it seems like we often go over that amount by just surfing the internet. We have 2 adults and 3 kids who use Mac computers. Is there a way to view the amount of KB's or MB's used after viewing a page? Thanks.There are a few things you can do to cut down on bandwidth. I set Firefox never to check the cache with pages online, so that if I go back to a previous page, it does not need to download again, but can be pulled out of the cache.
browser.cache.check_doc_frequency - set to 2 (never)
I use Flashblock to prevent Flash items from downloading automatically. If there is any Flash item you want to see, you click the icon over that space, and that one item will load but none of the others on the page will load until you want them to do so.
I use Adblock Plus to block ads. This saves bandwidth as well, since it stops banner ads from being loaded, and blocks popup ads as well. -

thanksI've recently upgraded my stuff with a Mac Mini Server and downloaded Logic from the app store with absolutely no problems at all. I'm on 10.7.3 with an i7 processor and 4Gb memory (yeah, may as well put another 4 in as well, I know).
Logic 9.1.6 is running very smoothly for me, but I think I'll go to 9.1.7 because there is a malfunction with time stretching regions in the Arrange window that the update's meant to fix.
A lot of your experience with downloading the additional content, apart from Logic itself, will depend on the speed of your internet connection, but the software handling of that aspect seems quite good - best to just load one lot of stuff at a time and see how it works out. -

No, Apple does not take trade ins. Your carrier may have different polices regarding trade ins. Best to contact them about it.
Alternatively you can use Apple's Recycling Program with one of their partners. They will give you an Apple Store Gift card with the value they determine the iPhone has. And you can use the Gift card in the purchase of a new iPhone.

Is there a way I can see how much memory each program is taking up and then how do I delete the ones I don't want to use.
Download from the Internet OmniDiskSweeper (free) and open it. It will show all of your files and the respective sizes. Delete and transfer what you do not want or need on your HDD.

There are different templates for iPhoto books and they differ from version of iPhoto to iPhoto, so explore the other options.

You can only return the machine if you're within 14 days of purchase - otherwise you're just 'stuck' with what you purchased (unless you sell it, of course).
I always recommend that Retina owners order 16GB of RAM as the RAM is not upgradable - it's soldered onto the logic board.
Your call - if you're with 14 days of purchase, take it back and exchange for a 16GB model. Or sell it and buy a model with 16GB. The higher amount of memory will allow you to run far more memory-hungry apps concurrently.
